Batman and Catwoman went to Ra's al Ghul's ninja-training place. They walked inside and looked around. It was decorated with various ninja weapons and merchandise. They were several people, dressed in black ninja-outfits, who were beating each other up.
Catwoman said, "So, I asked you to take me to fun a place and this is what you come up with?" She showed off her claws, while saying, "I couldn't think of a more purrfect place."
Batman replied, "Talia's dad runs this place. I've heard lots of good things."
Ra's al Ghul popped out of the shadows and asked, "Good things? You should be hearing the best things and I except nothing less, than the best, from you."
Batman felt suspicious of Ra's al Ghul, while replying, "I'm flattered you have such a high opinion of me, even though it's a weird feeling to have. After all, we've never met."
Ra's al Ghul looked excited, while responding, "That's true, but I've become fascinated with you, Batman. A detective, a bat, and a man. Those three things would seem rather mundane, but when you combine them together, it becomes something the world has never seen." He paced around Batman while saying, "Since you are wanting to become a detective, you'll have to work on your strength. Despite being a mostly mental process, detectives require physical attributes, not just good-thinking skills. I want to see your moves."
Batman replied, "I haven't done that much fighting, in the past. My moves might not be good."
Ra's al Ghul put his arm around Batman, while saying, "Don't be so hard on yourself, Batman. I see lots of potential in you. Since you are lacking in the confidence department, I'll have you fight some of my less-challenging ninjas."
Batman replied, "Sounds good."
Catwoman slyly smiled and said, "I also want to fight some ninjas."
Ra's al Ghul smiled back and replied, "Very well then." He walked over to his ninjas and sent them after Batman.
Batman looked at Catwoman and said, "It's time to find out our potential."
Catwoman replied, "We have more potential than you could ever imagine."
Batman said, "You have a lot of confidence, don't you?"
Catwoman asked, "Why wouldn't I? I'm the best."
The ninjas started running after Batman and Catwoman. One of the ninjas started punching Batman. Batman punched the ninja, but the ninja kicked him to the ground.
A ninja was about to use his sword, but he looked down and saw it was broken in half. Catwoman had a mischievous smile on her face, while saying, "When you mess with the cat, your weapons will become weaker than a litter-box." The ninja tried to punch her, but she threw him across the room. Ra's al Ghul raised an eyebrow, in surprise.
Batman got up and started punching a few ninjas. The ninjas started jumping on Batman. One of the ninjas punched Batman in the face. He fell to the ground.
Catwoman turned around and saw that the ninjas had beaten-up Batman. She faced the ninjas, while saying, "My claws are sharp, sharper than your brains could ever be." The ninjas started coming after her. She got out her whip and used it to fling ninjas across the room. She was an expert, at running quickly and sneaking around. There were several points, where the ninjas thought they were close to getting her. However, she managed to avoid their attacks and she defeated them.
There were a few ninjas left. They started heading towards Catwoman, who was feeling a little worn-out. Batman got up and saw what was happening. In order to protect Catwoman, he tried to stop the ninjas. He sternly said, "Bring it on, if you feel like you can handle. However, I think you should beware the Batman." Ra's al Ghul smirked, while Batman started punching and kicking the ninjas. Catwoman quickly got her energy back, so she helped Batman stop the remaining ninjas.
After all of the ninjas had been defeated, Ra's al Ghul clapped his hands. He walked up to Batman and Catwoman and said, "Excellent work, you two. You defeated an entire team of ninjas."
Batman replied, "Catwoman deserves most of the credit. Besides, those were the weaker ninjas."
Ra's al Ghul sneakily smiled and responded, "That's not the case. If you are wondering why the ninjas were able to temporarily defeat you, it's because I sent some of tougher ninjas.":
Batman said, "I asked for the less-advanced ninjas."
Ra's al Ghul replied, "That's correct, but I knew you had potential for better."
Catwoman playfully rubbed Batman's cowl, while saying, "He's quite the fighter."
Batman replied, "You're the one who knocked it out of the park. You impressive fight moves are what inspired me, to not give up. Those are some of the best moves I've ever seen." Catwoman meowed, which Batman assumed was her way of thanking him.
Ra's al Ghul responded, "You both impressed me and I'm expecting to see more of you. You have a lot to learn, despite already being so talented."
Batman was starting to reach for his utility-belt's wallet, while asking, "How much did this lesson cost?"
Ra's al Ghul shook his hand and replied, "It's on the house. Seeing the bat and the cat, in action, was something I should be paying for, not the other way around."
Batman asked, "Are you sure?"
Ra's al Ghul smiled and said, "Don't worry, Batman. I'm one of Gotham's richest citizens. In fact, Bruce Wayne is probably the only citizen in Gotham, who's wealthier than I am."
Batman felt nervous about Bruce Wayne's name being brought up, since he really was Bruce Wayne and he didn't want others to know that. He nervously gulped and he hoped Catwoman and Ra's al Ghul didn't hear that.
Catwoman said, "I've seen Bruce Wayne, on Vicky Vale's news reports. He doesn't seem that exciting, aside from his money and jewels."
Batman tried to cover up his secret-identity, by saying, "Bruce Wayne's probably spoiled, maybe immature."
Ra's al Ghul replied, "Ms. Vale often reports on how much Bruce Wayne wastes. He has so much potential and he constantly doesn't put it to use. I use my wealth, to improve and benefit Gotham. With my team of ninja, Gotham will become safer than ever." He tapped Batman's shoulder and said, "My goal is to make you heroic, intimidating, powerful, and talented. In other words, I want you to become the opposite of Bruce Wayne. Do you think that's possible?"
Batman felt amused, while answering, "Sure."
Professor Hugo Strange entered Professor Crane's classroom, to check on Harvey Dent. Hugo Strange walked up to Crane and asked, "How did your latest experiment go?"
Professor Crane said, "It was a partial success."
Hugo Strange put his hand on his chin and asked, "Partially successful? I've been used to completely success and embarrassing failures, but moderation is not commonly found, when experimenting with the laws of nature. What happened?"
Professor Crane replied, "I'll explain what happened, by showing off my latest experiment. I put a dangerous for-toxin on Harvey Dent. I ran out of materials, so I only impacted half of him." He presented Harvey Dent. Half of his face had been turned purple. He fiddled with his coin, while looking angrier than ever.
Hugo asked, "You painted his face? What does that have to do with fear?"
Professor Crane had an evil grin on his face, while saying, "His new look will scare some many of our students. He's become a human fear-toxin and I couldn't be more excited to see him increase the fear around here, by two." He did an evil laugh, while Hugo looked captivated about the new Harvey Dent.
Batman and Catwoman went to the theater and started watching the spy film. During the film, Catwoman kept trying to hold Batman's hand, but Batman was uncomfortable with it, so he didn't hold her hand. Catwoman pretended to be offended about that, which Batman felt bad about. During the film's romance scenes, Catwoman smiled at Batman and winked at him, which increased his feelings of uncomfortableness.
After the film was over, Batman looked at his watch and saw that it was almost the time he went to bed at. He looked at Catwoman and said, "I think we should call it a night."
Catwoman replied, "Very well then, but can I walk you home?"
Batman responded, "I'm afraid not. My home's location has to be kept a secret."
Catwoman hugged Batman, while saying, "I know that has to be kept from most people, but aren't I the purrfct exception?"
Batman nervously replied, "I'm afraid not. It's not something I'm comfortable sharing with others, at least not yet. I hope you understand."
Catwoman tried to act more offended than she actually was, so she could guilt Batman into telling her his secrets. She sighed and said, "Very well then. I keep my secret's too. I was hoping you were the person I could reveal myself to, but that isn't the case." She disappeared.
Batman had a guilty look on his face, while saying, "Wow, I kind of messed up. Still, that was a fun night. I hope Catwoman can forgive me, but the Batman's home and identity must remain secrets."
Batman went to Arkham Asylum. He walked around the hallways and was hoping to see Catwoman, so he could apologize to her for refusing to reveal his secret identity. He accidentally bumped into Poison Ivy, who was holding a plant. The plant fell out of her hands, but Batman caught it and gave it to her.
Poison Ivy smiled and said, "Nice moves."
Batman replied, "Thank you. Catwoman and I did some fighting practice, at Talia's dad's place, and I think it helped my agility."
Poison Ivy responded, "Speaking of that, how was your night with Catwoman?"
Batman said, "It was a lot of fun, but I gave it an unpleasant ending."
Poison Ivy looked concerned, while asking, "What do you mean?"
Batman said, "Catwoman insisted on knowing where I live and I couldn't let her find that out. She's very kind and fun-loving, but she wants to find out who I really am and what I'm really like. People can't know the real me, so I had to stop her. However, I think I hurt her feelings and I feel bad about it."
Poison Ivy put her hand on Batman's shoulder and replied, "I don't think that's what's really going on. I've known Catwoman for a year. Although she does have some admirable qualities, like caring for stray cats, she's also very manipulative and sneaky."
Batman asked, "What has she done?"
Poison Ivy answered, "She's hurt pound-workers, has stolen a few jewels, and she constantly lies."
Batman scratched his cowl, while saying, "Some detective I am. If I was truly good at this detective stuff, I would of figured out her true colors. I had a few suspicions about her, but she seemed perfectly fine, even generous." He thought about how Catwoman and what he should do. He took a long pause of silence.
Poison Ivy looked at him and asked, "Are you okay?"
Batman said, "I think I know what to do. Catwoman seems flawed, but I think she has potential for greatness. I should hangout with her and try to help her."
Poison Ivy shook her her head and replied, "I don't think that's a good idea. She might trick you and manipulate you. It's not safe."
Batman calmly responded, "I think things are going to be okay."
Meanwhile, Professor Hugo Strange was having a meeting with Catwoman in his office, because he wanted to know Catwoman's progress. Catwoman grabbed a carton of milk, from Hugo Strange's fridge, and started slurping it up. She crossed her legs and said, "Hi Strange. What's up?"
Hugo Strange replied, "I want to know the results, of your night with Batman."
Catwoman said, "Batman's got sweet intentions, but he's easily tricked. I had a fun of night, where I got to do whatever I want, and I still managed to make myself look like the innocent one."
Hugo replied, "Well done, Ms. Catwoman. Manipulation is a wonderful thing. So, how much progress did you make? Have you discovered any of his secrets?"
Catwoman responded, "I'm afraid that. His stubbornness is stronger than his physical strength."
Hugo put his hand on his chin and replied, "Quite the predicament. If the Batman has a passionate desire, to hide who he really is, how will you get that knowledge?"
Catwoman shrugged her shoulders and replied, "I don't know. You're the mastermind behind this deception and you're the one, who's obsessed with finding out his secret identity."
Hugo asked, "Don't you have interest in knowing who he is?"
Catwoman answered, "I find his mysterious nature alluring and captivating."
Hugo replied, "So do I. It's that mystery of his, that motivates me into searching for his face."
Catwoman threw the empty carton on the ground, while asking, "Do you have any plans?"
Hugo answered, "Indeed I do. Batman is even more secretive than I thought and because of that, you'll have to be forceful."
Catwoman asked, "So you want me to pressure him and bully him?"
Hugo answered, "I think it's our best option."
Catwoman angrily sighed and replied, "That would drive him away from me. It wouldn't make him want to reveal his secrets to me."
Hugo responded, "Oh, fair point." He tried to maintain his dignity, while asking, "Do you have any ideas?"
Catwoman slyly smiled and answered, "Indeed I do."
Catwoman stepped out of Hugo Strange's office and started walking to Batman. Batman was glad to see her, because he was hoping he could apologize. He said, "Hi Catwoman. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings."
Catwoman replied, "It's okay."
Batman responded, "I'm glad you feel that way."
Poison Ivy could tell Catwoman had a trick up her sleeve, so she gently nudged Batman and said, "You shouldn't trust her. She's trying to trick you."
Catwoman pushed Ivy away. She grabbed Batman and said, "Ignore her. I really like you." She was about to kiss him. Batman tried to dodge the kiss, but she managed to give him a kiss on the cheek.
Batman replied, "Catwoman, please don't do that."
Catwoman smirked and responded, "Come on, Batman. Don't you love me?"
Batman took a long pause, before saying, "I like you, but I think you're pushing our friendship. A day ago, we were barely friends."
Catwoman replied, "Well, our relationship has progressed."
Batman sternly said, "We're friends, nothing more. Also, you should be nicer to Ivy. I know she gives you a hard time, but you should go easier on here."
Catwoman folded her arms and replied, "I see how it is. You can go ahead and hangout with the girl you truly care about."
Batman hoped that he could reason with Catwoman. He gently said, "Catwoman, I think you have a lot of potential. You're very thoughtful, but you also have some inconsiderate qualities. I heard you stole some jewels."
Catwoman gritted her teeth and angrily replied, "I don't like people bringing that up." She reminded what Hugo Strange said about being forceful, so she started tugging on Batman's cape.
Batman nervously asked, "What are you doing?"
Catwoman answered, "If you're so stubborn about revealing your secret identity, I'll just take your mask off."
Batman tried to keep his grip on his cowl, while saying, "Please stop this."
Catwoman almost took Batman's mask off, but Poison Ivy kicked her. Cats always land on their feet, so Catwoman didn't fall to the ground. She showed off her claws, while staring at Ivy, and asking, "Do you want to mess with me?"
Poison Ivy smiled and answered, "Indeed I do." Ivy thought she could handle Catwoman, but Catwoman started scratching her and kicking her. Ivy considered defending herself, but she was worried about Batman not wanting to be her friend anymore, if she hurt Catwoman. She sighed and stood around.
Catwoman had a mischievous smile on her face, while saying, "It seems like it'll be even easier than I thought, to stop you." She punched Ivy to the ground.
Batman saw that. He had a concerned look on his face, while checking-up on her. Catwoman felt mildly guilty about what happened, so she asked, "What's going on?"
Batman glared at her and said, "Ivy was right about you. You're sneaky and disrespectful. Unless you change your ways, I don't want to be your friend."
Catwoman sighed and replied, "I understand." She walked away.
Batman helped Poison Ivy get up, while asking, "Are you okay?"
Poison Ivy said, "Yeah."
Batman replied, "I should of taken your warnings more seriously. Because of my gullibility, you got punched to the ground. I'm ashamed of myself."
Poison Ivy put her hand on Batman's shoulder and responded, "It's not your fault. You were very caring and open-minded, which is why you gave Catwoman. You shouldn't feel ashamed of yourself, because I'm proud to be your friend."
Batman hugged Ivy and said, "Thank you."
Poison Ivy smiled and replied, "You're welcome."
After Batman and Ivy's long hug, Batman looked at the clock and said, "Oh no." He paused and said, "We're already late for class. Considering how eager Professor Crane is about grounding his students, we'll surely get a detention."
Poison Ivy innocently smiled and replied, "If that's the case, at least we'll have detention together."
Batman responded, "Yeah, there's a lot of students I'd never want to have detention with, but you're not one of them."
Poison Ivy said, "I'm glad to hear that, because you're the only guy at the school I get along with. In fact, you're my only real friend here, other than Harley."
Batman replied, "You're my best friend." Ivy had a small tear of joy fall from her eye. She gave Batman a hug. Batman said, "Ivy, I don't mean to be rude, but we gotta get to class."
Poison Ivy replied, "We're already late. Please let me have this moment."
Batman responded, "Okay, old chum." Poison Ivy hugged Batman, for a long moment. She felt her heart warming up and she couldn't ask for anything better than that.
Meanwhile, Catwoman burst into Hugo Strange's office and said, "I'm done with this identity scheme. I don't mind causing trouble and causing a few scratches, but hurting peoples' personal feelings isn't on my resume." She stole more of Hugo Strange's milk and walked out.
After Catwoman left, Hugo Strange said, "The cat failed to unmask the bat. I gave Catwoman too big of a responsibility. I should of known, that she couldn't handle such a thing." He grabbed his work-phone and called Professor Crane.
Professor Crane was trying to teach his class, when his phone started ringing. He grabbed the phone and said, "Hi Principal Strange. With all due respect, you're interrupting my class."
Hugo Strange replied, "This'll only take a moment. Where are you keeping Harvey Dent?"
Professor Crane responded, "He's in class and his new appearance is freaking out the kids. It's a delightful event."
Hugo replied, "Since Mr. Dent was your big experiment, do you think he's capable of being a challenge for Batman?"
Professor Crane responded, "He's more menacing than ever. What do you want him to do?"
Hugo answered, "Unmask the Batman."
Professor Crane evilly smiled, while saying, "I'll make that happen."
Batman and Poison Ivy finally entered Professor Crane's classroom. They were over five minutes late, so Man-Bat hissed at them. Crane grumpily stared at them and said, "It's about time you got here."
Batman would normally say he's sorry for being late, but considering how scummy Crane acted, it was hard for him to be sorry. He said, "Ivy got knocked to the ground, so I had to stay behind and help her. I hope you can understand."
Professor Crane replied, "I couldn't care less about that. You and Ivy have a detention, after-school. Go sit down."
Poison Ivy angrily stared at Crane and responded, "You gotta be kidding me."
Professor Crane replied, "I'm not the joking type."
Batman and Ivy sat down. Harley Quinn looked at Ivy and was concerned about her, because of what Batman said, about her getting knocked to the ground. She nudged her and asked, "Are you okay?"
Poison Ivy said, "Yeah, but Catwoman tried to attack. Because of that, Batman ended things with her."
Harley replied, "Wow, I thought the bat couldn't resist the cat's charms. So, everything's cool between you and Batsy?"
Poison Ivy smiled and said, "Yeah, he even called me his best friend."
Harley replied, "Impressive. It sounds like you two are becoming closer."
Poison Ivy responded, "Maybe we are."
Batman looked at Harvey and was surprised that half of his face was purple. Several students were freaked-out by his new appearance. Batman had a concerned look on his face, while asking, "Are you okay?"
Harvey flipped his coin. It landed on tails, so he said, "No I'm not."
Batman asked, "What happened to you?"
Professor Crane walked by and said, "Harvey accidentally got his face on some dangerous chemicals, during a science experiment."
Crane was the least trustworthy professor Batman had ever met, so he angrily asked, "Is that what actually happened?"
Professor Crane had a smug smile on his face, while saying, "It's not something worth discussing. In fact, I might you another detention, if you don't start focusing on today's lesson."
After school was over, Harley started bouncing around the hallways, while saying, "I'm so glad school's done. I can finally go and have fun."
Poison Ivy replied, "You're lucky, Harley. I have to go to detention."
Harley asked, "Why?"
Poison Ivy angrily sighed and said, "Because I was late for class."
Harley replied, "But that wasn't your fault."
Poison Ivy said, "I know, but Scarecrow's never been an understanding guy. Batman and I have to go back to his creepy classroom."
Harley smiled and replied, "If Batman will be there, you'll probably have a good time."
Poison Ivy smiled back and responded, "Maybe I will."
A moment later, Batman and Ivy entered Professor Crane's classroom. They looked around and saw Two-Face, who menacingly glared at them. Batman asked, "What's going on?"
Professor Crane held a test-tube, while saying, "The antidote, for Harvey's face condition, is inside of this test-tube. If Harvey wants it back, he'll have give you some good scares."
Batman angrily replied, "If you have the antidote, you have to give it back to him. His condition was probably your fault, so you owe it to him."
Professor Crane had a sneaky grin on his face, while saying, "If Harvey wants to have a decent-looking face, he'll have to give you some decent mental-scars."
Poison Ivy angrily replied, "You have a wicked brain."
Professor Crane had a flattered look on his face, while saying, "Indeed I do." He turned to Man-Bat and said, "Keep an eye on the kids. I can't risk getting hurt, so I must be making my exit." He stepped out of the room, while laughing.
Batman and Poison looked at Harvey, who was getting his fists ready. Batman said, "Harvey, Crane affected your crane, but not your brain."
Harvey angrily replied, "He broke my spirit and I'm going to break a lot of you. Actually, I'll have to think that over." He flipped his coin. It landed on tails, so he faced Batman and said, "You're doomed."
Batman started stepping away from Harvey, while saying, "Please don't do this, Harvey."
Harvey grabbed Batman and replied, "Until I get my face back, my name isn't Harvey. I'm Two-Face." Two-Face kicked Batman into some desks. One of the desks landed on Batman.
Poison Ivy ran up to Batman and got the desk off of him. She helped him get up, while asking, "Are you okay?"
Batman answered, "I guess."
Two-Face replied, "You're going to be the opposite of okay, just like me."
Batman responded, "Please knock this off. Ivy and I can help you. We can be your friends."
Two-Face angrily asked, "Friends? I don't think so. Ever since I started going to this school, nobody's treated me well. Principal Strange, Professor Crane, and the students bullied me."
Batman felt sympathy for Two-Face, while saying, "I'm sorry that happened. I wish I had tried harder to help you. Right now, I'm offering you friendship." He stuck his hand out and said, "Let me show you hope."
Two-Face kicked Batman into a wall and replied, "I don't think so." Batman wondered if he should defend himself, but he was worried about making things worse. He got his fist ready, but he didn't punch Two-Face or anything else. Two-Face punched Batman in the stomach.
Poison Ivy lightly kicked Two-Face and said, "Stay away from him. He's trying to help you."
Two-Face replied, "I don't care. The only way to get my regular face back, is to defeat him."
Poison Ivy folded her arms and responded, "That would get you your outside face, but not your inside one."
Two-Face had a confused look on his face, while asking, "What do you mean?"
Poison Ivy pointed to Batman and said, "He was trying to help you and you attacked him. Scarecrow's antidote might make you look good again, but inside, you wouldn't be good."
Two-Face thought about it and realized he had been doing the wrong thing. He stopped punching and kicking Batman and said, "You're right. I've gone too far. However, I'm not letting myself get punished. I've already suffered too much pain." He grabbed his coin and ran out. Batman tried to go after him, but Two-Face ran so fast, that Batman couldn't keep up with him. Man-Bat angrily hissed, because he was disappointed about his rival-bat not getting hurt. Poison Ivy frowned at him.
A few minutes later, Batman went into Professor Hugo Strange's office. Hugo Strange said, "Greetings, Mr. Batman. As always, I'm intrigued to know what's on your mind. In addition, I want to know what's going on with Two-Face."
Batman angrily replied, "Two-Face ran away, thanks to your and Scarecrow's bad influences."
Hugo Strange responded, "Blaming people is a little irresponsible. Two-Face was suffering from a condition. As much as I wanted to help him, it was a hopeless case."
Batman was extremely frustrated, when it came to Hugo Strange, and it was hard to blame him. He pointed at Hugo and said, "You're responsible for Harvey's change and what happened with Catwoman. I had some doubts about Catwoman, but I thought things were going fine. However, when she tried to take my mask off, I realized that you hired her. You tried to cause a relationship between her and me, just so you could find out my secret identity."
Hugo replied, "I told you I'd do anything to find out your secret identity and I lived up to that claim. You can try to blame, but deep down, we deserve equal blame."
Batman looked confused, while asking, "What are you talking about?"
Hugo reached for Batman's cowl, but Batman flung him away and turned his back to him. Hugo straightened his tie, while saying, "If you took off your mask and revealed who you are, I wouldn't have to do these shady things. You're flawed, just like me. We're two imperfect people. However, my hobby is learning about Gotham's most eccentric citizens and you're the most fascinating of them. Whether we be allies or enemies, our paths coming together are destiny, wouldn't you say?"
Batman turned around and said, "I believe I'm destined to bring down your and Scarecrow's operations."
Hugo replied, "You can try, Batman. In fact, I want you to. It would be an exciting and compelling adventure."
Batman sternly responded, "Stay out of trouble, Strange."
Hugo said, "Arkham Asylum is Gotham's most unpredictable place. There's only two things you count on: I'll always be up to trouble and you'll always try to stop me."
Batman replied, "Sounds repetitive. I'm going to make sure this game has an ending." He threw a batarang at one of Hugo's awards and walked out.
Hugo's award was broken, but Hugo was distracted by getting to hold a batarang. He said, "What a peculiar choice of weapon."
After walking out Hugo Strange's office, Batman walked up to Poison Ivy, who was at her locker. Batman said, "Hugo Strange is as stubborn and difficult, as ever. That guy's more than just sneaky. He's the most dangerous person in Arkham Asylum, maybe even more so than the Scarecrow. He's willing to do anything, as long as he gets to analyze interesting stuff."
Poison Ivy replied, "So, he's like an evil version of a film reviewer?"
Batman said, "You could say that."
Poison Ivy replied, "Hugo Strange has been doing shady stuff, for over an year. Stopping him would be really hard."
Batman responded, "I know, but I'm going to try. In fact, I believe my purpose of going to Arkham Asylum is so I can stop Strange."
Poison Ivy gently touched Batman's hand and replied, "I believe in you."
Batman sighed and responded, "To be honest, I'm not sure if I can believe in myself. I've messed up with Catwoman and Harvey. I'm afraid I'm causing Arkham Asylum damage, rather than fixing it."
Poison Ivy replied, "You're making a positive difference. You saved the school from Man-Bat and what happened to Catwoman and Harvey isn't your fault."
Batman responded, "I thought I could become friends with those two, but that failed. Plus, I don't think Talia's fond of me, anymore."
Poison Ivy smiled and said, "You still have me. I don't plan on leaving you. Our friendship will be like a flower, that never stops blossoming." Batman smiled back and they hugged each other.
Batman and Poison Ivy started walking out of Arkham Asylum, for the day.
Batman returned to Ra's al Ghul ninja-training place. Ra's al Ghul was glad that Batman returned. He walked up to him and said, "Greetings, old bat. Batman returns, eh?"
Batman replied, "Indeed I have. You're right about me having a lot to learn. I want to work on my fighting skills. If I'm going to make a positive difference, I'm going to have to learn the right stuff. I'll have to become braver and bolder, than ever before. I can't let fear or strangeness stand in my way."
Ra's al Ghul responded, "It seems like you're already learning, Batman. It's time to learn more." Batman nodded. Ra's al Ghul signaled to his ninjas, to go after Batman. Batman started punching and kicking them. This time, he was able to fight off a majority of them, without anybody's help. Ra's al Ghul had an impressed look on his face. He raised his thumbs in approval. Although Batman still had some self-doubts, he wasn't going to let fear stop him. He was determined to be the school's dark knight.
