And that's it everyone! True Mates is finished! Thank you all for keeping with the story and keeping faith in me! I'll start working on the sequel soon! Love you!

They dropped Henry and Lucy off at Ellen's before going to school, Bobby would be taking Sam after school to pick up his things. "Okay, I think we have everything. Naomi will be here Sunday to pick him up." Dean said dropping the final bag.

"If not, I know where to get it. Now go before you boys are late." Ellen said taking the sleeping pup from Cas' arms.

The climbed into Mary's car, deciding to leave baby at home. Mary parked at the end of the parking lot and the boys grabbed all their gear and headed towards the bus where Bobby and other students were waiting.

"Alright, single file line onto the bus that way I can get a head count!" Bobby yelled and walked to the bus door. Charlie, Dean and Cas went to the back of the line, they were in no hurry what so ever. Downside of being the last in line, they had to sit towards the front by the parents.

Charlie sat in the empty seat next to Dean and Cas, who sat together and held hands. They still had a few hours to go so Dean slumped down a bit and laid his head on Cas' shoulder and fell asleep.

"Dean. Wake up, we're almost there." Cas said softly and shook Dean's leg.

"No." Dean mumbled.

Cas laughed, "yes, come on." he shook Dean's leg again. Dean groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. They got off the bus and headed for the campground and started setting up tents.

"Uh, Dean?" Garth said coming up behind him in the tent.

"What's up Garth?" Dean asked while shaking out his sleeping bag.

"Do you mind if I sleep by the door? I have a small bladder and have to get up a lot to use the bathroom. I just thought it would be easier that way I'm not stepping over you guys." Garth blushed.

"Oh. Yeah, no problem." Dean said moving his things down, Aaron had already claimed the end so it left Dean in the middle. He finished getting his sleeping bag and pillow unpacked and went outside. He walked directly across the camp area to where Cas' tent was and heard arguing.

"Just pick a fucking side Jordan." Cas huffed.

"Fuck off Castiel, I gotta figure out where the most even spot would be." Jordan fired back.

"Pick a damn spot or I'll pick one for you." Cas growled.

"Jesus, what got you panties in a knot." Jordan said and threw his stuff in the back corner of the tent.

Dean just waited for Cas to come out, trying not to laugh at Cas' misery. After a few minutes Cas popped out of the tent with a deep scowl on his face. "You know frowning like that's going to give you wrinkles." Dean teased.

"I'm going to have grey hair before this trip is over with." Cas grumbled and took Dean's hand and ventured off onto a hiking trail. Charlie caught up to them not long after.

"Am I interrupting?" She asked once she caught up.

"No, just getting away from everyone." Dean said.

"Darn. It's fun cock blocking people." Charlie sighed.

"Weird cuz aren't you always encouraging Dean and I to do it. In fact you often kidnap Henry." Cas said bumping shoulders with the red head.

"Well, I mean… Someone should be getting some. Dorothy's away at college and it sucks. Plus Henry's entertaining." Charlie shrugged. "Besides, I know for a fact you two did it last night."

"Wha- how would you know that?" Dean asked his cheeks turning red.

"You've been walking funny this whole time." Charlie said.

Dean didn't say anything just looked down at the ground. They turned back once they realized it was getting close to supper time. They found Bobby and one of the mom's pulling burgers and hotdogs off the makeshift grill.

When it was time to go to bed, Cas and Dean took their time coming back from the bathrooms. "This is going to suck." Dean grumbled.

"I know, but it's just for a few days." Cas said and pulled Dean in for a kiss before they went into their separate tents.

"Yo, Novak. You and Winchester have a quickie before bed?" Ben and Jordan laughed.

"No. And it would be none of your business if we did." Cas said climbing into his sleeping bag.

"Is he gonna be okay with out his little alpha to hold him through the night?" Jordan laughed and got a high five from Ben. Cas just ignored them and went to sleep.

The next day went pretty much the same as the first Charlie, Dean and Cas hiked and walked along the little river. When they got tired, they headed back to the campground. They sat down at one of the fire pits and talked.

About an hour had gone by before everyone in the campground heard yelling. "MR. SINGER! MR. SINGER!" Jordan yelled while he and another alpha carried Ben.

"What happened?" Bobby asked while Mary ran to her tent and brought out a huge first aid kit.

"A snake bit him. I'm pretty sure it was a cobra." Jordan said freaking out.

"You idiot, there's no cobras in Kansas." Dean said.

Mary pulled up Ben's pant leg and examined the bite, "it wasn't poisonous. Probably just a bull snake." she said and dug out disinfectant, antibiotics and a bandage. "This is going to sting." she warned before dumping some of the disinfectant on his leg.

"Son of a bitch!" Ben yelled.

"I told you." she sighed and filled a syringe full of antibiotics.

"What are you doing with that?" Ben asked starting to panic.

"I'm going to give you a shot so you don't get sick." Mary said and jabbed the needle into his arm before he could say anything. "There. All better. I bet you're glad Winchester's mommy was here huh?" Mary sassed and packed everything up.

Dean fought back laughter and just pulled Cas and Charlie away. While Bobby called Ben's parents to inform them of what happened.

It was day 3 of the camping trip and Dean was bored. "Why did it have to be 4 days?" he groaned and slumped into Cas.

"I dunno but I'm ready to go home." Cas said.

"I miss Henry." Dean sighed and Cas agreed with him.

"Let's try and find a trail we haven't hiked yet." Cas suggested.

After a few hours of hiking and discovering cool rocks they decided to head back. They stopped in their tracks when they got back to the camp ground and saw 3 cop cars and at least 6 cops standing there.

"Dean! There you are!" Mary yelled and waved them over.

"What's going on?" Dean asked, starting to panic. "I-is Henry okay, Sammy? What?" He asked, is breathing starting to pick up.

"They're fine. Dean… It's Alistair. He escaped." Mary said calmly and Cas caught Dean before he hit the ground.

When Dean woke up there was a small crowd around him and his mom was checking him over.

"This can't be happening." Dean wheezed. "How?" he asked.

"We're not 100% sure." one of the officers said.

"I-I need to go, I need to protect Henry!" Dean said trying to get up but Cas stopped him.

"Don't move too fast." he said and helped Dean to his feet.

"We've got Henry, Sam and Naomi all under 24 hour police supervision until he has been caught." the same officer said. "We'll be here as well and escort you back to the school."

Bobby broke up the crowd and explained that everyone was to stay in the campground and not wander off and that they'd be leaving first thing in the morning.

"I-I can't." Dean said still in a panic when it was time to go to bed.

"I'm going to share a tent with one of the other moms, we've all agreed that you and Cas can share my tent for tonight due to the circumstances." Mary explained and Dean felt like crying.

"Thank you." he whispered and hugged his mom.

The rest of the night, he could feel everyone watching him. He didn't care, he was terrified and he just wanted to get home to Henry. Every twig snap or movement in the trees Dean would jump. Charlie and Cas sat on either side of him and tried to get him to eat something but he just shook his head and would push it away.

The grabbed their stuff out of their old tents and moved it into Mary's before going to bed. Except Dean didn't sleep, no matter what Cas said or did. "Dean, you need to get some sleep."

"I can't sleep knowing that maniac is out there." Dean said staring at the tent door, expecting Alistair to come through. "I can't sleep until I know he's locked away again and I know Henry is safe."

"They'll find him." Cas said and pulled Dean close to him. "I'm not letting him hurt you again."

True to his word, Dean didn't sleep one bit. He laid there and listened to Cas' soft snores and listened for any movement outside of the tent. Dean almost screamed when Cas' grip tightened around his waist, he calmed down quickly and rolled over to see Cas looking at him all sleepily.

"You didn't sleep did you?" Cas asked and Dean just shook his head no.

They got dressed and packed their things. When they came out of the tent most of the tents were taken down and on the bus, Bobby and Mary were talking to a couple of cops and when Mary noticed the boys she waved them over.

"Any news?" Dean asked.

"He was spotted near my house late last night." Bobby said. "Ellen's fine, she noticed him when she was coming home from the Roadhouse and she immediately turned around and went to the station."

"Oh my god." Dean whimpered and Cas just pulled him close.

"I'm gathering he wasn't caught though." Cas said.

"No. We searched the area thoroughly." One of the officers said.

"Wait, what about Sammy?! He would have been alone at Ellens!" Dean said really starting to panic.

"He's fine, there were cops at the house all night, when they got the call they searched the house." Mary said running her hand up and down Dean's arm.

"Henry?" Dean asked, almost too afraid to.

"He's alright. Same situation as Sam, cops went in Naomi's apartment and they both were fine." Mary said again.

They got on the bus and Dean felt like it took forever to get back to the school. The ride was almost dead silent, everyone knowing something bad was going on and they all gave Dean a wide range.

Dean watched all the other students get into their cars and drive home. For once in his life he was jealous of all of them. They get to go home to their families and not worry about their safety.

"Dean? Come on, Charlie's going to take us to get Henry that way your mom can go get Sam and Lucy." Cas said and gently grabbed his arm.

"An officer is going to follow us." Charlie said before heading to her car.

Dean followed them once he made sure his mom was in the car safely. He was about to step off the curb when someone wrapped their arms around him and covered his mouth.

Dean still let out a scream and struggled to get out of his capture's grip. "Stop moving or I kill everyone you love." the nasally voice hissed in his ear. Alistair's grip loosened over his mouth and Dean bit on of his fingers as hard as he could.

"Fuck!" Alistair gasped and let go.

"CAS!" Dean screamed and Alistair grabbed him again and started pulling him off somewhere.

"DEAN!" Cas yelled and took off in a sprint towards him, ignoring one of the officer's orders for him to stay put.

Alistair threw Dean on the sidewalk and turned to fight Cas, who tackled him and started throwing punches. Dean pushed himself up and winced at the scrape on his knees.

The cop threw Cas off Alistair who was laughing and cuffed him before hauling him to his car and Cas quickly ran over to Dean.

"Are you okay?" he asked and Dean just leaned forward and puked. Cas jumped back avoiding the splash and moved to Dean's side. Charlie came over a few seconds later.

"What the fuck?!" She gasped and her and Cas helped Dean up. "Do you want to go to the hospital?" she asked looking at his knee.

"No." Dean rasped. "I need to get to Henry."

"Alright, I'll have mom bring him to Bobby and Ellen's. Your mom needs to clean your knee." Cas said. The officer checked on them before taking Alistair back to prison.

The walked into Bobby and Ellen's and everyone swarmed them. Once of the officers informing of them on what just happened. "Dean, honey are you okay?" Mary asked and Dean just looked at them.

"What do you think?!" He shouted, not angry with them but scared and sick of people asking him that.

"I'm sorry." Mary said softly, "let's get that knee taken care of." she said and ushered him into the bathroom. "Cas, can you bring him some shorts?"

He ran out to Charlie's car and dug through his bag since it was the closest and pulled out a pair of his shorts and brought them into the bathroom. Dean was sitting up on the counter while Mary rummaged through the first aid kit.

"I'll turn around, put those on, it'll be easier to take care of your knee." Mary said and turned to face the wall.

It had been a week since the Alistair incident and Dean was slowly starting to get back to normal. He knew he was going to have to study extra hard before finals since he barely paid attention during class.

The seniors only had a week left of classes before graduation and everything was chaotic around the house and school. Mary had taken 3 weeks off of work to get ready for the boys' party and to just have some time off.

Charlie of course was Valedictorian and Cas was salutatorian so they were busy writing speeches on top of studying for finals, so they haven't hung out in a while.

The night before finals Dean could barely sleep. "Stop tossing. You'll do fine." Cas groaned after Dean turned around for the 6th time in an hour.

"How do you know that?" Dean whispered.

"Because you're one of the smartest people I know. Now shut up and sleep." Which Dean barely did.

The next week was the last of the finals and both Dean and Cas passed the ones they've done already. "I told you, you had nothing to worry about." Cas teased.

"Shut up." Dean grinned.

"Charlie Bradbury." Crowley announced and everyone clapped as she walked across the stage.

"Castiel Novak." He called out and Dean whooped as he walked across.

"Dean Winchester." You could tell Crowley was getting bored by time it got to Dean.

After they threw their caps in the air they were free to go, after what felt like 3,000 pictures they were finally able to leave and go to the Roadhouse for their party. They had convinced Charlie to just combine hers with theirs to make it easier for everyone.

They each had their own designated table for cards and presents, Ellen had closed down for the day so there wouldn't be any interruptions and she and Mary had spent 3 days making all of the food and cupcakes.

Later, after most people had left and it was just family, Ellen brought over three beers to Charlie, Dean and Cas. She winked before walking away.

"Well. Here's to the future." Charlie laughed.

"To the future!" Cas and Dean said at the same time and they clinked their bottles together.
