The smoke and dust cleared off. The shockwave from the blast shook the ground to its very core. The chasm that had appeared inside the wards of Hogwarts from where the zombies were pouting in collapsed as everyone else took shelter. The blinding light forced them all to shut their eyes out of fear as it neared the castle.

Daphne looked at Hermione; that smile on her lips, that confidant look on her face. They were here.

The golden glow appeared as the dust settled. It reflected off of Hermione's eyes as her smile widened, a new look of hope and happiness.

Flitwick tried covering Luna's body with his own when the impact happened. He had never admitted it but inside his heart she was his favorite Ravenclaw student. Her honesty, her blunt truthful nature was something he had rarely seen in any student before. To see her like this in his arms, her breathing stopped, her eyes closed it broke Filius to the core of his heart when suddenly her body jerked.

At first he thought he was dreaming it. Perhaps it was because of the explosion? But then she slowly opened her eyes, a different glint in them, a small yet hopeful smile. Her body then suddenly started to glow. Filius couldn't speak seeing what was happening in front of him as Luna's body suddenly felt lighter…a lot lighter. Then he realized she had started to float. Her eyes started to glow and her wounds healed.

Filius stood up, his mouth agape as he watched her rise higher in the air. The students and villagers surrounding him also watched this happen – the same expressions of shock and disbelief on their faces.

"You made it," Hermione said looking towards the golden glow behind the dust. As it cleared Neville and Daphne also saw but they had already felt their presence.

In front of them stood Gohan in his super saiyan form, his hair standing straight, his muscles a lot bulky but lean at the same time. He was like the proper definition of masculine physique. The golden glow of super saiyan wrapped him all around, emanating a warmth glow that even the three could feel. Then the three turned around hearing the ruckus behind them and their eyes fell on Luna. She was in the air, her eyes glowing brightly and her hands apart as she floated as high as the astronomy tower. It was then that the three of them realized that the wards around the castle had been restored. The shimmer surrounding them was back…a lot more stronger and a lot more resilient as the smoke settled and in front of them stood Tenille, a different glow in her eyes along with a smile on her lips.

The three of them noticed someone floating behind her. They couldn't miss the long messy hair but he sure had changed a lot. Daphne couldn't help but smile as she looked at Harry as he slowly came down and stood behind Tenille. He then turned his right wrist in a weird manner and a glow covered it. When it dissipated he was standing there holding the sword of Gryffindor.

Gohan stepped forward, walking towards the edge of the ward. He was on the inside of it unlike Harry who was on the outside. He looked back at Hermione and the others. "You three need to go to your house towers," he said. Do not worry about the castle. She won't be able to enter anymore."

The three nodded without questioning when Luna's voice was heard inside their head. "The wards around the castle have been erected," her voice said inside everyone's head. "Please head inside the castle now."

Everyone looked at each other. Some of them looked at Hermione, Daphne and Neville while some looked at the faculties. McGonagall got a nod from the three and instructed everyone to head inside. They wouldn't question her instructions as they all formed a line and started heading inside. In five minutes everyone was inside the castle except for the bodies that lay around on the school grounds.

"You, too," Gohan said looking at the three behind him.

Hermione walked towards him before stopping at inches away from his face and kissed him softly on the lips. "Give her hell," she said before turning around and accompanying Neville and Daphne towards the castle. Gohan watched her go until they were inside the castle. He turn turned around and could see Tenille forming another energy ball. From his senses he knew it was at least ten times of what she had thrown at the castle before. He sighed. This would take a little effort.

Harry stood there, watching everyone head inside. Because of Gohan appearing inside the barrier the castle could regain its powers from him. This was why they had planned for Gohan to be inside the wards. Somehow it had also affected Luna whose wounds got healed as well. Gohan didn't look out of power which was a good sign. Their training was paying off but it was too soon to be judging. He whirled the sword in his hand as he looked at it. he had summoned it when they were inside the hyperbolic time chamber and was surprised that the sword had appeared in his hand crossing through dimensions.

He walked towards her as she prepared to throw another, a lot stronger energy ball at the castle. There was this look on her face that he couldn't miss. She looked in content and satisfied as she threw the ball right at the castle.

It only took ten seconds as the descend was slow but heavy. The density of the energy ball was so high it formed a rather thick layer of air in front of it. It was so dense that anyone could see it. it removed everything that was in its path as it impacted with the wards of the castle.

The wards shimmered brightly as its construct was made visible because of the impact. McGonagall who had the knowledge of wards and its construction in a rather detailed manner couldn't help but notice it and realized that the wards were made of nothing but pure energy. She could see no magical webbings and/or layered streams of magic spells embedded in it. It was completely made out of pure energy. Her eyes then fell on Gohan who was now standing with his hands raised up high as if he was holding and trying to push back the energy ball. She couldn't see his face because he had his back facing her as he and some other people watched from the third floor corridor.

The castle or rather Luna had given total control of the castle wards to Gohan who now was manipulating it according to his will and had merged it with his own ki. This was important so that he could continuously supply power and maintain the structure and strength of the wards. As he saw the impact he felt it, too. This would be a bit difficult to throw away as he raised both his hands and caught Tenille's energy ball using the castle's wards and closed his eyes, focusing on his powers. It was important for him to maintain a balance or else the wards would form a weak link between their construct and Tenille would definitely notice that.

His ki flared as Hermione, Daphne and Neville felt it. The golden glow now surrounded him and about twenty meters of land around him as he powered himself up. They also noticed that as he did so the wards shimmered and glowed brighter. So he was directly connected with the wards around the castle, Hermione thought.

Gohan could feel her power pushing him down but he wasn't done yet. He focused on his core and used his magic to manipulate his ki and ultimately the wards with which he was connected to and suddenly the ward started taking form.

Everyone watched in amazement as the wards around the castle took the form of a giant monkey. Hermione and others knew rather well what form it actually was of as Gohan completed his move, the energy ball caught firmly in his ozaru form which he had made from using his ki and magic as he threw it towards Tenille. She simply dodged it allowing it to land somewhere far but the explosion still was rocking as it shook everything that was on the ground rather hard.

The wards came back to their normal form as Gohan lowered his powers and looked at her. "That was better than the last one," he said.

"It sure was," she said as she walked towards him. She stopped inches away from the ward and looked at him. Raising a finger she touched the ward. It sparked when her finger touched it, smoking and burning her finger at the point of contact. She removed it as Gohan saw it healed itself.

"A neat little trick," he said

"Courtesy of your Namekian friend," she replied. Gohan's smile vanished. When they'd arrived on earth he had realized something bad had happened as he couldn't feel the ki of almost the entire planet's population and his friends.

"You wanted us," Harry said walking towards her, the sword swinging in his hand. "Here we are."

"I wanted the guardian," she said.

"You're looking at them," Gohan said as he disappeared right in front of her eyes. She knew he had used his instant transmission technique as she turned around and found him and Harry standing beside each other. Harry put the sword back in its sheath on his back as they got into position.

"Or rather him," said Harry as they joined hands and a bright light surrounded them all of a sudden. The light was so strong it decimated all of her dementors and the rest of her armies as she looked on with eyes wide as saucers.

Everyone looking from the castle couldn't miss it either as the glow filled the entire land with its brightness. It also emitted some sort of power or energy as the ward shimmered when the light or rather the waves coming out of it touched them.

Hermione, Daphne and Neville watched on as they felt something in them. Their powers were rising. It wasn't much but it was there. Luna's voice rang inside their heads as their faces expressed their look of surprise and hope.

"The guardian is here," Luna said as the light went out with a bright flash almost blinding everyone..

The dark clouds had gone. Her armies had gone. The wards had a new glow in it and the cold that covered the entire land had been replaced with a warm feeling as she stood there watching with an expressionless face as the dust around them…around him settled.

Once it had there he stood. He wore a cloaked outfit covering him from bottom to top with a large hood covering his head just above his eyes. His sword had remained unchanged and sheathed on his back but there was also a shied in his left hand made out of pure energy which vanished after a couple of seconds. He looked down at her, standing at seven feet tall and heavy. He then looked at the castle as Luna saw him standing right in front of herself in the runes room. Her smile and the glow in her eyes said it all. He had returned. He had returned once more to protect her and her students she held dear.

"A merge," Tenille said smiling. "I didn't see that coming. Perhaps I should've killed her before she gave birth to you. Should've ended the plague of her bloodline," she said talking about Gohan's mother. "It looks like I will have to deal with you after all. So what do I call you then? I assume you have a name since it can't be that of the two of you together."

"It sort of is," he said in a voice that sounded to be a mix of Harry and Gohan. "We came up with this when we trained in this form." She smiled as her hands sparked with raw dark magic. the air around her went dense as she showed them a glimpse of her power as she rose in the air, coming at level with his height until rising even higher.

"So, what do I call you?" she asked.

He smiled unsheathing his sword as his ki shield glowed brighter than before as he, too, rose in the air. "Son Potter."
