Feels like so long since I first uploaded this story onto FanFiction back in November 2013, and I honestly feel like there is many emotions as I write this on how much I am going to miss writing this story and how much fun it was to write it.

When I first got into this show, it was some time in late November 2011 during my Skyrim craze as it had come out earlier that month, later the next month, I finally watch the series premiere out of curiosity and I have never regreted that. It opened me up to a complete new world, and that is what got me writing.

At first it was a simple series about an alicorn who is a new arrival in Ponyville, and after three stories of that; it was when I had started to form an idea of thoughts in my head. It started off as just a picture of a knight that would defend Equestria, with Celestia smiling proudly in the background. It began to pressure into my head until something after writing that simple series I had mentioned, I wanted to get to work on it.

I begin work, and so far it has a great turnout, and towards the middle to the end of the story, it started to die down - though I still got a ton of views on the story. I exhausted myself to make sure the story got out alright, even if there are moments when it seems rushed. Kind of like the Nightmare Moon death chapter. But in the end, I feel satisfied with the product and it was quite a learning experience for me.

For me when it came to the show: It was the first four seasons that I felt had the magic despite the alicorn drama that went on with the Equestria Girls drama that actually turned out good in the end when I saw that in theatres with a friend. I did see Rainbow Rocks in theatres as well, during the long hiatus waiting for Season 5 to come into action. Season 5 comes in, and I thought it turned out great. Season 6 and 7, I thought they were alright, while Season 8 was average with a few sparkling gems. By that point at the end of Season 8, I started to realize that my love for MLP:FIM was starting to die down as I didn't feel as excited for any new episodes aside from the Kirin episode.

By the time Season 9 came around and was announced as the final season for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, it was probably some time in the final mid-season hiatus that my love for the show was going away as I was now starting to get into other things, and I think it ended when I saw the series finale, concluding a good run. How I felt about the final season was that I felt like the writers just decided that because it was the last season, they decided to let the fans write it out. Seeing ships (LyraBon) come true, and a load of fan service, I felt a bit more surprised, but was at least satisfied that the show ended how it began with the book closing. Not a fan of how they portrayed Grogar, and honestly wished that it wasn't Discord, as I would have wanted to see the Mane Six take the old goat on.

In the end, I thought it was a good run as Learning To Live was, and I almost feel empty from finishing it. As much as I would have loved to keep it going, I wanted it to end at the same time because eventually there came some things in my life which had me eventually finalize the decision to end it.

If you are wondering, no, I am not interested in watching Pony Life or G4.5 for that matter - nor do I feel interested in watching G5 when that happens. Reason being that at that point, I may have already moved on at that point.

For now, other than another story in another franchise that I am working on and plan to take my time on, I will going straight to a hiatus to get things sorted out, that is if it ever does. Working on the story took out a lot in me, but to return isn't going to be simple. Even if I get back to writing, it probably isn't going to be MLP and be many other stories that I have in mind.

I broke past over a million words? Wow...

Geez, there were times when I had to place this story on so many long hiatuses because I would start to lose interest, but I am thankful that there are those out there that stuck out with me all the way and kept an eye on me to make sure I was okay.

I would like to thank all of you, even if you haven't taken the time to review and just read the story. Thank you. Special honors go out to: billykilly, mrscott234, jvs12, 4theworldman, Elias E. Arias 2, ctran03931, Steve03 and plenty of others who have followed or favorited the story. Even if your name hasn't been mentioned, I still would like to thank you.

The other story I have in the works is in the "Kingdom Hearts" side. It's a story called "Heaven of Your Heart". If you can and feel like it, feel free to check it out.

But yeah, I don't plan to give up on writing, I just plan to start taking my time with it and write and upload when I feel like it. In short, don't expect quick updates as I will pop in with a new story or chapter every once in a while. Other than that and things in life, I have some original ideas that I would like to get out one day.

If by chance I do end up writing one last story for MLP, it would just be a simple one-shot. Nothing more really.

Thank you... no, thank all of you for reading this story. It may not be perfect, but it was quite a learning experience for me as I said before.

You never know when I am going to update again, so I'd say keep an eye out. No matter what it is, whether it is MLP or not, I think it will be good.

Now I depart towards future stories with this single quote:

"Thanks for the adventure. Now go have a new one!"
