Last of this set. It's kinda awkward, but hopefully a fun little bit.
Devil
"Prada is ugly."
Though he agreed, Riku laughed. "Don't let Leslie hear you say that."
"Oh, what's she gonna do about it?" Sora dismissed. "And how are she and Cloud friends, anyway? I mean, they're nothing alike. She's all sophisticated and fashion diva and urban; he's kinda gruff and country and doesn't care at all about fashion."
"He cares about clothes, not what's in style." Riku glanced at the TV screen. "That woman's a bitch, but I don't think I'd compare her to the devil...or even a devil."
"I know, right? We've met people way worse than her. Pretty sure I've been way worse than her."
"Yeah," agreed Riku who turned back to his book. "But I guess it's all in the perspective or something. Why are you watching the movie, anyway?"
"Kairi wanted me to... I think she just wants someone to talk to about it. It's so not my kind of movie." He rolled on his back and looked toward Riku. "Is that book as good as Belle said?"
"So far, but anything about serial killers is fascinating. This guy was way fucked up."
"Huh. You know, I didn't peg her for being interested in that kind of thing. Just shows you never know about a person, huh?"
"Nope. We all have something to us that would likely seem weird to people around us. I mean, you and those Saw movies-"
"Those are brilliant!"
"-are a prime example."
"I guess things like that as probably what keeps us from going nuts, ya know?" Sora's tone was thoughtful. "Studying what people have done... watching or reading the twisted concepts of other people... It just proves we all have a little evil in us."
"Evil, huh?" Riku shrugged. "Yeah, you're right about that. "Darkness is a natural thing, but evil... That's a different thing."
"Yeah, totally. And devils are evil." Sora suddenly laughed, turning back to the movie. "It's even in the name!"
"I never thought about that, but yeah. It makes you wonder why people confuse devils and demons. I'd much rather hang with a demon."
"Yeah, demons are dark but usually not evil. I think it's just that fear of the dark, ya know?"
"Some people think I'm a demon," murmured Riku. "But I'd rather be that than the other."
"We all got a demon inside," said Sora, quite frankly. "Yours is just a little closer to the surface. Nothing wrong with that."
"I suppose."
"Better the demons you know than the devil you think you do." Sora got up. "Okay, I love Kairi, but I'm not watching any more of this. Let's go to the Arcade."
"Sure. I get to kick your ass again at Tekken."
"I don't think so! I've got a strategy against Devil Jin that I know will work!"
