Shugi's group comes across a statue of some dark and skinny figure wearing a hat just like Nikku's, which any historian would easily be able to recognize as Iso-Nikku. A nearby sign says that by leaving a monetary offering by the statue, one can become forever smarter, and Shugi finds this reasonable enough and leaves a moderate sum of gold at the base of the statue before walking away with the rest of the group.
Meanwhile, Melvin and the others find a clearing in some kind of small candy cane forest, with a single large gummy bear located in the middle of the open space. Melvin cautiously starts to approach it, but manages to trip and fall down a hill into a pit of spikes, before bouncing back up to where he was before, completely unharmed. Before anybody can check out what could have caused such a bizarre occurrence, a vicious shout is heard from amidst the candy canes, and a feral blur lunges out into the clearing and begins ferociously devouring the gummy bear, shredding it beyond recognition in just a few seconds. The figure then stares at the group with its wild eyes, revealing it to be Maul'em, yet another enemy for the group to fight against.
"Looks like it's time to demonstrate the power of love!" Victor and Valencia call out in unison, jumping into battle positions while Melvin, Tora, and Levus stay where they are, with Bullseye still barely noticeable among their ranks. Maul'em wastes no time in growling fiercely and hurtling towards Melvin, who attempts to punch the incoming assailant, only to have his fist caught in Maul'em's merciless jaws. Maul'em snarls as he pulls back, ripping a layer of flesh off from Melvin's hand. While Melvin clutches his wounded hand, Valencia fires off a series of love beams at Maul'em, only to have the feral man devour the love beams right out of the air. Melvin uses some of his healing abilities to repair the damage to his hand, and before Maul'em can attack again, Viola launches out of the ground, ramming into Maul'em from the side. While Maul'em is pinned down by the massive worm, Levus calls forth a bolt of black flame and sends it directly into one of Maul'em's eyes, half-blinding him. Victor finishes comforting Valencia, who was upset due to her attack failing, and stomps towards Maul'em angrily.
"So, you eat love, huh? Well, try eating THIS! Electric SHOCK!" Victor holds up his wand, and it begins crackling with energy. Victor then slashes at Maul'em's face with the wand, sending a powerful wave of electricity coursing through Maul'em's body. Maul'em twitches erratically as he is being zapped, but manages to headbutt Victor before he can be fully electrocuted, disrupting the attack and leaving Maul'em badly burnt but angrier than ever. Maul'em burrows into the ground just as Levus attempts to drop a massive jet of black flame onto him, causing Levus to curse angrily to himself. Tora tries to command Jumbo and Viola to find Maul'em before he can resurface, but neither worm seems to be capable of detecting the sound or vibrations from Maul'em's digging, mainly because the worms' movements override them. However, Valencia seems to be able to track Maul'em due to the massive amount of hatred he's feeling, so when Maul'em bursts out of the ground and attempts to attack Victor from behind, Valencia fires off a magic beam directly at him, piercing him straight through the torso and causing him to drop down to the ground. However, his primal fury seems to be keeping him kicking, along with a whole lot of adrenaline. Maul'em lets out another fearsome roar, while Melvin casually eats a book to assimilate its knowledge. Maul'em starts running on all fours towards Levus, but Jumbo jumps out from the ground and spews out a blast of cursed flames, igniting Maul'em from below. Jumbo then jumps the rest of the way out of the ground, bringing Maul'em up with him, before dropping him down to the ground. Levus rushes over to the spot under Maul'em and grabs him directly by the backbone as he falls, even though Maul'em is probably spineless. Levus then rips out Maul'em's spine, and at the exact same time, Valencia uses another magic beam, piercing through Maul'em's skull and ending his life once and for all. Suddenly, to the surprise of Melvin, Tora, Levus, Victor, and Valencia, Bullseye once again breaks out of his catatonic comatose-like state and waves his arms around aggressively.
"I"m gon' fuck yo shit up." declares Bullseye, before walking ahead of the rest of the group, who quickly follow after him. Bullseye finds three spare Manson's Marbles lying on the ground, probably left behind when the madman ran away, and slips them into his pocket.
Shugi suddenly notices a random guy named Jeremy Gold and tries to get his attention by waving a random piece of meat, but Jeremy perceives this as a threat and tries to counter by waving his own random piece of meat. However, Jeremy ends up being scared away by his own piece of meat, and runs away into the distance, leaving the Great Fleshy Candy Land entirely. Shugi shrugs and eats the discarded piece of meat, seeing no reason to let it go to waste. He then moves along with Knight Nikku, Thicc and Creamy, and Skeletone, soon coming across a strange person who seems to be wearing a cow costume, though it's hard to tell if it's actually a costume or not. Next to the individual is a large jar labeled "MiLK", and before the group can ask any questions, the individual starts mooing at them, seemingly wanting some kind of statue of sorts. Despite the fact that all the being is saying is "moo" over and over again, the group is also able to discern that it seems to go by the name of "Melisa". Thicc kneels down and politely asks Melisa for a milk sample, and Melisa seems reluctant, but takes out a spoon anyways and dips it into the jar before slipping it into Thicc's mouth. Skeletone takes out his lute and strums it repeatedly while making an occasional moo sound of his own, and Melisa seems impressed enough by the tune to give Skeletone the lid of the milk jar, albeit without any milk in it.
"Nice." chuckles Skeletone, stashing the item in his inventory and waving to Melisa as he walks away with the rest of the group.
