It was the day of Cas' Christmas party and both boys were getting things ready for them and Henry, who Charlie and Dorothy would be watching for them. Cas put the final blockade on a plug in, now that Henry was mobile, when Dean came out of the nursery with a sleepy pup in his hands.

"Good morning sleepy head." Cas grinned taking the pup from Dean's arms. Henry just grubbed and rubbed his face against Cas' shoulder, "I don't blame you. I'd rather be sleeping too." Cas chuckled and rubbed Henry's back.

"I'm going to go grab some more baby food to stock up down here. I'll be right back." Dean said and headed up the stairs. Mary was filling up a thermos of coffee when Dean got there.

"Good morning sweetie." Mary greeted.

"Morning mom. I thought you didn't work today." Dean mentioned grabbing a sack to put jars of food in.

"I don't but Ellen has some last minute shopping she wants to do so I'm going with her." Mary explained.

"Oh. If I give you some cash can you pick up some more baby food?" Dean asked.

"Sure, any preferences?"

"Um, he really likes the strawberry applesauce so some more of that? And maybe some more puffs and crackers. Everything else just use your judgment." Dean said, "I'll have Cas run up some money. Thanks mom."

"No problem." Mary responded but Dean was already headed back down the stairs, Cas popping up a few minutes later and handed her $40.

Later that day, Dean hopped in the shower while Cas watched Henry then they would switch. While Cas was in the shower, Dean threw on a pair of shorts and got the bathtub ready for Henry's bath, that way Charlie wouldn't have to do it. He decided not to put a shirt on knowing Henry would just soak it in a matter of seconds. Dean was still slightly skittish after the incident the other day but was doing much better. If someone came up on him fast with out warning he would flinch but other than that, he was fine.

Dean sat Henry down in the tub and instantly got splashed. "Hey, no splashing." Dean said softly but sternly and just got a squeal in return. Cas got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist and walked over to the tub.

"Having fun big guy?" he asked when Henry splashed again, soaking Dean in the process.

"He is." Dean grumbled and snatched Cas' towel to wipe his face off.

"Hey!" Cas startled and covered himself.

"I needed a towel." Dean shrugged and gave Cas a smirk.

"You're lucky there's a baby present." Cas huffed and went to get dressed, knowing Charlie and Dorothy would be there soon.

Sure enough, once Cas put on his shirt he heard steps coming down the stairs. "Helllooooooo?" Charlie called out. Cas quickly grabbed a t-shirt for Dean and met Charlie and Dorothy in the living room.

"Hey guys." Cas smiled, "I'll be right back." he said and disappeared into the bathroom. Dean was drying Henry off when he got there. "I brought you a shirt." Cas said trading Dean.

"Thanks. I'm going to finish getting ready in here before I change clothes." Dean explained.

Cas nodded and took Henry to get him dressed. Once Henry was lotion, diapered and dressed Cas brought him to the girls. "Here, I don't know how long he'll let you hold him though." Cas said handing the pup over to Charlie. "Ever since he started crawling he doesn't like being cooped up unless he's eating or tired."

"Gotcha." Charlie said and took Henry. "Hey buddy!" She grinned and Henry smiled and grunted.

Cas walked into the bathroom to finish getting ready himself. Dean wash brushing his teeth and Cas noticed he had styled his hair like he usually does but he had put in his contacts, which he hasn't worn since before he was kidnapped.

"You look good." Cas said wrapping his arms around Dean's waist and kissed the back of his neck, also inhaling Dean's intoxicating scent.

"Dude. My mouth is full of spit and toothpaste. Shut up." Dean said and spit into the sink.

"Baby you could be covered in Henry's puke and I'd still think you're sexy." Cas said and bit Dean's neck softly.

"Cas… Don't start that." Dean groaned but melted into Cas' arms.

"I'm fucking you long and hard tonight." Cas whispered in Dean's ear, which caused the younger boy to whimper.

"Cas, come on stop or we're never leaving." Dean begged. Cas complied and moved over to his sink to get ready. Dean took a couple deep breaths to calm down before leaving the bathroom. He said hi to the girls and slipped into the bedroom to get dressed. He dug through his dresser looking for a pair of jeans he hasn't worn since Henry was born.

"Ah ha!" Dean gasped when he saw the dark fabric. "Please still fit." he mumbled to himself and shimmied into the dark jeans that hugged all the right places. "Yes!" Dean yelled a little louder than he intended and blushed while moving to his closet. He grabbed a black t-shirt and a red flannel and called it good and grabbed his good shoes, well, shoe.

Charlie let out a cat call when Dean walked out of the bedroom. "Damn sexy too bad you're taken." Charlie teased which caused Dean to blush.

"Shuddup Charlie." Dean grumbled. "Thanks for watching Henry tonight." he said once he sat down.

"No problem. I don't get to see the little guy much." Charlie shrugged.

"Yeah, well now that he's mobile you guys are going to be on your toes." Dean chuckled and picked up Henry as he crawled by. Henry let out a whine and struggled to get out of his daddy's arms. "See what I mean?" Dean said and set his son back on the floor.

When Cas came out of the bathroom, Charlie whistled "well damn. You guys are gonna be the hottest couple at this party."

"I'm pretty sure we'll be the only couple besides the officer's mates." Cas mentioned. "You ready?" he asked Dean, who just nodded and chased after his son.

Henry screamed and wailed when his dad picked him up again. "Ohhhh you're fine." Dean said, "papa and I'll be back later okay. Be good for aunt Charlie and Gilda." Dean said and kissed him before handing him to Cas who also gave him a kiss and sat him down on the floor.

"By guys! Thanks for watching him!" Cas called from the stairs.

Cas pulled up to the Lawrence community building 20 minutes later. "Do you want me to drop you off at at the door or are you okay to walk? I know it's kind of slippery outside." Cas asked.

"I can walk" Dean responded with a little huff.

"No need to huff at me." Cas huffed back. "I know you're sick of needed your ankle supported but I'm just looking out for you."

"I know. I'm sorry.. I'm just a little nervous about tonight and don't want to leave your side." Dean said, adjusting the bracelets on his wrists. Noticing the motion, Cas understood why. The last time they both got dressed up and went to an event Dean got taken.

"I'm not going to let you out of my sight. I promise." Cas said and turned Dean's head so he could look into you eyes. "I will die before I let something like that happen to you again."

Tears filled Dean's eyes, he quickly blinked them away and leaned in to press his lips against Cas'. "I know." he whispered before sliding back over to get out of the Impala.

"Di-did you just Star Wars me?" Cas laughed. Dean didn't respond, instead he held out his hand. Cas grabbed it, giving it a little squeeze before leading them into the building.

Inside there was Christmas music playing softly and bunch of alpha teens surrounding the food table. Cas quickly found Jack sitting at a table talking to one of the female trainees named Alison. He directed Dean in the right direction to the table and pulled out his chair for him.

"Hi Jack, Alison." Cas greeted, "this is my mate, Dean."

"Hi." Dean said quietly.

"Hi!" Both Alison and Jack said.

"It's nice to put a face to the name." Alison teased and Dean blushed.

"It's nice to meet you guys as well." Dean smiled.

"Oh, and your pup is the fucking cutest." Alison beamed

"Well, he does look like his father." Dean chuckled.

"Like identical." Jack laughed. Cas just smiled throughout their little conversation, happy that Dean was getting along with his friends.

They got up to get in line for food when the 3 main alphas that always give Cas shit about Dean came up behind them. Luckily Dean was in-between Jack and Cas. "Well, well, well. Novaks omega is a pretty little thing." one of them chuckled.

Dean tensed up but didn't let any emotion show, while Cas just narrowed his eyes but kept his focus on the line in front of him. "Tell me Castiel. Did you knot your bitch good before coming here so he doesn't feel the need to stray to a bigger, stronger alpha?" another was said while his buddies laughed.

Before Cas could respond Dean whipped around. "Listen here dickless. What Cas and I do in our spare time is none of your god damned business." Cas stood there in shock, not expecting Dean to go off like that.

"You little-" One of them started but Dean cut them off again.

"I'm not as little as you think asshat. I'm 99% percent sure your 'macho' ego is compensating for your tiny dick."

Cas had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing. He composed himself and gently turned back around. "They aren't worth it. Keep going." Cas whispered.

"What's the matter Cas, your bitch has to do all the fighting?" The 3rd alpha piped up, and Cas had to grab Dean who started to lunge for the alphas.

"What's going on here?" One of the training officers asked coming up to them.

"Nothing sir. Just Dean defending himself from brainless alphas." Cas responded and pushed Dean forward in line, not bothering to hear the officer's response.

When they finally got to the table after getting their food Jack asked if Dean was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine. Not my first rodeo with over compensated alphas."

The rest of the night progressed with out any incidences. Dean's phone vibrated so he looked to see if it was Charlie.

He showed the messages to Cas who just shrugged and leaned over to whisper in Dean's ear.

"I'm glad they are. Seeing you defend yourself like that was hot as fuck."

Dean smacked Cas' arm and gave him a small glare.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" the head training officer announced. Once everyone had turned their attention to the officer he cleared his throat.

"I'm glad you all could make it out tonight. I know it's close to the holidays and everything which is why our students will not be coming back until the second weekend in January." he stated.

"I'm going to be going around and handing out your report card and evaluations. I appreciate all of your dedication and drive to help protect our community and others. After you receive your evaluations and report cards you may leave if you'd like."

Once everyone at their table got their envelopes they decided not to open them in front of anyone. While most of the people left, Cas, Dean, Jack and Alison stayed for a little while longer.

Jack was in the middle of a story when Cas felt Dean's had slide up his thigh, causing him to jump. "You okay?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, just a weird flinch." Cas chuckled but snuck a quick glance over at Dean who's focus was completely on Jack yet slid his hand higher up Cas' thigh.

Cas was biting the inside of his cheek, trying to keep a stone face as Dean's hand traveled closer to his crotch. He grabbed Dean's hand to stop him and noticed that got a small smirk out of the omega. Thinking that Dean had gotten the hint when his hand disappeared all together, Cas relaxed a bit and tried to force the beginning of a boner to go away. Dean scooted his chair closer to Cas' and before Cas could react Dean straight out cupped Cas' groin and squeezed gently, causing Cas to choke on the sip of water he had just taken.

"You okay babe?" Dean asked and removed his hand to thump Cas on the back.

"Y-yeah, wrong pipe." Cas croaked and just got a funny look from the two across the table.

"I think we should get going anyway to relieve Charlie and Dorothy." Cas said once he was done coughing.

"Oh, okay. Have a good night guys. It was nice to meet you Dean." Alison smiled.

"Yes, you too." Dean grinned, knowing he had gotten Cas all flustered. By time he turned around Cas was already half way to the door. Dean laughed to himself and hurried up to catch up to his mate.

"Thanks for abandoning me back there." Dean teased.

"Shut up." Cas growled and quickly threw his coat on and not so subtly adjusted his jeans, which made Dean cackle with laughter.

"Stop it. It's not funny Dean." Cas huffed and handed him his coat.

"It's hilarious." Dean chuckled but shrugged on his coat.

"You won't think it's hilarious when we get home." Cas growled again efficiently shutting up the omega.

"You better calm your ass down or you're not driving baby." Dean said once they got to the Impala.

"Maybe you should have thought of that before you grabbed my dick under the table." Cas huffed once they both got inside.

"Oh, quit acting so grumpy. I know you liked it." Dean said, starting to get annoyed.

"Damn it Dean, you know our cycle starts up next week. And you out of all people should know what happens when it's triggered early." Cas yelled.

Taken back by Cas' outburst, he got quiet and stayed quiet the whole way home and stared out the window. They both stayed quiet the whole ride home and when Cas pulled into the drive way Dean quickly got out and made his way inside.

"You idiot." Cas said to himself and thumped his head against the steering wheel.

Inside Dean went straight for the basement, almost knocking over his mom. "Sorry." he mumbled but just moved past her and down the stairs.

She saw Cas as she rounded the corner to go back upstairs. "Alright. What happened?" she asked catching Cas off guard.

"What? Nothing… Just an argument." he said not making eye contact.

"Mhm." Mary hummed and continued to head upstairs with her mug of tea.

Dean knows he's being petty but he didn't care. He got to the bottom of the stairs and went to the bathroom to get the contacts out of his eyes and get ready for bed. Dean was in the middle of brushing his teeth when Cas walked in.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled." he apologized and went to brush his teeth as well.

Spitting out the toothpaste and rising his mouth Dean mumbled, "no you shouldn't have." and left the bathroom. To agitated to sleep after getting his pajamas on, he grabbed his sketch book and a bottle of water and got situated on the couch.

He flipped through the pages looking at his art while trying to find a blank page when he came across a sketch he did a while ago of Cas and Henry. He gently ran his finger over the page, careful not to smudge it and sighed. He'll go to bed soon, he just wanted Cas to suffer a bit.

And suffering Cas was. He finished brushing his teeth and washed his face and stared at himself in the mirror for a few seconds before going to the bedroom. He saw Dean on the couch with his sketch book. "Are you not going to come to bed? Or do I need to sleep in the guest room?" Cas asked.

Looking over the top of his sketch book, Dean saw Cas standing by the bedroom door. "I'll be in, in a little bit. I'm not tired." Cas just nodded and disappeared into the bedroom.

He put the final touches on the sketch he just did when his phone chimed. Confused to as who would be texting him this late, unless it was Charlie or Cas. He grabbed his phone and saw that it was from his mom. All it said was 'I don't know what's going on but quit sulking.'

'How did she know?' Dean thought to himself but just set his phone and sketch book down. He knew Cas was still awake because he hasn't heard the soft snores he does when he first falls asleep. Letting out a sigh Dean got up and shut the light off before going to bed.

Dean plugged his phone in, took his boot off and crawled into bed laying towards Cas' back. "I'm sorry." he whispered into the darkness.

Cas turned around to face Dean and pulled him closer. "I'm sorry I yelled. It was uncalled for. I just got overwhelmed." Cas apologized.

"I shouldn't have done what I did. I just wanted to get you riled up." Dean said and slid his arm a crossed Cas' waist.

"It's alright. You were right, I did like it… I just got nervous because we are so close to our cycles." Cas whispered.

"Just go to sleep. I love you." Dean responded.

"I love you too." Cas said and kissed Dean's forehead.
