But as the detective removed the face-mask seeing the smeared mascara they said it was murder. How do they know?
Three people are suspected of murdering a person by pushing them of the building and the police deduced the culprit must be a person inside the building, who assaulted the victim and rushed to the first floor. The required amount of time should be at least 10 minutes. The three suspects all had good alibis since person 1 was drinking beer with froth bubbling on the surface, person 2 was having coffee which still had steams, and person 3 was smoking a cigarette with smoke still coming out. The police performed repeated experiments to show that the threshold limit for froth, steam or smoke to stop coming out was 7 to 8 minutes, but as the police noticed the salt-shaker next to the beer they knew person 1 was the culprit. How do they know?
