Episode 77

*Netherworld Hospital, Overlord's Castle*

"I tried to warn you, Prince," Etna sighed and shrugged helplessly. "I told you that Gamindustri was full of those sexy busty women you didn't like, but you just wouldn't heed me..."

"Oh shut up!" Laharl protested from his bed, a cold compress on his forehead. "How was I supposed to know that stupid-looking robot was so powerful?!"

"Well, then, you should've cut your losses after losing your robot," his subordinate shot back. "You'll never be as good an Overlord as your father at this rate..."

"Grrrr...!" Laharl crossed his arms and pouted.

However, unbeknownst to them, a certain vampire had overheard their conversation... (A robot powerful enough to defeat Laharl and Etna? At last! My chance for revenge is finally at hand...!) He shuffled off before he could be noticed by the others...

*Leanbox City, two days later*

"I'm so glad we have a chance to be together... as a couple, I mean," Peashy said as she and Adrian walked down the street together.

"Yeah, our relationship's kinda been on the back burner recently, hasn't it?" her fiancee agreed. "Still, I'm not gonna be able to fully relax until we know for certain that Etna's given up on conquering us..."

"Yeah, well, if she stops laughing over what Lady Vert did to Laharl..." the blonde shuddered in disgust. "I'm really glad I didn't have to do what she did to that brat..."

"Me too," Adrian agreed. "That's just not like you at all, Peach..." Just then his phone rang. "Uh-oh, let's hope it's not another attack..." Checking the caller ID, he realized, "It's Sergei!"

"Sergei?!" Peashy gasped. "Wasn't he supposed to be watching over the Nepgeardam's repairs?!"

"Yeah, he was!" Quickly answering, he said, "Sergei! What's the sitrep?"

"Oy, comrade Adrian, we have big trouble!" the gunnery sergeant replied. "Not long after MAGES. left, we were getting ready to move out when we suddenly got hit with a blitzkrieg from demons and cat-women!"

"Nekomata," Adrian grunted. "Peach, the demons must be going after the Nepgeardam!" he relayed. "Call the other Rangers and tell them to get their butts down to the stadium A-SAP!"

"Roger that!" Peashy nodded as she got out her myPhone.

"Sergei, what's your position right now?!" the petty officer went back to his phone.

"I managed to retreat and hide in the women's locker room!" Sergei said. "I got a hold of some artillery, if only I had a diversion, I could strike those demons before they knew what hit them!"

"Alright, hold your position! The Armored Rangers are on the way!" Adrian ordered, promptly hanging up and grabbing his Armor Morpher...

*A short time later, at the stadium...*

"We got all the soldiers knocked out and tied up-nya!" a Nekomata saluted to her superior, a long-haired vampire.

"Yes, they fell to our charms rather easily," a succubus added with a smirk.

"Excellent!" the vampire exclaimed. "Now, I shall claim this robot for myself, and use it to get my revenge on that Etna! And after her, I will destroy Laharl and become the Overlord!"

"Just as long as we receive... compensation for services rendered, Master Maderas," a succubus said suggestively.

"You mean we get paid, right-nya?" a Nekomata clarified.

"Stop right there, demons!" two female voices cried out, said demons turning to see a busty blonde woman and a sleek black suit of armor, both wielding spears.

"And who might you two be?" Maderas the vampire asked, mildly intrigued.

"I am Vert, CPU of Leanbox!" the blonde announced. "And this is my Oracle, Chika!"

"But you may refer to me as Black Raven," the ranger spoke up. "I assume you are the leader, vampire? How bold of one of your kind to attack us in broad daylight!"

"Do you believe everything you read in fairytales?" Maderas shook his head. "But, no matter! You will not stop me from claiming this robot for my own! Minions, destroy them!" The succubi and cat-women charged at their opponents...

(Music- 'Elegy', Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory)

"Inbetween Spear!" Vert intoned, shooting several succubi out of the sky.

"Rainy Ratnapura!" Black Raven cried as she assaulted the lead Nekomata with rapid spear-thrusts, defeating her at once! The others attempted to dog-pile on her, only for the Ranger to backflip away! "I think not!"

"There's too many of them!" Vert cried as several more Succubi flew in to attack... but then several explosive shots downed quite a few of them, as Nisa and A-Mac rode on the scene on their motorcycle!

"Have no fear, the Blue Falcon Armored Ranger is here!" Nicole said as she dismounted.

"And so is her partner, Yellow Tiger!" Arthur added as he also dismounted and took his stance.

"Your sense of timing is excellent as usual, Nisa!" Chika observed.

"Nisa?!" Maderas gasped in recognition. "That so-called 'Hero of Justice'?"

"'So-called'?! C'mere and say that to my face!" Blue Falcon challenged.

"Don't rise to his bait, Nicole!" Yellow Tiger cautioned.

"Oh, my," a succubus floated down next to the yellow Armored Ranger, "You're stuck with someone as underdeveloped as Nisa? Wouldn't you prefer a real wo-" She was cut off as the man gave her a left straight to the face, breaking her nose!

"Shove off, slut!" Arthur yelled in disgust. "Dad warned me about your kind! He said always pick brains over beauty!"

"And yet she has neither," another succubus taunted.

"All right, that's it!" Nisa's eyes glowed yellow under her helmet's visor, charging in and hitting the demon with a left straight, then sending her into the sky with a two-fisted upward swing, before jumping above her and coming down with a powerful kick that enveloped the succubus in twin flares of energy in the shape of a V! "V Extreme!" Nisa intoned as she landed a safe distance away, the energy-V detonating in a violent explosion upon contacting the ground, destroying the succubus! "At least I'm not weak like you!"

"Somebone touched a ner-be," observed the succubus with the broken nose, still holding her face. But then she was run though by Black Raven's spear, fading into light.

"You were wide open!" Chika taunted, ducking a kick from a Nekomata and kicking her away! She then used her spear as a pole vault to dodge another few cat women converging on her, causing them to collide in a ball of claws and fur! "Sylhet Spear!" the Oracle called, the giant lance impaling one Nekomata and sending the rest sprawling!

Meanwhile, Blue Falcon and Yellow Tiger were engaged in hand-to-hand combat with a few other Nekomatas, managing to hold their own. A few attempted to blitz the duo with lightning speed attacks, but the two being back-to-back effectively allowed them to parry every strike! "Cat Wave Z!" another one intoned, Nicole and Arthur swiftly separating and jumping away, the energy beam blasting a few other cat-women into ashes instead! "Oh no-nya! What have I done?! I'll never get the good ending now-nya...!"

"All you're getting is a Game Over!" Nisa taunted as she shot the Nekomata in the face with her Prinny Gun, killing her!

"Alright, that's enough-nya!" The rangers turned to see four Nekomata restraining Vert (two for each arm)! "Drop your weapons, or the booby blonde dies!"

"B-booby blonde...?! What nerve!" the CPU grunted, trying not to sneeze from the cat dander.

"Shoot...! What do we do, Nicole?!" Yellow Tiger turned to his partner.

"Ugh, I dunno!" Blue Falcon grunted through gritted teeth.

"Alright, alright... I'm putting my weapon down! Just don't herm my darling Vert!" Chika said as she set her spear on the ground... Looking over at Nisa, she nodded and tilted her head slightly... getting the hint, the Hero of Justice set her gun down as well.

"Dammit...!" Having no weapon on him at the moment, A-Mac simply raised his hands in the air.

"You didn't really think the four of you could defeat us all, did you~?" a succubus taunted.

"Maybe not," Black Raven demurred. "But you forgot one thing..."

"What's that-nya?" A Nekomata challenged.

"The whole team isn't here yet!" Suddenly, a double-pronged energy blade impaled one of the cat women holding Vert through the head, while a shock baton hit and zapped another one! Vert quickly took advantage, transforming to HDD to force the last two Nekomatas off her!

The demons looked in the direction the blade and baton came from, seeing a Jeep drive up, the two passengers swiftly jumping out and assuming their battle poses! "Red Grizzly and White Gorilla are here!" Peashy declared.

"Get them!" The Nekomatas promptly charged at the two...

"Hit the deck!" Adrian suddenly yelled, he and Peach throwing themselves to the ground, the other rangers doing the same, while Green Heart simply flew straight up into the air...

(Music- 'Go Green Ranger Go'- Power Rangers Redux)

...as a bazooka round suddenly exploded in the Nekomatas' midst, insta-gibbing quite a few a of them! "Hey demons! You missed one!" Sergei taunted from his military vehicle as he dropped the bazooka, before taking the mounted gatling gun and opening fire, the cat-women screaming as dozen of rounds ripped through their ranks! "Ha ha! Cry some more, you oversized kittens!"

"I hate when he says that," Peach grunted as she covered her head.

"Let him have his fun," her fiancee grunted next to her.

"Well, aren't you armed to the teeth," a succubus purred as she floated down next to the green-clad soldier. "I like a man like tha- Oooh!" she grunted in pain as a combat knife was thrust into her gut!

"I don't think so, you sex-demon!" Sergei growled as he promptly used his knife to cut his enemy's stomach open, before stabbing her in the heart, the demon fading into light! "I happen to be happily married, thank you!"

"Look out, Sergei!" Peashy yelled as a few more succubi bore down on him, the soldier quickly reacting and rolling out of the vehicle before they could grab him, grabbing his assault rifle and riddling them with bullets, killing them as well!

"Who is this guy-nya?!" another Nekomata cried in dismay.

"You can just call me Green Lion!" Sergei answered as turned his weapon on the cat, opening fire and hitting his mark, the furry demon promptly collapsing and fading into light.

Meanwhile, the others had rejoined the battle, White Gorilla and Red Grizzly taking on the remaining Nekomata with their CQC skills, breaking a few necks in the process! Green Heart slashed at the succubi in the sky with her spear, while Blue Falcon helped her by shooting down a few with her Prinny Gun! Black Raven and Yellow Tiger found themselves working together, the latter stunning a Nekomata with a few body blows before his companion ran it through with her spear, rinse and repeat.

"Hey!" Nisa suddenly realized something. "Where's that vampire at?!" The heroes looked toward the Nepgeardam, and sure enough, Maderas was standing on the monitor-head!

"I think not!" Green Heart started to fly over, only for her path to be blocked by a group of succubi! "Get out of my way! Rainy Ratnapura!" Her skill only defeated one succubus, as the others broke off to surround her! "I can't get to him!"

"I'll handle it!" Peach asserted. "Adrian, cover for me!" she ordered as she ran off towards the Nepgeardam!

"Roger that!" Adrian nodded as he equipped his assault rifle, holding the Nekomatas back with automatic fire, Sergei soon joining him at his side!

"Just like old times, eh comrade?" 'Green Lion' chuckled as he changed clips, before firing again.

"You know it, gunny!" Red Grizzly concurred.

Meanwhile, Maderas had found the hatch, but seemed to have trouble getting it open. "This door is quite tough... maybe I should just blast it open..."

"Hold it right there, blood-sucker!" White Gorilla cried as she landed from her high jump. "This isn't your robot!"

"Is that so?" the Nosferatu turned to face the new arrival. "A single human dares to challenge me? How laughable! Chaos Fire!"

Peach easily dodged the fireballs by rolling to the side. "Oooh, fire, I'm so scared!" she snarked, making a long jump to close the distance.

"Chaos Swarm!" Maderas intoned, transforming into a swarm of bats, forcing the Armored Ranger to put up arms to defend herself. Fortunately, said bats were not able to pierce through the armor, causing the vampire to reform and try a different tactic. "Chaos Plasma!"

"Gyaahhh!" Peashy screamed as her armor easily conducted the lightning bolts that arced around the vampire, falling to one knee from the electric shock. (Dammit, I hate lightning attacks...!)

"Ha ha! Not so cocky now, are you, human?" the vampire laughed in triumph. "Now surrender and swear unending loyalty to me, and I will let you live!"

(Not on your life,) the blonde thought as she managed to move one hand to her Armor Morpher, holding in the buttons and reverting her armor to data form, causing the residual electric charge to dissipate.

"Oh my, what a lovely body you have!" Maderas gasped on beholding the busty woman revealed to him. "I would be more than happy to make you one of my thralls!"

"...HELL NO!" Peashy screamed as she rose up with her fist, slamming the Nosferatu with a massive uppercut that snapped his head back! She then followed up with a kick to the stomach that sent Maderas skidding several yards back! Before he could recover, Peach took off running and slammed into him with her trademark full-body tackle, sending him off the Nepgeardam's head! That would've been bad enough, but then the blonde leapt off herself and nailed the vampire with a double-footed dropkick, smashing him into the astroturf, leaving a small crater!

"Im... impossible..." Maderas coughed as Peashy loomed over him.. "What level... are you...?"

"85 or so, I think," the blonde replied with a smirk.

"Eighty-five...?! How... I am not... even half that...!" the vampire grunted in disbelief. Lifting his head up slightly, he managed to yell, "My minions, tear her to shreds!"

There was no response.

"M, minions...?!"

"They're all gone, comrade," Sergei said as he and the other Armored Rangers walked up. "We mopped up the rest while Peach dealt with you!"

"Not the first time we've dealt with cat-women, you know!" A-Mac pointed out.

"And shouldn't have sent succubi up against this Hero of Justice!" Nicole piled on.

"Now then," Green Heart said as she floated down, "seeing as you are utterly defeated, we will allow you to head back to the netherworld and inform Etna of your failure..."

"Etna?!" Maderas gasped, his skin turning even paler than usual. "No, anything but that! If she finds out, I'm doomed! This was my chance to finally get revenge for all the humiliation she put me through! I should have been the overlord, not that foolish child Laharl!"

"Oh, now I remember you!" Nisa snapped her fingers. "You've that traitorous vassal that stole Etna's memories to keep her under your heel, but she outwitted you and made you her bitch!"

The others groaned at this. "Another challenger to the Overlord's throne?!" Chika sighed. "This is not going to stop until Etna is convinced to abandon her attempts on our world once and for all...!" Just then, a rumbling was heard, Green Heart and the Rangers turning to see the Nepgeardam rising to it's full height! "W-what's going on...?! Did someone sneak in while we were preoccupied?!"

"DING DING DING! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE A WINNER!" A familiar voice spoke from the giant robot's PA system. "THANKS FOR THE DISTRACTION, MADERAS! ALL YOUR NEPGEARDAM ARE BELONG TO ME NOW! OH HO HO HO HO!"

"NEPGYA!" Everyone cried in recognition...
