Mirii made her way past the opened shoji, observing the area ahead. Aside from the small mosaic-like garden positioned on the large table, two futons bounced in her sight just as fast.
"Hunley!" She smiled. "Fara is here as well...!"
Mirii proceeded with her walk-
Flash!
Her eyes went wide and her feet froze in place.
"... oh no… not again!" Mirii's hands went on her cheeks. "Th-the weapon can't be"
Flash!
"... wait a moment..." Mirii's mouth flattened. "... there is something different, this time...!"
The girl was turning herself around, looking at other items such as a large vase, a long paper depicting letters who was hanging on the wall, a gong coupled with a stick holding a white ball on its tip and so on...
"... where is Silin?!" Mirii frowned, as she kept looking around. "Silin!" She whispered, giving herself another twist. "Silin!"
Mirii's hands went on her sides.
"I'm right here, Mirii!"
Mirii rose her head.
"Come on! COME ON!"
Mirii's eyes closed.
"... I don't like this..." She sighed. "Perhaps, I should keep in mind about with this flash I received..."
Mirii was stepping away, moving towards Silin.
"MIRII!" The young girl brought her hands in front of her face.
She got hit, flying towards the floor with her back down.
"Ow!" She gritted her teeth.
Mirii hit the floor with her right foot's tip, as she tilted herself forward so quickly, she could do nothing but to fall down.
Silin was watching her friend screaming in her face.
Bumf!
"UGH!" Mirii's limbs stretched as far as they could.
She stood like this for a few seconds, before her hands and feet found the energy to press on the floor and let herself raise away from the colder surface.
As Mirii was standing up, Silin was still stamped on the floor... quite literally! The girl's eyes were spinning without control and her open mouth wasn't even taking any air...
The glowing woman walked gently near Silin, before she bended her knees down.
... Mirii can't notice you at all...
"... ya think...?" Silin's eyes blinked twice.
... are you fine?
"Am I looking fine?!" The young girl's mouth downturned. "Because I look like a flattened bug!"
You should return back as yourself in a mom-
Mirii just rose her right foot, looming it over the stomped Squid.
"EEEEEEEK!" Silin had her eyes bulging themselves out of her flat-self.
Mirii's foot firmly pressed Silin's stomach who responded with a bigger yelp.
The pain was so big, Silin jumped in midair and returned herself back to the old self.
The glowing woman was observing the whole scene, when Mirii was accidetally moving towards herself.
The woman shouted a bit, as she was shaking without moving around.
BAM!
An accidental punch went off, hitting the woman's face who sent her flying! She shouted loudly, moving towards a wall and slamming against it so hardly, she opened her limbs on it naturally.
"Oh my turfness!" Silin was slightly scowling, looking at the woman with an eye of preoccupation. "Hang in there!"
The younger Squid saw herself flying towards her older friend, noticing how the glowing woman was sliding downwards.
"Fara!" Silin slowed down, ready to take a quick break for a moment. "I'm coming!"
The woman touched the floor and fell forward with her eyes closed. She hit the floor while her eyes were shut. Silin arrived, as she prepared her knees by bending them in advance.
Her hands went below the woman... as they picked her with tremendous ease!
"Huh?!" Silin's mouth opened widely. "How did I do that?!"
... we are both very light and fragile in this realm... me especially, as I am the thin connection in between the reality who keeps me alive in this realm and Fara's mind...
"S-so... because of that, you can't take any beatings at all...?!" Silin petted the woman's head.
I can't... ... I don't feel in pain, as this realm is giving us the energy we need to recover from any damage... ... but I'm not sure if such gift would last forever...
"I-I'm not liking this anymore!" Silin's eyes went watery. "First, this darn light-blue world changed into a semi-normal version who make us very light and weak..."
I feel better, now...
The woman bounced off Silin's hands with ease, as she landed in front of her and simply smiled.
"Don't we have something cool to work with?!" Silin threw her fists up and down, as her eyebrows lifted. "Like, do we have some nice powers?"
... maybe...
"Oh?" Silin's eyes sparkled.
This realm is like a dream... and we do interact with everything else, albeit in a different way than expected... maybe we can throw magic at them and influence the normal world...
"Which one?!" Silin smiled widely, while bending towards the glowing woman.
... let me try...
The glowing woman floated past Silin, as her hands lifted: each palm was gaining some sort of a light beam cumulated in within a ball. The woman threw the projectiles, as they went flying towards Mirii who finally made it to the futons.
The projectiles hit Mirii, making her yelp out of nowhere! The girl fell on the floor, while Hun's eyes opened fully.
"E-heh?!" His back lifted, sitting out of pure instinct...
He turned to the right, as he watched Mirii laying on the ground and next to Fara who was still sleeping...
"Mirii?!" Hun jumped off his futon, watching the girl with his eyebrows up.
The girl struggled, but she soon opened her eyes...
"... Hunley..." Her eyes blinked, after her mouth mumbled her name.
Hun dashed towards her, picking her up and looking at her face directly.
"Mirii! Say something!" He grasped her sides. "Please!"
"... Hunley..." Her eyelids went down on the middle, as she whispered. "... oh..."
"H-how do you feel?!" He walked towards the lonely futon. "D-do you need to sleep?!"
"N-no, no...!" Her voice rose. "I don't need to rest..."
...
"... huh...?" Hun blushed a lot. "M-Mirii...?!"
"What...?" Mirii's eyebrows lowere-her eyes grew a bit. "Wait... ... is it me or my voice is" Her irises shrunk. "Huh?!"
"Y-your voice!" Hun's blush increased in brightness. "It-it's..."
"My voice is different!" Mirii's eyes sparkled. "It's... a little deeper than my regular one, but more melodic, as if I'm singing my own speeches...!"
"Wh-what happened to you...?!" Hun was sweating, swallowing his own excitement.
"I don't know, Hunley... I was walking, thinking to wake you up and... I collapsed on the floor, feeling this burn coming from my back..." Her mouth downturned slightly. "I can still feel it, when I think about it..."
"D-do you need to rest, Mirii?!" Hun scowled, holding the girl as if his life depends on it. "Tell me!"
"Hunley, the burn is not impeding me..." Mirii smiled a bit. "... in fact, it makes me feel full of energy..."
Hun blushed some more, as some ink fell off his nose. Mirii giggled a little.
"... I don't know what happened to me, but..." Her eyes closed. "... I will make sure to keep this feature for as long as possible..."
