Mirii, along with Silin, was stepping on the grass-covered floor bare foot. Silin's mouth was waving, as her fingers were twitching.

"I-I don' like th-this sensatiioonn..." Her eyes squeezed. "M-Mirii...!"

"Sssh!" Mirii frowned. "This is a sacred area of the villa..." She whispered. "You aren't supposed to talk"

"Iiiiih, ih, ih!" Both her body and tentacles waved violently, as she froze in place. "I-I think I stepped on a buuuugg...!"

Mirii twisted behind, noticing the distance in between herself and Silin.

"Move." Her hands went over her hips.

"I-I caaann't...!" Silin's wavy mouth opened, as her twitchy hands were raising in front of her chest. "It-it's crawling"

"MOVE!" Mirii's eyes expanded, as her hands covered her mouth. "Curses! Me and my patience!"

"Aaaah...!" Silin's teeth gritted and her hands grabbed her own shirt. "Helpmehelpmehelpmeee...!"

"Sh-she is not moving any time sooner...!" A sweat drop appeared on Mirii's head, as her mouth flattened. "If I don't do something, Silin would"

"Pffff!" Suddenly, Silin began laughing with her squeezing eyes releasing tears. "Hahahahaha!" She fell on the grass with her back. "Ha ha haaa!"

"Silin!" Mirii's eyes expanded, as her irises pointed over her right foot.

A round, black bug was moving its short legs towards an indeterminate direction, ending up just stepping in place. Mirii curled a little, as she felt a liquid climbing inside her throat.

"Haaa ha haaa!" Silin was punching the grass. "Hahahaa!"

Mirii shook her head, as she quickly reached the raising foot and decisively thrusted her right arm towards the defenseless bug.

Her fingers pinched on it, immediately chucking the bug towards a direction she didn't see clearly.

Silin was breathing loudly... before sighing and smiling at Mirii: a grimace invaded the taller girl's face, as she had her sight locked on her throwing hand.

"... dirty!" Her mouth downturned, opening on its own. "It's a hand filled with diseases and bacteria who ruins MY SKIN!" Her face went paler too.

Her left hand grasped her right wrist, as her throat was holding a scream so loud, it would make any skin crawl.

Silin was just observing, not finding the strength to get up from the grass.

"... nnnggh...!" Mirii's legs were failing to hold her still, as they were gradually moving towards the soft grass. "..." Her mouth opened, but her throat was silently choking the lasting words.

"... yo-you are scaring me, Mirii...!" Silin brought her hand in front of her mouth, analyzing-

Mirii left her place, directing her dash towards the previously-crossed entrance.

"What the shell, Mirii?!" Silin pushed herself up from the grass, watching the girl for just a second, before Mirii would disappear behind the entrance's seal. "Mirii!"

Her shouts met nothing, as the younger girl was now alone surrounded by the carpet of living grass.

"... what's gotten into her...?!" Baffled, Silin broke free of her focusing trance, as she now twisted behind and watched the shoji positioned on the other end of the hallway.

Her mind immediately tortured her with mental images of bugs crawling around her skin.

Silin yelped in front of her imaginative dangers, as she quickly bounced on her way to reach the unknown shoji.

"... Mirii did said something about the middle shoji in the distance..." Her right foot stomped onto something soft, yet decisive, who released the 'crack' sound.

The girl froze in place, immediately thinking about that imaginative bug who stepped in place on her foot.

"What they said to Mirii?!" Her right foot rose, twisting itself in the other way.

Silin's eyes were almost shut, before the foot's tip kicked in. Already noticing the emptyness of the tip, Silin expandes her limiting view out of pure safety.

Her right foot had no problem, except for a rapid mention of "colour appearance".

She resumed her rush towards the end of the corridor, this time holding nothing but the most scared-free facial expression of all time.

Her mind was also lighter, as the previous moments lost all their weight in front of now-calmer Silin!

Crack.

The disruptive sound broke the tranquil flow, putting Silin's advancement on a hold... but the girl lifted her left foot without hesitation, already knowing the source of such high-piercing noise.

She saw it, craved in the middle of her left foot... too small to see any of its incoming movements, but too big to just ignore their presence.

The disgust came up rapidly from the sweat of her face, as the girl couldn't keep any of her voices in hold... shouts inevitably broke in.

Her left foot shook in desperation, ending up removing the bug by complete accident. The second she saw the bug flying, the second her feet were now sprinting faster than before!

She met the final shoji before her mind would realize it... and just as fast, her hands pulled its thin side away from her path.

Two futons laying on the floor was the first delightful sight of the new area.

"Fara!" Silin smiled on her own, dashing after the futon with her arms wide open. "Fara, it's me! Silin!"

All the sudden, the colours of the room were intensifying themselves so much, they appeared in a watery-state. The blurriness slowed Silin down, reserving the girl one more trick up on its sleeve.

The light-blue colour was taking over everything except for the futons and Silin herself. Soon, a familiar being materialized before her eyes.

... wake up Fara...

"I was doing that!" Silin frowned at the glowing girl who was bending in the middle of the light-blue sea.

... it's not as obvious...

"What do you mean?!" Silin was already going towards the futon.

Master Fara is getting used to her sleep... only Master Hun can wake her up...

"What are you talking about?!" Silin scowled in response. "That makes no sense!"

... Master Fara is... is getting used to her sleep... Master Hun is... is helping her...

"So do I!" Silin was now near the futons, stretching her arms towards the items. "Fara! Wake up!"

Her knees brought Silin on the floor, making her slid all the way until she met with the desired futons. On their other side, the heads of both Hun and Fara were sticking out.

"Fara!" Silin tilted herself towards the other side whispering next to her left ear. "Fara, it's me... Silin!" She nodded. "Wake up, please!"

Fara was breathing normally, as if nothing in particular was happening...

"... yo, Fara..." Silin rose her eyebrows by her own, grasping the floor covered in light-blue colour.

Fara was continuing her sleep, as she wasn't even moving an inch in any direction...

... you should had come sooner...

"... why...?!" Silin got farther from Fara, stretching her arms straight and watching in terror her sleeping friend.

Fara is not used with this type of power... she entered into a state where her mind is infused with the pure energy... and unfortunately, she doesn't know how to revert herself back to normal.

"Infused with... what?!" Silin shook her head. "What does that have to do with anything?!"

The Shrine citizens who were supposed to supervise both Masters, weren't able to notice the growing effects within Fara's sleeping sessions... because of it, they couldn't prevent this phenomenon from happening...

"You never told me anything about that!" Silin moved her arms around in protest. "Where did this emerged? What's going on?!"

... I'm evolving, Silin...

"And?!" Silin snorted over the glowing girl. "What do you mean by that?!"

I was created as a means of communication... but because Master Fara is improving her infusion with the pure energy, she is able to define my own existence...

The glowing girl floated closer to Silin... as her whole body was growing under a steady pace.

And thus... I'm no longer a puppet whose knowledge is limited...

The being stopped, exposing herself as a glowing woman.

... I'm now her alter-ego.

The woman opened her arms widely.

The ultimate expression of her end-goal desire, the result she is seeking to achieve even to this day...

"... wh-what happened to you...?!" Silin curled a bit, observing the evolved girl. "Yo-you grew up...!"

I'm Fara's alter-ego. My knowledge expanded beyond her own...! I can see the reality she cannot grasp... I can communicate with other Squids under her wishes...

"And you got your own name too?!" Silin hugged herself.

No. My name is still the same... Fara. I have the power to control my speech... as my conscious is disconnected by Master Fara. I don't need the power to sustain myself outside of Master Fara's realm... ... unfortunately, though... I don't have the needed magic in order to help you escape this realm...

"... eh?" Silin's irises shrunk.
