Friday Night SmackDown: 3/2/2006

SmackDown was live in Orlando, Florida. Current the General Manager of SmackDown, Teddy Long, was in the ring with a microphone in hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to SmackDown, the 2006 Royal Rumble match winner!" The crowd began Cheering. "He is the Demon Wolf of the WWE...THE BLADEWOLF!"

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

I Stand Alone plays to a loud pop from Orlando and the Bladewolf walks out to a pop from the fans. He looked around at the cheering crowd who were chanting for him. He smirks a little and walks down the ramp towards the ring, getting onto the apron and enters the ring while taking the offered microphone from Teddy Long. His theme dies down as Teddy Long exits the ring.

Bladewolf slowly walks around inside the ring, taking in the ovation at being back in the WWE after 10 long months. He smirked a little at the cheering fans.

"I'm back." He stated and the crowd pops in response. He waits for it to die down before speaking. "For 10 long months I've been gone because of a cowardly attack at the hands of Randy Orton who tossed me into a casket and set it on fire." The crowd booed. "All to get into my older brother's head. Randy, you clearly saw what happens when you mess with the Brothers of Destruction!" The crowd cheers again. "You lost at WrestleMania last year, you lost inside the Devil's playground, but you did indeed toss my older brother into a casket and set it on fire...just like my brother Kane did to Undertaker many years ago. Orton, your business with my family isn't over, far from it. You have to deal with me now. That is why I am challenging you to a match at No Way Out."

Randy Orton's theme hits to boos and the Legend Killer comes out onto the stage, making sure to not get into the ring as the Bladewolf glared at him.

"I should be the Royal Rumble winner." Orton stated and the fans booed in response while Bladewolf coldly looked on. "If it wasn't for you returning, I would've eliminated Triple H and Rey Mysterio and headlined WrestleMania 22."

"You brought this fate upon yourself, boy." Bladewolf growled.

Orton scoffed. "All because I attacked you nearly a year ago? I thought you would've let it go by now. But no matter, at No Way Out...I accept. On one condition. You have to put your WrestleMania Championship match on the line. If I win, I go to WrestleMania and face the World Heavyweight Champion. If you win...well, you haven't exactly made a choice on which Champion you will face."

Bladewolf stared Orton down before lifting the microphone to his lips. "Done." He growled. The crowd cheered. Randy Orton vs the Bladewolf was confirmed for No Way Out. The winner goes to WrestleMania for the Championship match. "BUT, I choose the match." Orton shrugged. "Our match...I'll tell you later tonight."

Orton didn't seem happy with that as he and Bladewolf stared each other down before SmackDown went to commercial break.

The first match of the night was MNM defending their WWE Tag Team Championships against the Wolfpack who had invoked their rematch clause tonight. MNM tried to go for the same distraction they did at the Royal Rumble, but Jackal scared Melina away before spearing Mercury while Bloodwolf lifted Nitro up and hits a Fireman's Carry Cutter. Jackal and Bloodwolf then hit the PowerBomb/Neckbreaker finisher for the win and getting their 7th WWE Tag Team Championship reign.

The camera caught them walking backstage with their newly won titles over their shoulders before stopping when they ran into Bladewolf. The fans cheered at seeing all 3 members of the Wolfpack together again after nearly a year.

"Nicely done on winning those belts for the 7th time." Bladewolf says, getting nods from Bloodwolf and Jackal. "Try and keep a hold of them for a bit longer this time and not get distracted like at the Rumble."

Jackal held his hands up in response. "Hey, Melina kissed me." He said.

Bladewolf smirked before shaking his head and walked away, leaving Bloodwolf and Jackal to look at each other and shrug.

Later on, it was Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry and Randy Orton in the main event of the night. Angle ended up chasing Henry into the crowd, allowing Orton to hit an RKO on Mysterio and get the win. His theme played as the crowd booed him.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The fans popped at the wolf howl as Orton looks around before the lights went out and a dark blue and red light was cast upon Orton, freaking him out

"Hello Randy..." The crowd popped when the Bladewolf's voice was heard. "This is the Bladewolf!" Orton escapes the ring, trying to head up the ramp but the stage pyro explodes, causing Orton to fall onto his back and scatter back towards the ring. "What's wrong, Randy? Are you scared? You didn't seem so scared when you stuffed me in a casket and set it abalze. You tried to kill me, Randy..." Orton looks around inside the ring before exiting it. "But I'm the one who does the killing!"

Orton tries escaping through the crowd but a Lightning Bolt hits a metal bar, causing Orton to quickly run back to the ring and crawl into it, looking around for his opponent at No Way Out.

"You look lost, boy!" Bladewolf said as Orton was now on his hands and knees. "Randy, I've decided what our match will be at No Way Out. You will be joining me...inside Hell in the Cell!"

Bladewolf's theme plays as Orton's eyes widened while the crowd cheers. Randy Orton is going to Hell...Hell in a Cell at No Way Out. Orton had only been in a Hell in a Cell match back at Armageddon against the Undertaker and he lost that match. It seems there really will be No Way Out for Orton come the PPV.

Friday Night SmackDown: 10/2/2006

Friday Night SmackDown was live in Columbus, Georgia. Current MNM were in the ring as they would be facing the Wolfpack in a Non-Title match, due to invoking their rematch clause at No Way Out with the stipulation than MNM cannot challenge for the titles as long as The Wolfpack are the WWE Tag Team Champions.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

I Stand Alone hits and out comes the Bladewolf alongside Jackal and Bloodwolf, the latter two with the WWE Tag Team Championships around their waists. Usually all three members were the Champions under the Freebird rule but because Bladewolf wasn't there when they won the titles, he wasn't the Tag Team Champion.

Bladewolf and Jackal enter the ring while Bloodwolf stays outside, holding the two Tag Titles as Bladewolf's theme dies down and the 3-time WWE Champion takes off his trench coat before tossing it outside.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Jackal gets onto the apron as does Mercury, leaving Bladewolf and Nitro to start the natch off. Bladewolf and Nitro lock up before the taller man overpowered Nitro and takes him down with a shoulder block before landing an elbow onto Nitro's chest. Bladewolf hammers away at Nitro's skull a few times before picking him up and hits a German Suplex that sends Nitro across the ring.

Bladewolf approaches Nitro and boots him in the chest multiple times before dragging him over and tags in Jackal who comes in and lands a boot to Nitro's face while Bladewolf gets onto the apron. Jackal unleashes lefts and rights to Nitro before picking him up, Irish whips him off the ropes and takes him down with a clothesline.

Bloodwolf suddenly runs around the ring and takes Mercury off the apron and tosses him into the barricade as the referee wants him off. Bladewolf uses the distraction to run into the ring...AND HIT A SPEAR ON NITRO!

Bladewolf rolls out of the ring as Jackal hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE WOLFPACK WIN THE MATCH!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

I Stand Alone plays as all three members of the Wolfpack stand in the ring, looking tall and triumphant as MNM recover outside the ring. Jackal and Bloodwolf lift their titles while Bladewolf looks at the WrestleMania 22 sign before the trio leave the ring and head to the back.

And that's it for this chapter. The next one will be No Way Out, skipping the SmackDown before the event. At No Way Out, it's Randy Orton vs the Bladewolf inside Hell in a Cell with Bladewolf's WrestleMania Main Event on the line.
