Prince Endymion thought that he had seen an Angel coming from Heaven. Never in his life had he seen a more beautiful woman, she looked as if she were divine, hair bright and elegant as the moonlight, her skin glew as if she were an Angel. Her face was filled with excitement and yet her movement was as elegant as a Queen. No forget what he had said about her being an Angel, she wasn't a Queen either, she was a Goddess, a Goddess come to check on the Earth and its people.
Endymion gulped, never in his life would he would imagine in his 19 year old self captivated by such beauty. He was well known for being a Gentleman, a charmer, however he never showed any interest in women that even his mother had begun to question his sexuality. Women would fall head over heels for him, only to be turned away, and yet here he was, the great Prince Charming Endymion staring at the Lady who just seemed to fall from Heaven itself.
"My Lord." Kunzite's voice broke him from his trance."Have you been paying attention?"
"My apologies, please repeat that Kunzite." He told him.
"Your Father wants you to greet the Duke of Weston as he has a few matters to attend in Ingor." Kunzite repeated the King's orders. Endymion only nodded and turned his gaze back to where the Lady was supposed to be, however she was not there, was she only a part of his imagination? Was he hallucinating? Perhaps he was, he had never known such a beauty ever existed, or the word of her fairness would have spread through the whole Kingdom.
Endymion stood up, he was on the terrace of the Castle, his mother had always told him not to go there, but he couldn't care less. He went downstairs with Kunzite stalking behind. Down in the East Wing of the Castle where his and his Shitennou's room were, he saw Zoisite winning a game of chess against Jadeite.
"Where is mother?" Endymion questioned a passing servent, the servant respectfully bowed and answered,"Her Majesty is in the Gardens having tea with other noble ladies."
Endymion gave him a thanks and rushed to the Gardens to his mother who was having tea with other noble ladies in the Gardens. They were all gossiping and such, Lady Sapphire was announcing the engagement of her son, Lord Gangue. Endymion remembered the spoiled brat beating his servants up until he himself interrupted, he wondered which poor thing got stuck with him.
As soon as he came in the Gardens, the noble ladies all stood up the flocked him like moths on a candle. Ladies were straightening their dresses and adjusting their hair. Those ladies were the bane of his life, never leaving him at balls or galas to the point that they all got annoying. He greeted all who came towards him and made a beeline for his mother.
His mother, Queen Gaia, was considered the most beautiful Lady of the Kingdom even in her forties. She was a woman of elegance and grace no doubt. But the Lady in the meadow never left his thoughts.
"Mother," He started his request, he knew that he was 19 years old by now but he had to take her permission,"May I go to the meadow behind the Castle for a bit?" His mother never really cared about such stuff and simply gave him permission to go. That's where the question rose, shall he allow his Guardians to come with him?
Part of him wanted to take them with him while the other did not. He decided not to.
Endymion got off the steed and looked around, he would go around the elevated areas in the meadow to find no one was there. Perhaps she really was his imagination. Was he going mad? He had heard stories of the Mad King Rhode, who had gone insane only a few weeks after his coronation. Surely that was not going to be the same in his case, would it? Maybe no one can know the answer to that.
