Of course, before Cynthia would actually be behind bars, she needed to have her trial.
The court case was a complicated one and the jury was needed. Cynthia was nervous, yet hopeful, as the jury deliberated. Soon enough, the jury returned.
"Has the jury reached a verdict?" the judge asked.
"We have, your honor," one of the jurors said. "We, the jury, after careful deliberation, find the defendant Cynthia Shirona, guilty of all charges."
Cynthia couldn't believe it! Ash was 14 and she was 20. Yes, the difference was there, but was it really that bad?
"Yes, it was," the narrator said. "If Ash was like, 17, that'd be one thing. As it stood, at 14 years old, Ash was still too young for Cynthia."
And so another case was closed!
