Who would've thought that you could actually find treasure beneath the sands of a trivial beach? These animals surely wouldn't have guessed something like that.
It's truly a miracle that the tree frog was able to find something that had so much value, he honestly felt as if he was in a dream during the first few seconds upon discovering the treasure.
You all might be wondering what Finley's gonna do with all of that money, and well...yeah, he isn't quite sure what to do with it.
Sure it's a lot of money, but he wanted to do something that isn't along the lines of spending it all on random stuff.
Finley wanted to spend the money in a way that'll make him known worldwide, he did say he was gonna have an amazing future after all.
It was finally time for him to fulfill the promise he made for himself back at high school, it is time to become a face that everyone will know and love!
All that's left is to figure out what he's gonna do with the moola, it surely can't be anything inane or pointless.
Before the tree frog could think of anything else, Angel spoke to him in a worried tone "Finley, you're my best friend and all but...do you really think it would be a good idea to take all of this money?"
Finely looks at Angel as if he was speaking nothing but crazy talk "Are you actually considering leaving all of this money behind?! It's ours for the taking, there's nobody here that'll stop us from doing so"
Angel lets out a groan before replying to the man's statement "Finley, this clearly belongs to somebody. We can't just take something that ain't ours"
Finley gives the anteater a stern look, not liking what he was saying "Angel, you do realize that I'm at the bottom of barrel, right? This is a one in a lifetime opportunity and you would rather leave me all poor and whatnot? I get that it isn't ours, but wouldn't it be nice for me to actually be happy?"
It was then that Angel felt pretty guilty about himself as he looked down at the sand, tears getting ready to burst. What was he doing? Why wouldn't he just let Finley take the money? All the anteater ever wanted was for his best friend to be happy, so why is that he's even arguing with him in the first place?
Angel then looks up to face Finley, letting out a deep sigh and says "You know what? You're absolutely right. Wake the others up, I'll go take and put it in the trunk"
Finley had a happy look on his face before nodding enthusiastically and went over to the two unconscious animals, attempting to wake them up "C'mon guys, wake your butts up!"
The two of them were still unconscious, leaving Finley a bit inpatient as he decided to go for Plan B. As Phineas and Chester continued to be trapped inside an unconscious state, the tree frog places an alarm clock between them and waits for the action to come.
How'd he get an alarm clock? It was most likely during those few minutes of metal detecting around the beach.
After awhile, the alarm clock finally rang as it made an extremely loud noise, causing the two to wake up as Phineas immediately spoke in a irritable tone "What the heck was that for?!"
Finley just lets out a chuckle before shrugging "Not sure, maybe somebody planted it there"
Considering he didn't wanna harm the tree frog, Phineas decided to keep his cool, trying not to cause a ruckus and spoke "So where the heck's Angel?"
Finley simply points over to the anteater who was traveling to the car with the treasure chest being carried by his bare hands, what a man!
Chester took notice of the treasure chest before realizing that they actually found a pile of gold "So uhhh...can somebody pinch me please?"
Phineas just does what the chimpanzee says and pinches him quite roughly, yeah...it didn't really turn out so pleasant. It was then that Chester weeps in agony as the pangolin chuckled "Hey, I just did what you said"
A sigh escaped from Finley's mouth as he rolled his eyes, wondering if these two will ever grow up. It's kinda funny coming from the guy who was acting like somebody's child a few minutes ago.
Finley then proceeded over to the car as the two took notice of his action before following him.
As for Angel, he was over at the car, placing the treasure chest in the trunk as he pants, sweat dripping down from his face "Whew, that was certainly a handful…"
Before the anteater could close the trunk, a voice can be heard that directed towards him "Hey! Is that a treasure chest?"
He turned to see a cat who was most likely just heading to the beach as they then asked him a question "Did you find that just now or what?"
Angel nervously chuckles before responding to the cat's question with a lie "Well yes, but...there isn't really anything inside. I just thought it would be cool to have a treasure chest as a collection piece, you know what I mean?"
Somehow, the cat fell for the obvious lie as he nods, letting out a sigh right after and glanced at a different direction "Ah, I remember back when I was a kid. I would always dress up as a pirate, those were the good times. I've always liked the concept of a group of swashbuckling thieves who aim to steal a bundle of valuables. Man...it would've been nice if I could actually do something like that, not by stealing of course! I'm basically talking about earning money by doing spectacular things such as sailing a boat or running through an island infested with critters, wouldn't that be an amazing experience?"
Hearing those words, the anteater had to think about it for a moment before nodding and spoke "Yeah, I guess it would be a thrill to obtain a bunch of money simply by facing many challenges along the way. I'd rather do something like that instead of having to work your butt off at a gloomy factory"
The cat smiles before speaking once more "Even though we might not cross paths again, I thought it would at least be fair to introduce myself. The names Conroy"
Angel was about to introduce himself when he was cut off by the voice of his best friend "Good grief, we finally made it!"
Finley and the two had arrived as they noticed a complete stranger talking to them before the pangolin spoke quite rudely "Who the hell is this dude?"
The anteater looked at Phineas, looking slightly annoyed before answering his question "This dude's name is Conroy, I was just about to introduce myself to him before you guys interrupted me"
Conroy just looks at them before chortling a bit "Hey, it's alright man. Besides, like I said before, we may never cross paths again"
Angel looks back at Conroy and spoke with a hint of calmness "Yeah, you're possibly right. Alright gang, ready to set sail?"
The three nodded as they got in the car before Angel says his farewell to Conroy "Well I guess I'll see you...uhhh, never"
A chuckle escaped from the cat's mouth as he replied to Angels farewell "Yeah, the same goes to you"
It was then that Conroy proceeded his way over to the bewitching beach as Angel got in the driver's seat and began the journey back to Finley's home.
As their journey to the tree frogs house progresses, Finley felt pretty curious about what Angel was talking about with the cat, so he then asked without any sort of warning "Angel, what were you and the tabby talking about in the first place?"
The anteater looks at Finley for a second then turns his head back to face the road and answers that question of his "Well we were kinda about pirates I guess. It was something along the lines of wishing to get money by overcoming many thrilling challenges. I agree with the guy, it sounds like a lot fun to be honest"
Phineas had a confused look on his face, it was as if what Angel said made no sense "Are you serious? I mean, doesn't that sound kinda fictional to you? It just seems like a major case of fantasyland syndrome if you ask me"
Chester decided to make a rebuttal against the pangolins statement and said "Actually, stuff like that is pretty similar to reality television shows. Most of it is kinda fake, but they definitely pack a lot of drama for us to gossip about. Plus, what's better than seeing a chick in a bikini?"
The pangolin looked at Chester with a weirded look on his face before ceasing the expression and faces the window, not having the will to face him "That last part you said had nothing to correlate with what we're talking about"
Chester looks at Phineas who had his back turned to him before creating another rebuttal "Well I mean, you have one of those reality shows where a group of teens are stuck on an island and have to be the last one standing to win a ton of cash. The only reason I watch those types of shows is to see the ladies in their underwear. Man...now I'm wishing I could've gone to one"
Phineas turns his body around before flicking him right in the head "You have major problems dude"
All of this talk that they were having caused Finley's lightbulb to shine. A reality television show! Of course, why hadn't he thought of it sooner?
If he were to make his own reality show, then that would mean his face would be the talk of the earth! Ah yes...this was surely the perfect plan!
It was then that the car stopped, it looks like they finally made it back to Finley home's. Angel turned to face the tree frog and said "Welp, we'll be seeing you tomorrow Finley. I'll go grab the treasure chest"
The anteater was about to open the door before Finley stopped him with a set of words "Wait! Before we do, can we go somewhere?"
Angel thought for a second before nodding, thinking it wouldn't hurt to take another journey, though the other two wasn't feeling the same "Sure bro, where'd you like to head?"
Finley had a smile on his face as he answered "Well...i was thinking that maybe we should head to our old school. You know, taking a trip to memory lane, how does that sound?"
Oh boy...what was the tree frog planning to do at his old high school? So far, it doesn't sound so good...
