"... the match was successful... and it was our first one as well..."
Mirii had her hands on the steering wheel, as a smile was stamped on her face. Hun was sitting on the right seat, smiling as well.
"It was our first match, isn't it?" He looked over her. "Wasn't it great we won it?"
Mirii's eyelids lowered gently.
"Indeed it was… I was just thinking about it right now..." Her hands were steering the wheel carefully.
"You were also thinking about what we should do tomorrow...?" He scratched his right cheek.
"Yes, I carefully thought the very first steps I should take before the next day arrives." Mirii nodded. "I can assure you that I have the situation under control."
"I'm glad I can count on you, Mirii." His head meet the headrest, as he looked at the ceiling. "... you know..."
"Yes?" Mirii gave another gentle steer.
"... I'm feeling tired, all the sudden..." His eyelids lowered to the middle.
"We are arriving at home, Hunley." Mirii nodded. "You can rest for a while, before we head back to the studios."
"Do we have recording sessions, today...?" Hun's right eye shut.
"Yes, just like almost all days." Mirii sighed. "I know it's a bit daring thinking about recording sessions in such moment... but we cannot ignore work."
"... uff..." His right hand covered his eyes. "I don't understand why I'm so tired, though..."
"You used all your energies for this global match." Mirii smiled back. "You put all the effort you could muster... and it showed."
"... uff..." His hand slid off his face. "We didn't had lunch... right?"
"Not yet." Mirii turned the wheel towards the right side. "You can lay on the bed or on the sofa, if you prefer..."
"Huh...?" Hun bended himself forward. "What is...?!"
"Hmm?" Mirii's eyebrows lowered. "Is there something wrong, Hunley?"
"A-are you seeing it?!" Hun also frowned, although he stared at the girl.
"Seeing what?!" Sweat covered Mirii's forehead. "I-I'm staring at the road..."
Suddenly, the car's windows coloured themselves into a light-blue colour, as a semi-curled Inkling girl appeared in the middle of nowhere.
Mirii gasped loudly, as she stomped the middle pedal and expanded her eyes.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" She bended herself forward, as her irises shrunk.
You can see me now...
"GET OUT OF OUR WAY!" Mirii scowled a lot, as she swung her right arm-
There is nothing to worry about... your lives are not in danger.
"Who are you?!" Hun's right hand went over the car door's handle.
He pulled the handle, but the door wasn't bugging... he looked at the handle, repeating the pulls without any concrete results.
"Why it's not opening?!" The boy stared at the girl.
"What?!" Finally, Mirii was also looking back at him... although, she let out another gasp when her eyes noticed his hand sticking on the handle. "Hunley!"
She waved her hands in front of him.
"Don't open the door!" Her teeth gritted. "Who knows what kind of dimension we are!"
You are still living inside your dimension... in fact, I just gave you the power to see me.
"What do you mean?!" Mirii slammed her hands onto the wheel. "Leave us alone!"
I temporarily evolved your minds... you are five times smarter than you were before.
...
"Uh... HUH?!" Mirii shook her head rapidly. "Wh... what..."
Your smartness allows you to comprehend my existence... but because you have no experience of such intelligence, you cannot focus on anything other than my appearance.
"... I-I don't give a care about this evolution you subjected us into!" Mirii aimed her right forefinger over the glowing girl. "Return everything as it was before!"
... I'm here to help Master Hun...
"Y-you are from the Shrine?!" Hun thrusted himself as much as he could, only to be held by the seat belt wrapping him against his seat.
Master Hun... I was sent by your sister's sub-consciousness. She is sleeping, right now...
"She shouldn't be sleeping at this time of the hour!" Hun scowled at the girl. "I should!"
Your intelligence allows you to indirectly manage your needs... right now, parts of your body are sleeping, while your mind is working to interact with me.
"You cannot expect us to learn such concepts when we must attend other tasks!" Mirii roared at the girl. "Why organizing such craziness to begin with?!"
I'm too complicated to be seen by mortals... even by inexperienced masters like Master Hun. I had no choice but to come right now, with the use of my powers.
"And why my sister can summon Squids like you in the first place?!" Hun folded his arms. "This is pretty suspicious..."
Master Fara is able to express her sub-consciousness, but without any intentional control... that's why she is doing it while she was sleeping. She is dreaming of you two... in a sense, she is looking at you through my eyes.
"Hmpf!" Mirii also folded her arms. "If you claim to be sent by Fara, why don't you prove it...?"
Suddenly, the glowing girl was fading in and out...
... I almost consumed all my energy... soon, your intelligence will be back to normal.
"If there was any change to begin with..." Mirii snorted.
You can summon me again... if you pronounce this name over Master Fara...
"We will not!" Mirii growled, as she opened her arms. "Get out of our faces!"
... Mirii... Miriiii...
The glowing girl faded away into nothingness... and soon, the light-blue background disappeared in place of a road surrounded by flowers.
"... are we back home?!" Mirii twisted herself left and right.
"It does look like it..." Hun was also watching his surroundings. "... what just happened...?"
"Something completely useless!" Mirii pushed the red button holding her seat belt. "Let's move inside our home, Hunley..."
"... hmm..." Hun also pushed a red button holding his seat belt. "... is it really useless...?" He looked up. "Maybe I should pronounce Mirii's own name in front of Fara..."
