Diana, Sue and Nancy are now getting ready for their New Year's party. It is currently 11:00 as a matter of fact. They will be counting down to the New Year of course. They will be seeing the ball being dropped from Time Square by the way. They will be watching it on TV. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be having a good New Year's party.
"It is night time, Di" said Sue.
"It sure is, girls" said Diana. "In fact, we are about to have a New Year's party"
"We have already planned of what we are going to have for the party" said Nancy.
"Exactly, Nancy" said Diana.
"We got the punch ready" said Nancy.
"I have the cookies ready" said Sue.
"That smells good, Sue" said Diana.
"I know, Di" said Sue. "My mom made it"
"Our friends are here as well" said Nancy.
"Yes, they are, girls" said Diana. "We also have some music"
"We can't wait for the New Year, Di" said Sue.
"It is currently 11:50 right now" said Diana.
"The ball will be dropped around 11:58 or so" said Nancy.
"I have the TV on" said Sue.
"That is good, Sue" said Diana. "They are in New York"
Diana and her friends saw the New Year's ball going down.
"The ball is going down" said Diana.
"It will be a New Year" said Sue.
"The countdown is at 45 seconds" said Nancy.
"Yes, it is, girls" said Diana.
"We are done in 30 seconds" said Sue.
"We can countdown when it gets to ten" said Diana.
"It looks like we are about to count it down" said Nancy.
Diana and her friends began to the countdown to the New Year until the new year sign lights up and fireworks goes off.
"Happy New Year!" said everyone.
"Fireworks are going off right now, Di" said Sue.
"I hope you had a wonderful new year" said Diana.
"Thanks, Di" said Sue. "We will be best friends forever"
