Chapter 104

June 10th, 1998

French Presidential Palace

Harry had almost forgotten how boring meetings could be over the past month.

Almost.

For many of the people that were slowly returning from England, it was now the beginning of a slow return to what normalcy that they could.

Fleur and Elena were both settling back into the house and Harry had then realized that his wife seemed a lot more protective than usual.

War could cause you to change afterward in small ways Harry was just now realizing.

He had been having nightmares ever since Hogwarts and from what he had been seeing the others who he was working with that fought in the war were not faring much better if the signs of low amount of sleep were any indicator of things.

But then again that could be the result of the other work they were busy with including the big project he was currently in a meeting over.

Demobilization.

During the war, Sebastian had gathered a Coalition Force of over ten thousand fighters that came from over forty different countries all over the place.

And now the problem was that now that the war was over the Magical World had to deal with a unique problem with their history.

What would be a good way to bring all of those fighters back to their homes in a neat orderly and safe way.

And therein lies the problem.

England.

During the war, thousands of Coalition Fighters had occupied major areas of England as they retook the country from the Death Eaters.

And now their where several Government officials across Europe that wanted to keep forces in England for a set period of time to make sure that the Death Eaters and their supporters were rooted out as the English Government was rebuilt after having half of their 1995 staff were killed in the war.

So after conferring with his European counterparts, President Bayard had announced the formation of a group of two thousand Coalition fighters under French Deputy Secretary of Defense Arnaud Montebourg that would be acting as an occupation force for the foreseeable future.

President Bayard had proposed to the Cabinet that a motion be sent to the Senate so that Montebourgs force would stay in England for at least five years until 2004 or longer if the new British Government wished so.

That would need to be decided by the Senate due to the fact that the 1996 War Powers Act no longer applied to the current situation.

It was a good thing then that the Senate was quite cooperating and understanding about the current situation.

They had a lot of work to do over the next nine months involving England.

Changes had to be made to the British System.

The Death Eaters that had been rounded up at the end of the war would go on trial starting in mid-November in Switzerland where twenty-three Death Eaters would have to face justice in front of an International Tribunal in Bern.

But before that could happen a lot of work had to be done to prepare.

Thankfully though Harry was not massively involved in planning for the trials or else he was sure he would never have time to go home to his family.

His work now mostly entailed communication between the various parties.

President Bayard had been talking with the new British Minister of Magic about new measures that had to be implemented.

Amelia Bones had sent a letter just this morning that she had agreed to the Presidents demands that as such.

1 Azkaban would be rid of Dementors and turned into a more suitable prison.

2 The abolishment of the Wizengamot and the plans to elect a British Magical Parliament chosen through a national vote.

3 Passage of the Equalization Act thereby making various groups in England full citizens of Magical England.

4 The loss of house title for several people that had supported the Death Eaters and had survived Hogwarts thus meaning their families would become extinct.

Those ideas were not popular with everyone in England but that was not important.

A lot of the people complaining probably supported the Death Eaters during the war and the fact that the British could not complain about the Coalition due to the fact that the Coalition saved their ass during the war.

So go figure.

It would take a lot of time to make sure all of those ideas were fully implemented though.

More work to do over the past few months.

Just wonderful..

There was something else that had been happening ever since they had returned from home from England.

Harry's wife was now hornier than ever with Elena being older now.

That's why Fleur greeting him with a kiss once he got home was not unusual at all.

But he also sensed that she was nervous more than usual.

"Hey," He said, "How's everything going".

"Good," She said appearing nervous "Elena went to bed early.''

"Ok" Harry nodded "Are you ok you seem a bit nervous".

Fleur breathed in and then "Harry I went to the doctors today after missing my recent period".

Harry felt nervous but continued "And".

"I'm pregnant again" Fleur blurted out.

Harry blinked and then "That's wonderful," He said.

Fleur breathed in "I know now that the war is over I was thinking about talking with you about having some more kids anyway.''

Harry thought about that for a second. "More kids," He asked, "How many did you have in mind".

"I'm not sure yet," Fleur said, "Maybe a couple more before I turn thirty".

"Haven't you been taking the potion ever since Elena was born though?"Harry asked.

On that note, Fleur looked a bit sheepish "Yeah but I stopped taking the potion after the funerals had finished" She said.

Harry shook his head "Well whatever you want to do dear have you told Appoline and Gabby yet".

"No," Fleur said "I figured we could do that later but for now would you mind taking a walk with me outside," She asked.

"Sure" Harry nodded.

As they walked outside Harry thought about more kids.

With the war over now any future kids would be brought into a much safer world than the one Elena was born into.

And Harry was perfectly fine with new children.

It was nice that Elena would soon have another baby sister to play with and maybe some more in the following years.

To be honest, Fleur getting pregnant again was not that surprising.

Ever since Hogwarts she had been constantly horny wanting to have sex with him on some days up to ten times.

Harry was just a fan of sex with his wife as anyone else but even for him, his wife's enthusiasm was a bit surprising.

Oh Well.

He had plenty of other work to do over the next few months he may as well enjoy his time at home as much as he could.

What an interesting first month back in France.
