"... I wonder why those shadows never appeared before..."

Mirii was folding her arms, this time holding her sunglasses with her right hand. As she stood in front of the closed elevator door, her irises were sometimes following one of the shadows flying around her.

"... are they flying because they can keep the fresh air for me...?" Her head rose. "It's making me a little dizzy, though..."

Her eyes squeezed a little.

"Why I can see them without the sunglasses...? Those should be spirits or magical entities..."

Her head lowered, as her eyes reopened.

"... enough wondering." Her eyebrows lowered. "We must be"

Din!

The elevator door opened, immediately showing a sea of blackish liquid. As she took one step, an invisible wave of smell hit her face.

"Uuuugghh!" Mirii's left hand covered her nose. "D-disgusting!"

The shadows flew past the girl, as they were rotating around her. Soon, her hand left her nose and her nostrils were meeting an overwhelming wave of fresh air.

"... wh-what happened...?" She took one step forward. "How did this... h-happened?!"

As she took another step in the same direction, a scream reached her ears.

"Kelly!" Her mouth opened widely.

Her right hand wore her sunglasses, as she proceeded closer and closer towards the cursed liquid.

"I-I can still smell that terrible thing...!" Her left hand went back on her nose, as her irises focused on the liquid in front of her feet. "T-terrible...!"

Suddenly, the long-fringed girl appeared in front of Mirii with a big smile on her face, while being positioned horizontally in thin air: the girl gasped, as she jumped backwards.

"Took you long enough to get your butt back here." She grinned at her.

"... you..." Mirii frowned back.

"I was barely keeping my excitement for finally meeting you formally, Mirii Kelpshell!" Now the girl simply smiled.

Mirii clenched her fists.

"What do you think of this beautiful mess I caused?!" The mysterious girl tilted herself back up, as her arms opened widely. "Preeeetty big, huh?!"

"... where is everyone?" Her head rose, as her right shoulder thrusted forward. "What have you done to Kelly?!"

"... eh?" The girl opened her mouth a bit.

"I said..." Her right forefinger pointed over the floating girl. "Where is everyone?! What have you done to Kelly?!"

"Th-this is all... all you have to say?!" The pointed lady threw her arms forward, as her jaw dropped. "Not even a comment on the gravity of the situation?!"

"There is nothing to say about that." Mirii snorted. "Aside from being another heinous situation I'm in."

"But... bu-but I...!" The girl rose her fists, as her mouth waved visibly.

"Enough talk!" Mirii growled back, as she showed her fists. "Release everyone right in this instant!"

"No, no, NO!" The girl's hands went on her head. "You weren't supposed to react this passively!"

"And why is this supposed to be a problem?!" Mirii gritted her teeth.

"B-Because you will forget about me..." The girl's right hand went over her chest.

...

"... uhm?" Mirii sealed her mouth.

"I-I was waiting so much for this moment...!" The girl's mouth downturned. "I did all my best to prepare this whole plan... to weaken the barrier... t-to lure you in this tower..."

"So, you are wishing to splat me once and for all, aren't you?!" Mirii showed her gritted teeth back.

"No!" The girl's arms and hands waved sideways in different directions each.

...

"I wanted to create this whole problem, so you would find a reason to splat me!" The girl rose her fists, now visibly shaking.

"EH?!" Mirii's mouth flattened.

"An-and I... I would be so happy to be splatted by my favorite fighter of all time!" The girl smiled widely. "It would mean that I'm considered by you!"

"... is this...?!" A sweat drop appeared on Mirii's right side of her head.

"Who cares about asking for an autograph, when you can have your own fresh memory of seeing your idol splatting you right in front of your eyes?!" She shook her fists.

"... you are insane...!" Mirii's right hand took off her sunglasses, as she exposed her shrunk irises. "Utter madness!"

"I wanted to build the tension and all... but I don't care at this point!" The girl flew in front of Mirii. "Splat me!"

Mirii took a step backwards, as she roared in front of the floating lady.

"You could had just told me to splat you, when you were pointing your weapon at me...!" She folded her arms.

"But that doesn't feel legit...!" The girl brought her hands in front of her mouth. "I-I needed the real emotion of anger coming from you...!"

"You could had just told me to have evil intentions towards me..." Mirii's head shook. "That would have been-n-no, it would had been a failure!" Her eyes went wide. "I'm perfection, you fool! I have no emotions flowing in my face!"

"Oooohh, I love your attitude sooo much!" The girl grinned a little in front of her. "I can't wait to be your best friend!"

"Friend?! After all the predicaments you caused on my regards?!" Mirii threw her sunglasses towards the girl. "Disappear from this room, you failure!"

The sunglasses missed, as they fell and sink on the blackish liquid.

"... y-you don't... like me...?" The long-fringed girl's lower part of her face went darker.

"I have no reason to like someone who is causing nothing but problems!" Mirii's arms opened widely. "In fact, I do wish to splat you, so I would feel satisfied to see another enemy of mine flee away from perfection!"

"... I-I don't understand..." The girl fell on her feet, as she almost stumbled forward. "... they told me that you... you liked being treated like this..."

"Nothing but lies!" Mirii stomped the floor with her right foot. "But now, I'm sick of hearing your ignorant words!"

Mirii dashed towards the girl, as she passed a shadow and rose her right fist up in the air!
