Hey everyone! So I should have updated yesterday buuuuut I may have been in the cinema all afternoon watching Frozen 2 and Little Women. I love these moves as much as I love the live action Aladdin last year. I've finally shaken off the virus and am back writing finally! Hope everything is going well.

Hidden Child-Part 63:
A couple of days later and Lyra had woken up to a snake in her bed and she caught it and took it down to the Prefects' room and knocked on the door and Draco answered it and took the blanket out of Lyra's hand and showed her inside.
The 11-year-old was relieved to see Astoria and Daphne there as well.
"Be careful that's a live snake in there. Present from Astrid," she said before sitting down.
"What's going on?" Astoria asked as she watched Lyra curl up in a chair and look at her.
"Dorm war because Jasmine wants to be my friend rather than Astrid's," Lyra said as she explained what was going on.
"That is not a good thing" Draco said, "these things can get rather out of control Lyra. Trust me I know," he said as he looked at her. "When did this start?"
"A couple of days ago when father came and told me the truth about Jasmine wanting to be friends with me," Lyra said, "I have got this under control, just need to figure out how to get revenge. I am a Malfoy and nobody messes with Malfoys," she said.
"That is correct Lyra but I will speak to Severus about it," Draco said before Lyra nodded, rose from her chair and left.
"Can I speak with you?" Draco asked Snape as he knocked on the office door before walking in and dropping the blanket with the snake onto the Professor's desk.
"What is this?" Snape asked.
"A snake that Astrid dumped in Lyra's bed this morning. She's declared a dorm war all because Jasmine wants to be friends with Lyra and not her," Draco explained, "this could get out of hand very quickly."
"Leave it with me Draco and I will figure out what to do. Lyra cannot be harmed," Snape said before putting the snake safely into a tank for now.
"Thank you professor," he said and walked out of the office sighing softly.
Later that day and Lyra headed to her training session with Dumbledore and she was surprised to find her godfather stood next to the Headmaster.
"What are you doing here?" Lyra asked as she looked her godfather.
"Your godfather is here to try and figure out what is happening with your shields dropping. That will be key in the battle Lyra and we need to figure out what is going on so we can prevent it happening," Dumbledore explained, a twinkle in his eye, "we do not want Bellatrix to win so we have to do everything possible to help you win," he said and Lyra just nodded and went to her starting position and pulled her wand from her sleeve. Snape smirked and remembered that was a trick of Narcissa's and clearly she'd taught it to Lyra as well.
The professor stood back and watched as Lyra duelled Dumbledore. He was watching before he felt it. Lyra's mind shields failing and then he looked at Dumbledore throwing a wall to absorb the spells.
"Headmaster why are you casting spells that lower shields?" he asked before hearing a gasp from Lyra.
"Because I need to test her to see if she can realise what's happening and if she can bring her shields back up," Dumbledore said before he looked at Lyra.
"You had no right to do that! You are meant to be testing me on my spell reflexes… not my shields," Lyra said.
"Lyra I will sort it out. Now Headmaster please just practice Lyra's duelling with her," Snape said before he looked at Dumbledore, who nodded.
Snape stood back and watched as Lyra and Dumbledore duelled once more. There was no doubt about it. Lyra was getting better and her wand seemed to be reacting to spells without her needing to say anything at all. It was showing Severus exactly what Lyra's memory had retained and what she hadn't been able to.
Eventually Lyra called a stop to things and she was allowed to go and headed to find Zenon and Jasmine.
"You know Lucius and Narcissa are going to get angry when they discover it's you affecting her shields," Snape said.
"Only in training. Her shields outside of this room are being affected by forces I do not know about but I will find out," Dumbledore said as he walked to his study with Snape.
"So you do know about her shields being affected by something," Snape said as they walked into the study before pausing.
Lucius was stood behind the chair that Narcissa was occupying and they looked at Dumbledore.
"Dorm wars and shield testing? Really Dumbledore?" Lucius said, "you are trusted to test our daughter but not her shields at this time," he added.
"Severus what is this dorm war over?" Narcissa asked, turning her attention to her children's godfather.
"Jasmine changing sides and being friends with Lyra and Zenon," Snape sighed, "I currently have a snake in my office that was found in Lyra's bed this morning," he said, "who put it there… I can only guess but I can tell you it was either Astrid, Daisy or Maddie. Those three are as thick as thieves and I get the feeling that Astrid is jealous of you two always saving Lyra," he explained.
A sigh was heard from Narcissa and she turned to look at Lucius.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," she said, "always bailing Lyra out was always going to cause trouble Luc."
"Can they be brought here? Lyra, Jasmine and Astrid. I want the whole story," Lucius said before Snape nodded and headed off to get the three girls. He then turned to Narcissa, "whatever is going on I will fix it Cissa. I will fix it. I promise you."
