Hi everyone, welcome back. This one-shot is a request from Tuckpendelton87. The request is long and kind of complicated to put here. But basically, the request revolved around the young love of Henry and Grace/Paige. Set in season 1 and 2.

Chapter 206: Oh, young love

Emma sits down on the bench outside Storybrooke Elementary, next to Henry "Mary Margaret is back into her cell."

Henry smiles "Is she okay?"

Emma nods "Yeah, she's good. Ready for this all to be over."

Henry grins, but before he can say anything, a group of girls walk by. One of them stopping.

"Hi Henry" Paige smiles.

"Hi Paige" Henry smiles, a blush filling his cheeks.

Paige gives Emma a smile "Hi Sheriff Swan."

"Hi Paige" Emma smiles, hiding a chuckle at Henry's blush when the girl said hi.

"Um, did you get the math homework last night Henry?"

Henry nods "Yeah, it's a bit tough, but I got it."

"Do you think you can help me? My parents tried to help, but I still don't get it."

Henry nods "Yeah, I can help" she smiles widely.

Paige now blushes "Awesome. You're a good friend Henry" she gives him a small wave, then walking inside with her friends.

Emma smiles "So…"

Henry looks over at Emma blushing "So?"

"You've never mentioned her before" Emma says, raising her hands a bit defensively.

Henry bites his lip "Yeah… well where friends, not much to say."

Emma nods "I see… well, she's cute."

Henry nods "And pretty."

Emma bites her lip a moment "Hey Henry?" she asks.

"Yeah?"

"Can I borrow the book?" Emma asks, "I want to see something…"

Henry nods "Of course" he smiles, taking the book out and handing it to her "take for as long as you need" he says hopefully.

Emma smiles, ruffling his hair, "You better get in there too… I don't want to make you late."

Henry nods, standing up, and hugs her "See you later Emma."

Emma grins widely, before pulling away "Yeah, I'll see later, hot chocolate at Granny's?"

"You bet" Henry smiles, putting his backpack on, giving her a wave, before running off into the building.

Emma smiles, as she walked out the back from the bathroom, coming back to the 'welcome home' party the town was throwing for her and Mary Margaret. She instantly looks for Henry, quickly spotting him by the front, talking to a little girl she remembered being named Paige. As she heads towards them, she sees the girl hug him, and then kiss Henry's cheek, making Emma raise a eyebrow, the kids wave to each other as the girl leaves. She then walks up to Henry "What was Paige doing here, kid?"

Henry smiles "I um… talked to Jefferson, while you were gone. I told him he should see her. And, her name is actually Grace, mom."

Emma smiles ear to ear at the name, "Grace, right. The mad hatter's daughter" she nods.

"You're not mad, right?" Henry asks, biting his lip.

"No… I'm not mad" Emma smiles, putting a arm around his shoulders "I take it, he went to see her?"

"Yeah, he did" Henry says proudly "She's really happy."

"And that's why she kissed you?"

Henry blushes "You saw that?"

"Yeah I did" Emma chuckles "and I saw that blush too."

Henry sighs, "Mom, can I ask you something?"

Emma sits down on the chair nearby, taking his hands for him to stand in front of her "Of course…"

"I… I kinda like Paige, Grace. But… what if she doesn't like me too?"

Emma gives him a sad smile "There is only one way to find out…"

"I know… but really, what if she doesn't like me back?"

Emma sighs "Look kid, you're amazing. You're so sweet, kind and caring. When I was younger, I'd loved to have had a boy like you to like me. Judging by the kiss, I'm thinking she does."

"What if it's just for helping her get her dad back though?"

"I still think she likes you back…" Emma shrugs "even if she doesn't, that could change in the future. I mean, you guys are only eleven…"

Henry chuckles "I'm going to ask her at school tomorrow" he decides.

Emma laughs, ruffling his hair "There you go bud."

Henry moves to hug her "I'm so glad you got back mom."

Emma smiles, kissing his cheek "Me too kid, I missed too much already, I wasn't missing anymore."

Henry closes his eyes, as he simply enjoyed the hug. He had his mom and grandma back, and he might be asking Grace out. Today was a good day.
