Story Idea-Hicca has Asher and her's kids, though there are complications as a result of her low immune system, a hospital law suit, and having triplets during her first pregnancy. Will things work out in the end?

It was a quiet winter day and Hicca Haddock was resting at home while her husband of 3 months Asher Haddock, yes Asher took his wife last name because Hicca had a big stake in her own company where she is not only the CEO and founder but is the head engineer and pilot of Dragon Edge a aviation and airline company when she was 20 years, and Asher who is her second in command and a pilot as well wanted to take her last name because they were an unconventional couple and Hicca's last name is already associated with Dragon Edge and he didn't want that to change.

Some of the reasons why they are an unconventional couple is when Hicca was a baby he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder where one of her legs was shot and dis formed so it had to be amputated when she was only 10 years old and caused her immune system to be weaker than most and that her bones aren't as strong as they should be. Another reason why they are an unconventional couple was they don't really openly share affection in public. They are a more of a private couple.

All throughout her school career she was relentlessly bullied because of her leg and due to the fact she was a child prodigy excelling at all academic, the bullying got so bad that her parents transferred her to a private school for the gifted and that was where Hicca and Asher crossed paths. Asher was a gifted athlete excelling in any sport you put him in. While he was okay with his academic he still needed help and Hicca happened to be the tutor his teachers recommended and thus their "relationship" started. It was about four months into their friendship is when Hicca told Asher about her condition, while Asher was shocked by this he understood her and was willing to help her in anyway he can, Hicca was touched by this and gave him the biggest hug she could give him.

At first they hated each other but as time went on they grew closer to a friendship then from friends to boyfriend and girlfriend then fiance and how Asher proposed was so cute and it involves their dogs Toothless who was Hicca's dog and service dog. Toothless was a husky-Wolf hybrid,as well and Asher dog Stormfly who was a German Shepherd-husky mixed. How Asher pull this off was that he had tied a note onto toothless collar that said will you marry me and on Stormfly's collar was the ring and the ring was a combination of emerald and sapphire and of course she said yes and tackle hug him.

Their wedding was beautiful and in the winter, they both wanted a viking themed, and during the ceremony and the father daughter dance at the reception dinner Stoick couldn't stop his tears from falling as he held her close and Valka couldn't be happier that her daughter found her one true love. Their honeymoon was on a tropical resort with a cabin that hung over the water and it was active honeymoon both in and out of the bedroom.

Three months later

Hicca was resting at home from what seems like the flu due to the fact that she was throwing up and had zero energy and little appetite, and they both know that her genetic conditions that the common cold or flu put her out of commission and could land her in the hospital and that has happened in the past, and that is what happened when Asher found Hicca passed out on the couch and unresponsive after a rather violent throwing up session when they work from home, as he frantically called 911 about his wife as the ambulance arrived at their home and placed Hicca on the stretcher and raced to the hospital.

One they got to the hospital Asher had to wait in the waiting room, as the hours seemed to slipped by he had to call Hicca parents about what happened and they told him that they will be their shortly it was a few minutes later both Stoick who was a retired chief of police who had to retire due to a serious injury and Valka who was a veterinary came into the waiting as he explains what had happened, it seems like hours when finally a doctor finally called them back to head to Hicca room.

As they enter her room and it was heartbreaking to see unconscious and hooked up with an oxygen tube running up her nose and around her head and neck and was hooked up with an iv in her right hand and a heart rate monitor, as Asher sat down by his wife's side and hold her hand and Stoick and Valka sat down next to him as the doctors enter her room and tell them that reason why she fainted and the excessive puking was due was sick with the flu and she was also pregnant.

Shocked by this news both Asher and Stoick and Valka reacted differently, Asher was shocked by this new that he fainted in the chair he was sitting in, while Stoick was beaming with pride as he hugged his wife as he swung her around as Valka herself crying tears of joy they only stop when they saw Asher had passed out on the chair as Stoick gently shocked his shoulder to wake him up, as the doctor continued that they needed to see Hicca like every week or so due to her genetic condition that this could pose a serious risk of complications during this pregnancy and he advised that Hicca should be on strict bed rest and to avoid stressful situations and both Asher and Hicca parents agreed to keep Hicca on bed-rest and to keep her calm.

It was an hour later the doctor had left a few minutes ago Hicca was starting to show signs of waking up as Asher hold her hand and in a soft voice said,"Hey milady how are you doing?"

As Hicca replied in a quiet and tired voice, "fine babe. And where am I? The last thing I remember was throwing up in the garbage can you place next to the couch then falling asleep but nothing after that." as Asher look at Hicca with loving a concerning eyes and tells her," you have the flu with I high fever but not only that but you are pregnant as well." with this peace of news Hicca was shocked beyond belief but Asher continue, "the doctor also said that with your genetic conditions that your pregnant will be a high risk one and that you are recommended to be on bed rest for the entered pregnancy and to avoid all stressful situations." still reeling from the news that she was pregnant as she asked him if this was real and that they are going to be parents and Asher just nodded his head yes and they both start crying as they hug each other and they knew that this would be a long and treacherous journey but in the end they know it would be worth it. It was two weeks later when they release Hicca from the hospital in good health.

Month one

The first month of Hicca pregnancy was very smooth despite the morning sickness and sore and aching breast. After telling their company about Hicca pregnancy and they all agree that Hicca should work from home during her pregnancy. While Hicca runs operations from home Asher did what he could from their HQ but he couldn't stop thinking about Hicca at home but he knew that her parents were with her as well as his family were keeping an eye on her and that is the only keeping his sane while at work. While at home she spent time working on new designs for their new airplanes and spending time with their dogs who decided to have puppies. When she wasn't working she was following the diet and instructions that her OGBYN gave her and going to her weekly sonograms, she was also bing watching her favorite shows while working out to stay strong and healthy during her pregnancy.

Month 2

It was around two months when Hicca started to have weird food cravings and it was around this time where they can tell how many kids they are having and the gender as well. Before they left for the hospital Asher had to help Hicca in to her wheelchair due to the fact that she was starting to get more worn out and it was getting harder to walk with her prosthetic and Hicca had protest that she could get into her wheelchair but Asher insisted on helping her.

Once they got to the hospital for Hicca sonogram appointment and after helping Hicca onto the examination table and the sonogram gel is placed on her stomach, as the appointment her doctor, Doctor Mala told them that everything was going smoothly and that there are three heart beats. After a brief moment of disbelief they ask her if she could repeat that and she told them that they were having triplets, despite being shocked by this news they were happy and couldn't wait to tell everyone the news.

Once they got home they had a lot that they need to get started and plan for getting the nursery set up for triplets and having a baby shower for Hicca

Month 3

Hicca was now three months pregnant and now her ankle was swollen and even her stump was getting swollen and was relying on her wheelchair to get around, and when she wasn't in her wheelchair she was on the couch in the living room or on their bed. And two day it was not only Hicca's baby shower and gender reveal party.

They decided to have the party today in the afternoon, some of the things they had at the party were mock tails for Hicca because she couldn't have alcohol and a buffet table of food filled with a combination of Hicca's favorite foods with some hot-dogs and burgers, towards the end of the party with all the gifts they had received from baby close to diapers to toys and both Hicca and Asher thought it was time to announce the genders of their babies and as it turns out that they are having two boys and one girl, as Hicca and Asher hug each other they could now start to pick out names for their children.

Month 4

Hicca was heading into her fourth month and she was starting to get annoyed with not being able to do anything for herself and the constant doctors appointments and as the further she go it looks like she might have a C-section to deliver her children safely but even then their children might have the same genetic condition as she has, and this of course this scares them to think that their children could be born with what she has and for her it was hard enough as it is even with Asher and her parents help. Her doctors appointments were getting more frequent from once a week to two to three times a week. Asher has been a saint for Hicca from helping her in the bathroom to walking the dogs to doing all the chores around the house.

Month 5

Hicca was starting to get to the edge of her rope she had been on maternity leave for awhile now and she was starting to get bored with laying at home either on the couch or their bed and having gained quite a bit of weight. Hicca was really now relying on her wheelchair or Asher caring for her around the house, and even though Hicca like be carried by Asher it made her feel like a princess but she misses her independence. It was another appointment for Hicca and this time it didn't went okay as it turns out that two of their kids were breach and that the two that were breach were pushing against the third almost crushing him and it was in the best interest and advice from her doctor to have stayed in the hospital and deliver their children early so they have the best chance of surviving. And they will do the will do the C-section with in a month or so they wanted to see if they change position but as of this point they will have to have a C-section. As both Hicca And Asher were shocked with news as they call their family and friends about this and they all supported them and sending them their prayers in their dark times.

Month 6

It was the day of Hicca's C-section and both Hicca and Asher were nervous and after getting prep for the C-section and a quick kiss they whisked Hicca away for her C-section and after 14 hours later and Hicca was wheeled back into her room Hicca still kind of out of it from the medication as the doctor told Asher that all of their kids were delivered safely but they are all in the kids are in the NICU and unfortunately that all three show signs of the same genetic condition as his wife saddened by this news they know that they will get through this no matter what. It was a few hours later Hicca woke up and Asher told her what the doctor told him she was understandably saddened by this news as she hugs him tightly and they just cried.

Month 7

It was a month later and for some reason Hicca health took a drastic turn for the worse after her C-section, she developed a high fever and was throwing up, as it turns out that she developed and infection during the C-section when a doctor used a dirty scalp and that hospital new of Hicca condition and their should've been extra precaution to insure this doesn't happen and Asher and her family are more than willing to sue the hospital and they did just that and as it turns out they weren't the first to file a lawsuit against the hospital they took this case to court and won their case and won a settlement of $75,750,000 and Hicca couldn't take the stand in person so they set up a live video feed so she could still be apart of the lawsuit while she recovers from the infection.

The hospital were trying to claim they had no idea what the risks for including Hicca's health, and that had they known they would have taken many more precautions.

The case was a difficult one as the hospital had amazing lawyers, but thanks to Hicca's job they were able to hire lawyers who were equally as good. Thanks to the history the hospital had, the case was won by the Haddock family and the money given to them was plenty enough to pay for the treatment needed to help heal from her infection.

It took about 3 weeks for Hicca to recover from her infection and unfortunately the infection cause her so much damage that she could never have kids again they were saddened by this news but they were happy with the three that they already have and speaking of their three kids they decided to named them Nuffink Stoick Haddock, Helka Valka Haddock, and Asmund Finn Haddock. Each of their kids had a dis-formed and shorten leg like Hicca and like her they were born early and their immune systems are not the strongest. It was another full month for both Hicca and the triplets could go home in good health.

As Asher Wheeled Hicca into their home they were greeted by their friends and family with a surprise welcome home party as they introduce them to their three kids.

Hicca and Asher's best friend group absolutely adored the three children, and were completely willing to help with baby sitting while Hicca was resting, breast feeding every few hours as the children needed, while Asher changed diapers and changed. Hicca was still facing nausea, and was almost always feeling clammy while she was still resting.

Hicca and Asher's parents absolutely loved the newborns as well, already attempting to teach them things like 'patty-cake' even though the three were hardly old enough to stay awake beyond feeding times.

Two months after the kids were born

Hicca and Asher were finally able to raise their kids on their own without the help of friends and family now that Hicca was finally healed enough to move around and Asher didn't have to help her with basic daily necessities anymore.

"Alright, alright, I'm here." Hicca picked up Nuffink who tended to always be awake and ready to be held. She rocked him, dangled a toy above his head, changed him, and fed him before he was finally ready to be put back down.

"Appreciate it babe! We only get infant age once!" Hicca laughed as Asher hollered at her from the kitchen. She stood beside her husband, taking a bag of noodles so he could boil them for the pasta they were going to have tonight. Asher moved to chop some lettuce and purple onions for the bowl of salad they constantly kept in the fridge for snacking and to have a vegetable with meals. Here recently they were running low, well with how busy the babies were keeping them.

"Yeah. It's hard to love on and play with them when they cry so much. I don't think they really see me actually, only my breasts where their food is." The both of them laughed at that, but soon after one child woke up crying, alerting the other two to start screaming to be held.

"I guess that's our cue!" Hicca shouted in mock annoyance, smiling when Asher hugged her from behind.

"I'll take the boys. You take Helka." Hicca smiled warmly, nodding her head in agreement. Asher had stronger arms than her and could easily multitask between holding two babies and cooking at the same time.

"Agreed. I love you babe."
