"Man this is going to be a long one. 79 pages but it was all worth it. I spent weeks doing this one and I think I did great." Said Sparta.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Ken.
"He is talking about-" Said Leaf until her mouth was covered.
"Stop breaking the fourth wall." Said Carol.
Volume 4 Issue 8: A Much Needed Talk
-(Assume everything involving Team RNJR and Qrow is like in Canon. It's all going to be the same anyway except for at the end of it because this isn't about them, it's about Thorin, Lucy, Artemis, Natasha, Minerva after Blake because it's practically the same Word for Word in chapter 13 without Ben's comments.)
The Island of Menagerie
Belladonna Family Home
With Blake.
The opening starts with Blake standing on a second story deck outside her father's office. The broken moon shines over the house. Blake stares at her father's door, beside which hangs an empty birdcage, when Kali speaks carrying a tea tray, startling her.
"For a ninja you are easy to scare." Said Kali.
"You know, you can always go in and say hi." Kali said.
"I don't wanna bother him." Blake replied.
"A Father's never too busy for his daughter." Kali explained.
"I would disagree with that." Said Weiss.
"Not all of my friends would agree with you on that." Blake replied, rolling her eyes and she smiled.
Kali kisses her daughter on the cheek and hands her the tray. Blake accepts it, but is a bit taken aback by being handed it.
"Here." Kali said simply as she turned away.
"What? Where are you going?" Blake asked, stopping her mom for a moment.
"You've never been very talkative, but that boy you brought home loves to run his mouth. I wanna hear more about the adventures of Team RWBY that you didn't tell us about." Kali explained, walking away.
"He won't shut up." Said mordred.
"Kali? Is that you, dear?" Ghira asked inside his office.
Blake gives a nervous start of surprise when she hears his voice. The tray shakes in her hands, and she lets out a quiet whine.
Ghira straightens some paperwork on his desk with April helping out while May slept in a crib next to the painting as the porch door slides open and Blake steps inside.
"Uh, hey Dad, April." Blake greeted nervously.
"Blake! Well, this is a pleasant surprise." Ghira replied.
"I…" Blake began before her dad cut her off, standing up.
"Please, come sit." Ghira replied, walking towards the table.
Smiling, the Father and daughter duo both move to the oversized coffee table and lounge furniture, and Blake sets the tea set at the end where her father sits as April picked up May to give the two some much-needed privacy.
"That is nice of her." Said Kirby.
"Don't worry, I've got it. Sit down, sit down." Ghira said, taking a seat and started to pour the tea.
"I don't wanna keep you if you're—" Blake replied before she was cut off again.
"Nonsense, I've been cooped up in here all day." Ghira explained.
"You still take sugar, right?" Ghira asked, placing a cube in the cup nearest to Blake.
"Oh, actually, uh-" Blake began.
"Oh! Sorry!" Ghira replied awkwardly.
"No, no no no, it's fine." Blake assured.
"Oh, here, take this one." Ghira replied, trying to handover his cup.
"No, really. It's, it's no big deal." Blake assured again, quickly taking the cup.
"You sure?" Ghira asked.
"Positive." Blake replied.
"Old habits, I suppose." Ghira said.
"Never going to break them." Said Ghira.
Blake takes a sip of her tea and winces with a tiny exclamation of pain.
"Might wanna let it cool." Ghira said.
"Right." Blake agreed, setting the Cup on the table.
"So... is it... warm... in Vale?" Ghira asked, trying to ease the awkwardness.
"Huh?" Blake asked, confused.
"It just... seems like your outfit doesn't cover very much." Ghira explained.
"It covered plenty." Blake replied, looking down at herself and crosses her arms over her chest, sounding like a normal teenage girl for once.
"It's nice to be normal." Said Julie.
"I mean, a little more armor might help. Don't you think?" Ghira asked.
"I'm fine. I don't need any armor I can look after myself." Blake replied stubbornly.
"I…*Sigh* I know you can. I'm sorry." Ghira replied.
"Why?" Blake asked, confusing her father as he sat next to her.
"Hmm?" Ghira asked, confused.
"Why would you say that?" Blake asked specifically.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong? What did I say?" Ghira replied, putting a hand on her back.
"How can you still love me after what I did?" Blake asked.
"The question on my mind." Said Blake.
"Blake... Your mother and I will always love you." Ghira explained.
"You were right. I shouted at you and yelled at you. But you were right. I called you cowards!" Blake replied emotionally.
"It's okay." Ghira said, pulling her close.
"I should have left the White Fang with you and Mom. I should've listened to you, and I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." Blake replied, pulling back and turning away from her father.
"Blake, it's fine. We never held anything against you, and As I told you before I never feared you would fail. The only thing I ever feared was that you would fall down the wrong path, and I am so proud to see you haven't." Ghira explained, pulling her chin to look her in the eyes.
"But I did! I was-" Blake sniffled until she was cut off.
"And you pulled yourself out. You came back. There aren't many who possess that kind of strength and even fewer that have the courage to face their demons again. Here, Vale, Mountain Glenn, Beacon - you confronted the White Fang time after time." Ghira explained.
"It wasn't enough." Said Blake.
"No, you didn't. Which is why I wanted to ask you... why did you leave Vale? Why did you leave your friends behind? Your godchildren?" Ghira asked.
"*Sniff* I..." Blake began before behind them, the porch door falls inward, Sun on top of it
"I really really don't like you." Said Ghira.
and yelping while Mordred stood behind him face palming as Blake turns around.
"Sun!?" Blake shouted, affronted and standing up.
"D'yuh! Whoa! This isn't the bathroom! Uh, I'll just be going! Sorry to interrupt this tender family moment!" Sun replied, giggling awkwardly.
"Shut up, you stupid monkey." Mordred added bluntly, causing Ghira to chuckle under his breath.
"I really don't like you." Ghira said after a moment.
The scene shifts to Blake outside her dad's office glaring at Sun With a groan of frustration and Blake slapping Sun in the face.
"Ugh! No concept of privacy, no respect for personal space! Dragging Mordred into this!" Blake said, slapping him after each sentence before stopping, allowing his hand to rub his face where she made contact the second time.
"Ow! Dam you hit hard!" Cried Sun.
"I'm sorry, okay?! Ow, I'm sorry!" Sun groaned in apology.
"I'm not." Mordred added, glad he could get away without getting hit because it meant he could watch the stupid monkey get hit.
"Wow your mean." Said Sun.
"Your point?" Asked Mordred.
"Ugh!" Blake groaned, walking away angrily.
"Look, I promise it was important! I needed to find you to talk to you!" Sun cried.
"What, Sun? What could be so important?!" Blake asked exasperated, turning around.
"I was talking to your mom and she said something weird about the White Fang!" Sun explained.
"I'm stopping you right there." Blake replied, raising her finger.
"But—" Sun began until he was cut off.
"I told you, I'm not here you fight the White Fang, I'm not here to fight anyone. I'm here to rest, to figure things out, and to see my family." Blake stated, crossing her arms.
"Your mom said White Fang members don't wear masks in Menagerie. But we saw one at the market yesterday! The stupid monkey took a picture because he wouldn't let me drag the corpse back here!"
"You wouldn't- oh who am I talking to. Of course you would." Said Blake.
Mordred explained as Sun took his scroll out of his back pocket.
"Sun!" Blake shouted.
"Look, I'm trying to help!" Sun replied, pulling up the image before Blake pulls his Scroll out of his hands and tosses it out into the trees until Mordred catches it and gives it back to Sun via his shadow manipulation.
"Since when did you have that?" Asked Ben.
"I don't want your help!" Blake shouted.
Sun stares at his Scroll as he puts it away and turns to Blake, growling. The sound of the Scroll landing, followed by a feminine, gasping sound is heard from the trees where Blake had just tossed the device. Mordred, Sun and Blake's eyes go wide for a second and they slowly turn, eyes narrowing.
The visual becomes a wide shot of the two of them on the porch that is slowly pulling back. It cuts to the dark trees, moving in slowly. A dark humanoid shape with a white mask can just be made out, perched atop a palm tree. The visual cuts to Blake as she gasps and cuts back to the figure, a female Faunus with thin, curved, dark gray horns and black, spotty skin. She is wearing a black, sleeveless stealth suit with a gold zipper and slightly lighter-black straps with gold buckles on it. On her face is a large, white Grimm Mask with elegant, curvy red markings.
"What are you doing Ilia?" Asked Sam.
"No idea." Said Ilia.
The woman leaps into the air, giving a better view of her. The legs of her stealth outfit are short, and she wears high-top boots. Her black hair is pulled back in a ponytail that curls up at the end. The Faunus soon disappears. On the porch, Blake steps forward with a determined look in her eye while Sun throws out his arms.
"A freakin' Ninja?!" Sun cried.
"That kind of information would've been good to know!" Mordred added, pulling out Death's Grasp and taking off after said ninja.
"A spy!" Blake shouted.
"But why would—" Sun asked, but he was cut off as Blake jumps onto the railing and then off into the trees.
"Hey wait!" Sun shouted, holding out his hand just before Kali came around the corner.
"What's happened?" Kali asked, worried.
"The White Fang is evil, I totally called it, and I'm bringing your daughter back!" Sun explained, backing up as he speaks.
He leaps down off the second story deck. Kali's mouth drops open for a moment before she brings up her hand, worried.
"I just got her to come come." Said Kali.
The Continent of Anima
With Qrow and Team RNJR.
In the next scene It is morning time at the campsite, and the birds are a-tweeting. All four teenagers are in their sleeping bags, the campfire burned out in the middle. Qrow sits up against the base of a tree, facing the group. Ren sits up with a sigh.
"We should probably get moving." Ren stated.
"Yeah yeah." Jaune replied, setting up.
Both turn at the sound of Qrow coughing, which grows louder and sounds worse with each cough. Nora and Ruby sit up, and Ruby quickly goes to her uncle's side.
Purple staining is visible on Qrow's bandage, which he is holding his right hand over. He lifts his left hand to his mouth as he continues to cough. A cuckoo bird joins its call to the rest of the morning birds. Qrow pulls his hand away with a groan, and the whole palm, including up over the wrist and his fingers, is covered in the purple stain.
Ruby's eyes grow wide, and she gasps. Qrow looks at his hand.
"Well... That's unfortunate." Qrow said, groaning as a very familiar red portal opened up, much to Ruby's dismay and worry.
"Welp I'm dead." Said Ruby.
"What happened?" Raven asked, holding up two remotes in case anyone tries to fight her or run.
"He got stung by a Scorpion Faunus named Tyrian." Ruby explained.
"And, you didn't think to use Magic to heal him?" Raven asked, pointing out the obvious solution.
"I already checked in my spell book before I went to sleep, I don't have anything to heal with Magic." Ruby explained as Raven covered the bridge of her nose, trying to think.
"I'll have to fix that later." Mumbled Verdona.
"The only doctor I know who can possibly fix him is Spring, I don't know if Jaune's watch can heal poisons considering this isn't a genetic defect, I can't bring him to my camp without raising questions and Yang is off world training Pisces on what it means to be a princess and won't be back until noon which means you're going to have to get him to Mistral as quick as possible because I don't have any contacts there to open a portal for you." Raven mumbled.
"That settles it, I'll transform into my Dragon form and we'll fly all the way there as quickly as possible." Jaune stated.
"Not so fast. People are a lot more afraid of dragons than ever before which means you have to find a different alien or something to get him to the nearest town. Where's your map?" Raven replied, causing said person to chuckle nervously.
"We kind of lost it a second time." Jaune explained, chuckling and earning a intense glare from her.
"Never lose a map." Said Qrow.
"You're lucky I always carry a extra map, let this be a lesson to all of you. Sometimes a map is far more important and useful than any weapon." Raven replied, handing them her map.
"So you're not going to take me home?" Ruby asked, earning herself a glare also from her step-mom.
"The only reason why I'm not taking you home right now is because you need to help them get your uncle to a doctor as quickly as possible, I'm going to my tribe to get some stuff to slow down the poison. Also, just know that when you come home, Summer will probably ground you for life." Raven explained, opening a portal.
"If your lucky." Said Summer.
"Wait. Before you go, how's Laura?" Ruby asked, afraid to know the answer.
"She downright hates you for leaving her. Trust me when I say that feeling's never going to go away especially when you know you deserve it."
"Harsh." Said Tai.
"Deserving." Corrected Raven.
Raven explained, walking through the portal to her tent to see Vernal sleeping on her bed.
Grabbing a few things, Raven started to wonder if it was a good idea to actually allow Ruby and her friends to continue on without her guidance, watching, but quickly changed her thought process as her friend started to wake up when the clone walked in, looking very weak and tired.
"How are you feeling, clone?" Raven asked.
"Worse. If it wasn't for Alastair and Ifrit, I wouldn't last this long, but the magic can't sustain me much longer. I need my creator to refill me." Clone Yang/Draco explained.
"I knew I was forgetting g something." Said Yang.
"Don't worry She will refill you very soon now that she has regenerated her arm." Raven explained.
"Good, now why are you here? I thought you were going to stay with your family today." Clone Yang/Draco asked.
"I just need to pick up a few things, then I'm gone." Raven explained before there was an explosion outside the walls.
Looking outside her tent, Raven became annoyed when she saw it was the Faction force of her former tribe members who went rogue after Scales's death.
'Hold on, Qrow. I'll be there as soon as I can.' Raven thought.
The island of Patch
In the backyard of Xiao Long-Rose-Branwen House
In the backyard, Ben was facing Dante using King Cerberus in staff mode, Vergil using a Replica of Yamato, and Ragna with all the dimension hoppers watching closely to see just how Ben is going to take down the three most powerful dimension hoppers, minus Rex who is acting as the referee.
"No one fights until my goggles hit the floor." Rex instructed.
Nodding in agreement, the four waited until Rex's Goggles hits the ground just in time as Ben blinded everyone in a emerald light with his Ultimatrix by changing into Ultimate Rath, charging Vergil.
BGM - Gang-Plank Galleon - King K. Rool's Theme - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate OST
"This doesn't sound to bad." Said Ben.
Seeing the attack, the two charged at each other and start slicing, with Vergil getting a good slash on Ultimate Rath's chest and drawing blood. He's able to block Ultimate Rath's multi-slash and counters it. He tries cutting through Ultimate Rath diagonally, but his sword stops at the hardened skeleton which is now much stronger than ever before.
Ultimate Rath doesn't even remove the blade as he delivers an uppercut, adding his claws into the mix, sending Vergil off flying into the air which he immediately transforms into his Devil Trigger and flies back down, attacking him. The two clash again until Vergil knocks Ultimate Rath into the air and launches a quick Judgment Cut at Ultimate Rath, landing multiple times cutting all of his clothes except for his pants before landing with a growl.
"I rather not see if that evolves again." Said Yang.
Vergil dashes forward and gets a couple of stabs and slashes on Ultimate Rath. Ultimate Rath tries attacking back, but it's blocked as Vergil delivers a massive combo with Beowulf
"Now where did he get Beowulf? That hasn't been since since the third Game which is the first in the Time line. Do your research Toy." Said Sparta
"Not my fault. I don't do Devil May cry." Said Toy2711 appearing.
"And I don't do Blazblue, Persona, Undernight, Bayonetta, And kid Icarus, Mega man yet here we are." Said Sparta.
that kicks him into the shed.
Thinking he is down, Vergil turned around which proved to be a mistake as in a flash of light, Ultimate Rath was replaced with Ben's Devil Trigger just as Vergil tagged out with Dante.
Ben doesn't move a muscle as he created several blood chains to attack Dante, which he blocks and slices through for a few moments. Eventually, Dante pulls a Kaitlyn Ann II and starts shooting DT Ben with rockets, who defends himself Summoning the SOT in front of him. He quickly swings the blade to disarm Dante, but misses his next swing as Dante teleports behind him with Trickster Style, landing a blow before getting stabbed by a blade. DT Ben is pushed forward only to be kicked back by Dante.
" Man you're getting your but kicked." Said Zelda.
Changing in a flash of emerald green light, Ben's Devil Trigger was replaced by an alien who's appearance looks similar to that of a gorilla made out of building blocks. He has three main colors which are red, blue and yellow, with black lines all over his body. He's mostly red and yellow with some spots of blue.
This is Bloxx, a Segmentasapien from the planet Polyominus.
"I thought they where a myth." Said Verdona.
The two shoulder charge into each other, neither overpowering the other. Bloxx hops backward and as Dante charges toward him with Barlog, the Segmentasapien turns his arm into a lance-shaped blade and goes for a stab. Dante swerves his head to avoid the stab, ducks to avoid a slash, and back-flips to avoid an upward swing. Bloxx goes on a frenzy, swinging and thrusting his blade hand, only for Dante to move to avoid each of them. He slides across the ground to avoid another thrust, then uppercuts Bloxx, causing him to spit apart. Bloxx reforms and immediately counter-attacks with a successful jab, with Dante spewing blood. Dante then shoulder charges into the Segmentasapien once more, hops back, and then stops a punch from Bloxx with his hand before delivering another punch to Bloxx's head. After reforming, Bloxx was frozen in place as Dante unleashed King Cerberus, freezing Bloxx's legs.
Breaking free, Bloxx turned back to normal in an emerald light as he then used used Pyrrha's Polarity Semblance to steal the Master Sword and Hylian Shield from Link
"…." Said Link.
"Oh stop winning." Said Ben
just as Ragna charges at Ben and tries to swing Blood-Scythe, but Ben blocks it with the Master Sword. Ragna is sent backwards, while Ben is sent into the air. While in the air, Ben fires two Sword Beams at Ragna, who deflects them. Ragna then jumps into the air, performs a flip and smashes Blood-Scythe into the ground, causing a shockwave of Darkness from his Soul Eater Drive to go straight at Ben, who blocks the attack with the Hylian Shield, but gets launched back. Ragna charges at Ben and they both swing at each other. Ragna uses Cross-Slash on Ben who blocks with the Hylian Shield and on the last swing Ben rolls under Ragna.
BGM end.
"Okay, that's enough. It's clear that you can't beat any of them. You put up a good fight, but you can't beat any of them at this moment." Zelda said.
"…." Link added, taking the items back.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll ask next time. Although, I don't think that'll be necessary anymore." Ben replied, holding up his right hand to show his hand was covered in burns from the Master Sword.
"Oh my." Gasped Zelda.
"You should've known better than touching the Sword that seals the Darkness created by the Goddess Hylia. Now that you use the True Darkness, all light objects and Holy Weapons will severely damaged you along with other Dark Users regardless of the Laws of Fair Use." Ann explained, using her magic to heal his hand.
" which means I can't touch them at the moment." Said Salem
"Speaking of severely damaged things. How's the old lizard?" Ben asked.
"Oh, he's done being such a big baby. You rip off his tail one time and suddenly you're the bad guy." Ann replied rather casually.
" well I doubt it's a pleasant experience." Argued Sun.
"It's not." Said Ozma.
"I'll help him regenerate it, so he can fly soon. He's got to teach Thorin how to fly." Ben explained.
"It'll be so cool to fly like Pops, Brother!" Thorin the Dragon replied.
Chuckling, Ben patted his technical foster brother on the snout as Yang and Pisces arrived through the gate, showing they were in the castle which Pisces still looked in awe at even when leaving the magical castle.
"I take it you had fun." Ben said.
"There is so many cool things there! I cannot wait to go back!" Pisces replied.
"You should've seen it when it was first built." Hope added.
" it's about time." Said rise.
"Speaking of which. How did you all meet?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, we all wanna know." Chie added.
"Come on tell us." Kirby cheered, wanting to know.
"You all want to know? Alright, we can tell you." Helen replied.
"Get ready because it's a long long story." Julie added.
Getting comfortable, everyone watched closely as Hope chanted, creating smoke that incased all of them in a wave where they saw a Anodite starring at Durin sleeping in a cave, grinning madly.
Taking a deep breath, Thorin tipped toed towards Durin, not noticing the dragon open his eyes a little bit as everyone almost missed it if they didn't see the grin on his face as he waited for the last second.
"HEY- *BAM!*" Thorin tried only to be met by a tail to the head.
"That's a real pain." Said Ben.
Groaning, Thorin rubbed his head in pain, feeling a new headache which supposed to be impossible since he doesn't have a brain in his natural state, but then again like his future lives, he always does the impossible.
"Honestly. You really should know better by now." Durin replied, chuckling a bit.
"Come on, Dad. Do you always have to hit so hard?" Thorin asked.
Rolling his eyes, Durin got up and walked out the cave which was right behind a rather nice log cabin surrounded by all different types of trees each filled with two of every animal across the universe thanks to a favor from Darkness and Mother Nature who was also outside who smiled softly at Thorin giving him a deep hug after finally having her heart melted after The first 1 year.
"Didn't expect that." Said Tai.
"Hi Mom. Do you remember what day it is?" Thorin asked, jumping up and down excitedly like a little kid.
Giggling, Darkness put her hand on her chin, seemingly in thought as she tried to remember what day it was.
"Hmm... Let's see, it cannot be anything important because I'd remember if it was." Darkness replied, turning around to hide her smile.
"Come on! You know what day it is!" Thorin cried impatiently, stomping his foot on the ground.
"Hmm... it cannot be your birthday because you had one last year." Darkness replied smiling as Durin chuckled.
"Here you go, brat, Happy 19,997 Birthday." Durin replied, pulling out a crystal orb from his own personal pocket dimension.
" wait that means he's about my age at the moment." Said Verdona.
"This'll let you see worlds beyond this one. Just think of what you want to see and you'll be able to. Just don't break it because it's fragile and it took me months to make." Durin explained.
"Thanks you, Old Lizard!" Thorin replied, holding it close so he doesn't receive a bash on the head.
"No good lousy brat. I swear his mom is somehow haunting me from beyond the grave!" Durin declared, thinking about how his son first called him that.
Flashback to a Long Time ago.
Sitting in his cave, Durin was looking at a young Thorin, trying to get him to say something, anything since his adopted son still hasn't talked yet, much to his concern as he wanted for years now.
"Come on, Thorin. Say Dad. D-A-D." Durin said.
"OLD LIZARD!" Thorin cried, much to Durin's shock and horror as he could swear he heard his old friend laughing from beyond the grave, encouraging him.
'Ann must somehow be haunting me from beyond the grave!'
"She says she wasn't but she was so proud to hear him say that." Said Ken.
Durin thought.
Flashback end.
Back to the Present Memory
Shivering at the memory not that the viewers could see it anyway, Thorin gently placed the orb on the ground as he waited for his moms gift having waited for this for a long time.
"Pay close attention, my son. Today is the day you summon your first demon." Darkness explained, closing her Moon Eyes to better concentrate as she looks through her domain like Light does with her Sun Eyes.
"Every demon is unique. Know that two demons are truly alike, so there's no telling exactly who or what you'll summon, so don't be disappointed if you don't get anything super powerful like my personal demon, King Cerberus." Darkness explained, who unknowingly would become both proud and disappointed in her grandson Dante very far in the future for becoming more powerful than her pet, but would be disappointed that her pet died.
"that mutt had it coming for a long time." Said Lilith.
"Now. Don't force the demon come to you, the right one will find you and if you're lucky, it'll want to form a pack with you. Do you understand?" Darkness asked opening her eyes to see that her son fell asleep during the explanation.
Getting a tick mark, Durin gently picked up his gift then bashed Thorin away, hitting his head five times to get the message across that this was serious and needed to be addressed without dozing off.
"STAY AWAKE!" Durin shouted.
Sighing, Darkness started to control the shadows around her, summoning the Qliphoth, allowing a three headed dog to come out, growling at the two boys before the chains pulled him back in to the tree.
"That was my pet the King Cerberus, you'll have your own demon summon in time but for now just meditate and focus on something, something small and hopefully harmless." Darkness explained.
Grumbling like the child he is, Thorin began to practice his meditation, getting on his knees to meditate, trying to focus on summoning his own demon to help him as he unintentionally started to drain control the shadows, bringing forth a young demon with hair made of fire that went down to his neck, he seem to be covered in black scales of some kind wearing nothing more than a pair of pants that showed off his developing muscles which was impressive for someone of his age.
This is the MUCH younger Demise or Ganondorf the King of Evil's Past Life.
"Who summoned me?! Clearly it couldn't be that scrawny one looking pathetic like a child." Demise demanded, creating several tick marks on Thorin's head.
"WHO YOU CALLING SCRAWNY, FIRECROTCH?!" Thorin shouted.
Smashing their foreheads together, the two dark users glared at each other with lightning flashing between their eyes.
"I AM DEMISE THE PRINCE OF ALL EVIL! YOU SHOULD BE COWERING BEFORE ME, SCRAWNY!" Demise shouted.
"MY NAME IS THORIN, YOU STUPID FIRECROTCH!" Thorin shouted.
Sweat dropping, the two adults watched as the two started to throw insults at each other before they started to throw punches at each other.
"I see somethings never change with him." Said Zelda.
Looking at Darkness, Durin raised an eyebrow silently asking if this was a good idea.
Shaking her head, Darkness was about to separate the two teenagers from each other when Durin beat her to the punch by smashing his tail into them, stopping their fight from continuing with a proud smirk on his face as the two future friends groaned in pain.
"Stupid flying belt..." Demise groaned.
"The old lizard should really stop hitting so hard." Thorin added before they glared at each other only to stop when Durin raised his tail again in warning.
Quickly coming to a truce, the two huddled together and started whispering so quietly, that neither of the adults could hear what they were saying.
Turning around with grins that made Durin feel very uncomfortable since they were suddenly acting like best friends, having a fun idea for a prank which was probably going to come his way soon.
"MASTER ILLUSION TECHNIQUE!" Thorin cried.
Blinking, Durin became confused when nothing happened before he saw his ex-mate who turned her back on him for using Magic to save there son who was giving him a very seductive look, much to his shock as blood began to leak from his nose just in time for Demise to jump through the illusion, punching him right in the nose, sending him flying with the combo.
" can't believe that actually worked." Said Yang.
Breaking down in laughter, the two dark users laughed like mad man as Darkness looked into Durin's mind before deadpanning at her son who was too busy laughing at his father figure dismay.
"That technique is either the most idiotic technique or the most dangerous." Darkness said.
"And yet it works." Said Mary.
"Agreed." Everyone said, watching minus the kids and Ben.
"Hey, the stronger the opponent The greater the results." Ben said, chuckling.
Rolling their eyes, everyone turned back to the memory watching as Durin quickly wiped the blood from his nose, muttering about no good ingenious sons who will one day be the death of him, but chuckled anyway at the fact he knew he was gotten.
Stopping their laughter, the two turned towards each other with a grin finding a common agreement in mischief before Demise's body started to disappear slowly but by bit.
"If you're ever feeling the need to get that flying belt another helping, just summon me again!" Demise cried before he disappeared.
Chuckling at his first real possible friend, Thorin was about to ask for something he truly wants above all else when he was hugged from behind by a dark clocked figure wearing a cloak much to his surprise, but turned happy when he saw a strand of black hair falling out of the cloak.
"SIS! YOU CAME!" Thorin cried.
"As if I'd miss your birthday, little brother." Death replied, much to everyone's surprise was the voice of Death back when she always wore the cloak.
"So the rumors are true." Said Morrigan.
Yeah, that's right, She is his older sister so deal with it!
Breaking the Hug, Death lowered her hood to show her smiling face to Thorin who smiled right back as she pulled out a a Scepter with a flaming skull on top.
"Here you go, Thorin, this'll help with your Necromancy abilities, but as always don't try a true resurrection with out me, because you'll lose more than you gain." Death explained.
Smiling, Thorin immediately tried it out by slamming it into the ground, creating a skeletal hand to pick up his orb which disappeared, shattering the orb upon impact, much to Thorin's annoyance since he didn't even get to use it not that it matters since he hasn't been off of Paradiso.
"Here, let me fix that for you-" Death tried before Durin stoped her.
"No. He broke it so he'll have to live with the fact that he won't be able to see anything through it." Durin added sternly.
"Not that it matters since I haven't been off this planet." Thorin mumbled to himself but everyone heard him regardless.
"Thorin, you aren't ready. You're a but a caveling, you aren't ready to fly just yet." Durin replied, having had this talk before.
" you can't keep him from leaving forever. Children always have ways of leaving before the ready." Said Verdona.
"Come on! I feel trapped on this planet! Can't we just go to the moon or something?" Thorin asked, looking hopefully.
"No, Thorin. You aren't going to leave the planet." Darkness replied.
"AUGGG!" Thorin cried before flying off.
Watching him fly off, everyone started to feel bad for the memory of the young king as all he wants to do is go explore from the only home he knows as he came across a huge lake watching as all the fish in the water and the birds floating on the water each having there own pairs perfect in harmony while he was alone never having laid eyes on his own kind, Not even his own mother who was a valkyrie whatever that was since he fell asleep during the explanation.
"He's not very studious." Said Kevin.
"somethings never change." Said Gwen.
Getting angry, Thorin unleashed a blast of pure concentrated magic into the water, killing many of the animals only for them to return to life as they always do after Durin eats them.
"ARGGGG! IT'S NOT FAIR!" Thorin roared, kicking a nearby rock over the horizon.
Appearing behind him, Durin wrapped his tail around his son, curling into a hug in a attempt to calm him down failing as he squeezed out in frustration.
"Thorin, you need to calm down, I know you feel constricted, but trust me when I say you'll be able to leave soon." Durin said.
"I don't want to leave soon, I want to leave NOW, Death gets to go to all sorts of places. Maybe she could watch after me." Thorin replied desperately, wanting to leave the planet.
"No, my son. Believe me I know you want to leave, but you have to wait, people aren't welcome to dark users and if your mother's suspicions are true, then there's someone who would try to destroy you for simply using dark magic without mercy." Durin explained.
"are they talking about me?" Asked Yang.
"Whoever this person is he's probably just lonely, there may not be an embodiment of peace, but that doesn't mean people can't be friends if given the chance." Thorin said optimistically.
"It's impossible for everyone to truly become friends, differences in opinion will always stop that." Durin explained.
"If only there was a way for people to understand what it's like to be in another being shoes, a way for them to look at it from their point of life, maybe then everyone could become friends if they understood was like to be something else." Thorin said, causing Durin to laugh at the thought.
"Hahahaha, sure, someone could create a wristwatch that would transform the user into any life form within the known universe by their DNA."
"Wow. It says my Professor had the idea long before me." Said Azmuth.
" where were you in this time. Anyway?" Asked Ben.
"I had just passed my Test with perfect results." Said Azmuth proud of his accomplishments.
Durin replied.
With the most ironic sentence ever spoken and everyone slowly turned to look towards Ben, wondering if he has some kind of future site ability considering he completely and 100% accurately described the watch without even knowing it considering it didn't even exist yet.
"No, I can't see the future, I just got lucky I was right which I still find hilariously ironic." Ben explained before they look towards the memories as it shifted to a realm of Light where we see Minerva in a magnificent library, not having any type of celebration, but was rather studying her books as per Light's instructions on how to properly suppress emotions when they have no need for anything in life when Ann appeared holding a present for her.
"Here you go, Minerva, I had this made for you." Ann explained.
"Gifts are a unnecessary distraction from work, Ms. Annabel." Minerva replied rather coldly like Light.
"Just because Light believes that all that matters is work and emotions are useless, doesn't mean you have to believe that hogwash." Ann replied rather casually, not caring if Light hears her or not.
"That's a dangerous attitude." Said Ash.
"She never lies, so it must be true, but I thank you for the gift nonetheless." Minerva replied, turning back towards her book without another word.
"*Sigh* Please, Minerva, Light has left to deal with something, so you can drop the act." Ann said, hoping with all her heart that Minerva won't just be a emotionless machine in living Anodite skin.
(For those who are fans of Schwarzenegger, you'll get this reference.)
" jokes on him. Well I hadn't considered that at the moment it was just by sheer coincidence that's true." Said Sparta.
"But if it was what would you be referencing?" Asked leaf.
" probably the Borg from Star Trek or the cyber men." Said Ben.
Looking around, Minerva made sure they were completely alone since Light has eyes and ears literally everywhere in her realm to make sure none speak blasphemy against the light mostly because she is afraid of being locked in the small box.
"She is horrible." Said Ken bluntly.
Smiling, but still had no emotion, Minerva pushed the book to the side and started to open the package carefully, much to Ann's joy as she pulled out a pair of clothes consisting of a gold mesh shirt and over it a white-colored kimino with short sleeves and golden-lining around the collars which was secured with a white sash. There were also wore gold wristbands and white wrapping calves with white sandals.
"What's this for? I don't need to wear clothes." Minerva asked, confused.
"You need to explore outside of this realm, you truly won't learn anything just by reading it in a book. You need to go out and explore for yourself, make your own opinions, your own decisions." Ann explained.
"Mother won't allow this." Minerva said, knowing it is true.
"You leave her to me, she has me in charge of you while she's gone, so it's my fault that you suddenly disappear." Ann replied, opening a portal to a clearing in the woods on earth.
"This is one of my favorite places I've explored, there's a village south of that location that you can go to, but remember to be in disguise and only reveal your powers in a life or death situation because this planet isn't ready for life outside the world even if it's loaded with magic." Ann explained.
"Old earth. I love that time Period, it is just so fascinating." Said paradox.
Smiling, Minerva assumed her human form which was of a young blonde girl in a long ponytail, equipping the clothes and leaving through the portal as the scene shifted to a battlefield soaked in the blood and skeletons of various forms of life with many spirits and horses watching as a Anodite who actually was in human form with black hair cut short And was wearing a black skin-tight jump suit with a horse head on her left shoulder that has a decided mainland flavor, pink armor plates made of unknown materials and a red sash around her waist to carry a empty sword scabbard fighting a giant of a man who wears a brown sleeveless tunic, shoulder pieces with horses faces built into them, and has bracers and boots with chains on them. His boots go up to his knees. He has long hair and a beard, which seem to be made of eternal fire and a eternal bloodthirsty grin on his face.
This is a Young Artemis and her Father, the Embodiment of War, who is also the Son of Death.
"Wait. WHAT?!" Cried Julie
"Wait, wait, wait, wait! You were raised by War?!" Ragna cried.
"I never got his power. His test was more than I could handle." Julie admitted.
Smirking, War raised his foot and kicked Artemis away easily and stabbed his sword into the left shoulder, ignoring her cry of pain.
Pulling it out, War simply walked away without another word, leaving Artemis to cry in pain with little to no regret as this was another member of Magic's great experiment for her future king or queen, using various methods and ways of life on to find the perfect candidate.
"Get back here, you bastard! I'm not done yet!" Artemis shouted, trying to sound tough.
In response, War simply appeared right in front of her, grabbing her by the neck and threw her away into a spear that pierced her left knee, causing her to scream in absolute agony before the pain ended as war caused the spear to disappear and treat her wounds.
"It's good that you didn't give up, but always know when you're beaten, there's no shame in running away to fight another day, but there's shame in a needless death." War explained, whose voice was filled with nothing but anger, hatred, and above all: bloodlust.
"That makes a lot of sense." Said Ragna.
"Then, must you always be so brutal? I can't become Queen if I'm dead." Artemis asked.
"You only become Queen if I decide you're strong enough, you'll only leave this place when I say you're strong enough and not a second before." War replied, turning away to leave, not noticing the smirk on Artemis's face as she had a plan to get out.
With that smile, the scene shifted to a young Anodite on the homeworld within a tent stuck in chains, trying to call upon her magic to break, desiring nothing more than freedom from this horrid place until a red adult Anodite walked in with a glare, showing that this is Madura, Thorin's Birth Father.
"So this is Madura." Said Ben.
"Tell me what I want to hear, Oracle. I can make your stay as painless or as painful as it needs to be." Madura stated.
"My name isn't Oracle, it's Lucy, and secondly that's not how it works, Madura." Lucy warned, earning a blast of lightning to the face.
How did it all come to this you ask? Well, here is how it is for the Oracles of Magic.
You see the Oracles of Magic are blessed by Magic from birth and there can only be one alive at a time, making them quite rare and highly valued across the entire species, but with this comes a price as they are sought out by those who would misuse their powers in order to get what they want through any means necessary including kidnapping and torture such as the case with Madura who wanted all the power for himself to become king.
"Tell me my fate, Oracle." Madura ordered.
Opening her mouth to make a snappy comment, Lucy was cut off by a rush of magic entering her system as her eyes glue a rainbow color, blinding the tent, creating a miniature hurricane around it.
"The Son of the Conqueror shall come, The Father shall face his Past, a single choice shall guarantee his Salvation or his Destruction, A Act of Regret shall save the Father." Lucy spoke who's voice was no longer her own what was the voice of Magic before collapsing into Unconsciousness.
" A prophecy has been made." Said hope.
"That almost never ends well." Said paradox
Rubbing his chin in thought, Madura walked away trying to decipher a words as far to his knowledge, he never had a child, considering he keeps all of his trophies of the women he captured on a tight leash throughout his conquering of the planet except for-
'That one girl got away! If she has carried my child, then he'd be in his 19,000s by now, I must find him to bring him to my side to avoid my Destruction!' Madura thought, quickly going inside his main tent, not noticing Lucy woke up, looking confused.
'Do not worry, my Oracle, very soon you shall be free, but you must hang on.' The voice of Magic said in assurance.
With those words spoken, the scene shifts to the planet Finite, a Desert planet crawling with a proud race of blue humanoids where a young Natasha with black hair in a Ponytail held up by a purple bow wearing the uniform which was a long black jacket, a white polo neck jumper, a black mini skirt and a pair of Sandals was leaving school which like almost everything on the planet was underground with only small holes just large enough for the inhabitants to crawl out of preventing most predators and other types of animals from eating them before she was surrounded by a group of girls all glaring at her.
"Looks like the Half-Blood came out of her hole, she should just leave our perfect society without a blood traitor like her father." apparently the leader of the Group said, causing all the other girls to laugh.
Growling, Natasha tried to push past them only for one of them to grab her tail and pull it back only to be met with the scorpion singer coming right out, stabbing the girl in the stomach.
"Leave me alone, Trixie. My father may have been next in line for the throne, but he threw it away for love, unlike the rest of your parents." Natasha replied.
"He's a blood traitor and you're a half-ling,
"Oh they are xenophobic." Said Azmuth.
he could've rolled our entire perfect society, but he had to throw it away for some whore who spread her legs." Trixie receiving a punch in the face.
Seeing the attack on their "leader", the other girls tried to attack back only to receive several blast of dark magic from Natasha.
Wiping the blood from her nose, Trixie started to use her magic to control the rocks around them, creating a large stone gollum that kicked Natasha away enjoying nearby wall stunning her for a moment.
"Why uncle Loki never got rid of you when you were born, I'll never know, I mean your own mother left you after your born because not only are you magically weak, but no one on this planet loves you and you'll never amount to anything with your inferior blood." Trixie said arrogantly before her golem was destroyed by Black Magic from behind her.
"That's because unlike Cyrus, I had a child through Love instead of Political Gain." a deep voice said from behind Trixie.
Looking behind her Trixie saw her uncle who was a giant of a man even amongst Finites having no hair like the rest of the male gender on this planet but was covered in His most striking features are his woad-Black tattoos of A large assortment Of runes From across the known universe from his travels, which coat large portions of his limbs and torso and his eyes, which are distinctly icy blue, wearing a black belt, a hip pouch and a thin string of charms over a torn brown waist cloth sash, which is worn over loose, black cloth pants, bound at the calves with brown leather straps. He wears no top and no shoes as he just got done with his work as a hunter.
Becoming afraid of the former crown prince, all the girls quickly abandoned their so-called leader as they know there's no chance they could take him on even with the crown princess on there side until they were restrained by him, completely making them submit in pure fear.
"Never mess with a angry dad." Said Tai.
Attempting to run, Trixie was halted by her uncle, grabbing her tail with reflexes faster than she had ever seen, much to her annoyance as there was no way she could move.
"Nat, if you can walk, let's go. Looks like we're paying a visit to my brother to talk about your cousin's behavior." Loki said, receiving a small nod in return, much to his relief as he started to drag his niece away.
Meanwhile on Paradiso
Packing his stuff, Thorin waited until Durin took his daily nap while his mom left to take care of some business, knowing that he would be completely alone for many hours as this was the perfect opportunity to go out and explore the universe.
"And, where do you think you're going?" Death asked, surprising the future king as he look towards the doorway to see his sister casually sitting on the porch drinking tea.
" you can't hide anything from death." Said nemesis.
"Please don't tell mom, Sis, I feel completely trapped on this planet and since yesterday, I feel like something is calling me away and I have to go, but you know they wouldn't let me." Thorin begged.
"*Sigh* Don't worry, I'll cover for you on the condition that you be extremely careful. I don't normally care for mortals, but I make an exception for you because you're my only friend who has never once feared me and I'm glad that you're my little brother, but you have to be extremely careful because outside this planet won't be as forgiving or as nice because they won't care if you are the Son of Darkness because many will try to destroy you." Death said.
Smiling, Thorin gave Death a hug as she smiled, hugging him right, back enjoying this moment together with each other before breaking off, so he could fly to the largest source of magic he could feel.
A few hours later in modern day England Year: 1155.
"Dam your old." Said Gwen.
Flying at the speed of dark, the future king landed in modern day England, confused as he is simply seeing an old man with Silver hair and the beginning of a beard, giggling as he looked through a bush as he watched a group of women bathe.
"Hey mister, what are you doing?" Thorin asked, scaring the old man as he was launched into the air and into the lake, scaring the girls who certainly gained a dark aura once they saw who it was.
"Back again, pervert?" a woman asked, pulling out a rather large battle ax.
Looking through the bush, Thorin watched in horror as the girls all took turns morbidly beating the poor old man to near death as it was so graphic, so horrible, so Bloody, so awful it can't be described.
" so this is Merlin." Said Ben.
After the girls were all done beating him to near death making the future king question why his sister hasn't appeared yet as they through the possibility dying man in front of him.
Picking up a stick, Thorin started to poke The man in the check causing him to twitch a tiny bit showing he was still alive either that or he's just in the process of dying.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke.
"WOULD YOU STOP THAT?!" the man shouted, somehow becoming perfectly healed like nothing ever happened.
"Definitely a champion." Said Verdona.
"I'm surprised you're still alive, I mean my big sister is supposed to take a dead man's soul, but somehow you're still alive, so maybe she just missed you." Thorin commented.
"Do you even know who I am, young Anodite? Normally, whenever your kind sees me, they're always bowing before me." The man asked, confusing Thorin.
"I'm sorry, but are you someone important? If so, why would those girls beat the crap out of you for looking at them naked like that?" Thorin asked, highly confused himself as well as the man.
"You really have no idea who I am, do you?" the man asked, receiving a no.
Sighing, the man took a step back and pulled out a very familiar staff, striking a heroic pose as the Sun gave him a spotlight as if the entire planet was his stage for this very moment.
"I come from a far off world, Men want to be with me, Women want to be with me! I am the great sage of Magic, the Light in the Darkness, the bane of Evil, Friend of Nature, I am the great and powerful Merlin the Magician!" Merlin introduced, creating fireworks around himself, hoping to receive a applause or some form of awe from the young man, but all he received was a deadpanned look.
"Mom says you're the most disturbing pervert to ever grace the Multiverse whatever that means, I think I should just call you Pervy Sage."
"Hahahahaha! You really did call him that?!" Laughed Hope.
Thorin replied, recognizing the name but not much else, causing Merlin to anime drop to the ground at the disrespect so casually given to him.
"Why you little brat! If you should call me anything, you should call me Master Merlin!" Merlin shouted.
"Hmmm... Nope! Now which way to the nearest house? I'm pretty tired from my long flight here." Thorin replied, turning around to walk in a random direction before Merlin grabbed his shoulder, pulling him back just as a group of men pulling a carriage passed by, stopping them from seeing the alien.
"Are you crazy!? This world isn't ready to know they're living things outside this planet!" Merlin whispered.
"I didn't know that! I've never been off of Paradiso before!" Thorin whispered.
"Well, assume your disguise form now, I cannot have you be seen yet!" Merlin ordered.
Looking bashful, Thorin rubbed his head sheepishly, not having a disguise since he never laid eyes on another sentient being in his life and he had never studied the human body despite learning this is was his birth mom's favorite planet to visit, finding it most fascinating.
"Humans often are." Said Verdona.
Sighing, Merlin tapped his staff teleporting then to the what would be later known as the Stonehenge, much to the Son of Darkness's confusion.
"Watch closely because this is the password to get into all Mystical places like this." Merlin explained.
Putting his palm in the center of the ground, Merlin channeled magic into every single piece of stone, causing it to glow a gray color before a portal opened up in the Archway.
"Hey! That's just a practical joke!" Cried Azmuth.
"Hey, wait a minute! Dad said this was a Galvan practical joke!" Thorin cried, recognizing the design, feeling like this old man was trying to pull a fast one on him.
"It was originally, but those old toads didn't realize they placed it on a magical strong hold, so we just took it advantage of their joke and pulled a fast one on them without anyone knowing."
" they pulled a fast one on us. Didn't see that coming." Said zenith.
Merlin explained, chuckling at the reverse joke before walking through the portal.
Walking through the portal, Thorin was amazed to see a large built-up area, extending over a large, rectangular surface to the shores of a ocean. Splitting the town vertically and horizontally is a series of large roads. The whole place is western in style, with its buildings being mildly reminiscent of neat Medieval ones. Located almost in the middle of the town, overlooking Central Path, a horizontal road where events such as a parade are held, there is a Cathedral in the distance of. In the northernmost part of the city, sitting on the shore of the ocean, is a large castle. to the west, on a hill overlooking the built-up area, is a set of apartment buildings, In the southeastern section of the city is a station where people are portaling in and out, which, to the west, was a large school similar to the castle in magics realm, And next to it was assortment of magical us stores each trying to sell their products to the nearest customer trying to haggle a price; north from the portal Station, on the town's western border, is the entrance to the park.
"Welcome, my boy, to Atlantis."
"Holy shit." Said Chie.
Merlin said, shocking all the viewers as they turn towards Ben.
"You're telling us you been to fucking Atlantis?!" Ragna cried, with no one commenting on his language as they were all too shocked.
"Before it sunk, you mean. Atlantis was a Safe Haven for all magic users similar to Menagerie here, however, it was completely destroyed when Dagon came to Earth. I know because I went and checked, it's all gone." Ben explained sadly.
"The name Atlantis has always been cursed. In our world, it was destroyed by demons because it was a base for the Angels." Jeanne added.
"I know that, I was the one who destroyed it as Sparda." Ben admitted.
"that answers one mystery." Said Bayonetta.
Turning back to the memory, everyone watched as the two casually walk through the town with Merlin receiving either cries of happiness or dirty glares from the majority of the women who all had a run-in with him at some point, much to Thorin's amusement as even a few of them even slapped him in the middle of public before walking away.
Grumbling about not deserving such attacks towards him as they made their way to a bar where there were a lot of people or drinking, laughing, or just having a good time with some even calling out Merlin's name, creating a round of cheers in the establishment.
"What's with the kid, Master Merlin?" A woman asked at the bar.
Turning towards the bar, the two saw a fair-skinned woman of average height and slender build with onyx eyes and jet-black hair; her hair is straight and shoulder-length with bangs that cover her ears and frame her face, she is seen in a long bluish-black kimono with white trimmings, held closed by a white obi, and open-toed sandals with low heels.
"He's someone I found while I was searching for any more students, Leia." Merlin explained, keeping a straight face in which no one believes for a second.
"I saw Pervy Sage watching a bunch of naked girls, but I still have no idea why he'd do such a thing." Thorin added, causing many people to laugh at the new nickname.
"Why you little brat! Now everyone's going to call me that!" Merlin cried.
"That's what you get, old man. Although, I still don't understand what's the problem." Thorin replied.
"You, you, you... Wait, I never got your name, brat." Merlin said, just now realizing it.
"My name's Thorin, old man. And don't you forget it because I'm going to be king one day!" Thorin cried.
Opening his mouth to comment, Merlin was cut off by the door bursting open with Artemis holding a rather large sword that should be impossible for someone of her size to carry.
" it seems dramatic entrance run in the family." Said pit.
"I have come to challenge you, Champion of Magic! When I beat you, War shall declare me strong enough!" Artemis declared.
Rolling his eyes, Merlin waited until the last second, using his staff to trip the young girl, sending her flying into the bar, destroying many of the glasses.
Looking towards the young girl, Thorin watched as she growled and summoned a hammer to throw.
Dodging the hammer, Merlin casually shoots two bolts of electricity as he moves away. Artemis effortlessley blocks them, then throws a new hammer. Merlin disappears and Artemis weapon comes back to its owner. Merlin then appears behind Artemis and unleashes a combo, then uppercuts Her in the air where he continues his assault. Merlin then teleports and attacks from multiple angles, managing to stay ahead of his opponent, before throwing Artemis to the ground and knocking him away with Lighting blast. Artemis hits the ground, then stands back up only to be held back down by the floorboards coming to life Holding her down.
" it appears he is no pushover even when he's barely using magic." Said Salem.
"Unhand me, old man, so I could kick your ass!" Artemis demanded, trying with all her might to using her Magic to increase her strength, but the wood was sapping it away.
"Now, why would I do that? You're the one who attacked me after all." Merlin asked chuckling as he didn't take her seriously even when she started cursing worse than a sailor.
Eyes going wide, Thorin listened closely as Artemis was swearing with such an inventive use of words more so than Durin when he loses his temper, but that's not what he was focusing on, rather he was focusing more on the fact he had insulted the Champion of Magic by calling him Pervy Sage all the time straight to his face before he got an idea.
"Hey, Pervy Sage, let me try to beat you and if I do, you have to teach me everything you know!" Thorin cried, filling the bar before a round of laughter appeared around them as no one took him seriously.
"Hahahahaha! You're too young to beat me, brat, but tell you what, I'll give you one free shot." Merlin replied, confident in his abilities.
Grinning, Thorin channeled his magic preparing for the ultimate technique that would bring the Champion of Magic to his very knees like before as the area around the Merlin changed to his greatest fantasy, sending him flying into the remaining unbroken drink bottles with a nosebleed, much to everyone's shock and confusion.
"What did you do to him?" Artemis asked, shocked in awe that this apparent extremely powerful no doubt Noble and wise Anodite was stronger than Merlin!
"Noble maybe, Wise definitely not." Said Perseus.
"I just showed him his greatest desire although I'm a little confused by it." Thorin admitted, receiving many raised eyebrows.
"What was his desire, kid?" Leia asked, using her Magic to clean up the place with a snap and poured the kid a drink of water if he wanted it, having a very good idea what it was.
"He had his stick thing in between his legs and was putting it in a strange hole you had in between your legs as well as her, that lady, she, and many others in this room are all rubbing those things on their chest against each other for some strange Reason." Thorin explained, unintentionally creating the darkest aura he had ever seen even darker than his mom.
"Wow. That's just bad." Said Hope.
(Toy2711: Remember, kids, always have "The Talk" with your parents when you're old enough, it'll prevent the apocalypse.)
But unfortunately for our resident champion, he chose the wrong time to wake up
" and that's just bad timing." Said Nemesis.
as he was instantly surrounded by a bunch of many angry and powerful witches all glaring down at him before they started to create the biggest beat down in Atlantis history, but somehow the Champions of Magic still lived, just in sheer pain.
Pulling out the stick again, Thorin once again began to poke his cheek, hoping to get some kind of response, but like earlier all he received was more twitching.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
Poke, Twitch.
"WOULD YOU STOP POKING ME ALREADY?!" Merlin shouted, making Thorin extremely smug.
"You lost, so now you have to teach me everything you know." Thorin replied, grinning smugly, not noticing a new dark aura appeared as all the women silently gave him a message about daring the pervert to teach him his ways.
"Errr... Well a deals a deal so Alright-" Said Merlin until the door Open once again this time to reveal Minerva dressed in her new clothes looking directly at Merlin.
"Lord Merlin. I have traveled from my mother's realm in order to seek your knowledge, will you please take me as your apprentice in order to help the Light?" Minerva asked.
"Ohh... Sorry, but if you got in here a little sooner, I might have." Merlin replied, pointing towards his new apprentice.
Raising an eyebrow at the new apprentice, Minerva attempted to find out what was impressive about this new Anodite, not feeling any powerful magic coming off of him or anything of note that she could sense, much to her confusion as she sensed practically no form of magical aura from him.
"He is good at suppressing magic." Said Verdona.
"Why would you teach him? He has little to no magical aura that I can sense." Minerva asked.
"He managed to best the Champion of Magic with a single attack." Artemis answered, still struggling to escape the floorboards.
Impressed, though she wouldn't admit it out loud, Minerva started to approach her fellow Anodites in order to gain their future support when she is Queen as well as to hope that she could somehow learn from Merlin through her future king before all of Atlantis shook to the core, breaking her concentration as three large armies one consisting of a large group of demons, the other a large group of angels and finally a large group of fallen warriors who were on the losing side of the war, all seeking one certain individual.
"They're after me! They're after you?!" The three children said all at once.
"None Of them know." Said Ozma.
Realizing that Atlantis was under attack, Merlin slammed his staff into the ground, activating it's the fences as all portals in and out shut down and large gollums came out of the ground and gargoyles from the roofs began to work on defense of the foreign invaders.
"Children, come with me! Whoever's behind this could be after any of you, as such, it'd be best if you're stuck together within the safe house." Leia said, instantly turning the tavern into a Safe House by removing all the furniture and replacing it with various magical weapons.
Despite not truly knowing each other, the three all shared a single look before they all rushed out of the building before they can start heading straight for the armies, wanting to take down as many enemies as they can, each believing that they brought their parent's respective enemies towards this innocent city.
Rushing out, the three jumped on to the buildings, making a break to the portals, drawing the attention of many onlookers and the armies who watched only for a moment before fighting each other again.
Landing on top of the school, the three met a pack of creatures that resemble large, lizard-like monster with oversized claws on their left hands. They wear a round shield on their right forearm, coated with dark powers to deflect most attacks.
These are Lizers.
" they look like the creatures Mundus created." Said Bayonetta.
Smirking, Artemis summoned a Sword with an intricate design with a multicolored purple and silver blade accompanied by two red diamond shaped gems, equally spread apart on the sword's blade. Along with that, it also has a brown hilt with a golden hand guard.
Charging, Artimes easily got past the shield by breaking it easily just in time for Minerva to dash forward, creating a miniature ball of light hitting the first one which sent it into three others that exploded in a light show.
Not wanting to be left out, Thorin summoned his scepter and slammed into the ground, creating several skeletal hands that rose out and started to strangle the Lizers into unconsciousness since he didn't want to kill them if he could help it which they promptly disappeared once they were unconscious, much to his relief.
None of them had time to celebrate their victory or for Minerva to question the use of dark magic as they were all cut off by a bunch of marble stone Angels landing on the roof, making a break for Thorin who raise a wall of shadows, stopping the assault giving Artemis the opportunity to swing her sword cutting off their heads, sending them back to heaven.
Seeing a opening a of a dead skeleton which was dressed up in a garb from ancient Sparta tried to stab both Thorin and Artemis until the skeleton was sent to the afterlife for judgment forcefully by Minerva, freeing it of its curse.
By now, the building they were on was surrounded by all sides from the loneliest Demon, to the strongest of fighters to the highest of Angels all fighting one another to get to the top of the building to claim what is theirs and kill the child of their enemy.
Deciding to put the argument of Light and Darkness to the back of their minds, the three began to power up once again for an all out fight before Merlin's appeared right in front, looking pissed at the invasion if the glowing rainbow under his eyepatch was any indication of his fury.
"This is a sacred place that all magic users can feel safe, but the three factions have ruined that. I'm now putting a stop to this!" Merlin declared.
Removing the eyepatch, Merlin exploded with Magic, sending the three children to their knees at the sheer weight of his power in fear and all at his control of such power that nothing could ever dare to dream they could ever have in seven lifetimes.
"Hehehehe. You just got to love moments like that." Said Alice.
Slamming his staff down, Merlin removed aLL Demons, Angels, etc., killing them all without a single shred of regret or remorse even when their Embodiment masters and Durin appeared all glaring at Merlin and their children for sneaking off.
Laying eyes on one another, Darkness and Light held out their symbols of power which in Light's case was a staff with a Lion that had blue diamonds for eyes and extremely sharp teeth, holding a Sun in its mouth.
This is Roaring Lion, Light's Symbol of Power.
Knowing that their attack will destroy Atlantis, Merlin called upon the full power of Magic to summon his master who immediately separated the two sisters by creating a wall of flames in between them.
"ENOUGH, YOU TWO! I will not have you destroy this sacred place for your childish bickering!" Magic shouted.
"This wouldn't have happened if Annabel did not let her leave. What's worse she has been corrupted by the sight of a dark user." Light said, wishing to disintegrate Thorin where he stood.
"It's not like my son asked to be harmed by your brat, Light! Perhaps if you actually showed some form of emotion, she'd be a decent person!" Darkness shouted, wanting to do the same to Minerva.
" it is wrong to punish the child for the sins of a parent." Said Jin.
"You two can solve your problems yourself, I shall be taking Artemis for her punishment." War added, grabbing Artemis's arm to drag her away before Thorin threw a mana disk into his face or his Nephew since War is the Son of Death.
"She doesn't have to go with you, old man! No one's taking my friend!" Thorin cried, surprising everyone there.
"We're friends? We barely even said a few words so how can we be friends?" Artemis asked, highly confused.
"You're the first Human I met that's not a pervert like him, so I say we're friends." Thorin explained, baffling everyone with his logic.
"I'm an Anodite like you and I don't want to be friends, so no thanks." Artemis replied simply.
"I refuse." Thorin said, crossing his arms.
"What do you refuse, brat?" Durin asked.
"I refuse her refusal."
"God I sound like Luffy." Said Ben.
the future king answered, making everyone sweat drop at his answer.
"Your son's an idiot." Light said bluntly.
"He may not be a smart as yours, but at least I treat him with love unlike you." Darkness replied.
Coming out of his shock, War laughed at Thorin's antics, shaking the very foundation of the land as if this was the most funniest joke he had ever heard in his life.
"Hahahaha! You got guts for a Mortal, Boy. Not many people dare to stand up to me or even attacked me at the same time. I the Embodiment Of War: Bless you with mastery over weaponry and innumerable strength." War announced, shocking everyone there as well as the viewers.
With that said, a Ring of fire surrounded the future king, installing a new level of strength that he had never before felt in his life and knowledge that he had never had before even with Death teaching him some weapon maneuvers.
"This could complicate my experiment. He'll have to have the strength removed temporarily once it's time for the competition to be King or Queen..." Magic mumbled to herself, trying to figure out a way to even the playing field, not realizing she said it out loud.
"What do you mean "competition"? I thought I was destined to be King, you told dad I would be when I was born." Thorin asked.
"Ummm opps?" Said Ying.
"Mother always said the same thing. Although, she did add I would destroy the Destroyer of Light." Minerva added, confused before turning towards the last member of their small group who didn't look shocked at all.
"What? With War, nothing is guaranteed, everything must be earned including the right to the throne which is what he told me when he started my training." Artemis explained.
Magic glared at War, who shrugged, not fearing the wrath of Magic at all since he does whatever he wants with little regard for others, so long as he can spread his domain.
"They weren't supposed to know this! It was supposed to be of who's conviction and ideals was the strongest, not for a reward!" Magic shouted.
"This may be a bad time to say this, but I actually don't want to be king. I just want to find out who my dad is." Thorin admitted.
'Trust me, you're not gonna like who he is. I've heard of his reputation and he's not someone you want to know, my son.' Durin thought sadly.
Rolling her eyes, Light took Minerva before anything else could happen as she did not want anyone to possibly prove she was wrong in her opinions in the way of life.
"It's time to go, Thorin. Say goodbye to your friend." Darkness said.
Smiling, Thorin gave Artemis a hug which proved to be a mistake as her reflexes kicked in, kicking him in between the legs and punching him in the face, sending him flying towards the ground.
"Opps. Sorry Ben." Apologized Julie.
"You're not the hugging type I can see." Durin commented, chuckling.
"Silence, beast! I shall now defeat you and use your remains for new weaponry and armor!" Artemis cried, feeling a little stupid that she just kicked her first friend and wanted a distraction from that fact.
Chuckling, War took Artemis away for punishment as Thorin flew up to say goodbye, finding her gone.
"I didn't get to say goodbye." Thorin complained.
"Maybe you can see her in the future, but for now, you're so grounded for sneaking off." Durin said sternly.
"Come on! Please don't make me go back to Paradiso I feel completely trapped, it's why I left when you were sleeping because I knew you'd never let me leave!" Thorin complained.
"I know you want to leave, but it's too dangerous. What if you ran into another dragon? My kind hate your kind and they'd stop at nothing to kill you no matter your age, you just aren't ready." Durin asked, earning a mana disk to the eye.
"You're not even my real dad! You're just some guy mom took pity on after your mate turn her back on you!" Thorin shouted.
"Boy, stop." Durin warned.
"Or what?! You're not even my real dad! I never got to meet my Real mom because she died!" Thorin shouted.
"And I was there as she died and I promised I'd look after you to the best of my abilities." Durin replied.
"I don't know why I'm even listening to you! You're not my dad! Your just some guy who should've died instead of my real mom! If she was here, everything would be infinitely better!" Thorin shouted.
"Ok that was to far." Said Ken.
"Thorin!" Darkness scolded.
"It's all right, Darkness. He's right, he has a point, we aren't your real parents. But we've been doing the best we can and literally making this up as we go along, so maybe our best isn't good enough Anymore." Durin said calmly.
"Look, dad-" Thorin began before he was cut off as his father raised a hand for silence.
"Perhaps you should explore the universe a bit. Meet some new people, find life outside of the animals you've grown to know and love, see what your people are like, make many mistakes and learn from them, grow as your own person." Durin said.
"You mean?" Thorin asked, getting excited.
"Yes. You may leave our home to explore as soon as I can find you a guide. The only thing you just have to decide what kind of a man you want to grow up to be, Thorin; because whoever that man is, good character or bad, he's... He's gonna change the universe." Durin replied.
"So Inspiration." Said Kirby.
Hugging his dad's neck, the two embraced each other not, noticing Darkness smile at the site of her son finally getting ready to leave as she knew this day was what day come but never thought it would be here so soon.
"If I may. He did beat me so by our agreement, I've decided to make him my apprentice, so I could look after him." Merlin offered.
Glaring at the pervert, Darkness created a small room or just the two of them, so they could talk in private because there was no way in hell was she going to allow her son to be as perverted as this guy if she could help it.
"Let me make one thing perfectly clear, Champion of Magic. If my son comes back from his journey being a pervert like you, I'll personally drag your soul to Hell where you will have to see eternity watching guy on guy action and there'll be absolutely nothing Magic can do to see if you can if you make my innocent boy like you. Do I make myself perfectly clear?" Darkness asked with her Moon Eyes fully opening and glowing with her domain.
"That sounds horrible for any straight guy!" Said Hyde.
Nodding his head hard in agreement, Merlin paled so much, he was completely transparent, not wanting to see such a horrible image in his life.
Glad that he now has a guide, Thorin rushes to get his stuff in the bar as the scene shifted to Finite where Loki and Natasha had just left Trixie in the diamond caves of their planet in silence, ignoring the glares sent towards the two before they were completely alone in a cave hall.
"Dad. Did Mom ever love me?" Natasha asked, Looking towards the ground.
"Of course. She loved you to death." Loki replied, not turning around to look at her.
"Then, why did she leave? Everyone always says how you're a traitor and I'm a abomination, but they're right about one thing, she left and I've never seen her." Natasha asked.
Stoping his walk, Loki turned around and lifted his daughter's chin to look her in the eyes with nothing but pride and joy in his eyes.
"Nat. I know things had never been easy for you, I know people pick on you and I know what they say about you and me and I always tell you to ignore and let it go, but not this time, in three years will be the day of Ascension where you will show everyone just what kind of person you truly are for good or bad. You're powerful, Nat, and no matter the outcome, I'll always love you because you're my daughter and I wouldn't trade you for any crown." Loki softly replied.
Smiling, Nat hugged her father in happiness as he decided to just teleport them home, taking a seat on the couch.
"Dad, can you tell me the story again?" Natasha asked, looking up.
"You're a little old for stories, don't you think?" Loki asked, chuckling as he knew what story she was talking about.
"I know, but I always feel relaxed when you tell it." Natasha replied.
"Hehehe. Alright, get comfortable, then I'll tell the story." Loki said.
"The story of our creation begins long ago when this world was young. Our ancestors were the weakest of all creatures on the planet forced to submerge underground for survival where there was little air and very little light and even less food but we had something no other creature on this planet had." Loki said as the background change to a shadow holding a ball of light in between his hands.
"Magic." Natasha replied, smiling.
"Yes. Magic was a gift from the Light itself granted to the lowest of creatures, but it wasn't enough, our Light left us to fend for ourselves without any reason known to our ancestors or even ourselves today.
"Sounds Like The brothers." Said Salem.
We were forced from the Light and into the Darkness, barely able to get by. Going to the edge of extinction until they arrived." Loki said as the shadow changed to two female figures the one on the right holding a moon while the one on the left was holding a tree.
"The spirit of Nature and Darkness of our planet took pity upon us and offered a salvation within the Darkness of the underground, giving us food and a new form of Magic that would guide us to our future home." Loki said as the two woman held up a planet in the far distance.
"The Darkness will guide us to Paradiso for eternal salvation and safety, one day a Child of the Dark will arise and bring us home, so we never have to fear the underground again as we will frolic in the moonlight without worry of the numerous predators that plague our planet or the fury of the Light."
"It never happened." Said Ozma.
Loki finished as the background change back to normal.
"I just love that story. It makes me feel comfortable and safe every time I hear it." Natasha replied.
"I'm glad, now you go get cleaned up while I make dinner. We are having beetlesnubs for dinner." Loki replied, knowing it's his daughter's favorite.
2 and a half years later on Earth.
In modern day Japan
The Izumo-Taisha shrine.
It has been nearly 3 years since the attack on Atlantis which means it will be time for the true competition to be the King or Queen on the homeworld in two days, marking the three year anniversary.
Walking through the forgotten temple, the viewers see Merlin had started to grow his beard a lot more, wearing the same outfit Charmcaster would see in the future as well as Thorin wearing a shabby, black, sleeveless tunic with studded edges, a studded belt around his waist, loose, beige pants tucked inside studded black boots, and a pair of studded brown gloves paired with similarly studded wristbands. He also sports a distinctive wing-like ornament, seemingly made of feathers, jutting upwards, over his right shoulder, attached to his tunic by a large stud.
"It's been quite an adventure, brat." Merlin said.
"It sure has, Pervy Sage. Still can't believe it's nearly been 3 years since you started teaching me." Thorin replied.
"I'm surprised you learned everything so quickly, the only Element of Magic I could teach you was Darkness as was Magic's orders, but I'm still impressed you manage to learn seals and runes so easily." Merlin said, seriously impressed with his apprentice.
"They just speak to me rather easily." Thorin replied, wondering why that is before he looked up towards the stars again like he has all year.
"You feel something out there, don't you?" Merlin asked, turning serious.
"Yes. I don't know why, but I feel this constant call and I need to go see what it is." Thorin explained.
"Then this is where we part ways, my apprentice." Merlin replied.
Looking towards his teacher and second father figure Thorin was surprised to hear him say that as he thought the original plan was to wait until two days from now to head to Anodyne and either become king or not.
"it appears destiny has a plan for you and you cannot stay here and let it pass. You must seek out the source of this feeling." Said Merlin.
"Destiny always comes." Said Kirby.
Nodding his head, Thorin shed his skin and flew off into space, leaving his master behind in the shrine who smiled sadly as he already missed his surrogate son as the scene shifted to Minerva looking up at Light who had her eyes close, holding her fingers together in her throne.
"I want you to repeat what you just said to me. Because I must be mistaken about what you just said." Light said.
"I said I should study dark magic, so I can understand how they think to better defeat them." Minerva repeated.
Eyes snapping open, Light brightened the room even more, so destroying her throne in a blast of power, sending Minerva flying backwards during the explosion of power.
"This is because of that Dark user isn't?!" Light demanded, showing a extremely rare sight of emotion.
"Mother I-" Minerva tried until several chains pulled her towards the ground in a kneeling position.
"can explain why you think you could sneak out without me noticing" you can't hide anything within this realm Minerva. I see and hear all and that does include your thoughts." Said Light ignoring how the young girls eyes widen.
"I allowed you to continue to leave this realm, so you could learn new forms of Light Magic from Magic's Champion despite his tendencies and the fact he has chosen to apprentice to Darkness's child. I allowed you to think you fooled me. But with the real reason you asked to study the dark arts is crossing the line in every way." Light explained.
"He is different. Yes, all the time I sense within him was short, but I cannot help how I feel!" Minerva shouted.
"Emotions are useless. Besides he's the son of our enemy. His fate was sealed, he'll fall to corruption and there's no return from the Darkness." Light explained simply.
"Our enemy or yours?" Minerva replied.
Closing her eyes again, Light took a seat on her new throne, releasing the chains, so Minerva could take a seat next to her as it was created just in time for a window to appear, showing Thorin landing on Anodyne, feeling the pull towards his destiny like never before.
Looking around, Thorin oddly enough felt at home at the mostly desert planet even if it had little to no signs of real life on it almost as if the people where hiding, waiting for the day someone would come to change all that.
Walking towards the strongest source of the feeling, Thorin started to become real concerned about the many weapons and the feeling of his people being long since dead in this area, feeling all the hatred and anger towards a single individual before he found a camp inhabited by a lot of women all doing various things, but they all had magic inhibitors on their wrists, preventing them from doing any form of magic, essentially trapping them in their own bodies.
" those inhibitors aren't fun. Trust me on that." Said Verdona.
Drawing all eyes, all the girls just looked at him with dead eyes, having long since given up hope for any chance of escape or rescue especially with their cruel tormentor currently with his newest girl inside his tent, breaking her spirit and any hope of freedom.
'Dad's a scientist, he could get these things off them.' Thorin thought.
Gently going inside, Thorin approached a girl to try and talk to her, but she just flinched and pulled back away from the man in clear fear of him.
Opening his mouth to comment, Thorin was cut off by a blast of lightning, sending him flying towards Lucy's tent who barely moved out of the way in time, having felt the attack.
"Step away from my Property..." Madura growled.
"We're not your property, Madura. You may have broken their spirits, but the prophecy is about to be fulfilled!" Lucy cried, only to be blasted by lightning again.
Getting angry at the attack on the girl, Thorin blasted Madura with a bolt of dark lightning, hitting Madura backwards into his tent, destroying it completely, much to everyone's shock.
Getting up, everyone watched as a shimmering affect appeared around Madura who looked in both awe and fear at the moment before the shimmer completely disappeared.
'Only a child of mine could break the invulnerability ritual, nothing could hurt me until now...'
"He is Or was dangerous." Said Verdona.
Madura mumbled, realizing exactly who this is.
"So, you're my Son, I thought for sure Ann would've kept you from me a lot longer." Madura said, shocking Thorin.
"You're my Dad?" Thorin asked, shocked to finally meet his father.
Mentally smiling sinisterly, Madura came up with a plan on the spot to avoid his fate all together.
"Yes. Now come, my boy, why don't I show you around our planet." Madura explained, walking over towards his son and placed a hand over his shoulder.
Walking through the camp, Thorin became concerned when he saw all the girls were glaring at him the same way Merlin would usually get, making him very, very concerned about what is going on.
"Madura, was it? Could you explain how come you were never there for my mom?" Thorin asked.
"*Sigh* I loved Annie. I truly did, but I also love all my girls here, she tried to make me chose between all my girls and her. Well, you can see my choice." Madura explained, sounding very sincere almost as if he believed his own lie, but there was one thing that set off a red flag for his son.
According to Durin, Ann was a very sweet woman and it took a lot to set her off, considering she had the patience of a saint and practically nothing could make him mad except for one thing when she was alive.
Ann absolutely despise the name Annie, that one name sets her off faster than anything else ever did as Durin learn the hard way when he had his junk kicked by a pissed off Anodite.
"And, why where you shocking that girl in there?" Thorin asked.
"She was an Assassin. I've made many enemies before you were born and would do absolutely anything to kill me and by extension you." Madura explained.
Keeping a neutral expression, but was actually screaming in anger inside his head, Thorin knew this was not someone to be trusted, even if he's a very good liar.
"Alright, but just answer me one question. Why are all your girls all have Mana suppressors?" Thorin asked, stepping away from his father, giving him distance to fight if necessary.
"Ohh now he is trapped." Said Bullet.
'He can see through the illusions?!' Madura thought, finding himself in a corner.
Realizing there was no way out of the situation, the conqueror starts by firing bolts of lightning, however, they didn't hit home as his opponent teleported out of the way and reappeared behind him. Thorin landed some magic-charged punches and kicks on the Conquer, even rebounding him off the wall and knocking him in the air with a diving stomp.
"EAT THE FLAMES OF STAR KILLER!" Madura cried, after recovering in midair.
No sooner he said that, the green flames erupt from the circle and engulfed Thorin entirely. Madura laughs, confident with gaining the upper hand.
Thorin vanishes into a black bolt of lightning, taking the flames with him, only to reappear intact without a burn.
Thorin charges more magic, giving off a startling, radiant effect. And once he raised his arms, pillars were rapidly rising up from the ground in great numbers. Madura outsped and dodged the attacking spires before opening a portal to get behind Thorin. The conqueror begins to channel magic of his own and as Thorin raises a fist just as the two teleported to a random world over a beach.
Then they clashed again with Madura grasping ahold of his adversary, attempting to smash into the beach cliff. But again, they were teleported. This time, they were both in the deep sea. Thorin regains his awareness and bursts out of the waves, reciting an incantation, causing the waves to crash at the screen leading to a desert.
" I hate teleporters." Declared Rex.
Getting annoyed, Thorin charges in a knee strike and again they exit the scene and into Atlantis right in Leia's bar where Artemis was talking to Leia.
Seeing her friend fighting some Anodite, Artemis pulled out a sword and shield then charged just as Thorin was knocked back by a hammer Madura created.
Sing the new threat Madura charge towards Artimes at high speeds. Madura tries smacking the hammer downwards but Artimes flips over it and tries striking Madura with her sword and shield. Madura counters with The hammer and manages to smash Artemis's shield.
Madura, in response, channels lightning into his hammer that Artemis leaps over. She backflips when Madura tries striking her with the charged hammer.
She spins horizontally forward to send the Conquer backward and the two exchange multiple strikes and counters with their weapons. Madura tries striking forward once again, but Artimes blocks the blow with her arms.
Artimes pushes Madura back, kicks him, knees him in the air, and then lands a devastating kick that sends the Conquer into The school where coincidently Merlin was teaching a class about his travels.
Madura summons a massive tornado that engulfs the area, sending people flying before Merlin could react. Artimes flies straight inwards and leaps off of a stone monument piece before smashing some of the flying pavement. Madura swings his hammer forward and clashes with artimes arms with The hammer, sending the two backwards.
Artemis summons two blades and leaps high into the air. Madura tries shooting more lightning, but Artemis deflects the projectile with the sword to confront the Conqueror head on. Artemis's intense speed and dual weapons prove too much for Madura and send him backwards just as Thorin came back And hits him so hard, Madura went flying into the court yard.
Getting up, Madura watched as Thorin and Artemis floated down, ready for anything.
"Stand down, Father. I don't want to kill you, I really don't, but I will if I have to because you had been endangering so many innocent lives here." Thorin shouted.
Growling, Madura saw a group of school children being protected by Merlin who was ready for anything to defend from anything.
Moving forward with speeds unseen before, Madura tackled Thorin all the way to the bar where Leia held her daughter Robin,
"Little Robin Hood. She sure was a handful when she grew up." Said paradox.
in worry as her friend was forced on his back while his father created heat vision from his eyes, pointing directly at The two.
"If you love these people so much, you can mourn for them!" Madura shouted.
Smiling sadistically the conqueror started to aim the heat vision, turning his head slow to make the two afraid even more so as there was no place to run even when Thorin shouted and begged to stop it.
Getting desperate, Thorin teleported behind his father and snapped his neck, then crushing his head to a blood pulp in pieces, killing the man instantly before he had a chance to kill anyone else.
Holding his birth father in his arms, Thorin watched Madura's body evaporated, letting out a cry of anger, now truly being a orphan.
Closing the window, Light turned towards Minerva who did not know what to think of this as she never seen Thorin kill a real person before, sure she heard Artemis talk about the brutal ways she could kill Merlin when he peeped on them many times when they came to visit, but actually seeing a person get killed was another thing all together.
"Only dark users destroy or in this case killed without mercy. Whatever feelings you think you have of your so-called friendship, let it go, because there's only pain and misery for you." Light said, opening her eyes to show for the first time in Minerva's life an actual form of sympathy.
"I wonder what happened to make her think this way." Said Ying.
"Is there really no way to help him? He could become King and if that happens maybe I could become his advisor to teach him right from wrong." Minerva explained.
"There's only one way to truly purify the Darkness but it is very risky." Light explained.
"What do I have to do?" Minerva asked, determined to help her friend.
Getting up, Light led Minerva to a new part of the realm that she has never been to holding a single golden goblet in between two golden lion statues.
"This is the Chamber of the True Light. A power that controls the very element with no restriction." Light explained, awing Minerva.
"If you drink this, you'll have the true power of True Light at your fingertips and able to banish the Darkness from Thorin." Light explained.
Reaping to grab the goblet, Minerva was stopped by the lion statues coming to life protecting the golden goblet from any thieves.
"You cannot take the power so easily. In order to use the True Light, you must find complete and 100% Inner Peace. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but you're feeling conflicted as of this moment which is why the Lions will not allow you to take it." Light explained.
"I don't want to potentially kill him." Minerva admitted.
"The Light won't kill him, it will destroy his Darkness, but it won't kill." Light promised.
" she doesn't lie." Said Ying.
"But she doesn't tell the full truth Either." Said Ken.
Now at peace, the Lions stood down, letting her take the goblet drinking the pure crystal liquid, finding it taste like watermelon of all things.
Finishing the drink, Minerva quickly let out a gasp of pain as she dropped the goblet with her entire body turning from pink to gold before literally exploding in a explosion of light.
"This power is incredible." Minerva replied.
"This power shall follow you no matter what even into Death. To use it, you must always find complete peace within yourself." Light explained.
Smiling, Minerva started to feel very tired as she fell back wards completely asleep no longer able to withstand power completely exhausted.
Snapping her fingers, Light sent Minerva away to a bedroom knowing that she just tipped the Balance of Power.
Eyes snapping open, Darkness felt the balance of power tipping in the favor of the light feeling her power becoming weaker than normal knowing what must be done.
Summoning the sad Thorin, Darkness pulled him into a hug, rubbing his back softly to calm him down of his first kill.
"Thorin. I know this is hard for you at the moment, but I need to do something very important." Darkness explained, breaking the hug to summon her own goblet.
Not waiting for a response, Darkness poured the liquid down his throat, ignoring his struggle against it, coughing up the bubbling liquid.
"Mom, what the-" Thorin began before feeling incredibly angry as he literally exploded into Darkness.
Knowing what's coming, Darkness got ready as her son moved forward, punching her face into the wall of his house, then steps back and kicks her away, sandwiching between the wall and a pile of rubble and screams loudly in pure anger.
Darkness summons her staff and points it at Thorin, but he darts forward, lifts the staff up just before she fires, then punches her in the stomach and flings her towards Durin who came out to see what the commotion was about. Darkness stumbles forward as she is thrown. Suddenly, Thorin barrels straight into them, crashing through a wall before flinging them into a pile of wood, sending them scattering across the floor.
"You! Explain now!" Durin ordered in clear pain.
"My sister broke the Balance of Power, she must've exaggerated the truth to Minerva!" Darkness explained.
Getting up, Darkness managed to slam the staff into the ground, stopping Thorin's assault just before he managed to punch her face again until he managed to fall asleep.
"You didn't answer the question." Durin replied.
"My sister is trying to destroy his darkness which has a high possibility of killing him unless he has a way to counter that fact. While my sister is calm and peaceful, I'm angry and destructive which is why he now has this power." Darkness explained.
"He's been dangerously angry before not enough to where he wants to actually hurt you or me." Durin replied.
"That's What makes it worrying," Said Carol
"He should've been in control, maybe because he didn't drink it of his own will and the fact he just killed Madura has something to do with it." Darkness said.
"Please, whatever you do, don't drag him into your war. I lost one son and I do not wish to lose another." Durin replied.
"I'll have to teach him to fully control his powers. He'll have to sleep for 1000 years which will be one day for you which won't give us a lot of time to do this." Darkness explained, ignoring him until she was knocked to the side by Durin's tail.
Slamming his claws over her body, Durin roared loudly scaring off all creatures that were nearby, much to Darkness's surprise as he never once did something like this to her.
"I DON'T CARE IF YOU KILL ME, BUT YOU'LL NEVER DRAG MY SON INTO YOUR CHILDISH WAR WITH LIGHT! DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF WHEN LIGHT IS INVOLVED, SO DON'T YOU FOR ONE SECOND THINK YOU CAN BRING HIM INTO THIS!" Durin roared.
Slipping out of the shadows, Darkness appeared where her son was, taking him to her domain for the first time, but not before looking at Durin with a intense glare that promised pain.
"I'll allow that this once, Son of Thrain but if it happens again, you'll feel my curse to never reach your son in the afterlife." Darkness warned, leaving behind the growling Durin alone once again.
With that said, the scene shifted to War glaring at Artemis, standing in front of a dark room and in the middle of the room was a pedestal. On it was a large black goblet. The walls were decorated with bones and skeletons and dead bodies littered the floor. Each one seemed to be reaching for the goblet
"If you want that power, you'll have to beat me." War explained.
They both exchange blows of swords before War kicks Artemis to the floor. Artemis quickly gets up. The two pull out arrows and knives respectively firing it at each other until War ends up catching one arrow in his hand that he throws out. War laughs as she avoids his knives while firing her arrows. War leaps high into the air to avoid as his opponent follows suit and grips him between her legs. He escapes her grip and the two kick each other backwards.
"Time to stop holding back, take me seriously." Artemis stated.
" this must be when I failed the test." Said Julie.
Deciding to humor her, War pulls out a long spear which the steel blade adorns a golden embellishment in its center and is ornamented by a red decoration, reminiscent of ribbons which flow down and attaches to both sides of the pole wherein the ends releases a rocket-like blast which adds lift to the spear. The rear of the pole features a substantially thick golden stud with a flat silver surface.
This is the Weapon of War, a Symbol of Power that changes forms unlike other Symbols of Powers of Embodiments.
Raising his weapon, War charged faster that ever before stabbing Artemis in the Stomach, destroying her body instantly, much to her shock and awe.
"You've lost. You'll not have that power like your friends." War explained sternly.
Growling, Artemis tried to make a break for it only to be transported out of the realm in front of Durin who looked confused to see her.
Looking at his son's friend, Durin opened his mouth to ask what was going on as the scene shifted to Natasha in her home looking at her father who was coughing up a lung.
Placing a warm towel on Loki's head, Natasha hoped with all her heart he will be alright since this sickness has been going on for a month now, much to her worry.
Hearing someone enter the room, Natasha turned to see the doctor looking at her sadly with bad news towards her.
"I'm so sorry, Natasha, his poison sack in his tail has torn and his own poison is killing him. He's lucky he hasn't died yet." the doctor apologized.
"There has to be something you can do. I don't want to be alone." Natasha replied.
Pulling out his bag, the doctor handed the young woman a bottle with a single pill inside, much to her shock as she knows exactly what this is.
"The only thing I can offer is a way to end his suffering. Once torn, you cannot repair the sack." The doctor explained.
Walking away Natasha threw the bottle away and cried on her father's lap, refusing to let him go like this even when Loki stood up straight to look her in the eyes.
"Nat. I know this is hard on you, but please listen to me." Loki begged.
"Hush, dad. You can talk when you are all better." Natasha replied, in denial about this.
"Nat. We both know I won't live for much longer, so I need to talk to you now." Loki explained, coughing towards the end a bit.
"Nat. Your mom didn't leave you, she was killed shortly after you were a month old." Loki admitted much to Natasha's shock.
"But why'd you hide this from me? I deserved to know the truth." Natasha asked.
"You did deserve it, yes. But I couldn't bring myself to tell you what happened to Maria." Loki explained.
"Who killed her?!" Natasha demanded.
"A man named Madura,
"It always comes back to him." Said Kat.
an Anodite like her." Loki answered.
"I'll hunt him down and kill him! He deserves to die!" Natasha cried.
Grabbing her arm, Loki held her gently before she could make any rash decision.
"Natasha. Don't ever seek Revenge on him. He's not worth it, I don't want it and neither would Maria." Loki begged.
"But dad-" Natasha began before being cut off by her father.
"Promise me right here and now you Won't ever seek revenge!" Loki ordered.
Looking into his sad, desperate icy blue eyes, Natasha could only nod her head in promise to not seek it out, unable to find anyway to argue against it in anyway.
"Ok, Dad. I promise to never seek revenge." Natasha promised as he smiled.
"I love you, Natasha." Loki replied closing his eyes with a smile on his face, breathing his last breath, letting his letting his arm fall limp.
Laying her head at the foot of the Bed, Natasha cried hard at the pain of her loss as the scene shifted to Darkness laying her son on a bed in her realm to guarantee he will be ready for the contest in two days mortal time and to teach him control.
"You should listen to the Dragon, honey. He knows what he's talking about." A highly sophisticated and smooth voice added behind her.
"My favorite Grandfather." Said Ken.
Looking behind her, Darkness saw a Tall man with very long, straight Black hair, reaching down below his back, which is gathered near the end and tied in a small ponytail by a small band. Framing his face are two bangs, which reach down to his shoulders and then flow backwards with the rest of his hair. He possesses deep, slanted dark Yellow slited eyes like a Sith Lord, delicate facial features and a mildly prominent nose. Most of his upper face, aside from his eyes and forehead, is hidden by a Dark mask with golden edges, similar to those found in traditional Italian Commedia dell'arte, circling both of his eyes and covering the upper part of his nose, which adds to his theatrical appearance as he is wearing a very long, Dark vest with golden edges, reaching down to his knees and closed few inches above his waist on the front, something which leaves his legs free, over a white-colored shirt, with a prominent collar, whose corners are held in place by buttons, and mildly loose sleeves, ending in cuffs decorated by intricate motif Standing out on his chest is an extremely large, flimsy jabot, matching his shirt in color, which consists of three layers of cloth, each growing larger than the one above it, and is secured to his neck by its thinner part, passing below his shirt's collar. Covering his legs are a pair of mildly baggy, light-colored pleated pants, tucked inside light boots with large cuffs. His attire is completed by a large Dark hat, with a prominent brim curving upwards on the sides and golden edges, matching his vest and mask, which on its upper left side bears an long, white plumage, falling down from the rear part of the hat.
This is the Embodiment of Fear, the "Husband" of Darkness and "Father" to Death and Nightmare.
"That's Fear?!" Asked Yang.
"He has style." Said Sparta.
"Wait, that's Fear? He doesn't look anything at all of what I'd imagine." Tai asked, baffled.
"It's the mask." Ben explained, confusing everyone.
"The Mask is what stabilizes his forms. Mortals can't look at him without going insane like Nightmare with his Glasses." Ash explained.
"He's lucky to be alive for that, dear. If I didn't have to deal with Thorin, I would've made good on my threat." Darkness said.
"That sounds like a horrible threat." Said Raven.
"He only worries for his son. You did force that power upon him, now the Darkness shall always follow him where ever he goes." Fear explained.
"I'll make sure he won't be consumed by it. I'll alter the way to access it." Darkness replied.
"And then what? Will you drag him into your War with Light? Will you make him fight his friend?!" Fear asked, who's eyes were glowing a fearsome color of Yellow like the Yellow Lanterns or Sinestro Corps.
"He is the source of There power." Said Mary.
"She's only using him to learn from Merlin to find a weakness. She'll get him to lower his guard and kill him." Darkness replied coldly.
"Are you sure you're not confusing her with Light?" Fear asked.
"What difference does that make? All Light users wish to destroy Dark users." Darkness asked.
"That's not always true, Look at the Nephlims. A combination of both Angel and Demon." Fear explained, causing Darkness to scowl at the mention of the third race.
"The Light and Dark are not meant to be together." Darkness replied.
"Are you aware Thorin has asked Minerva out twice using Merlin's advice?" Fear asked.
"I ordered Merlin to make sure those two never got together if he could help it. War's daughter, I approve of, but not Light's." Darkness replied.
"And, what will you do if they get together? Light would no doubt ignore Minerva's existence, but what about you?" Fear asked.
"That won't happen." Darkness replied.
"And, if it does, what will you do?! You did not give Thorin that power to even the playing filed! You gave it to him, so he could do the same to Minerva! So tell me what will you do if he loves her!" Fear shouted.
"They are just trying to destroy both of us." Said Ben
"HE DOES NOT LOVE HER! HE CANNOT LOVE A LIGHT USER!" Darkness shouted.
"Love tells me otherwise. They both love each other, even if the other doesn't know it." Fear explained.
"His soul is unique. He could be with literally anyone without problem." Darkness argued.
"What does that mean?" Laura asked.
"I would like to know that to." Said Ben.
"The original intention for my creation was to be a friend to Death because everyone and I do mean everyone fears her on some level, but I was created to be the opposite." Ben explained.
"So you're saying your soul was created for only one purpose?" Rex asked.
"Pretty much, but I got by sheer coincidence born as Thorin." Ben explained, laughing at the sheer coincidence.
"But what did he mean?" Yu asked.
"Every soul has a matching pair, a missing piece of the puzzle you could say, but my soul was made differently, so my soul always alters to fit every piece of someone. It's why our past lives have always been trying to find each other." Ben explained.
"That's actually quite a cool trick." Said Tai
"I know that and he loves Minerva, are you going to stand in his way of that love?" Fear asked.
Growling, Darkness turned her back towards him to look at her son who was still sleeping without a care in the world, looking completely defenseless at the moment, softening her heart.
'I may not like your choice, but nothing will stop me from loving you my son.' Darkness thought softly.
With that thought, the scene shifted to Natasha wearing the same outfit she will wear when Helen meets her, standing at the mouth of a cave with several of her peers all bowing before their king who was pale blue-skinned, very massive and heavily muscular man, possessing an extremely well-built torso, and matching arms. His legs, however, are normal in size, and, therefore look quite minuscule when compared to his massive body. his eyes are shown to have white irises. He possesses an elongated, almost rectangular face, with his linear eyebrows being placed diagonally at his eyes' outer sides, pointing upwards; he sports a slight grimace. His massive shoulders and biceps are adorned by large dark tattoos, with each arm bearing a circle flanked by a pair of slender objects, reminiscent of both wings and elongated leaves and he his clothing only consists of a light, striped pair of pants, with a large, fur-rimmed, tiger-patterned cloth secured around his waist by a plain light band.
This is King Cyrus, Loki's brother and Natasha's uncle.
"Today is the day all of you for the first time leave the safety of the underground and venture to the surface world for the first time." Cyrus announced, bringing cheers from the citizens.
"Just remember the Darkness cannot protect you up there and many predators will eat you if you're not careful." Cyrus added.
Moving out of the way, Cyrus allowed everyone to run out of the underground only stopping to grab Natasha's shoulder who jumped at the action of her uncle.
"Walk with me on the surface. I have a important task for you." Cyrus ordered.
Nervously following her uncle, Natasha walked behind her king, ready to run if he tries anything, remembering the stories of his violent anger when things don't go his way.
"There is always someone like that." Said Max.
"Now that Loki is dead, I have a task for you that none have ever succeeded in before, find Paradiso, fail, and you'll be banished." Cyrus explained bluntly.
"You're just using his death to get rid of me! You never liked me!" Natasha cried, earning a stinger that nearly pierced her neck, stopping short of one inch.
"The alternative is Death." Cyrus explained.
Knowing there was no alternative, Natasha nodded her head in agreement to his task, letting him remove the stinger with a smug satisfied grin on his face.
"You have 40 hours from now to leave, I don't expect you to succeed, so explore the planet while you still can." Cyrus explained, walking away.
'40 hours?! That bastard has only given me 1 entire day to leave!' Natasha thought.
"But there are only 24 hours in the world." Said Ruby.
"On Remnant Yes. But not in all worlds." Said Azmuth
Getting angry, Natasha turned herself invisible to go home and get ready to leave now, no longer wanting to explore the surface for the first time anymore because she has just been unofficially banished.
'On the bright side, if I somehow find it, I can live there without them.' Natasha thought.
With that said, the camera shifts to Thorin waking up to Darkness looking at him with Fear, both of whom had been arguing the entire time for a full thousand year straight which in itself was impressive.
"Augggghhh... Hey, old man, what are you two arguing about?" Thorin asked casually as he has seen Fear many times.
"Darkness is being stubborn when it comes to the Light, Thorin. Now I should go, I'm having something made if you become King." Fear explained, leaving.
Slowly getting up, Thorin struggled to stand, feeling very weak for some reason as he could barley move.
"Sorry about that, Thorin. You shouldn't of had to go through that and I'm sorry Magic has sped up the timetable because of this, so you're going to have to go to Anodyne now." Darkness said.
Using her shadows, Darkness send her son to Anodyne where he stood in front of the now freed Lucy in a round pavilion with a ring of white columns the size of redwoods supporting a domed, gilded ceiling. There is a marble floor that is etched with many colorful mosaics and inscriptions: prophecies, memorials, and dire warnings. The height of the gold ceiling is above 60 feet. The temple is open so that the wind can get in. In the center of the temple, there is a marble altar and a statue of magic holding the torch and several other different Anodites all glaring at one another, each having a different order of a certain type of magic.
"You look like you could use a nap." Artemis said, hugging him from behind wearing her main armor.
"His powers feel even darker than ever before. It appears Mother was right after all." Minerva added, a lot colder than ever before.
"Oh here we go." Said Ying.
Smiling, Thorin tried to give her a hug only to be blasted backwards by Minerva, sending him into the statue next to Lucy who glared at him with nothing but hatred and anger towards him like he was the most disgusting piece of Anodite Filth to ever grace her presence.
Before any fights could break out, Magic appeared over the statue stoping a fight before it can break out amongst the combatants bringing them all to a state of awe as there goddess was amongst them.
"Today is the day I chose a King or Queen and to make sure no one cheats, I've requested that Luck send a Crow to make sure you don't use any luck enchanting powers or equipment." Magic explained as a crow landed on the statue.
"Hehehe. I look forward to dealing with cheaters." To everyone's surprise was the voice of Nemesis explained.
Everyone turned to Nemesis who chuckled, completely amused by the attention she is getting as she fly down and changed into a busty young woman with shoulder length black haired woman, purple eyes under a pair of black sunglasses. She is seen in a sexy black leather biker suit that exposes her cleavage, her shoulders, her backside and her butt, black boots that go up to her calves, a small cross necklace around her neck.
'Dam she's hot!' Thought most of the guys.
"Hehehe. Yeah, I was there, frankly I'm surprised you nimrods didn't say anything sooner." Nemesis said.
"That's mean to say!" Kirby cried.
"Kid, I'm mean, I'm like that Handsome bad luck charm you call an uncle, the only differences I enjoy what I am." Nemesis explained, making Aquarius teaching at school miles away feel like strangling a crow for some reason.
"Sorry But He is mine." Said Aqua.
"Oh please, We could do things you couldn't even possibly dream of." Said Nemesis.
"Like what?" Asked Pisces.
"well he is a bird I'm a bird. I am sure you all can imagine where I'm going with this." Said Nemesis.
"Ugh, I swear all you ever think about is getting it on." Ash said, crossing her arms.
"Your one to talk, Cuz. You act like a high school girl in heat when your boy toy is around." Nemesis replied.
"Hush you! You should stop acting like a scarlet woman like these two!" Ash cried, indicating to the succubus sisters.
Rolling their eyes, everyone turned to the memory just as Magic was about to explain what the competition is to be King or Queen.
"There will be three challenges, First is to find the arena, the other is of Magic/Skill and one of Character. You don't have to pass the second thing, but the last one is most important of them all." Magic explained before leaving to allow Lucy to give a piece of advice if she has any.
"The arena is at the place of captured Slaves, my former prison." Lucy explained before trying to Thorin.
"I hope anyone besides you becomes King, Bastard Son of Madura." Lucy added, pointing at Thorin.
"She is one of those people." Mumbled Ben.
Thinking the Oracle placed some kind of curse on the dark user, everyone went off in different directions to find the arena using varying types of Magic to find it, hoping to get a leg up on the competition.
Confused and slightly angry at the comment, Thorin got up to talk to her when she teleported away, not trusting him to be anything but like Madura.
Wanting to help her friend, Artemis was stopped by a wall of magic, pushing them all away from the temple and separated them.
Deciding to take off, the two splinted up to cover more ground, not knowing Thorin knew exactly where to go.
"Girls, wait! I know where that is!" Thorin cried, stopping the two.
"So do I. I saw your fight with Madura." Minerva explained, leaving quickly much to Thorin's confusion.
Following the daughter of Light, the two became worried about Minerva as she was ignoring them completely without any regard for them.
Coming to the former camp, which was already occupied by a single female Anodite holding a compact device whose domed cover was made from pure lapis lazuli. The inside lid was detailed with a map of the stars, the central shadow vane made the compass work as a sundial, and the compass disk itself was sliced from a some kind of tusk.
"Circe." Yang growled, clearly pissed.
"So that's her, before she committed some kind of crime." Pisces commented, interested in her ancestor.
"She committed a crime so horrible, we don't speak of it. And, we aren't talking about trying to kill us." Helen explained.
"A crime that earned not only execution, but the Pantha."
"WHAT?!" Cried Verdona.
Hope added, shocking Ann with the words.
"What's the Pantha?" Kitty asked.
"Think of it like removing your ears and tail. It's where we lock an Anodite in a shell, so they can never be in their natural state again,
"That is horrible!" Declared Blake.
but we did something different." Julie explained.
"We made it so if she would regret her actions, she'd be free of the Pantha." Ben added.
"But what was the crime? It had to be something major for that." Sienna asked, narrowing her eyes at them.
"Officially, she tried to kill my Girls, but unofficial it is, because of the forgotten history of Anodyne that should never be revealed." Yang explained.
"Forgotten history doesn't stay that way forever, One Piece has shown that many times." Futaba pointed out.
"Actually, we erased the memories of the advents. Only we and we alone know what happened." Hope explained.
Opening her mouth to argue, Futaba was cut off by a portal opening up around them, revealing Koan returning from his training not only looking stronger, but feeling it as well.
"I know what happened. The spirits told me everything." Koan explained.
"Spirits?" Pisces asked.
"I went to Limbo, the border of Heaven and Hell, where the Temple of the Nephlims is located. The last place to find out why my kind went extinct." Koan explained.
" dangerous place for both angels and demons." Said Morrigan.
"You're going to tell everyone what happened, aren't you?" Ben asked, knowing it's coming.
"Yes. They'll know the truth." Koan replied.
With that said, the group turned towards the memory of Circe who smiled rather sweetly towards the three, looking genuinely happy to see her fellow Anodites.
"How did you get here before us?" Artemis asked.
"It's simple, I may be the daughter of Destruction, but I enjoy making things to aid me such as this compass." Circe explained, passing said compass to Thorin who looked it over finding ruins around the box.
"Hmm, it looks like you altered the alphabet to find not the poles but rather what you most desired, ingenious but the problem is that it can be canceled out by someone desperately trying to hide using a alternating self adjusting alphabet there a sequencing of Norse, Finite, and several others." Thorin explained.
"Which is why I have a set of runes inside the compass to adapt to their way of hiding, no one is going to hide from me: Circe, the greatest witchcrafter of the universe."
" now I'm starting to see the family resemblance." Said Spring.
Circe explained egotistically.
"Ingenious. But have you thought of adding a series of runes to compliment the design to insure that it can't be stolen or lost?" Thorin asked.
"To do that I have to redo the runic seals then I have to overpower the runes of which could overrun the design and destroy it." Circe explained.
"Not if you replace the crystal and alter the new runic alphabet by using a series of seals from my travels to China." Thorin replied, pulling out a scroll to show some of his work.
Looking towards each other, both Minerva and Artemis just shrugged, not understanding a single word they are saying feeling completely alienated from their friend for the first time as he just went back and forth with his talk.
Coming out with a scowl, Lucy glared at Thorin, hoping that he would somehow forget where to go as he just smiled talking to Destruction's child about new ways for a stupid compass of all things.
"There'll be a 1 hour wait. I hope that there's someone who can beat you, Madura's Son." Lucy said, sneering towards him.
Watching the Oracle walk away, Thorin started to unknowingly pull the shadows towards him, getting angry until he was blinded by a burst of light from Magic appearing, bringing the last two contestants to give a warning.
"The next person to use the true powers will be automatically disqualified from the tournament without a second chance." Magic warned.
Glaring at him, everyone besides Artemis was now against Thorin for taking away the trump card for those who actually had the powers.
"How many of them have it?" Asked summer.
"Now that we're all here, I shall announce who is all fighting. Remember you can only use the powers of your caretakers, so no other powers." Magic explained.
Seeing everyone was ready, Magic created a Colosseum, placing the five combatants inside the stands away from each other.
"The first shall be Sage, the Son of Mother Nature and Circe, Daughter of Destruction." Magic announced.
Jumping down, Circe was met by a green Anodite who growled towards her with a glare like a Wild Animal to its prey, interested in devouring her whole.
At the count of three the two begin there fight with Sage creating trees that attack Circe with their limbs which got destroyed by a blast of Fire, turning them into ash which was then blown into her face by a gust of wind and then punched by a Stone Gollum.
Getting up, the young destroyer runs and dodges until she destroys the Gollum before altering the earth at Sage's feet to form spikes at her opponent. Sage dodges it and leaps back towards a hole, where he summons and blast water towards Circe.
Circe creates a barrier to redirect the water at Sage, who turns the water into mist to surround the arena. Sage struggles to find his opponent and starts feeling for her by connecting to the planet itself not finding her.
"Come out, Prey, Nature always Wins." Sage said, sounding more like a beast than a man.
"He is like swamp thing." Said Rex.
Smirking, Circe reveled herself behind him with two swords around his neck, preventing him from moving without getting killed, much to his shock.
"Then consider me the Alpha Predator." Circe replied darkly, ready to end him before Magic put them into their seats.
"Artimes, the Daughter of War vs Thorin, the Son of Darkness. Minerva, the Daughter of Light, shall fight the victor." Magic announced.
Jumping down, the two nodded towards each other, silently promising each other to do their best and not let their friendship get in the way which only lasted for a second as Artemis leapt towards Thorin, turning invisible and nearly stabbing him in the chest.
Thorin quickly leaps out of the way as Artemis slices at him and throws three Mana disk at the woman. Artemis takes out a smaller blade from her dimension space and deflects them. The Son of Darkness lands on the ground and can't seem to find his opponent not hearing anything for a bit.
Artemis lunges straight at Thorin once more, with the Man only able to dodge the attack thanks to hearing the Blade and starts running forward trying to find a way to escape.
Artemis charges up her blade to launch a Sword Beam, revealing herself in the process. Thorin is barely able to avoid the attack and stumbles, giving the nimble Artemis a wide opening.
The swordswoman seemingly ends the fight early by stabbing Thorin in the back, but the dark user disappears in his shadow, leaving behind a dark bomb, forcing Artemis to leap back, taking the burnt of the damage.
"Good trick." Said tagger.
Appearing behind her, Thorin held a Dark Bomb in his hand, pushing it into her back, destroying her armor, forcing her to go all Anodite into the air only to be met with another Dark bomb right to the face which was only stopped because he didn't want to kill her.
Smiling, Artemis stood down, much to her friend's gratefulness, not wanting to hurt her if he can help it.
"Now, it's Minerva, the Daughter of Light vs Thorin, the Son of Darkness. I wish you both well and remember, no true powers." Magic said.
Landing down in the arena, Thorin smiled warmly as he watched Minerva touchdown with grace only to be met with a dark glare, much to his continued confusion as he was being nothing but kind and honest towards her this entire time.
"Good luck, Minerva." Thorin said receiving silence in return.
BGM start - The Last Agni Kai
"This music always brings out something." Said Kevin.
Taking a deep breath, Minerva created a miniature sun to illuminate the area, providing a source of light as she blasted her future husband who smashed the ground, creating a ball of shadows, defending himself before disappearing into the ground.
Flying into the air, Minerva narrowly avoided being pulled into her own shadow only to be met with a punch to the face by Demise being summoned in the air, sending her back to the ground where Thorin charged a dark bomb, wanting to end this fight quickly only for the Sun to come alive and blast them with enough solar radiation to overfeed Godzilla himself.
Staring blankly, Minerva created a small ball in her hand and pushed all the power towards Thorin, completely coating him in light which was slowly destroying him inside out not that she was aware of this before Demise reappeared and stabbed her in the back with his sword, giving Thorin the time to retaliate by pulling out his scroll.
"DEATH'S GRASP!" Thorin cried.
With that said, the scroll glowed before disintegrating as Skeleton hands reached out from the ground, creating a full skeleton army that charged Minerva, aiming to hold her down.
Breaking the Sword and banished Demise, Minerva barely avoided a skeleton grabbing her leg, much to the skeleton's annoyance before they all started to literally pull themselves apart and merge into one giant skeleton that charged towards her which was blasted to pieces in seconds.
Minerva tries punching with light surrounding her fist, but Thorin headbutts the arm and knees his opponent back. As Minerva recovers, Thorin leaps upward and tries dive kicking downwards, but Minerva grabs both of his legs and uses her powers to toss him into the wall, where he quickly recovers.
Taking a deep breath, the two blasted each other with their respective elements, pushing them back with Thorin gaining the upper hand, nearly knocking Minerva out cold.
BGM end.
Teleporting under her, Thorin lifted Minerva bridal style and flew to Magic who just raised a bored passive eyebrow, curious on what he is up to.
"Please, stop making us fight. I don't want to hurt anyone especially my friends." Thorin stated.
"And, if I name you King what would you do to her? It's no secret Light hates you and Darkness hates her. It seems to be suddenly the same thing with her at the moment, so how is she your friend?" Magic asked.
"If she hates me that's fine, but it doesn't mean we can't stop being friends.
"that's exactly what it means." Said Gwen.
I mean who else is going to help me care for my pets like Timmy?" Thorin asked.
"Didn't he get stuck in a well?" Magic asked.
"He wasn't a very smart cat." Thorin admitted, chuckling.
"Regardless, what if she tries to kill you? Will she still be your friend?" Magic asked.
"Shes Minerva, not Light. I've known Minerva for three years and not once has she ever tried to kill me, I won't accept her trying to kill me because I know her well enough to know that she'd never intentionally fight her friend because that's what she is." Thorin said.
Starring at him, Magic detected no lies in his voice before using her control to connect to her creations in order to truly connect with their character to find out who is worthy and who is not.
Sage, while understanding of Animals, is far too wild and unfocused, acting more like an animal then a man becoming rather simple minded and doesn't adapt well to unexpected surprises.
"He is an animal." Said Salem.
Circe, while creative in her Creations, is rather far too Power hungry and would sacrifice everything just so she could live and gain power for herself and is egocentric, believing she is above everyone when angered.
"A dangerous Way of thinking." Said Ozma.
Artemis, while Honorable, doesn't know when to quit and run away, always rushing in headfirst with little regard for strategy preferring to do things alone.
Minerva has all the Qualifications for a good queen being Graceful, Patient, calculative, but she is also somewhat narrow minded believing like Light, to suppress emotions to accomplish a task easily.
Thorin is very different from how she imagine he turned out.
He is cheerful, energetic, big hearted, always looking for the best in people, making friends wherever he goes, a excellent leader, a opened minded individual even if he is a little bit dense when it comes to Social aspects of life,
"Asking if it was my time proved that." Said Salem.
" thankfully I am much smarter than him." Said Ken.
"with a few exceptions you're the smartest person in the room." Said Ying.
he maybe naïve a bit, but that never seems to stop him from doing what's right.
"I've decided on who shall rule my people." Magic announced.
Summoning all of her people, all Anodites on the planet Anodyne looked up in awe at their creator as this was the first time in 20,000 years that she had appeared since Lucy was born, much to their joy to all eyes on their goddess.
"My creations. Today, I've chosen your new leader to ruler for the betterment of Anodite Kind." Magic spoke, bringing cheers to her people.
"As you may not know, I've gifted 5 Children to the 5 main uses for Magic: Light, Darkness, War, Mother Nature, and Destruction. To see which path of life would be the best leader and the results were shocking to say the least." Magic explained.
"I present your new King. Thorin: Son of Darkness and Durin the Dragon!" Magic announced, shocking everyone at the sound of a Freaking Dragon raising one of their own kind.
With that said, a Crown appeared over Thorin's head, announcing him King of all his people who all cheered in response of his coronation.
"My People, I may have been just named king, but I swear I'll find a way to bring peace wherever I go and find a way to end Mana overload." Thorin swored, receiving cheers from the crowd.
Smiling, Thorin turned to the other contestants to see Artemis smiling At his success, Lucy was looking murderers, Sage looking impassive More bored than anything, Circe looking happy for him but her eyes sang with jealousy, but Minerva didn't even look at him as she started to fly away.
"Oh I see what's happing." Said Weiss.
Flying after her, Thorin followed her all the way to the sun before she stopped to look at him with a sad look on her face.
"Min, what's wrong? You've been colder than ever before. Please talk to me." Thorin asked.
"I cannot. Mother has shown me the truth before and after you got the power. You've fallen when you lost control." Minerva replied coldly.
"I admit I didn't have control, but you know I'm different. I never lost control before that." Thorin said.
"It doesn't matter now. I can't be your-" Minerva began before she was silenced by Thorin pulling her into a hug.
"Min. I won't EVER let you go, I feel complete with you and nothing will stop me from being with you." Thorin explained.
"Thorin... Do you love me?" Minerva asked.
"I think I do." Thorin admitted.
Smiling, Thorin and Minerva kissed each other in a wave of passion, sealing their love for each other in a single act of love towards each other.
Breaking the Kiss, the two looked each other in the eye before the Sun let out a explosion that separated the two apart, severely injuring Thorin in the process.
Looking towards the Sun, Minerva saw to her horror was Light herself holding Roaring Lion, looking absolutely murderous towards both of them as power from the Sun burst from the proximity of its creator, spawning several Angels.
"Mother, I-" Minerva began only to be silenced by a lightning bolt, hitting Light from behind her, forcing her to scream in pain.
Looking towards the moon, Minerva watched as Darkness stepped out towards them, glaring at her sister alongside Death who worked to ironically keep her brother alive while the Moon spawned several Demons due to its creator after bursting from proximity, causing Light to suffer in pain with screams.
"What have you done!?" Darkness demanded angrily.
"I've done what I please, Sister. Your child may have been corrupted, but I shall not allow mine to be!" Light explained.
"What you are doing is breaking the agreement we had!" Darkness shouted.
"Do not lecture me! I'm doing what needs to be done!" Light shouted as the Angels prepared for battle along with the Demons.
"This goes against the rules we agreed upon!" Darkness shouted.
"Rules that I now see are in your favor. Minerva has somehow clearly been compromised by your powers!" Light said.
"Powers I only gave my son because you tipped the Balance of Power!"
"Hmmm. It seems history is mirroring itself in more ways than one." Said Salem.
"We noticed Witch." Said Raven.
Darkness shouted, slowly powering up.
"I've had enough of this. Come Minerva, We must go." Light replied, turning around to fly away but was stopped by the next words.
"No..." Minerva replied coldly and in anger.
Turning around, Light was shocked to hear Minerva talk like that as she never once disobeyed her without Ann saying it's ok to do so.
"Minerva, we can talk about this later. It's time to go." Light replied.
"I said no! You've been controlling my life for 20,000 years now! I love Thorin because he is the opposite of what you say he is! Now if you cannot accept that, then get lost!" Minerva screamed, much to her own shock.
"I don't know where this attitude come from, but it stops now." Light replied.
"NO! IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THAT I LOVE HIM, THEN I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Minerva shouted.
Growling, Light turned her back and teleported away, taking everything with her, officially turning her back on Minerva without a second thought at all.
Minerva flew over to Thorin who struggled to stay awake as Death worked on him as she quickly started to help out, healing her new king who just smiled towards her.
"You didn't have to do that." Thorin said, causing her to smile.
"But I wanted to." Minerva replied.
"So, what does this mean now?" Thorin asked.
"We could get married." Minerva explained, confusing Thorin.
"Okay, but what does married mean?" Thorin asked, much to their amusement.
" an idiot through and through." Said Daphne.
1 week later.
It has been one week since his coronation and everyone on the planet was still celebrating his new kingship and much to Durin's amusement as many of the ladies of the planet offered themselves to him to be his queen, not that he understood half of the things they are implying before Minerva sent them away, so they could plan their wedding.
Yes, it seems everyone was happy except for one person: Lucy, The Oracle.
Whenever Thorin comes around, she sneers in disgust or spits on the ground he is walking on like he is lower than trash in her eyes.
Speaking of which right now, Thorin is going to the Oracle's temple to talk to her about moving the temple to the castle for better access for all passing by a few people who bowed, much to his annoyance as he was just a normal guy.
"You don't have to bow down, I'm just a normal guy." Thorin said only to be met with a humorless laugh.
Looking towards the temple, Thorin saw Lucy glaring at him with her usual hate which was really starting to bug him more and more.
"Leave us. We need to talk in private." Thorin ordered.
After the people fly away, Lucy turns to walk away from the king only to be stopped by him, grabbing her arm, receiving a punch to the face which did nothing to him other than causing him to growl as he has pain immunity due to the tolerance and suppression built up from Durin's tail smashing his head.
" and yet it still hurts no matter what happens." Said Marry.
"What's your problem with me? Are you mad that I wasn't able to personally remove the pain suppressors? If so, I'm sorry." Thorin asked.
"She doesn't care." Said Linne.
"You're Madura's Son. You both use dark magic, you both rule a large group of people, you both are easy to anger. You're exactly like him and the only difference is Magic gave you the power to rule us all, the only difference is that I know what you are." Lucy explained.
"Then, tell me what he was like? I never even heard of Madura until I met the guy." Thorin asked.
"Doesn't matter. You'll just treat me like him, and all the others that came before him. To you people, Oracles are just tools to help you for your own greedy purposes, all that I am to you is just a useful object that you'll put away the moment you have no use for me, I'll just sit away collecting dust until I'm needed." Lucy explained, showing her somewhat narrow minded but somewhat justified mindset.
"I'm not like that." Thorin explained.
"You say you aren't, but like everyone else you'll come to me seeking the help of my curse." Lucy replied.
"Curse?" Thorin asked, confused.
"I'm the Oracle. I was cursed at birth to foretell the future of everyone and everything around me except myself, from the moment my first vision arise, I was forced into a life of servitude, I cannot turn down anyone's pleads because my cursed compels me to obey and serve others, helping them gain their desires except for my own." Lucy explained angrily.
"That's actually pretty sad." Said Verdona.
"What is your greatest desire?" Thorin asked, hoping he can grant it to her, so maybe she would want to be a friend.
"The only way to be free of my curse is to die. Unfortunately, my curse prevents me from doing it myself, I'd give up everything including my magic to you get rid of the stupid curse!" Lucy explained, much to the viewer's shock.
Naturally shocked, Thorin could only stare into her eyes, finding pain and sorrow behind those eyes, wanting nothing more than to die to be free of her curse. Sure he has heard of people wanting to die from death, but to actually find someone was to him completely unnatural.
"Lucy. I'm sorry for my father's and many others actions, but I swear on my life and honor, I'll show you the beauty of living." Thorin assured.
"Like Father, like Son. Making promises you can't keep." Lucy replied, turning away with a sneer as she didn't believe him.
"My wedding isn't until the end of the week. If I haven't shown you the beauty of life by then, I'll grant you your wish." Thorin explained, stopping her.
"either my king is either fearless or an idiot." Said Verdona.
"He's both." Said Angela.
Turning around, Lucy was shocked to hear him say that so bluntly especially within Magic's own temple, not even afraid of the consequences of such an action.
"No tricks. I want this more than anything else." Lucy stated.
"1 week. I'll show you that Life is beautiful in that time." Thorin replied.
"Then lead the way." Lucy said.
Flying away, Thorin lead the Oracle to Paradiso while in a cave, Minerva was working on the preparations for their wedding as they wanted to do something big for all the people to see as Artemis helped out in her way which was usually turned down.
"Come on. You're telling me you don't want a bunch of knights to guard your wedding? The dragons have been getting restless ever since Thorin was named king." Artemis asked.
"No. First we don't have knights, even if we did, it'd just make people fearful and secondly, I want this to be perfect." Minerva explained.
"You And Many others." Said Yang.
"Well, then it's a good thing you got me then." Artemis replied.
"And me. War and Destruction go hand in hand after all." Circe added, coming into the room.
Turning towards her, the two ladies began to feel on edge about her, having a bad feeling about her that they can never seem to shake almost as if she was testing them for something.
"If any dragon comes, I'll use them for my craft." Circe explained darkly.
"I don't trust her." Said Raven.
"Just remember not to touch Durin, Thorin would raise Hell itself to find the one who did." Minerva warned.
"Personally, I think that lizard could be used for other such things. Dragon parts are highly resistant to magic." Circe replied, not noticing the narrowed eyes or simply didn't care.
"Why are you still here? I thought you would've been like Sage and disappear to help your parent's domain." Artemis asked suspiciously.
"Destruction doesn't tolerate failure, it's why I'm still here. It's also why there are more champions of Destruction than any other,
"Can you name a few?" Asked Ben.
"Let's see. There is Doomsday, King Ghidorah, Surtur, and many others." Said palutena.
but the same could be said about you." Circe replied, changing the subject.
"War has closed his domain. I don't know what's going on, but I don't much care." Artemis said, not having much of a relationship with her caretaker.
"Oh you must not know." Said Virvid.
"Know what?" Asked Julie.
"You will see." Said Carol.
"Mother has turned her back on me. I don't expect to see her again in this life." Minerva added bitterly.
"Oh well, you got a wedding to plan for and I got stuff to do. A ward stone is not going to make itself." Circe replied, walking away to plan.
Waiting until she was out of range from the cave, the two put up a barrier to keep her out of the cave, so they can better talk in private.
"I don't trust her. I got this bad feeling about her." Minerva said.
"Agreed. We should keep an eye on her to be safe." Artemis replied, narrowing her eyes towards the exit.
1 week later.
In one week, we see Thorin in Human form, standing outside in a large field with many of his People all watching with Magic herself at the altar since they are doing this the Earth Way at Minerva's request.
Magic nod towards Durin who smiled as he lifted his tail, revealing Minerva in her main outfit, much to Thorin's amazement as he watched her walk down the isle with Fear who with Darkness convincing to agree to participate in this after MUCH convincing from Thorin.
"I am surprised he succeeded." Said Pit.
Smiling, Thorin watched as his soon wife to be wife reached the altar with a small smile which grew huge at his sight.
"Friends. Today we come together in Holy Matrimony for the wedding of our King and Queen." Magic explained.
"Lord Thorin. Do you take Minerva as your wife, to cherish in friendship and love today, for as long as the two of you live, to trust and honor her, to love her faithfully, through the best and the worst, whatever may come, in Times of War and Times of Peace?" Magic asked.
"With all my heart, yes." Thorin replied, smiling.
"Lady Minerva. Do you take Thorin as your Husband, to cherish in Friendship and Love today, for as long as the two of you live, to trust and honor him, to love him faithfully, through the best and the worst, whatever may come, in Times of War and Times of Peace?" Magic asked.
"Nothing would make me happier." Minerva explained.
"Then by the power of me I name you both Husband and Wife." Magic explained.
Smiling, the two hugged each over, pulling one another into a kiss that felt like an eternal bliss towards each other, loving every second of this.
Once they are done, Magic raised her torch, releasing a single ember that touched the ground, glowing bright for all to see, creating a castle.
"My wedding gift to you both." Magic explained before leaving.
Smiling, the two went inside to commence their marriage when they saw Lucy already inside, waiting for Thorin with a blank look on her face.
"I want what you promised. You did your best and I want to die." Lucy said.
"No, you don't. You did, but I know what you truly want." Thorin explained.
"I want to be free from my curse. I'm compelled to answer any question and I cannot control it." Lucy explained.
"So she can only tell the truth. What a horrible thought." Said Ken.
"The worst part is he is a good liar. He hid the fact he was seeing Salem for years." Said Kat.
"Something I will remember." Said Raven glaring at the witch.
"Before my wedding, I Went to Merlin. I know how to control your curse, so YOU can chose to answer." Thorin explained.
"Impossible. That Pervert is wise but I doubt he's that wise, if he was, my visions would've told me how." Lucy replied, thinking he is just like his father.
"Ingóle blessed, láv- i erman knôn ilya learn túre." Thorin chanted.
Glowing, Lucy began to feel like a weight was lifted off her shoulder, much to her confusion.
"Tell me, Lucy. Tell me, do you want really want to die?" Thorin asked.
"I want to die." Lucy explained with her eyes going wide in shock.
'That's impossible! My curse makes me always answer any question honestly!' Lucy thought.
"The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination." Said Sparta.
"The blessing I just used grants anyone control of their curse so long as I'm strong enough to do it." Thorin explained, walking away with his wife.
Watching them walk away, Lucy started to cry. feeling for the first time in so long truly happy as no one on the entire planet has ever treated her like a normal person, only asking her questions for their own greed or desires.
"You could say she wants to Live." Said Ben.
Hope just smacks him for that.
1 year later.
It has been one year since the king and queen got married, bringing prosperity to the planet. Much has happened since that time with Artemis becoming the First General who immediately started to train an army to prepare for war just in case while Lucy who found she wanted to, in fact, live with her new friends at the castle while much to Minerva's and Artemis's objection, Circe became Advisor as he always saw the best in people.
"What a mistake that was." Said Ying.
Sitting in his throne, bored out of his mind, Thorin waited for something anything to get him out of his boredom since Minerva was reading in her library, trying to figure out why they are having so much trouble having kids, Artemis was sparring with Demise, Lucy was being an oracle, Durin was sleeping in his cave and Circe was doing who knows what who knows where.
Thinking about taking a nap, Thorin was stopped by feeling something heading towards the Castle quickly, much to his interest as he felt no ill intentions at the moment.
Deciding to go greet this person, Thorin walked past the guards who tried to follow him which he ignored them coming across Natasha in her Anodite form that had a tail made from her mana, feeling Naked without it.
"You're not Pure Anodite, are you?" Thorin asked, earning a punch to the face from a pissed off Natasha.
"You had that coming." Said Azmuth.
"Muta nomou! I futa mounth no moo!" Natasha shouted, only for the guards to point their weapons at her.
"You only speak your native language? Also, I don't care if you're Part Anodite, but I ask that you don't punch me again." Thorin replied.
"Mantim, Tomunis argintim Humion Madura." Natasha replied.
"Hold on a moment, I cannot understand you, so follow me and we can fix that." Thorin stated.
Leading the way, Thorin walked to the library where Minerva was too focused on reading some books to notice her new guest or the grin on the king's face.
"*Breaths in* HEY, MIN!" Thorin shouted, scaring his wife for a moment.
"Hi." Thorin added at the glare he was getting.
"Hehehe. That was funny." Said Ruby.
"What do you need, Thor? And, what's with her?" Minerva asked.
"She doesn't speak our language and vice versa, so I wanted to see if you knew anything that could help." Thorin explained.
"Hmm... Let me see... Ah! Loumitum!" Minerva chanted, creating a momentary glow around Natasha, much to her confusion.
"Can you understand me now?" Thorin asked.
"Yes. Now, as I was saying, after you called me a half blood, Where's Madura? He killed my mother and I want payback." Natasha asked.
"My birth father is dead. I killed him a year ago." Thorin explained.
Hearing that this was the son of her mother's killer, Natasha tackled him to the ground and started to punch him in the face in pure anger, not thinking straight before she was pulled back by the guards again.
"You bastard! You killed him and now I'll kill you for robbing me of my Revenge!" Natasha shouted.
"Enough! Guards take her to a cell." Minerva ordered.
Doing as the Queen told them, the two guards dragged Natasha away, kicking and screaming loudly all the way down.
"She's up to something. She clearly doesn't want revenge, she wants something else." Thorin explained, confusing Minerva.
"And, what makes you say that? She attacked you twice now." Minerva asked.
"Just a feeling I got. I mean she doesn't seem to be a person who wants revenge, but rather want something else." Thorin explained confidentiality.
"Just don't do anything risky or stupid." Minerva replied.
"*Gasp* The Forbidden Words!" Cried Summer.
1 hour later in the throne room.
"YOU DID WHAT?!" Durin, Artemis, Lucy and Minerva shouted.
"What's the big deal? I just let her out and gave her a room in the castle for herself." Thorin asked, shrugging as he didn't see a problem.
"See what I mean?" Asked Summer.
Simultaneously facepalming the three girls and Dragon, could not understand the logic behind the king as Natasha watched just as baffled with the person she assaulted twice who just smiled sitting in his throne, checking his nails casually without much care in the world.
"Is this normal for him?" Natasha asked, confused.
"Pretty much, yes." Minerva explained.
"He's an idiot." Artemis answered bluntly.
"I hope you know what your up to." Lucy added.
"Hey, I always know what I'm doing. I mean name one time I did something stupid that didn't work out." Thorin replied.
"You tried Minerva's cooking during your trip with Merlin because you wanted to try food and thought it was a good idea if she cooked."
"HEY!" Cried Yang.
"Don't worry. Ken can't cook either." Said Ying.
Durin answered bluntly.
"Okay, bad example. I mean how was I supposed to know whatever she cooks becomes instantly terrible?" Thorin asked.
"Wow. Even in the first life, she was a bad cook." Samus commented.
"It wasn't all bad, I mean Ganon liked it." Ben explained, ignoring Zelda's frown at his name.
"How could a monster like him ever have friends? What happened between the two of you anyway? Shouldn't he have stayed on your side if he knew you were the incarnation of his friend?" Zelda asked.
"Apparently Not." Said Ben.
"Demise and Thorin had a bad falling out." Hope explained.
"How bad?" Dante asked.
"Bad enough that he went to Hyrule for the Triforce." Ben explained sadly.
"It's not terrible! You just don't like good cooking!" Yang cried, who was ignored.
"In hindsight, it was a bad idea." Thorin agreed.
Rolling their eyes, the four left the king to deal with his own mess he has created, trying to save themselves a headache.
"So tell me, Natasha. Where do you come from? Not a lot of people dedicate the time or mana to create their own tail." Thorin asked.
"I'm from Finitus, which makes me part Fintite." Natasha explained.
'So that's what she's after. Mother always said how her people are obsessed with finding Paradiso.' Thorin thought, coming up with a long-term plan quickly.
"I heard about their rather strange obsession with keeping to themselves and hating all other life." Thorin said.
"Let me guess: You hate the fact that I'm only part Anodite." Natasha growled.
"Oh no, I find you fascinating. I've never seen someone who's part Anodite before, you must be the coolest person I've ever met." Thorin explained, shocking Natasha.
"Not a lot of people like Hybrids." Said Kat
"But you figured out I wasn't pure Anodite. Shouldn't you hate me for not being here?" Natasha asked.
"I can't hate you for your heritage just as you can't hate me for what my birth father has done. It won't change anything." Thorin explained, getting up.
"Come. Let me show you around the castle." Thorin added.
6 years later.
Six years have gone by and Natasha has finally convinced him to take her to Paradiso, but when she got there, she was shocked to see what had happened to her people's dream.
Gone was the Paradise she had expected was now replaced with a dead lifeless planet that only the dead remains of the former life that crawled its face, soared its skies, climbed it's trees and swam in the oceans.
"It's all gone..." Natasha whispered, deathly quiet.
"I hate planets like that." Said Ying.
"There hasn't been life here since I became king. I no longer called this place home because I found a home with Minerva." Thorin explained.
Falling to her knees, Natasha could only stare at the lifeless ground in hopelessness as this was the only way she could have gone home to her planet, the only way she would have been accepted by her people all gone like the dust in the wind around her.
"I knew the entire time you were trying to find this place. I'm sorry you have to see it like this, but you deserve the truth." Thorin explained.
Getting up, Natasha started to look for something, Anything! But found only nothing but dust and bones that only made her heart feel heavy inside her chest.
"There really is nothing here." Natasha said, realizing the truth.
"I'm sorry. Just know that you'll always have a home in my castle." Thorin replied, disappearing to his home.
50 years later.
It has been a fifty years since Natasha was banished from her home planet by her uncle and she could not be more happy with the situation as she finally found a place to call home.
For all fifty years, Natasha felt truly happy with her friends in the Castle with each day making her happier than the last day.
Sitting in Minerva's Throne, Natasha was talking to Thorin about possible strategies to become allies with the dragons when Demise burst in to the room, looking urgent and almost afraid.
"Thorin! We have a problem!" Demise shouted.
"What's the problem?" Thorin asked.
"My father: Destroyer, was killed by the Nephlims! They're attacking both Heaven and Hell!"
"This must be the great extinction." Said Zelda.
Demise cried, shocking the two as well as the audience watching.
"Please don't ask any questions. That part of our past is difficult to think about." Ben stated, closing his eyes.
"Surely it can't be that bad. I mean you'll just talk things through." Pisces replied confidently.
"I wish that was the case." Said Ken.
"He didn't. He was tricked into joining the war." Koan explained.
"Please don't make us show this, that past deserves to stay forgotten." Yang pleaded, desperate to keep it hidden.
"You'll show it or I'll tell the truth because it's going to come out in the open." Koan stated.
Opening his mouth to comment, Thorin was cut off by a portal opening, revealing a man in a full body suit holding a spear, nearly killing Thorin if not for Demise appearing in front of the king, taking the blow which gave the guards the opportunity to kill the man.
Feeling the power in the spear, Thorin was shocked to feel the power of the Nephlim, making this an assassination, much to everyone's shock.
"It seems the demon proves he was telling the truth after all." Circe said, coming down the stairs.
"What will we do, Thorin? This is clearly not only an assassination, but also an attack on the mortal realm." Demise asked.
"It certainly looks that way." Said Ben.
"What do you think I should do?" Thorin asked, turning towards Natasha.
"Try to find peace. As your ambassador, I insist that you send me to wherever they live to try and negotiate peace." Natasha replied.
"There Demon halves clearly cry for blood. You'll get killed before then." Demise added.
"As your advisor, I suggest that you declare War. This was clearly the first step of a massive invasion because they'd kill our king and who knows who else." Circe suggested.
Thinking about this, Thorin was cut off from his thoughts when Minerva teleported in human form, all beaten and bruised on the verge of dying, much to Thorin's horror as he rushed to his wife, pulling her close to him.
"Min, what happened?!" Thorin shouted.
"Merlin. He sent me here just before he died by a Nephlim." Minerva explained before passing out.
Growling, Thorin started to pull in the shadows towards him, blocking out the light, declaring something he would regret for the rest of his life and afterlife.
"WE GO TO WAR!" Thorin declared.
"The Extinction has started." Said Palutena.
6,000 years later.
It has been 6000 years since the war began and there have been many losses on all sides. For 6000 years, the armies of Heaven, Hell and the Mortal Realm have been fighting the Nephlims, finding just how resilient the combination of the Light and Dark is as they fought back with the fury of 1 million Spartans.
Finishing the battle, Thorin looked towards the non-combatants which was comprised of mostly women and children all looking at him and the others in fear.
"None of you will be harmed. I swear on my honor as king." Thorin promised.
Turning around, Thorin didn't see Demise approaching the Nephlims and to their horror, burned them all with his fire, turning them to ash.
"Told you so." Said Zelda.
"DEMISE! THEY WERE INNOCENT!" Thorin shouted, horrified at the action.
"They're Nephlims. Any we don't kill, becomes a new enemy." Demise explained.
"This war can't end like this. We only fight and kill fighters." Thorin stated.
"I'll kill any Nephlim no matter the age! Vengeance will be mine!" Demise declared.
"I'll stop you from going on this path." Thorin replied.
Closing his eyes, Demise growled before he teleports to Thorin which he blocks. He tries landing a flurry of punches but Thorin avoids them. Thorin punches Demise in the head and knocks him over. Thorin tries punching Demise while he's on the ground but Demise teleports right before he does so.
Demise tried to blast lightning at Thorin, but deflects the attack with a Dark Bomb thrown, knocking it back at Demise. He then teleports before the dark bomb can hit him. Teleporting behind Thorin, Demise then punches Thorin in the face, disorienting him. While Thorin is dizzy, Demise summons a sword and attempts to slice him. But, before he can do so, Thorin wakes up and dodges the sword slashes, subsequently kicking Demise in the face before uppercutting him, then kicking him off the mountain with the loud boom. Demise is on his knees. Thorin lands on his feet in front of him with two swords, cutting Demise's forehead, giving him his scar.
"So that's where he got it." Said Zelda.
"Give up, Demise. I spare you in the name of our friendship, but I don't want to see you again so long as you're like this." Thorin warned dangerously.
Growling, Demise teleported away, vowing to see Thorin again only when he has more power such as the recently made Triforce he has heard about in the new world of Hyrule created by 3 goddesses: Din, Nayru, and Farore.
Looking towards the homes, Thorin saw the last stronghold of the Nephlims which was a bounty hunter guild at one point.
Deciding to look for information, Thorin went into the record hall, finding many different prices for many different people including to his Rage was Minerva, but what truly made him mad was the name of the person who placed the bounty on her head.
On Anodyne
The Castle's Library.
Talking to all the secret Harem Girls and Circe, the five girls all talked to one another about strategies to end this war quickly, but the five quickly became concerned when Thorin appeared, grabbing Circe by the neck forcing her into a bookshelf surprising all of them as they didn't expect him to ever do this.
"So that's why she was sent to Remnant." Said salem.
"Wait. You know Circe?" Asked Yang.
"Of course. She enchants my weapons and I forge them." Said salem.
"You did all of this! You're the one who sent the attack on Minerva and Merlin! You're the one who framed the Nephlims to have all of us fight them! So tell me why!?" Thorin demanded.
"Dear, what are you talking about?" Minerva asked, highly confused.
"Me and Demise attacked the last strong hold today instead of next week like we originally planned because every time we do so, information is always destroyed or disappears and look what I've found." Thorin explained, handing her a file.
Looking over the file, Minerva saw not only the hit on her head by several plans from Circe's room to become Queen by using the Nephlim's blood to make herself stronger and become Thorin's husband to learn darker magic to be the strongest in the universe.
"Circe, why? We always treated you like one of us." Minerva asked, shocked to see her original feeling was right.
"Power is all that matters to the Multiverse. I deserve that power because I'm the strongest! I'm stronger than you magically, I deserve to be Queen! He should've chosen me!" Circe shouted.
"She never changes." Said Salem.
"Because you have no regret for your Actions, you will be executed in two weeks, but if you truly come to regret your actions, you'll be set free of this curse." Thorin explained, becoming fully serious before nodding to Lucy.
Stepping out of the way, Lucy began to glow a bright rainbow color of Light blinding all but Minerva who watched as Lucy chanted in a language few have heard of.
"Ij bean ro jigi: tor Toni Crome ro Unix Levi lat Sholl Bę Cūrëd ve Never Wālt tek ni ro us; never ve dikoz tek ni ro us; never narg ni ro us." Lucy chanted.
When the light died down, the audience was confused on why Circe was now in human form in the same outfit in the future.
"I've preformed Pantha on you. Only when you regret your Crime, will you be one of us."
"A fate worse than Death in every regard." Said Verdona.
Lucy explained.
Turning their back on their former Anodite, the five walked out as the guards rushed in, taking the witch to the dungeon, ignoring as she tried to fight back.
Going into Thorin's study which the front wall, where the entrance is, is covered in Black wallpaper patterned with the same symbol found above the Castle door. This wallpaper is also found in the top border of the wooden back wall, near the dark brown ceiling. The symbol can also be found along the bottoms of the windows just under the ceiling along the side walls, as well as in a pattern on the black rug that runs the length of the room.
The bookshelves are decorated with framed maps, a framed portrait, dark gray bookends shaped like Dragon heads with light red crystals for the eyes, various awards, and a round gray clock. There is a ladder leaned up against the left shelves. In the middle of the room is an ovular glass coffee table with a chess board resting on it. On one side of the coffee table is a black couch, and on the other side is a pair of armchairs, one Black the other White, one of which has a black footrest in front of it. Near the couch is a candle That never goes out, Hanging above this sitting area is a chandelier made up of three tiers of metal rings, shrinking in size with each lower tier. Each ring has dangling strings of black diamonds, and hanging from the middle of the lowest ring are four white prisms.
The back end of the study is raised slightly above the rest, with three small steps leading up to it. Here, Thorin's desk can be found which was made from Ebony wood, Atop this desk is a candle of the same kind, a mat for the papers he writes on, a quill holder and ink, a couple of books and a single framed painting of Durin. Behind the desk is a portrait of Minerva and him during there wedding, On either side of this portrait are landscape paintings that exclusively use varying shades of black and White. Beneath the portraits is a shelf with books and a stack of paper. The seat behind the desk is a black office chair.
"Your office is similar to my fathers." Said Weiss.
"Apparently we have some of the same taste." Said Ben.
"Wow. Your office is really Extravagant." Rex complimented.
"I wanted something simple, but Circe convinced me that I should make it extravagant to show any possible ally that I could offer many things as their ally." Ben explained.
"What're we going to do? Circe tricked us into killing so many for the sake of power. We need to do something, so this can never happen again." Thorin asked.
"We erase everyone's memories and the records of this." Minerva explained, drawing their attention.
"You see what happens when worlds find out about the Embodiments before they're ready. It's even worse when people find out about Nephlims. We justified to ourselves that this war was justified but it wasn't. We need to make sure that if there are any Nephlims now or in the future, they won't be hunted." Minerva explained.
"But it only works in your universe." Said Palutena.
"You're saying we make sure no one remembers?" Artemis asked.
"Yes. The only way to make sure it doesn't happen is to make sure that no one but us remembers the events." Minerva replied.
"So you're saying we just sweep this under the rug?! Forget the sacrifices that were made?!" Natasha cried.
"No! We must be better. In the future, people could look back and simply say "They did the right thing." But we clearly didn't and we must NEVER repeat this action." Minerva explained.
"You where only protecting your family. There is never shame in that." Said James.
"She's Right." Lucy said, shocking all of them.
"For their own protection, we must make sure no one remembers these events because someone could try to find more and we mustn't let them, so the only thing we can do is to erase their existence and hope that they come back." Lucy explained.
"But-" Natasha began only for Thorin to raise his hand in silence.
"As much as I hate to say it, they're right. I really don't want to do this, I really don't. But we must make sure that the Nephlims are not hunted, so there existence must be forgotten." Thorin added.
"And, how are we going to do that?" Artemis asked.
"Min, you know the memory alter spell; we'll all channel our magic into you, so you can make sure no one remembers their existence. No one but us, Durin, and Circe in this universe will remember the events." Thorin explained firmly.
"I can do so, but I cannot alter memories which means people will question why they are missing 6000 years worth of memory." Minerva replied.
"I know. Which is why this 6,000 year gap will be labeled as the forgotten history." Thorin explained.
"History People have been trying to understand." Said Verdona.
"It also means the only Embodiment they will know of is Magic. They won't remember the other stuff." Natasha added.
"That is for the best." Artemis agreed.
Standing up, everyone channeled their magic into Minerva who chanted slowly, but surely creating the necessary spell to erase the memories of everyone in the mortal universe.
"OBLIVIOUUM!" Minerva cried, saying the last word.
With that word said, everyone except for the names mentioned had their memory erased.
Falling to the ground, Minerva was completely exhausted from the spell on such magnitude, completely drained of magic, leaving her on the verge of dying herself.
"Min, talk to me. Are you ok?" Thorin asked.
"I'll be fine... Just give me some time to rest." Minerva replied, struggling to stay conscious.
Opening her mouth to comment, Lucy was stopped by a huge blast of magic surging from across the galaxy, silencing all of them for the time.
"What was that?" Artemis asked.
"Someone's trying to summon something powerful. Artemis take Natasha to check it out." Thorin ordered.
"I'm coming too. Something that powerful means you need all the help you can get." Lucy added.
Nodding their heads, the three took off towards the source, never knowing what the future will hold for them as things will take a turn for the worse.
"Daigon." Said Ben.
2 week later.
After two weeks of constantly flying, the three were surprised to see their path took them to the Finite homeworld, but what they were truly surprised to see that everyone including young children were amongst the surface which is something forbidden until the 20th birthday.
"What's going on?" Natasha asked, completely confused.
Looking around, the three started to investigate trying to find the current King to get to the bottom of this magic feeling that continues to grow stronger.
"Excuse us, but can you tell us what's going on?" Artemis asked to a old man.
"The ritual we used brought the savior: Dagon! He has not only brought us to the surface, but will lead us to Paradiso." The elder explained.
"What does this Dagon do?" Asked Ben.
"He infiltrates planets making him look like a god to lower there guard with little to no resistance." Explained Ken.
Opening her mouth to comment, Natasha was cut off by a tentacle bursting out of the ground, stabbing Lucy right in the chest, draining her of magic and mana, killing her before she even had a chance to scream.
Panicking, the people began to run in fear as Dagon rose as a giant armored cephalopod, with black coloration, and six very long, bony, and lightly haired legs, each with two joints and ending with a claw with small spikes growing out of the first joints. It also has a plated mantle with ten tendrils around its mouth and a pair of Red eyes.
"GET THE CIVILIANS OUT OF HERE! I'LL SLOW IT DOWN!" Artemis shouted.
Summoning her Sword, Artemis charged the shapeshifter who roared at the general, blasting Artemis with lightning which she dodged to summon 60 swords, throwing them all towards Dagon's legs, receiving a roar of pain and anger as he kicked her into a nearby wall.
Getting up, Artemis barely dodged a tentacle, resulting in a mountain wall crumbling around her which proved to her advantage as she summoned a mace, hitting the falling rocks like baseball, inventing the game centuries before Earth ever did.
"Cool but I would ha e preferred tennis." Said Julie.
Getting annoyed, Dagon blasted a laser towards her, sending her to the ground and long enough for him to use his tentacles and completely drain her of Mana, killing her.
Sensing a large group of magic, Daigon ran towards the source, finding Natasha creating a large bubble for as many people as she could carry to get them off world and call for help when she saw the being of Nightmares.
"None shall escape!" Dagon declared.
Raising his tentacles, Dagon slammed them into the ground, spreading them across the planet, penetrating each and every creature on the planet which did include Natasha and simultaneously drained them all at once, refilling his power.
On Anodyne.
Clenching the arms on his throne, Thorin could only helplessly feel his mates die while he was helpless to stop it being so far away from them while he was busy dealing with Circe's betrayal.
Deciding to focus, Thorin looked towards the center of the room where Circe sat against the execution block where Sage held an Axe, waiting to cut her head at the command of his King.
"This is your last chance to repent, Circe." Minerva said in her throne.
"Go to Hell, bitch." Circe growled, far too calm for their liking.
"Then, we have no choice. Sage, you know what to do." Thorin said, looking away sadly.
Raising the Axe, Sage tried to kill Circe quick and painless, but was shocked when the Axe shattered against her neck, causing her to smirk.
"You cannot hurt her." Said Salem.
"How do you hurt her?" Asked Ruby.
"You don't. I can't kill her and she can't kill me." Said Salem.
"DEANUS!" Circe cried, breaking the handcuffs and to everyone's surprise, she fell through a portal underneath her, escaping without an injury.
"How did she do that?! It's supposed to be impossible to escape those cuffs with magic!" Minerva shouted.
"She has always been smarter than most. She must've use her pure strength to break them without magic then escape somewhere else." Sage said, glaring at the spot she escape from.
"But why did the Axe break?" Sienna asked.
"We don't have proof, but I think she possibly used the same ritual Madura did to be invincible." Ben explained.
"But wait, I hurt her, so it cannot be the same one." Lilith explained.
"Actually, it can. I looked at the ritual and since you're a demon, you can use magic on a higher plane without being related to her." Ben explained.
"Which makes it difficult. She will adapt." Said Salem.
"We'll have to worry about that later. Something has killed the girls and we need to stop whatever it is, because it's heading right here and we need to lower it away." Thorin stated, standing up.
"Then I shall gather an Army. I'll lead the attack." Sage said.
"No. We'll lead it away. Sage, if we don't come back, then you shall be King in our stead." Minerva replied, doing the same.
"Thanks, but no thanks. It's not my nature to stay in one place for too long, I say give it to Bartholomew because he's not only a great leader, but he's a healer." Sage suggested.
"If that's your wish, then fine. Just don't come with us because we need you to help evacuate the planet if necessary." Thorin explained.
Pulling off his Crown, Thorin quickly wrote something on the inside, much to Minerva's confusion at the sight of this.
"What are you doing?" Minerva asked.
"I'm leaving behind a gift for all future rulers. They shall have all of our knowledge and their knowledge will be passed down to the next ruler." Thorin explained.
"So that's how they did that." Said Tai.
A few moments later.
Durin's Cave.
"Are you sure you're strong enough, Thorin? Whatever that thing was not only could be sent to halfway across the universe, but can also drain and entire planet plus your girls of all their magic." Durin asked.
"I don't know if I am, but we have to leave it away from here. If we can distract it long enough, our people can escape." Thorin replied.
"Then I'm coming too. If you plan on going on a suicide mission, then I shall be there to make sure you don't die." Durin said.
"Dad, please stay here. I couldn't bare to see you killed." Thorin replied, only to receive a smash on the head.
"Boy! Do you know how cruel it is for a father to bury his son? I'm 61,000 years old,
"He is lying about his age. I just know it." Said Ken.
"Your right. He is 610,000 years old." Said Azmuth.
but don't think for a second I'm too young to lay down my life for my boy." Durin replied.
"Then, you'll need this." Thorin said, pulling out a large necklace putting it around Durin's neck.
"This'll allow you to breath in space but don't let it get destroyed or you'll die." Thorin explained.
"Then get on my back and help me fly in space." Durin replied.
Jumping on top the dragon, the three began to fly towards the source of magic with no fear as they went to war.
Later in Space.
Over Skyrim
Dragon Home World.
"Hehehe. That is some good irony." Said Noah.
Getting to Skyrim, the three glared at the back of Dagon in his dragon form who planned to infiltrate the world to take all there life force with zero resistance only to be blasted from behind, sending him to the ground.
Taking a deep breath, Durin unleashed his full fire towards the demon, receiving a loud roar in response.
Continuing his assault, Durin was then blindsided by a large red Dragon sporting features typical of his species: large, quadrupedal body build, sharp claws, tough beige scales, large wings, and a tail, with a smooth, armor-like underbelly. Of his draconian features, his most notable are the exceeding amount of sharp protrusions on the various parts of his body: large tusks jut out from and curve around either side of his jaw; two large horns that stick out from the back of his head; two long maxillary canines protrude from his bottom jaw; his chin is rather sharp; he has a horn on his snout; the scapulars of his wings also feature large, spiked protrusions.
This is Napalmeon, The current leader of the Science Guild, Igneel's DNA source as well the colleague who turned Durin in for using magic.
"Say what you will but he is a very good scientist," Said Azmuth.
Slamming his front legs on to Durin's Snout, Napalmeon started to prepare a fire blast towards his former colleague only for a mussel to appear over his snout, blocking the attack from Thorin.
"Enough! You can kill us later but first help us kill this thing!" Thorin shouted.
Seeing the Anodites, the other dragons started to attack them with their fire or run away in the panic which allowed Dagon to break free to grab a dragon and drained him of life, filling his own power.
Seeing the "Dragon" use Magic, Napalmeon blasted Daigon with power which did nothing to him but make him growl.
Taking a deep breath, Dagon blowed a huge amount of his fire, melting the scales and left arm/front leg off of the bone.
Seeing the attack spreading, Thorin raised a wall of shadows, blocking the attack, allowing Minerva to hit Dagon in the underbelly so hard, he was sent flying to the moon.
Seeing the state of his former colleague even if he turned him in for using Magic and attacked him, Durin growled but used his magic on Napalmeon, relieving the pain but unable to regenerate the limb, surprising the professor.
"Why are you helping me, Durin? I turned you in, you're banished because of me." Napalmeon asked, highly confused, earning a very powerful and hard smash to the head by Durin's tail enhanced with Magic, leaving a bleeding bump that will scar.
"...In the small time of 26,000 years raising this boy, I learned to not care. I'll never forgive you for turning me in to prevent saving my son, but I'll move forward with my life and not be tied down by the prejudice and fear of the gift of Magic." Durin explained as Napalmeon rubbed his head.
"He definitely deserved that." Said Azmuth.
Taking into the sky, the three fly towards Dagon who growled towards them as he blasted Durin with his heat vision which was stopped by a dark wall, absorbing the attack which distracted him long enough for Minerva to blast him with Holy Fire, giving the demon a severe burn that healed quickly.
"We cannot kill it! We need to trap it!" Durin declared.
"The only thing that I can think of that can do so is the Charms of Bezel on Earth!" Thorin shouted, which will later on in the future the charms would be inherited by Hex and then Gwen Tennyson who used one of them as Lucky Girl.
"Wait. That means I had the power of a god like bean." Said Gwen.
With that in mind, the three began to fly away, using their Magic as bait to lead him into a trap.
Seeing the Earth, Minerva broke off to get to Atlantis to get the charms while her husband and Father-in-Law continued their flight path to England in a very remote mountain range.
BGM start- The Last One Standing - Simple Plan
"Oh boy I love this song!" Cried Kirby.
Leading Dagon to Earth to the ruins of Camelot
"Of course you went to Camelot." Said Ragna.
where Thorin starts his fight by evading Dagon and easily lands the first strike, sending the Dragon flying into the air. He lands on his feet, but Thorin keeps up the pressure: Dagon is unable to counter the speedy King's blows, allowing Thorin to land a stunning hit. He attempts to follow the attack with a dark bomb, but Dagon recovers faster than he expected and flying over Thorin entirely, causing him to miss him and hit a nearby pillar instead, shattering it. Dagon moves to attack Thorin from behind. Thorin turns around to try to catch his opponent but was too slow as he was sent flying into the castle.
Durin fires multiple fireballs from his mouth, which Dagon shields itself from with its wing. Durin bears his claws in response and unleashes his Claw Attack on Dagon's abdomen, with no visible result. Durin goes in for the final strike, bringing both his claws down on Dagon, but once again, it has no effect. Dagon finally makes a move and stomps the ground, shattering some surface underneath and sending Durin into the air. Dagon then headbutts Durin, sending him tumbling back. Dagon takes flight and sends Durin higher into the air by striking him with its claws before reaching his height and sending him crashing into the ground with another claw strike.
Moving faster than Thorin could react, Dagon grabbed Durin by the neck and jaw then ripped his head right off, spewing blood everywhere across the once beautiful kingdom.
"Oh Oum that's horrible!" Cried Summer.
Screaming loudly in rage, Thorin immediately entered True Darkness using his full power in conjunction with his Staff from Death to pummel Dagon with a devastating combo of strikes that carries the stunned dragon into the air. Landing on his feet, Thorin then tosses it: the Staff flies away spinning, carrying Dagon with it as it continues damaging him, and comes back in an arc like a boomerang. Thorin catches the returning staff, using it to knock Dagon up into the air before he can recover. Thorin takes a moment to aim - staff in hand - and spears him through the throat with it before he even hits the ground.
"It wasn't enough." Said Ben.
BGM end.
BGM start- Mother Sea/going Mary's funeral - One Piece
"WHAAAA! This Music always brings out the tears!" Cried Sparta.
"Don't you think your being a bit dramatic?" Asked Weiss only for Kirby to join Sparta in the tears.
"I loved the Merry, she was apart of the Family!" Cried Kirby.
"This sad music is beautiful with instruments like a piano, violin, xylophone and what appears to be a flute and a harp." Said Ben with his own tears.
Thinking he is dead, Thorin turned around to go home, not noticing Dagon's eyes opening as he turned one arm into a tentacle nearly piercing him in the back until he was pushed to the side.
Turning around, Thorin went completely silent as he starred at his wife, holding the charms in her hands, but what drew his eyes was the tentacle in her back as she stored at him with the entire universe going silent as she mouthed her three little words with her last breath.
"I love you..." Minerva spoke with blood as all he could hear as she was absorbed and killed before his own eyes while he could do no more than watch helplessly.
"There are few things worse than to see your lover die in front of you." Said Salem.
Roaring in rage, even when he began to feel tired Thorin grabbed the charms and sealed most of Dagon's powers before his own eyes.
"You took my wives from me! Without her or Durin, I cannot completely seal you away, but so long as all of them are dead, your power will never return to you!" Thorin declared.
Using what little magic he had left, the dying king telepathically lifted all of them, then threw them across the planet, so that even if by some miracle all of his girls were brought back, this monster would never have his full power ever again.
In rage at this development, Dagon stabbed Thorin with his tentacle in the stomach, absorbing Him like a sponge to water, killing the first king.
With that, the smoke died, ending the tale of the King and his loved ones.
BGM end
"A beautiful story of love and death." Said Carol.
"And, that's how it all happened." Ben finished.
"But, why are all of you reincarnating?" Sienna asked.
"I can answer that." the voice of Light answered, appearing with sunglasses to protect others from looking into her eyes.
Summoning the Warp Moon which transformed into the Moon Staff, Ben pointed it at her, prepared for anything that could involved her not trusting her for a single second.
"I don't blame you." Said Rosalina.
"What are you doing here, Light?" Ben slowly asked with a dangerous warning in his tone.
"You wish to know what happened. I've come to answer, Thorin." Light explained as Ben still pointed his Moon Staff at her.
Creating her own smoke, Light showed a memory of herself and Death arguing along with a woman who is the literal definition of beauty as well as someone who could potential he pass as the sisters mother with pink hair similar to Lilith with bangs cut above her eyes, along with two pink earrings. Her style of dress shows more than Morrigan. She wears something akin to that of a green colored swimsuit showing her huge bust and a golden fancy coat with red-indented heart patterns across its design, along with white fur around the collar.
The swimsuit is designed with a single curved line with multiple arches in the middle while separating the upper part of it from the more detailed lower part. The upper parts of the swimsuit is in pink while the lower parts of it has a dark-red color with horizontal pink colored diamond shapes scattered all over it.
In addition, she wears a dark-pink choker around her neck with red chains attached to it, running across her back in a T-shaped pattern. She completes her outfit with a pair of dark-red high heels with pink nail polish coat on her toenails.
This is the Embodiment of Love as well as the proprietor of the Succubus race.
"Ahhh. It's our lovely mother." Said Morrigan.
"Ahhh, our Mother." Lilith said, becoming very happy.
"Mother?" Taiyang asked, confused.
"That's what she has all succubus call her, I mean she literally gave birth to the entire race." Morrigan explained.
"So is she like nightmare or something? I mean she is Love." Rex asked.
"No. Nightmare along with Fear and my daughter Dreams are the Masters of the Mind while Love is the Master of Emotions along with Rage and Hope. Love and Rage also control the forces of Good and Evil because of how well-connected their domain is with that concept." Light explained.
"That actually makes a lot of sense." Said Yang.
"Good And Evil are a Fools terms. One persons Good is another's Evil." Said Salem.
"That I agree on." Said Raven.
"But, I thought Embodiments don't have a concept of Good and Evil." Zelda said.
"We don't. You mortals, however, do so someone had to control that concept before it potentially put the Multiverse in danger, so those two volunteered." Ash explained.
"But, can't someone do something Evil for love?" Nero asked.
"You can, which is why it's the most difficult domain to control because the concepts of Good and Evil are always very between person to person." Light explained.
Turning towards the Smoke, they watched as Light simply rested her head on her hand in her throne, not even listening to the argument between Love and and Death as a try to once again convince her that she should allow Thorin entrance to Heaven
"IM NOT ALLOWED IN?!" Cried Ben.
"Just wait and you will see." Said Ken.
for his deeds as a good king even when it's only been half a century since then.
"I conquer all Light. One way or another you're going to let them reunite." Love said who's voice was even more seductive than Minerva, causing all the adults, even those who don't like women, fall in love with her.
"I love it when she does that." Said Mary.
"She makes seduction an art." Said Angela.
"Oh you have no idea." Said Lilith.
"Even Sparda couldn't resist her power after I prayed for her help to get him into our room." Said Morrigan.
"I'll allow very few dark users into Heaven, but I shall not allow my enemy in." Light replied stubbornly.
"Then we have no choice. Death." Love said, causing the Grim Reaper to nod.
"Light. We wish to make a bet with you." Death added, catching Light's attention.
It's a little known fact outside of the Embodiments, but Light is actually one of the biggest gamblers of all time, never turning down a bet of any kind when she can get something out.
"And, what would this bet intel?" Light asked, pretending not to be interested.
"You, Darkness and Myself shall help Minerva, Thorin, and the rest of the family reincarnate for seven life times. In each life, he shall be with one of them at a time until the last seventh life. In each lifetime, we'll wait to see if all of them are truly happy in each individual life whether it be with all of them or someone else." Death explained.
"So this is how it all happens." Said Tai.
"And, what are the stakes of this bet?" Light asked.
"If even once a single one is truly happy without any of them, Thorin will never be allowed into Heaven. No one would bother you about this again no matter what." Death explained, feeling like she just had to spit acid for even saying that.
"That was quite Risky." Said Death narrowing his eyes.
"But if they all feel truly happy together, then you must allow all the spirits whether the've done good or bad into Heaven and that does include if whatever reason, they're born as a demon or something."
"Bah! Who wants to go there? It's so boring." Said Morrigan.
Love added.
"And, what if they access their true power? That power will follow them in all lifetimes, they just can't use it when they're dead." Light said.
"Only when they access their true power will we reveal ourselves to them. We can only save them once and once only and we can have zero contact except for when they're born." Death explained.
"Very well. I shall agree with this Bet." Light replied.
"Good. We have already discussed this with Luck, so she won't help out in anyway." Love added.
With that in mind, Death summoned all the souls needed and blew on all five, sending them to different universes with the exception of the king and queen, aiming to put them in the same universe just as the smoke disappeared.
"Same universe." Said Ben.
"Just different time periods." Said Yang.
"Wait, there's something wrong with this. Even long before we were reborn now, me and Yang weren't together again. We were born in the same universe yes, but different time periods." Ben explained.
"Yeah. Bane was born almost 1000 years after Satele." Hope added.
"2,637 years to be more accurately. We don't know what happened, but we suspected Chaos had a hand in it twice, considering she's always bored without Death."
"Wait what?" Asked Rex.
Light answered.
"Oh yeah. I forgot those too often went out together." Ben replied.
"You mean there's someone Death likes?" Tai asked.
"I always thought she would go out with Thanatos or Deadpool." Said Hyde bringing total silence to the room.
"you really should have said that." Said Ken.
With that said a skeleton hand reached out from a portal and dragged Hyde threw it much to the shock of the others.
"What Just happened?" Asked Linne.
"Death dragged him to hell for saying that. Don't worry he'll be fine and will be back in about a week." Said Kirby.
"How do you think the Embodiment of Destruction was made?" Julie asked.
"That makes almost too much Sense." Summer commented.
"Either way, I've brought you some things, Minerva." Light said, pulling out a large box, passing it to Yang who opened it nervously.
Opening it, Yang saw a modified Duel Bladed Lightsaber, a lock of Black hair, a clear box with green energy swirling around inside, a Yellow Robe, and a Silver Bow shaped like the Moon.
"It's like when I got my memories." Ben commented.
"What's with the Hair?" Yang asked confused.
"In your past life as Nana Shimura, you possessed a power known as One For All. Long story short, you have to consume a part of the user's DNA to use it like a piece of hair or drop of blood." Light explained.
"Hair it is." Said Yang.
"What does One For All do?" Kirby asked.
"It bonds to your DNA, giving you a serious superpower. You get super strength, speed, your former Quirk or superpower Float, and The other powers the Predecessors had." Light explained.
"And, the Green Aura?" Yang asked.
"Nature will allow you to use Sage's powers since he hasn't reincarnated, however, you don't have the true power like him. Also, this Green Aura also contains your Past Life Powers as Arkhamverse Poison Ivy, allowing you to connect yourself to The Green from the DC Comics Arkhamverse and use her abilities at will."
"Hopefully Without the Extreme Acts." Said Noah.
Light explained.
"What happened to him anyway?" Rachel asked.
"He became the 3rd King and was killed by his Son-in-Law for his power." Ben explained.
"The robe? Don't tell me I have to cut my hair because that's not happening." Yang asked, narrowing her red eyes dangerously.
"It's made from Annabel using silk from Love's personal storage. There's nothing magical about it."
"Ohhhhh! You are so lucky!" Said Morrigan.
Light explained.
"What's with the bow? I don't see Yang using this." Rex asked.
"It's from her life as Zoe Nightshade. She was a Huntress of the Goddess Artemis." Light answered.
"She was a real jerk to Daddy and other guys." Kitty said.
"That's because when Hercules betrayed her, she joined The Eternal Hunt and swore off men forever. For 2000 plus years, she hated all men." Light explained.
"Until the end she learned not all men are pigs." Said Sparta.
Ignoring that, Yang used her magic to change into the robes, feeling that they are quite soft indeed before putting the Lightsaber to her belt, next she ate the lock of hair ignoring the taste of it, then opened the box, letting her friend's power along with her Arkhamverse Poison Ivy powers to rush into her, feeling all the power of Nature and the Green itself at her command instead of just the plants, then finally she put the bow over her back.
"So, when's the rush of memories- AHHHH!" Yang screamed, holding her head as she felt the pain from the rush.
"The headache is the worst part." Said Ben.
Rushing to her side, Holiday tried to find out what was going on when the grass rose to stop her, allowing Yang to receive the memories better.
Removing the grass, Yang looked at all of them with a smile with her new abilities, swirling around her, filling her with a new sense of responsibility to Nature itself.
"How do you feel, Cousin Yang?" Pisces asked.
"I definitely got a headache, but it's not as bad as Lord Apollo trying to Haiku." Yang answered.
"Wait. I thought he was the God of Poetry." Tai said.
"I never said he was good." Yang replied, shrugging.
"So, how old are you now?" Kara asked.
"Eternally 25,000 still." Yang explained, without missing a beat.
"Should not have said that infront of Light." Said Ying.
"She isn't counting. The other lifetimes is 35,000, but counting the others, she is somewhere in her hundred thousands." Light explained, receiving a dark glare from Yang.
"I hate you so much right now." Yang replied.
"Wait. How old are all of you?" Rex asked carefully.
"Good question, one you won't get." Said Helen.
"Me, Yang and Julie are the same age, Hope is only a hundred years younger, Helen is actually the youngest in chronological order." Ben explained, digging his own grave.
"Your so dead." Said Hope.
"What are you going to do now?" Vergil asked.
"I'm going to go to Flower Fruit Mountain to train in Sage Mode. I need to get back into shape, then I'm going to recruit my families from my other lives. This is war and since Nightmare and the Queen is going to get help, then so are we. Then we'll focused on getting your Yamato back, Vergil." Ben explained
"You had a lot of adopted kids as Whitebeard, are you going to recruit them all?" Julie asked, who also likes the One Piece franchise.
"There are hundreds if not thousands of them." Said Julie.
"I'll try. I mean as Whitebeard, I never had any real children." Ben explained, surprising Futaba.
"But what about Edward Weevil? Bakkin, his mom, claims you were lovers." Futaba asked.
"Bakkin and I were on the same crew before I made the stupid decision to join the Rocks Pirates, however, we were never lovers. His father was a very short giant, she was drunk and thought it was me." Ben explained.
"That explains it." Said Ben.
"What about Natsu and Ignia?" Helen asked.
"Ignia left me for dead when Acnologia came for us. Igneel disowned him for that and for the fact he tried to Kill me, I'll give him a chance, but he will respect the fact I'm King and Natsu is my Heir." Ben explained darkly.
"If only it was that easy." Said Ken.
"What about Asuma? He's dead and you have grandchildren in the future." Rex asked.
"I'm going to the Naruto Universe first. Although, because Father Time is dead, there's no telling what point of time I'll appear in, so I could even appear just before the Destruction of the Hidden Leaf Village by Pain." Ben explained.
"You should take Kitty. She, as much as I hate to say it, needs to learn how to fight with those aliens not mention the fusions." Sienna added, not noticing the glare from her other niece.
"We had quite the talk soon after this." Said Rouge.
"What about me?" Rogue asked.
"I'll be teaching you how to use your Whip. Now that I'm here to stay, I might as well teach you how to fight in case someone finds out you're my niece or you just generally have to defend yourself." Sienna explained.
"And, I'll be practicing my new powers, so I don't accidentally activate One For All in mid-punch because it'd kill someone." Yang added.
"How hard can you actually punch?" Helen asked.
"Dante, go Royalguard Style please." Yang ordered.
Shrugging, Dante did as he was asked, waiting for the punch which came faster than even he could react, sending him flying out to sea, skipping on the water.
"About that hard." Said Bay.
"That's without One For All. There's no telling when the Quirk will activate, so we have to be really, really careful." Yang explained.
Nodding their heads, everyone made a mental note to be extremely careful around Yang just as Raven's portal opened which she and Vernal came tumbling out
Rushing to them, Yang started to heal both of them quickly before anything serious happened to them.
"What happened, you two?" Tai asked.
"Civil War. Someone got the drop on me from behind, so I cannot move my leg." Raven explained.
"You're going to be fine. Just stay off of your leg for a few days." Light said, earning their attention.
"Who are you?" Vernal asked.
"I'm the Embodiment of Light, Blossom." Light explained, receiving some confused stares.
"Don't ever say her real name. It ends badly." Said Raven.
"How did you know my real name?" Vernal or Blossom asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Anything the light touches, I see and hear." Light explained.
"Oh. Well, just call me Vernal. I hate my real name, so stick with my middle name." Vernal stated.
Deciding that everything was alright, Ben put Kitty over his shoulders, allowing him to perform the needed hand seals, taking him away to the land of the Monkeys in the Flower Fruit Mountain.
"Come, Laura. I promised to show you the Nanite Containment Unit and some other stuff." Caesar added.
Smiling, Rouge ran to follow him, seemingly happy to follow in her uncle's footsteps.
"How nice. I look forward to this." Said Ceaser.
Once they were completely out of sight, Laura's smile turned into a look of anger as she pulled out Ouroboros
"Don't day anything. I am not proud of this." Said Rouge.
and threw it around Caesar, who looked shocked before his eyes glowed with a green aura over, waiting for her command due to the power of the Eight Nox Nyctores Weapon of Hazama.
"Give me the Green Meta-Nanite of Time & Space then forget all about this." Rouge ordered, not seeing Ash who was watching from the a tree as she made a quick mental note to report this to Death.
Omake: A Play Of Revenge.
With her husband and daughter gone and her niece was off to see some science, Yang decided to go practice with her powers when she had thought of Weiss being alone while Snow was going through her metamorphosis, giving her an idea.
Going deeper into the woods, Yang was met by Light starring blankly with her eyes opened behind her Sunglasses.
"I know what you're going to say. Revenge isn't the way, it'll leave you empty even though it's a member of your team who's practically family, so you should let her handle this." Yang said.
"I agree at the Revenge part." Said Six.
"No, I was going to say to not brutalize him like you're thinking. You're too gung-ho in this life and you need to step back and think of what needs to be done." Light replied.
"Adam got lucky. If he didn't have that weapon, he wouldn't have been able to cut me like that."
"That mind set is dangerous." Said Qrow.
Yang said.
"True, but that isn't the point. I taught you to be calculating within every decision, so take a step back and tell me what you know about Jacques Schnee." Light replied.
"He's callous, arrogant, vindictive and overbearing. He entered a loveless marriage into the Schnee family in order to take control of the Schnee Dust Company." Yang explained.
" among other things." Said Willow.
"What else? What are his vulnerabilities?" Light asked.
"He's a control freak. He doesn't like it when people challenge his authority, he's apathetic towards Faunus while pretending to somewhat care, but he completely hates aliens due to the invasions, he cares more about his wealth and image than the people around him, he's quick to anger, he's not above hitting Weiss... That's his vulnerability!" Yang explained.
"He's quick to anger and cares for money. You need to make it harder for him to make money than it already is." Light said.
"But how? The Dust Embargo is doing that for me." Yang asked.
"Destroy stuff. He flaunts his wealth, so destroy something major which will make him angry." Light explained.
"But he could also take it out on us," Said Weiss.
"I could break him, with Draco I could-" Yang began until she was cut off by Light.
"Make things worse for Faunus in Atlas. Attacking him in anyway will make things harder for everyone especially because Atlas has magic detectors while Mantle at the moment does not." Light finished, showing that she already predicted correctly about the scenario's consequences.
"Which means they'll detect me the moment I set foot on the kingdom, so what do I do?" Yang asked.
"Were you or were you not trained to suppress your magic?" Light asked.
"Yes." Yang replied.
"And, were you not a Huntress for Artemis? As well a grand Jedi Master?" Light asked.
"I have the knowledge, but not the experience." Yang argued.
"Which means practice time." Said Tai.
"Then use the Knowledge of your Jedi Training, get inside and find what he likes. Take it from him, then wait for the right moment to strike." Light explained.
"I'll take it right from his mind." Yang answered.
"Good. Now, I believe you were going to practice your Lightsaber Fighting Style Forms like your husband did as Bane." Light explained, creating several illusions of many Ancient Sith Lords, some she knew personally.
"But I still need a teacher." Said Ben.
'I'll have my revenge for my friend soon, I just need Time...' Yang thought.
Light smiled at her daughter, showing that she is just proud of her thinking things straight, until she felt Ben's suprressed emotions of distrust, anger, and hatred towards her, even if he's training with Kitty, causing her to close her eyes behind her sunglasses.
"How can she do that?" Asked Ben.
'Alright, Thorin, I will let you attack me without retaliation since I deserved it for hurting you in the past... But know this, I swear under my true name that I really changed and I will not harm and kill you in any shape or form out of biasedness, I will never suppress my emotions all the time, and I will treat you with patience, respect, and kindness for the children's sake and my own sake for WHO you are and NOT what you are...' Light thought, knowing that he is stubborn like Durin and can really, really hold a grudge for all those years ago.
" brutalize it doesn't work Ben. Please be the better person." Said Max.
"I'll be right back, Minerva. I need to talk to your husband even if he has the right to not trust me for a good reason due to the past. But just continue training until I get back." Light explained, causing Yang to nod as her mother disappeared instantly as Light knew she was about to receive a lot of released suppressed negativity that Ben reserved just for her when he returns from his training with Kitty and will unleash so much anger, hatred, with his SOT and Moon Staff.
"Or my sword." Said Ben.
-(Don't get the wrong idea, he's stressed out after torturing and brutalizing Jacques for his attempted murder on Snow, not only he burned him with Soul Fire, but he also crippled his entire arms permanently, and smelted them in indestructible Uru metal from the Marvel Cinematic Universe,
"which will make things worse for you because you just assaulted person," Said James.
"You cannot Hold me in prison." Said Ben.
"Don't underestimate us." Said James.
so they will never be removed and is brandmarked with the SDC across his right eye, and to end it all, Ben used his SDT Form to maul the left side of his face with his fangs, causing permanent scars on his face. So, basically, combined with the stress and mistrust of Light, he really wants Retribution which will later be seen next chapter where Light will receive, so she can have Ben trust her again.)
"Not while I am writing it. You want her to be attacked fine, but it won't be to the levels you want because It doesn't work." Said Sparta.
