"... what are they doing over there..."

Mirii leaned against the multidoor, as her eyes were pointed at the two men guarding the shoji.

"... what are they deciding...?" She sighed, while lowering her eyebrows. "What Hunley is-gah!" Her eyes squeezed. "I hate being thrown here! I can't here anything important"

Suddenly, the two men stepped each away from the middle of the shoji. Mirii's focus went back onto the reality, as her eyes grew a bit and her mouth stood open.

The shoji finally opened, as a group of Inkling adults walked out of the hallway. Mirii scanned each walking Inkling, as she frowned after each scan.

"Where is Hunley?" Mirii approached the walking group.

"We must talk with Silin." The leading woman stopped in front of Mirii.

"Hmpf!" Mirii folded her arms. "What do you want to do with Silin...?"

"It's important for us." One of the men walked from the leading woman's right side, as he aimed his eyes at the multidoor.

"How so?" Mirii's eyes squeezed a little.

"You are not involved into this." The leading raced towards the door-

Someone grabbed her left arm. The grabbed woman turned over the left, noticing another Inkling man holding her.

"She must know." He nodded. "Mirii has been helpful for our Shrine."

The other man had his right hand on Mirii's left shoulder: the girl grabbed the hand, twisting it with ease. The man screamed, as he managed to pull his hurting hand away from the girl.

"What were you trying to do?!" Mirii lowered her head, as her face assumed a darker red tone.

"Ouch, ouch!" The man gritted his teeth. "Step aside, mortal! Don't you see we are in a hurry?!"

"Were you paying attention?" The other man approached him, folding his arms. "None of us is going inside the hallway."

"None of us is doing what we were supposed to be doing!" The hurt man waved his arms. "The High Council is gonna punish us, if we don't do something about this!"

"The High Council also wanted Mirii's help." The man squeezed his eyes a bit, almost growling. "Don't you remember what they said at first?"

"Are we gonna waste more time with this pointless discussion?!" The man opened his arms widely.

"I want Mirii's help!" Another woman moved near the other man.

Me too!

I don't!

Where is that kid?!

Mirii must help us!

Suddenly, the adult Inklings began talking back at each other, as some of them frowned and even threw fists up in the air.

"... why they need Silin...?" Mirii's irises moved onto her left side. "Is she able to help Fara in some capacities...?"

The girl nodded, as she began walking past the adults and make it to the stairs.

"Where are you going?!"

Mirii stood on the top of the stairs.

"You stood in front of the entrance for all this time and now you decided to leave?" A male voice ringed through her ears.

She got annoyed by you!

I will follow her!

Three Inklings walked near the girl.

"Where were you going?" A short, fat woman clasped her hands.

"... I want my answers..." Mirii's eyes closed.

"Master Hun told us that Master Fara's alter ego is within Silin." A tall, slim man waved his right hand up and down. "And her alter ego is our only way to talk with herself..."

"Master Fara doesn't know how to snap out of her sleep..." The short woman rose her eyebrows. "... but if her alter ego can communicate the method, then Master Fara will know the procedure for waking up..."

"So it was true that she can help Fara..." Mirii had her eyes already at the incoming steps. "Silin is not in her room."

The girl took one step towards the first stair step. Immediately, a man ran past the girl.

"Hold it!" Mirii gritted her teeth.

"We can't waste any more time!" The man kept his run, as he already moved past the middle of the stairs. "Master Fara needs us!"

"You don't even know" Mirii's sight noticed more Inklings going past her. "Hey!" She frowned at all of them. "You don't even have any idea where Silin is!"

"They read your mind, Mirii." The short woman sighed, as she observed half the group moving towards the right side once they reached the lower floor. "You were holding your thoughts just fine... until you mentioned Silin."

"Hmpf!" Mirii's head rose, as her arms folded. "I obtained what I wanted..."

"They should had told you from the beginning." The woman smiled at her. "That way, we would had been faster than this."

"... speaking of Silin... I should consume some nutritious food as well." Mirii took herself a step on the stair step. "Not that Silin is consuming anything healthy... I need a healthy balance of both the body and the mind."

"Do you want to eat something?" The short woman giggled. "I do have some appetite..."

"You always have an appetite!" The slim man rolled his eyes.

The other two Inklings bursted into laughter, while Mirii grew a smile on her face.

Mirii was stepping on the lonely hallway, followed by her group of followers. Soon, she found the hall and the remaining members of that improvised team.

"... what is happening now?" Mirii snorted and grimaced at the same time. "Why do I always find more predicaments, when I'm about to solve the problem?"

"Don't worry!" A male voice bursted out of the reuniting group. "We will promise you will return back to normal, once you finish all your tasks."

"... I'm almost arrived." The girl opened her mouth-

"Thank you, thank you all..."

...

Mirii's eyes grew a bit.

"... who is that...?!" Her eyebrows lowered too. "Who are they talking with...?"

Mirii cleared her voice, as she shouted: the group all twisted towards herself, as they then decide to step aside from their position.

As 8 Inklings moved from a side, Mirii grabbed her right tentacle and petted it. The remaining Inkling woman was pretty tall, wearing tight shorts and a familiar shirt, coupled with a backwards cap as her headgear.

"Who are you?" Mirii snorted, as she advanced towards the unknown woman.

"M-Mirii..." The woman rose her eyebrows, sighing. "... you too can't see it, huh..."

"Hmpf!" Finally Mirii arrived in front of the tall woman, as she folded her arms. "What kind of expectations do you have, if this is the first time"

All the sudden, Mirii's irises shrunk.

"... wasn't the cap the same one wore by Silin...? ... ... ..." Her eyes blinked twice, as her irises grew back after the second blink. "Are you... ... Silin?!"

"I-I am!" Silin smiled widely, as she clasped her hands near her head's right side. "You recognized"

"Wh-what happened to your age?!" Mirii's face went pale. "Why in the world did you grew older?!"

"I-I don't know!" Sweat jumped off Silin's head. "Mom also doesn't know...!"

"Your mother cannot know anything regarding the world of magical phenomenons." Mirii stared at some of the Shrine citizens who were standing near Silin. "You, on the other hand...!"

"Silin is getting used with Master Fara's alter ego..." A man stepped in front of Mirii. "Now she is able to show part of it to us."

"Can she return back to normal?" Mirii growled a little, thrusting her left shoulder.

"Only when Master Fara's alter ego is gone from Silin's body..." The man nodded.

"... then, you must return inside Hunley's room and see if you can communicate with Fara in some capacity." Mirii's head rose.

"You too, huh..." Silin scratched the back of her head. "I was enjoying this older age, you know..."

"You are much younger than this, Silin!" Mirii lowered her head all the way down. "Get rid of Fara's alter ego and return back to normal..."

"... oooh..." Silin's eyelids lowered to the middle, while a snickering smile grew out of nowhere. "... you are pretty envious of my nice height, huh..."

"Grrrr!" Mirii clenched her fists. "Don't waste any more time! Go back inside Hunley's room!" She let out one more roar. "Now!"

"... yeah, might as well..." Silin walked off her position, bringing her hands behind her nack.

Mirii watched her friend walking down the hallway, followed by the Shrine citizen surrounding her before...

"... I hope we can do something for you, Silin..."
