Chapter 108: Uncovering

The City of Townsville.

The news spread like wildfire, and the city knew of what happened to Professor Utonium. Another atmosphere of dread fell upon the city, for this is unprecedented. It is one thing to wage a war against the city of Townsville and pulling the Powerpuff Girls into the conflict, but it is another thing to personally wage a war to the Powerpuff Girls by attacking their father figure.

The kind and calm-headed man is a moral compass and a bastion of stability for the Powerpuff Girls, and it is by his guidance that the Powerpuff Girls did not turn up as villains in the first place. However with the professor fighting for his life, the city watched with trepidation on what will the girls do to those that had truly did them wrong.

To make matters more dire, the Lunatics had denied the attack done on the professor and that alarmed the populace. If the Lunatics did not commit the deed, then who attacked Professor Utonium?

One such group in Townsville watching this situation with unease is the Rowdyruff Boys. And being who they are, they decided to be...proactive about it.

[The Ghetto, Downtown Townsville, 12.30pm]

"Nope."

A boyish sand-blonde teenage boy dropped an unconscious man littered with tattoos down on the ground while looking over his shoulders. A tall well-build teenager with short charcoal hair held in place by a dark green hairband acknowledged the blonde teenager's information with a nod. Surrounding the dark-haired Rowdyruff Boy are several more unconscious individuals.

"What about you Brick?" The dark-haired teenager's jade green eyes turned towards a teenager with burnt-orange hair tied up in a braided waist-length ponytail holding a person by his collar.

"This one will talk." Brick said coldly.

Butch and Boomer felt a dark chill down their spines as they heard their brother. It is a combination of factors of why they felt that way, from the glowing red eyes of cold rage in Brick's eyes to the cruel smirk that informed his brothers that the person is about to be subjected to Brick's unique brand of coercion. However, Butch and Boomer knew that the sensation they felt is because Brick had decided to unleash his 'fear'. They never really gotten used to it, though they are far more resistant to it than most people.

"Please...have mercy." The man in Brick's hands begged.

"Mercy will be given when you tell me what I need."

"Yes,yes!"

"Any idea who attacked the Professor?"

"That guy? Why would you-?"

"Answer me."

Boomer walked beside his green-eyed brother and crossed his arm as he watched several dark tendrils emanate from his brother and causing the poor unfortunate soul to scream out a blood-curdling scream. The tendrils engulfed both Brick and his intended victim and Boomer shuddered to know what Brick is inflicting on the person within the bubble of solid darkness.

"Who in their right mind would even do this?" Boomer conversed while watching the pure black orb flashed with brief red lights.

"Him's a likely candidate. Him always liked to mess with their minds." Butch posited.

"From what Bubbles said to Brick, Him's trying to warn her about the attack." Boomer wrapped his hands around his body in an attempt to warm himself up.

"Could be a trick by that stupid demon." Butch rolled his jade green eyes, shrugging off Boomer's reasoning.

"Well, you forgot that the Lunatics denied the attack being done by them immediately after the news broke out." Boomer reminded his brother.

Indeed, everyone is on edge especially after the first denial by the Lunatics. The most powerful alliance of criminals ever known in the history of the US denying a single attack is enough for everyone to know that the incident with Professor Utonium is an unprecedented attack uncalled for. Some had pointed it to the Tonton Macoutes that had been terrorizing the city. Others had put the blame on the new arrivals of the two mysterious figures sighted at Little Moscow to be the culprit. Others had other theories, each one more ridiculous from the last. But they all share a single underlying tone; something had decided to escalate the already deteriorating situation in Townsville to a new level of uncertainty.

"I don-" Butch's desire to disagree with his brother was taken over by a sensation that reverberate through his body. Butch's eyes immediately looked around to seek the source of the uneasy sensation. Both brothers immediately took a glance at each other.

"This is bad." Boomer pointed out.

"Looks like whatever it is, it's happening more often after they did something to the professor." Butch informed.

The conversation between the two brothers were interrupted when something dropped before their feet. Both brothers looked down to see a whimpering wreck, eyes filled with tears and nose filled with flowing snot. The man is crouching in a fetal position, hugging his body so tightly to the point that it appear that the man is clawing into his flesh. Butch and Boomer looked up to see that their brother's burnt-orange hair is now glowing a burninh crimson at its tips and their brother's crimson red iris is surrounded by the deep true black sclera and black veins branching out from the corner of his eyes.

"Nothing." Brick said coldly.

"Brick?" Boomer asked nervously, his forehead is excreting cold sweat despite the subzero temperatures.

"What's next?" Butch immediately asked, knowing that hell hath no fury like a Brick scorned.

"Finding someone that can explain." Brick answered.

Brick's phone started ringing, and he looked to see a message being sent to him. Brick raised his eyebrow, for his next course of action just texted him to meet up.

[Townsville General Hospital, Downtown Townsville,12.30pm]

This is bullshit.

That is what Blossom thought as she sat beside the still comatose Professor Utonium, remembering what the doctors told her. The doctors admitted that the Utonium residence had more cutting-edge medical technologies that may be able to help, but Professor Utonium's situation is so dire that if they attempted to move him to their home, he may lose his life. She may had escaped from her initial shock, but the surreal situation of her sitting beside her father in such a precarious state is not something she is prepared to experience. Blossom darkly thought that Professor Utonium had see the girls in such a state so many times that he may had gotten used to it.

But that is of course a lie, and Blossom thought that it is just a stupid thought. The rose-eyed girl felt guilty that she had placed Professor Utonium through the experience of almost losing his girls so many time. Blossom wished that she will have the chance to apologize to him, but the professor will have to make it through for him to hear her apology.

"Professor..." Blossom gently caressed her father's arm.

Blossom got up a little to see how Bubbles is doing, and it appeared that she is fast asleep beside the professor. Bubbles had cried herself to sleep beside their father, and Blossom thought that it is perhaps better this way. Blossom's heart was broken when she entered into the ward to see her sister sobbing beside Professor Utonium and she is unable to comfort her. A sensation of something resembling an echo within her gave pause to what Blossom is doing and she held her chest tightly. The sensation is not natural, and the Powerpuff Girl got up immediately.

"What was that?" Blossom wondered out loud.

"You felt it too?" An anxious husky voice of a young woman caught Blossom's attention. Blossom turned around to see a young woman with short black hair with neon highlights entering the room with an anxious look on her face.

"Yes. Yes I did."

"It is almost the same sensation as the one we felt a few days before... Before the incident in Little Moscow. But.. It is a little different." Buttercup tried to explain the sensation, but knew that she is unable to articulate the words to describe the sensation she felt.

"Something wrong is going on since those two came to Townsville. We need to get down to it...we need..." Blossom felt something in her throat and Buttercup immediately placed her hands on her sister's shoulders. The dark-haired girl leaned down and whispered in Blossom's ears.

"Easy there. Easy." Buttercup's voice quivered. Blossom pushed her sister away, surprising both Buttercup and herself. Before Buttercup can say anything, Blossom walked away from her sister and stormed off the ward.

Blossom will need to know why Professor Utonium was targeted, and what message is being sent to the Powerpuff Girls. And there is one individual that will have an answer to all the questions in her mind. The questions that will keep her from griefing about Professor Utonium's dire situation. To let her move forward for Professor Utonium's sake.

Blossom took out her phone and started texting to someone that might know the answer she is looking for.

[Townsville Pier, Townsville, 1.30pm]

Brick gently landed on the pier, to only be greeted by the sight of a familiar Powerpuff Girl with fiery red copper hair sitting on the edge of the pier. The Rowdyruff Boy picked upon the lack of her ribbons tying her long and lustrous hair, and for her to not have her hair tied up in an orderly fashion is a bad sign reasoned that he should take his place beside her, duly walking towards the Powerpuff Girl and took a seat beside her.

"Surprised that you called Babe." Brick is immediately greeted by a sudden burst of movement and the Rowdyruff Boy realized that Blossom had just grabbed him by the collar and pinned him.

"Don't. Call. Me. Babe." The Powerpuff Girl's glowing rose-pink eyes are hard and filled with fear, anger and suffering. Her face is pale, and it appeared that she have not slept in days judging by the bags below her eyes.

"You texted me for a reason." Brick decided to go straight to the point, for Blossom is a rational being.

"You know something about this." Blossom's accusatory tone did not sit too well with Brick, especially when added with her hands on his trenchcoat collars.

"I don't know anything about the attack on the professor." Brick answered truthfully, deciding to let Blossom hold on to his collar.

"Liar." Blossom's voice cracked a little as she tried to exert a strong front to her Rowdyruff Boy counterpart.

"I am telling the truth." Brick said calmly, knowing well that there is no reason to antagonise the Powerpuff Girl.

"Liar." Blossom gritted her teeth, and Brick sensed the source of her anger. Blossom pulled Brick closer to her face, their lips almost touching each other.

"Look into my eyes and see if I am truly lying to you." Brick gaze at her with calm and stern eyes.

Blossom paused for a moment and her rose-red eyes observed Brick's expression. His expression is not his usual smug or predatory expression, but instead Blossom sensed his condolences for her situation. The usually bright crimson eyes are much darker than usual, and Brick's solemn expression caused Blossom to let go of the Rowdyruff Boy's collar. Blossom's mind will not admit that Brick know nothing of the attacks, but Blossom's heart will not admit that she is wrong about Brick.

"No... You must know something...You're Him's..." Blossom trailed off as she struggled to breathe. Brick watched as Blossom started to hyperventilate while grabbing on to her chest, and her rose pink eyes are losing a lustre of its color. Blossom watched as the telltale signs of a panic attack gripped the Powerpuff Girl.

Hyperventilation? Check.

Expanded pupils? Check.

Incoherent speech? Check.

Skin losing its color? Chec-wait. What?

Brick realized that she is going to pass out and of he knew that if he do nothing, the situation will become worse.

But what can the Rowdyruff Boy do to Blossom?

Slap her?

Punch her?

Hug her?

Do something!, Brick's mind yelled at him. Blossom's eyes rolled up in her sockets before she leaned forward towards the icy cold waters of the Townsville Pier.

"Son of a bitch!" Brick yelled as his body instinctively followed suit as Blossom fell into the waters.

[Morningstar Residence, Suburban Townsville, 2.30pm]

"God damn it. "

Brick groaned as he sat in his room while drying himself using his heat vision. It is a really annoying experience to fly back home from the pier in frosty clothing, and he felt particularly miserable throughout his flight home. He honestly wanted to take a hot bath just to warm himself up, but he is unable to take that option for himself.

Regretted the choice of putting her in the bathtub first huh?, the voice in his head pointed out.

"Fuck. Off. " Brick planted his face into his palms, trying his best to warm his face with his hands.

Brick, in his infinite 'wisdom' had dived in and pulled Blossom out of the freezing ocean water. Also pursuant to that action, Brick had also in his 'infinite' wisdom had immediately bolted off with Blossom in her arms back to his home. Brick had made do with what he have and decided to rush her to his bathroom and took off her coat, clothing and shoes and place her in the bathtub filled with hot water. Of course, Brick did not take out Blossom's undergarments as he had no idea what to do and something resembling human decency stopped him.

You could have warmed yourself up with her body, Break mocked Brick in a perverted manner, and Brick did not appreciate it at all.

"Seriously. Fuck. Off." Brick snarled loudly.

Brick had enough human decency to not take advantage of a young woman that had the unfortunate experience of having a panic attack and also hypothermic shock at the same time. The trauma of both experiences had made made Blossom too catatonic to respond. Brick expected a response in his mind but instead he is greeted by the silence in his voice, leaving Brick the only person in his thoughts. Brick took a deep breath as he realized that doing what he did to prevent Blossom from the shock is another mistake.

"Eh-what the?!" A voice of surprise is heard from inside the bathroom and Brick knew that his guest had regained some form of consciousness. Brick paused for a moment, trying his best to articulate a proper answer for the Powerpuff Girl.

"The water's alright with you?" Brick chose a particularly neutral answer. .

"B-Brick?! What are you-where am-" Blossom's shock is quite entertaining to Brick, if it were not for the fact that he is the cause of it in the first place.

"You're in my bathroom." Brick answered before he got up from his bed.

"Why am-why am I in your bathroom? And why am I in a bathtub filled with hot water?!" The increasingly frantic voice is trying to find meaning to her situation.

"You panicked and fell off into the pier. So I took you back to stop you from going into hypothermic shock." Brick explained, knowing well that Blossom will have something to say.

"That is no right to strip me naked-" Blossom protested but Brick cut her off.

"You have your lingerie on Blossom. I did not strip you naked." Brick opened his wardrobe and took out a few item of clothing and a towel. Blossom's incomprehensible voice appear to be a combination of fuming anger and overwhelming embarrassment, which Brick finds adorable.

"Huh... Perhaps I should have left you freezing in the icy waters of Townsville Harbor instead?" Brick answered with a piercing question. Blossom responded with silence and that silence is something Brick enjoyed. Knowing her grudging admission that his action is right is a reward all on its own. Brick walked closer to the bathroom, and he knocked the door once he is face to face with the door to his bathroom.

"Anyway...", Brick opened the bathroom door just big enough for him to put the clothing and towel on the counter top of the bathroom sink, "Here are some clothes and a towel for you."

Brick is greeted by more silence from the Powerpuff Girl. Seeing that she is not protesting, Brick close the bathroom door and leave the Powerpuff Girl alone in the bathtub. Brick sighed once more, knowing well that Blossom may not take his offer of clothing and stay in his bathroom. Brick had left her coat and clothing inside the bathroom as well, just to ensure that she will not think that he had done anything to her clothes and also to provide her with an option (albeit an unrealistic one) to wear back her clothing if she will not take him up on his offer of dry clothing. For all he know, Blossom may think that he had done some bad things to her and will blow him away.

Brick waited for a moment, half expecting her to break down his door and blast him with her eye beams for any perceived slight. Instead, he is greeted by a response he never though he would hear from her.

"Thanks...thanks for the clothes Brick."

"Least I could do." Brick responded in kind.

"This is weird." Blossom meekly say as she exited his bathroom.

It took Blossom another thirty minutes before she came out from his bathroom. Brick observed Blossom's discomfort as she tried to move around while wearing the dark maroon shirt shirt and black track pants that he had provided for her. They are a little too large for her, and somehow she is struggling to keep it all in place. .

"Well, the clothing is a few sizes larger than your frame you know." Brick quipped, causing Blossom's cheeks to turn rosy pink and a glare that can burn through a steel vault. Brick wondered for a moment why she reacted in such a manner until she voiced the reason.

"Perv... You really enjoy knowing that I am wearing your clothes without any lingerie, don't you?" It was at that moment that Brick blushed harder than Blossom and he covered his mouth with one hand.

Brick had just realized that he had just passed Blossom items of clothing without any consideration for her gender. He had let a girl wear his clothing without any lingerie, and essentially fulfilled a fantasy that a lot of teenage boys wanted to experience. That is particularly sexy for a lot of reasons. Brick looked away, but the damage has already been done in his mind.

"Wait...you didn't plan for this." Blossom realized what happened, and she felt even more embarrassed. For her to suggest such a lewd though first made her very uncomfortable with herself.

"No... No I didn't." Brick had only thought about providing the Powerpuff Girl with some dry clothes and thought nothing about anything else. Brick got up and marched out from his room. Before Blossom can say anything, Brick had already left his room.

"Way to be a bitch, Blossom." Blossom said to herself, reprimanding herself for making her savior felt horrible.

Blossom sat stiffly on the study chair in Brick's room as she waited for Brick to return. As much as she wanted to stay still, Blossom's rose eyes instinctively looked around the room. This is the closest Blossom been to seeing the private life of her Rowdyruff Boy rival, and she slowly picked out the particular details of his room and belongings that she never had a chance of knowing before.

For one, Brick's room is devoid of anything resembling an effort to make himself at home. The spartan and minimalistic effort to decorate his room stood out as Blossom mentally compared Brick's room to Boomer's room.

Blossom turned her attention toward Brick's study table and picked up on a particular object, and she recognized it as the object that had led them down into the sewers. The geomantic compass, with its distinctive seven rings and eight section marked with symbols and Chinese writings stood out among the objects on the study moved the chair closer to the study table and she was about to reach for the object before the doors to Brick's room open up.

"I'm back." Brick announced as he entered the room with two cups of hot chocolate in one hand. Brick closed the door behind him before locking the door to his room.

"You should have knocked first before you entered, Brick. "

"Blossom, who knock the door before entering into their own room?" Brick reasoned, and Blossom felt like an idiot.

"Good point." Blossom acknowledged as she took the cup of hot chocolate from Brick's arm.

Blossom watched as Brick took a seat on his bed, and he placed his cup on the table. Brick clasped his hand and rested his chin on his clasped hands, before he turned his attention to the Powerpuff Girl. Blossom wondered why he is staring at her with such intensity before she remembered why she wanted to meet Brick in the first place.

"It is not nice to blame someone for something they don't know or didn't do... Even if I am a villain." The calm and cold voice expressed its owner's displeasure. Blossom knew that she is guilty of judging someone without giving them the benefit of the doubt. Blossom gently sipped on her hot chocolate as her eyes met the Rowdyruff Boy's crimson eyes.

"You're a villain, but a nice villain." Blossom slipped, not expecting herself to give him a compliment.

"But a villain nonetheless." Brick's assertion stopped Blossom from continuing further. Blossom looked up to see that Brick is clearly expecting her to answer him.

"Now, riddle me this Blossom: What is so special about Townsville? Everyone and their mothers wants a piece of Townsville, even when the presence of the Powerpuff Girls, the mightiest superheroines should act as a deterrent."

"I... I don't know. But..you had something in mind."Blossom admitted, knowing nothing about why Townsville tend to be a magnet of trouble. Blossom sensed that Brick is leading to a particular point, and one she is not prepared for.

"I think that is the key. If it pulled in the attention of the CCP-"

"The Chinese Communist Party?" Blossom interjected.

"Yes Blossom. You surely had noticed that Little Moscow was attacked by Chinese special forces right?" Brick pointed out, and Blossom's mind jogged to recall the sounds during the incident. Her rose-colored eyes opened wide as her memories picked up on the dialect spoken by the men in heavy armor and helmets.

"But...it could be Chinese merc-" Blossom questioned, and Brick clasped his hands once more. Blossom noticed that the carnelian-haired teenager is hesitant in explaining himself.

"... The Red Dragons Triad... They brought them here."

"Red Dragons? My sisters and I brought them down years ago!"

"You brought down half of their American operations. The only reason why they decided to not burn Townsville to the ground is because they don't think it will affect their global operations. They will not risk their entire operations just to take down three little girls that only wanted to keep their city safe." Brick explained and Blossom covered her mouth in shock. Brick decided to continue on.

"Anyway, there is a reason why the Red Dragons are the most powerful triad in the world. They are a front for the black operations of the Chinese Communist Party. Townsville is important enough that they sent in the Blood Dragon himself and his team. He is also the Rowdyruff Boys's former employer and a good friend of ours. He is the one that gave me this compass." Blossom's eyes followed Brick's hand as he reached out for the geomantic compass. Brick took the geomantic compass and showed Blossom the device.

"So far, I am aware that the Russians are here too. Those weapons Medved's used against the TOCTSeF are developed by Mojo under the guise of 'Mining Lasers' and are never meant to be distributed outside Russia. Alpha is in town to get back the weapons, and also to find out why everyone and their mother are so interested in Townsville. " Brick's eyes are now watching the arrow of the compass slowly moving away from its usual southern-pointing position.

"Why didn't you tell TOCTSeF about it?" Blossom asked, not pleased that Brick knew way more than her and also knew about the relationship between the parties.

"Oh... They knew about this alright. They just decided to make it a shadow war. The only thing they never realized is that the French intelligence service is also in town." Blossom's pupils became wider as Brick sighed.

"What is the French-wait... How are they even involved?"

"They are here for Renée from the looks of it. She is after all a French asset before she joined Him. They are more worried about their national interests for now, and Uncle Sam will not be pleased when they found out that she was a former French operative with knowledge of Uncle Sam's own dirty little secrets."

"You know this how?" Blossom asked as she continued on digesting the information and make new associations between all the parties involved in Townsville.

"Syria?" Brick is surprised that Blossom did not make the association, but shortly remembered that no one was supposed to know that they exist on the ground.

"... Right." Blossom is made aware of the difference between the world they thread.

"But I am also blind to many things Blossom. The Tonton Macoute. That zombie we met in the sewers. The two figures that appeared in Little Moscow. Professor Utonium. Him." Before Blossom can say anything, Brick decided to show the geomantic compass to Blossom. To her surprise, it is now pointing towards her. Brick leaned forward towards Blossom, causing her to reflexively back away.

" Those are pieces you have the answers to, Blossom. And this compass shows it too. These pieces are all related to you or your sisters."

"Abracadaver is an old foe, but the others...I'm not sure Brick."

"Whatever happened up to this point Blossom, it will culminate with Townsville High getting attacked by everyone interested in a piece of the pie. " Brick decided to use a more direct approach. Blossom got up from her chair, shocked that Brick knew of something of such magnitude.

"We need to warn-" Blossom was interrupted mid-sentence by the carnelian Rowdyruff boy.

"Lilith and TOCTSeF figured that the attack on the school will be a distraction. That's why I need to know Blossom. I need to know what makes an attack on Townsville High a lesser priority."

"I... I..."

"There is a reason why the Tonton Macoute is attacking they way they did. There is a reason why those two beings decided to come to Townsville now. There is a reason why Professor Utonium is attacked." The last point caused a jolt in Blossom's mind as Professor Utonium is one of the world's foremost scientists and there will be many reasons why he was att-

"Professor Utonium... He is better off alive than dead." Blossom blurted out, not expecting herself to say her point in such a calculating manner. Brick raised his eyebrow, his interest piqued.

"Professor... The professor... He has enough science in him to bring down the world if he decided to become a supervillain. But they chose to... No... They did not kill him...He...is hurt... He was made an example." Brick beckoned the Powerpuff Girl to continue, his silence allowed Blossom to continue on.

"Hurting him like that... Gave us a warning...and scare everyone else." Blossom felt a tinge of nausea behind her throat, and she covered her other hand on her mouth. Both hands are now cusping her mouth and her nose, and her eyes are closed.

"Is Abracadaver responsible? No... He is never crafty... He's doing it for himself... And the Tonton Macoute... They are there, but they are not following his orders...This makes no sense." Blossom closed her eyes tighter, to the point where little crow's feet are showing at the corner of her eyes.

" Are they under those two beings?" Brick asked Blossom, hoping that his suggestion may help her come up with a reasonable lead.

" No... At least one of them is curious about Bubbles. They had not known about us until now. They may find us as something entertaining on the wayside. They are here for whatever it is that Him is going after. What everyone is going after. Even us." Blossom recalled Bubbles describing to them how the white demon had been midly curious about her, instead of thinking that Bubbles is a threat.

" Okay... So that still leaves us with... "

"The motive. Whatever Him did to get such a reaction. But... Wait... What did Him took to cause everyone to..." Blossom's mind soon moved around to figure that had the demon done during its campaign.

In the Declaration Wars, they attacked a few locations and putting the city on siege. For the Townsville Prison Disappearance, Him took the prisoners.

It made no sense.

"Him sent an army to the military base and when the attack is done, everyone of them fell back. Him took something inside of me and the prisoners and then trapped us in the damn dreams." Brick voiced out and Blossom is taken by surprise once more.

"Wait... You had no idea about what Him took, don't you." Brick widened his eyes and it is now his turn to be surprised.

"No, but.. If you put it that way... Can I use your laptop?" Blossom asked.

Brick got up from his bed and he walked towards his study table. Blossom watched as he flipped his laptop, activating it from its sleep mode and typed the password to access the laptop. Blossom rolled the chair closer to his laptop and within a few seconds, she had opened up a map of Townsville itself. Blossom clicked on the mouse pad and placed a few markers on the observed as Blossom placed the markers on a few locations.

The Fort Marks military base.

Townsville Police Department.

Townsville Prison.

"If we put it in the manner of what is the most important installation that was attacked with the highest impact and most number of casualties... We get these three locations." Blossom drew a line connecting the three location and Brick saw the shape of a triangle forming itself. Brick is very interested in what Blossom is suggesting to him and he allowed her to go on.

"Put in Townsville High where it will be attacked. .. You get this. "Blossom drew the lines between Townsville High and the other locations, and Brick's expression of interest turned into a much darker expression. Brick saw the image of a diamond formed up, with Fort Marks forming the northern point, Townsville Prison forming the southern point, and Townsville Police Department and Townsville High forming the eastern and western point of the diamond. It was at that moment that Brick had a stroke of inspiration.

"Blossom draw a line across from Townsville Police Department and Townsville High." Blossom followed Brick's instruction and Blossom's eyes opened up to see that the points formed a cross. Brick placed his palms on Blossom's hand as she was about to speak to him. Without a hint of what he had done, he placed another four more markers before drawing a line between them, intersecting where the previous cross had intersected.

"Here, here... This area fits the pattern... and... There Blossom. That is where the real shit will happen." Brick pointed his finger towards the point where all the lines intersect. Blossom took a closer look upon all the new markers on the map that Brick inserted, and she recognized the locations.

Uptown Townsville.

Little Tokyo.

Little Moscow.

The Barrio.

The color on Blossom's face turned pale as she saw that the pattern appearing within the square that Brick just drew resembled an eight-pointed star. Blossom turned her attention towards Brick, and she saw Brick having a rather disturbing smirk on his face.

"Added a few more locations where there are lots of casualties... A chaos star... Son of a bitch... Him's made a city-wide Hexagrammatical ward. No wonder everyone's pitching in. Now if only we know what lies in this intersection, we will-"

"Your home." Blossom monotone response caught Brick's attention and he turned his attention towards Blossom. Brick was wondering if Blossom is a little tired, but she interrupted him before he can complete his sentence.

"Your old home, Brick." Blossom explained, causing Brick's crimson eyes to open wide with shock and surprise.

Brick turned back to the laptop screen and noticed that the intersecting lines all congregate on a particular point at Townsville Park. To be exact a particular landmark that Brick and Blossom knew all too well. The Townsville Volcano Mountain. And atop the volcano mountain lies the lair of the villain known as Mojo Jojo. Brick turned his head to face Blossom and both of them knew deep down in their hearts that things are about to get really bad.
