Chapter 2

Batman, Robin and Nightwing hurried to the Gotham Bank. Commissioner Gordon was on the way there too, but they were slightly behind. The Family would get there first.

Nightwing slightly grunted as he leapt off a building right next to the bank, crashing into the building from the glass ceiling. He knew Harley was going through a tough time, leaving Joker dangling over a building as their 'break-up', but Nightwing couldn't see why she would rob a bank.

Unless she and The Joker got back together. Nightwing thought. Like she always does.

Nightwing rolled on the floor, breaking his fall. He scanned the room, and the vault doors, but couldn't see Harley or Ivy. Batman landed next to him. "See anything?" He rumbled.

"No," Nightwing said. "But I'm pretty sure they're in one of the vaults.

"Go check Vault-1325," Batman ran off. "Me and Robin will check on 1326 and 1324."

Nightwing ran to Vault-1325's door, which was slightly pushed open. "Hello?"

From the vault came laughter. Evil, maniacal laughter.

Nightwing stood there, frozen as the Harlequin of Hate came into view. "Well hi there, bird-boy…" Joker whipped out his pistol.

"You're just in time for the show! Ahahahahahahaha!"
