Mirii emerged from the ink, as she aimed her weapon aimed towards the uphill ahead. Before she knew it, various voices were surrounding her ears.
"... people are watching us..." Her eyes squeezed a little. "A valid reason to win the match..."
Hun was sliding towards the smaller hill, sliding all over it and covering its top in a moment. Carlson was running with his roller down on the small left road, leaving a large ink trail behind.
Greta was throwing Burst Bombs, while standing on the rightmost road, towards the small plaza who had a small pole structure in its middle.
"... I'm not sure what kind of tactics Temanga will use..." Her head rose.
From the topmost hill, Nick jumped on the edge while grinning at Hun who was about to jump off the much shorter hill. Nick was glowing intensively...
"Hey Hun!" The boy rubbed his nose. "Come and get me, girly!"
"Hmm?!" The Squid frowned.
"I can't reach him from here!" Mirii swam rapidly, jumping off the uproad. "Hunley! Take cover!"
"Grrr!" Hun was bending on himself...
"HUNLEY!" Mirii landed on the leftmost road, as she immediately extracted her weapon and pointed it over Nick.
The boy took out the Inkzooka in less than a second, firing his tornado shot over the girl. Mirii jumped out of the way, as the tornado missed her.
Mirii dived inside the ink, immediately sliding behind the small pillar of bricks. Hun stretched himself back to normal, as he slid towards the right side: quickly, Nick aimed his Inkzooka towards the fleeing Squid.
Carlson sprung off the squarish platform over the left, thrusting his Roller up in the air and hovering towards Nick.
SPLAT!
He flew away as a small Squid. Ana, who was holding the Squiffer, was shyly walking out of the wall located on the much taller road.
Nick fired more tornadoes towards Hun, while Zira was holding his back with her left shoulder. The Squid was moving quickly, twisting turns every now and then.
Mirii walked away from the pillar, already holding the trigger down and looking through the scope attached on the top of her Charger.
Nick fired one more tornado shot, before his Inkzooka disappeared off his hands: Mirii took one step, watching the tornado passing in front of her eyes.
"Here I come!" Hun charged after the top hill!
Greta was observing the whole scene, while kneeing and holding her weapon down.
"... looks like he finally showed up..." She smiled.
In the distance, Enrick was standing still with his brush hanging on his shoulders. Blue ink was dripping off its tip.
"... I was waiting this moment for so long..." The glasses-wearing had his mouth downturned and his eyebrows down. "My chance to beat your unpredictable natures fair and square...!"
Greta rose her knees, as she was still looking over the middle of the arena.
"... it's been so long, since we fought against each other..." Her head turned over him. "... come on, smile a bit!" She stuck out her tongue, while winking and bending her posture forward. "We are supposed to have fun, ya know!"
"That trick is as old as Judd!" Enrick roared, thrusting himself towards the girl. "Come at me already!"
The two Inklings looked at each other for a brief while...
"... d-darn it, Grina!" Sweat was covering his forehead. "Come at me! Please!"
"Heh..." Greta's eyelids lowered to the middle. "Are you sure you want to stare at me for all the match?"
"E-enough trying to trick me!" He shook, as he moved his weapon forward. "GET ME!"
BLAM!
His ears rose, while his irises shrunk.
"... Mirii is one of the best sharpshooters I know..." Greta's eyes closed. "She will soon splat all your friends and come for you..."
"DARN IT!" He gritted his teeth. "GRINA!"
"Eh eh..." She twisted behind, as her hands went behind her neck. "What's the point of a small battle, when the war is the thing that matters the most?"
Enrick dashed towards Greta, with his brush down.
"It would had been better if you were in the middle..." Her head lowered.
"TAKE THIS!" Enrick swung his brush rapidly, as large ink droplets flew out of it!
Before he knew it, Burst Bombs were already flying towards him: the boy turned into a Squid, as he slid back and hid behind the short wall on the left side.
"... nice one." Greta was leaning against the wall, as she was holding two Burst Bombs. "Wanna chase me with your Kraken?"
She threw her weapons towards Enrick's hiding spot: he bounced off it, as he was now a large Squid spinning on himself while in midair.
Greta swam away from him, as he slammed the floor with his head. She jumped towards the orange-covered floor beneath, chased by the giant Squid.
"WHY I CAN'T SPLAT YOU?!" The Kraken was seeing red. "YOU WERE EVEN GIVING ME YOUR BACK!"
Greta sprung off the ink, followed by her bigger enemy who dashed at full speed: Enrick hit the detailed pole in the middle, bending it visibly.
He departed after the smaller Squid, but he returned back into his normal self, just before he stepped on the grate above.
SPLAT!
He left the ground as a small Squid: Mirii was standing in the middle of the shorter hill, lowering her weapon and raising her head.
Greta rose her right thumb towards Mirii, while smiling.
"I will take care of the right road!" She turned into a Squid, as she fell through the grate and super-jumped back.
Mirii nodded, as she held her weapon's trigger down and aimed towards the top of the hill. Hun was climbing the taller hill, as he jumped off its top with ease.
Ana was coming through, aiming her Squiffer towards the airborne Squid. Suddenly, a noise was raising out of nowhere... Ana turned around, before screaming-
SPLAT!
A huge wave-like ray hit her, while releasing the biggest sound-piercing blast ever heard!
Hun landed safely near another pole, covering a small portion of the ground with his orange ink. Mirii twisted behind, watching Carlson standing on the highest road present in the current portion of the arena, holding a large megaphone-like weapon with one hand.
He grinned at her, throwing away the now-disappearing megaphone and jumping off the tall road with his Splat Roller in possession.
