Lincoln and Artie were still playing on the tire swing in the backyard of the Loud house, and the young child was having fun on it with Lincoln gently pushing his back while yelling with joy. "Having fun, Artie?" Lincoln asked
"Yeah! Again! Again!" the child replied while clapping his hands. Yes, these two were really hitting it off, and Rita called out to them that there were pizza rolls, and the two boys were more than happy to come inside, and have some of those snacks.
"Careful, kids, they are still a little hot." Lynn Sr said. "You know what they say: hot from the oven, and full of lovin'. I mean, that's what I say when dinner is being served."
"Thanks, dad." said Lincoln. They waited for a moment for the pizza bites to cool down, and they ate a few pieces, and they were delicious. "So, do you like it here?"
"Yeah. I like it here."
"And Luan, are you sure you and Artie are good now?"
"I swear on my great grandfather's grave." The comedian girl promised her brother.
"Good." he looked at the traumatized boy, and he asked him: "so, what do you want to do next, Artie?"
"Well, I wanted to see the zoo Uncle Mike has here."
"Oh, Inside Africa?"
"Yeah! That's the one."
"Cool. I think we can take you there later on. I mean, if Luke doesn't come back soon today."
"Okay. That would sound fun."
The pizza rolls cooled down and the whole kids had more of them before, now that they were no longer warm or hot enough to burn their tongues, or other areas inside their mouths. They tasted slightly cheesy and the marinara sauce made it more juicy, for they loved pizza bites, even if it's not actually pizza itself, pizza rolls were the next best thing to the kids.
Luna couldn't help but ask Artie: "So what kind of music do ya like, buddy?"
"Well, Luke showed me all those cool bands from a long time ago. Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Overkill, all those cool bands."
"Oooh, Luke told ya well. Those are awesome bands."
"I know! Most of my friends prefer Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber." he admitted with slight shame. "I know, it's just stupid. Why can't my friends listen to what I listen to? Luke says it's good music."
"Right you are, mate." Luna agreed. "Why can't more kids like you listen to the good stuff?"
"Well, don't let Lynn snatch you're pizza rolls, Artie." said Lana. "And I have a mud-pie I want to show you."
"That's okay," Artie looked a little disgusted. "that sounds a little disgusting."
"I know, right! Disgusting is awesome!" Lana agreed
"Oh, don't bother with her." Lola scoffed. "What you need, sweetie, is a tea party."
"Eww. That's too girly." Artie complained. "Tea parties are for sissies."
Lola, sounding a little angry, gave a very annoyed face. "Now you-!" she wanted to scream, but Lisa stopped her by clamping her mouth shut.
"Now now, elder sister." said the prodigy. "Be Nice and kind to Arthur. He is sensitive and you do not want to hurt him."
the spoiled princess realised that Lida was right, and she took a deep breath to keep her cool. "Sorry Artie."
"Thank you for apologizing." the small boy replied gratefully with his innocent smile. Then the children watched some TV in front of them all. There were still a lot of pizza rolls in the kitchen, come Lynn Sr had a lot of kids in his family, and he needed to fo everything to make them all happy and fed.
Meanwhile, in Inside Africa, Luke was finished fielding the African Crowned Cranes with his dad, friens, and employees in this safari park. It was really hard work, but he needed to hekpnput his dad and the other employees that worked in this amazing place.
Mike came out of the crane habitat, and he was slightly sweating from all the movement and slightly heavy-lifting. Despite that, he always appreciated all the help that his son and his cronies were giving him and the whole park. Being in charge of a large zoo or safari park founded by one man was never easy, and people in charge of their own companies would be the ones to pay for damages or renovations.
Still, it was a very dedicated type of job for Mike Leroy, along with his closest cohorts and coworkers that are in his workplace. This park was a very good cause and it was possibly the true last resort for any endangered species of animals that could possibly go extinct someday, joining the Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and those beasts that are long-gone.
"Thanks for the help as always, Luke. It's a good thing you're here too, my son."
"Anytime, dad." said Luke.
"Say, I was wondering, after Tanzania, where do you think you and Lincoln, and his family would go next after that in Africa?" asked Mike
"I... honestly don't know, dad. Africa is the second biggest piece of land on Earth, and many places to see. Probably... Kenya after. Either the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, or Cote d'ivoire ad a third place."
"Congo? That's still kind of a warzone, buddy."
"In Goma and Kivu, yes, but Kinshasa is relatively safe in daylight. Come on, we've been there a few years ago. And I'll wait until the Ebola thing is gone."
"I see. Yeah, I know we've been there. I guess the people are still very friendly to foreign visitors. And besides, you said your girlfriend has a mother who is working to save the Congo from the Ebola outbreak in that area."
"Totally. I picked the love of my life by the sound of it."
"No kidding. Alex has college degrees in ten subjects. That's quite a keeper. Not to mention how sweet and nice she is. But how are you going to pay for a trip to Tanzania?"
"Simple, I made a bet with Ronnie Anne and her family, and they lost, so they have to pay for most of the trip."
"Nice. But, do you think thet can pay for it?"
"I'm sure they'll figure something out."
A delivery man with a small package came and he said: "package for... Luke Leroy?"
"That's me. I'll sign it." the Rogue Lion did just that, and signed where the signature would be at. The delivery boy then went off and Luke opened the small box. It was a check for him. Two checks as a matter of fact, and one had twenty grand, and the second one had twenty grand as well. "Ah. What do you know?" Luke said. "They managed to kill through. I'm impressed."
"There's a note on the back of it as well." Lekan pointed."
"Huh, it said that the money was from Ronnie Anne's dad, and she says I need to repay him twenty grand for this. No problem. The ten grand obviously came from her friend Syd's parents, and it doesn't say I have to pay them back." he folded the paper and had a bold look.
"Perfect!" said Chris. "You got most of the money for Tanzania. But what about the last ten-thiusand dollars?"
'I'll manage the rest. I have my ways."
Mike chuckled. "That's my boy. But if something is wrong, let me know, okay? And I'll pay for any trouble."
the Rogue Lion smiled gratefully. "Thanks dad."
