Chapter 118

"Are you okay, Evie?" Trevor asked his wife later that night.

Evelyn rolled over in bed and looked at her husband. She shook her head. "No, I'm not! I'm scared!" Tears streamed down her cheeks. "I am so fucking scared!"

Trevor nodded his head. He moved over toward her and gently caressed her cheek. "I know you are, baby! I'm a little scared to!"

"I mean what the fuck does Glenn want?! He is not getting anywhere near our kids or me! I don't like the fact that he knows where we live. And to top that off what about my mom and dad? Or any of my siblings?!"

"I don't know what Glenn wants!" Trevor replied. "And I agree to him not getting anywhere near you, Andy, Hannah, or Sadie! You four are my world and it is my time to protect you at all costs! Just like your dad is going to protect your mom, Mariah, Derek, and Valerie at all costs. Aaron can take care of himself. And Nate won't let anything happen to Katianna."

"It's me and the kids mostly he wants. I know it is."

"We all know. He just gets some pleasure out of harassing us."

Evelyn nodded her head with a yawn.

"How about we try and sleep? It's been quite a few days. But today, hasn't helped."

"Yeah. I need to. Having Sadie and then today. It's a lot!"

"Yes" Trevor said. He moved over and kissed his wife. "I love you, Evie Eve."

"Love you too, Trevor."

As Evelyn tried to go to sleep, she thought of the events of that day. She decided then she was going to get herself ready to face off with Glenn if ever showed his face again. No more Miss Damsel in Distress. She was going to be that confidant badass woman her mother was whenever she stepped into a WWE ring.

Evelyn's real fight was versus Glenn.

Everyone ended up finding out about Glenn's showing up on Evelyn and Trevor's doorstep. No one was happy. Everyone said they'd do their part if he showed up near Evie and the kids.

"Do whatever you all need to do," Evelyn commented. "But I will take care of myself."

A few days went by and they heard nothing of Glenn.

SummerSlam was a few weeks away and Trevor was in the talks with WWE about coming back at the event or then after. Trevor was hesitate because of Evelyn and the kids.

"You can't stay here and not work, Trev," Evelyn said. "Maybe you could wait if you like. But you have to go back to work eventually. Plus, Ashley and Aaron are getting married soon after SummerSlam."

"You're right, Evie," Trevor replied. "And the kids and you could come on the road with me."

"Not right now. Get back to WWE or talk with them about stuff. Then we can work stuff out."

Trevor agreed.

After talking with WWE, it was set for Trevor to return after SummerSlam on Raw, August 25. He was coming back to help Nate and Aaron. TR Andrews, Arick Rollins, and Nate Harris would be a complete stable again.

With that, Trevor was home with Evelyn and the kids for a few weeks. Evelyn was slowly able to exercise. She didn't do a whole lot but walking and Kegel exercises. But it was all good.

On Saturday, August 23, Trevor headed back on the road with the WWE. SummerSlam was the very next day on that Sunday and then Trevor would make his return to WWE TV on Raw two days later on Monday.

It was hard for Trevor and Evelyn to say good-bye. It was especially hard for Trevor to say good-bye because of the kids. He didn't want to leave them or Evelyn. Trevor knew they'd all be okay. If anything, Evelyn's parents and his parents were just a call or text message away. He especially knew his in-laws would be over there to check in on their daughter and grandchildren.

However, the family was all worried Glenn might suddenly show up. They hadn't heard anything from him since that day he showed up at Trevor and Evelyn's home. That was a worry Trevor faced as he was leaving his wife and children behind. The worry that, that asshole would show up on his doorstep while he was back on the road.

Trevor actually made sure their home security system was the best money could buy to keep his wife and children safe. Evelyn was very cautious before she opened the front door to the house anymore still. She was not going to be blindsided by that man.

While Trevor headed out, Evelyn focused on the kids. Sadie was just a few days away from being a month old.

TR Andrews made his return to Raw a few days later. Mercedes and Colby with Mariah, Derek, and Valerie went over to Evelyn and Trevor's to watch Raw with Evelyn. It was a good time for the family as always.

One week and four days later, on September 5, it was the rehearsal dinner for Aaron and Ashley's wedding. Everyone was so excited for the event. Mercedes and Becky still laughed about how they said their son and daughter were going to marry each other someday when they were just babies. Now it was happening.

The wedding was taking place in Orlando, Florida, which was where Aaron and Ashley still resided. Becky and Fergal still lived in Orlando. Ashley wanted to live in Orlando to be near her parents and siblings. And Aaron went wherever she went. Plus, he was near some family regardless of his own parents and siblings as well as a nephew and two nieces back in Moline, Illinois.

Mercedes was so excited to see her son and goddaughter get married. Aaron and Ashley were as much in love with one another as she and Colby were. Or as well as Becky and Fergal themselves.

Aaron and Ashley were so excited to have their families and a few friends for the rehearsal dinner. Ashley was most excited because her family from Ireland had all flown out for their granddaughter, niece and cousin's wedding. Fergal was excited to see all of his family. But most of all his parents.

Mercedes smiled as she and Colby sat with Becky and Fergal for the rehearsal dinner. Aaron and Ashley sat with a few friends, while their siblings and some other relatives were around them as well. Everyone was eating and talking. There was laughter.

"Hey, everyone," Aaron said, standing up and getting everyone's attention.

Everyone looked at him.

"On behalf of my future bride and myself, we want to thank you all for being here," Aaron said. "It's great to have most of our family and some friends together. I know a lot of us are excited for the Ireland family to be here. Me being one of them. Especially for the Devitt grandparents."

"Thank you, Aaron," Fergal's mom commented.

Aaron smiled and pointed at her. "Anyway," He said, looking around the room at everyone. "Before the big day tomorrow, I just want to individually thank a few people before the focus will be totally on me and Ash."

Ashley stood up. "And we're going to thank some people together."

"We want to start with all of our siblings," Aaron said.

"Yes," Ashley said. "I am very thankful for my brother and sister. I love you both. But I can't wait to officially be related to Evelyn, Katianna, Mariah, Derek, and Valerie."

"Same here. I can't wait to officially be related to Lexi and Jaime."

"Thank you to my grandparents, my aunts, uncles and cousins for all coming all the way from Ireland for this."

"We wouldn't miss this for the world, sweetheart," One of Fergal's brother commented.

"Thank you," Ashley said.

"Thank you to my family too of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins."

"We love you, Aaron," Holly, Colby's mom commented.

"Love you too."

"Aaron and I want to thank our parents," Ashley said, looking at her fiancé as he looked at her.

"However," Aaron said. "We want to thank one individual person of our siblings." He looked right at Evelyn.

Evelyn smiled.

"Evie! You have been a big sister to not only me, but to Ashley as well." Ashley nodded her head as Aaron talked. "You were one of our very first friends. You have loved me since day one. And you have loved Ashley since the first time you saw her. You took care of me as a big sister does. And I have taken care of you as a brother does."

"Thank you, Evelyn," Ashley said. "Thank you for being a big sister to me when I needed one. And thank you for having an Eighteenth birthday party so I could have my very first kiss with Aaron."

Everyone laughed.

"You're welcome," Evelyn said.

"But we want to thank you most of all for the three children you brought into this world to make an uncle and aunt," Aaron said. "And someday if we have kids, Ashley and I know you'll be a great aunt."

"We love you, Evie!" Ashley said.

Evelyn blew them a kiss.

"Now it's our parents turn," Aaron said.

Mercedes smiled looking at her husband, Becky, and Fergal. They all looked back at her with their own smiles.

"Thank you to our parents for everything they have done for us," Ashley began. "Thanks for the support and love over the years. Thanks for helping us get our try-outs matches with WWE to get to NXT and all the advice and encouragement with all the steps of our careers so far."

"Thanks to my mom and Aunt Becky for dreaming about their son and daughter getting married. Because tomorrow it will be happening," Aaron said.

"Yes," Ashley commented. "Tomorrow Mercedes Lopez and Becky Devitt's dreams of their son and daughter getting married comes true tomorrow."

Everyone laughed.
