Wow! I wasn't expecting responses so fast! Thank you! I was going to wait a week or so to post this but since people are apparently reading, here you go :)

Nate didn't speak. He didn't blink. His chest didn't even seem to move. His entire body seemed frozen in the spot. She'd ruined their passionate mood, she knew, but she didn't want to tell him after. Despite the reassurance of her fantasies, she still feared his reaction.

So instead, she sat straddling his lap with her blazer and jacket thrown to the size of his bed. He'd had his hand up her thigh just under her skirt. She'd have thought he would move it but he didn't. He was stuck staring at her as if she were a black hole about to suck her in. Or the barrel of a loaded gun. He looked almost betrayed and it hurt her heart to see.

When she'd insisted they talk after school, this isn't what he'd expected. Blair had considered, on the way to his house, simply not telling him and acting surprised when the baby came. But she doubted that would work. She also considered waited a couple months to make sure she was sure, but she wasn't sure how far along she was.

Five weeks. She decided, It's Nate's baby so five weeks.

He hadn't spoken since she'd said it. Since she'd blurted out the words over his as he spoke over her lips about how much he'd missed her and wanted her.

"Do you love me?" She'd asked.

"More than anything." He'd answered.

"Do you want to spend forever with me?" He'd pulled her down onto his lap while kissing her, wanting to taste every part of her body. He didn't care what needed to be said, their bodies were saying enough.

"Yes... please." He'd moaned sliding her shirt up over her chest, letting his fingers take care in memorizing her soft, warm skin from her hips to her bra. His hands had cupped her breasts for a moment making her lose her breath against his lips. Then he'd slowly continued until he removed her shirt.

"No matter what?" She'd asked, almost desperately. He'd misunderstood this as her request for validation in the impending closeness of their bodies.

"Yes Blair." He'd answered confidently moving one hand down to her knee while the other cupped her neck and brought it closer to his mouth so he could nibble and kiss her neck. The hand by her knee had starting moving north towards the part of her body- -he thought- -only he had ever touched.

"Are you sure?" He'd thought she'd become more confident and it gave him a deep feeling of guilt. Maybe she was confident. Maybe she always had been. Did that mean it was him? That he was a poor boyfriend who made her feel she was lacking something? He tried to shake the fear and focus on her body. He'd returned his lips to meet hers and kissed her as he switched his hands so the right one was moving up her leg and skirt.

"I've never been more sure of anything... move your leg." He'd instructed as he used one hand on her hip to hold her steady while the first tried to get her legs wider for him.

"I'm pregnant."

He hadn't believed her at first. He hadn't wanted to.

"That Gossip Girl blast wasn't about Serena, it was about me." A part of her was happy that she'd said it. That she'd gotten it out of the way. But another part of her regretting it. And that part seemed to be the more vocal of the two. "Nate."

"Give me a minute." His voice wasn't soft but it also wasn't cruel. That gave her hope.

"It'll be okay." She decided but wished she would just shut up and let him process this on his own. She didn't want to say something to make it worse but she felt too nervous and couldn't stop her mouth from working on its own. "We have the money. And we love each other, you just said so. I know this is a little early, but it's not the absolute worst thing is it?"

"I'm sixteen!" He snapped in response.

"Only for a few more months!"

"Seventeen is too young." He decided a little loudly as he started to push her off of him. He needed to breathe, "Eighteen is too young... Twenty is too young!"

"Not for us!" She really wished she would keep her mouth shut. "We're financially stable, we have access to all the help we'll need. We love each other, we want to spend the rest of our lives together...!"

"High school!" He snapped. "We're teenagers, forever means the rest of high school."

"No it doesn't." She snapped.

"And your family might be financially stable, but mine isn't!" He stood up and started pacing the room with his hands pulling nervously at his hair.

"My money is enough to support us until after collage."

"What if your mom cuts you off?" He demanded suddenly. "Do you honestly think she'd support this?!"

It felt like a blow to the knees but at least she had the bed to fall back on. She sat now and watched him pace. Her voice was smaller as she answered, "She won't be happy, but she won't make her grandchild suffer for my mistakes."

He made a small string of grumbled noises that roughly resembled "mistakes is an understatement."

"You were a willing participant!" She snapped. "You know the risks! I never tried to get pregnant! This is the last thing I wanted."

"Then let's deal with this." He suggested with a little too much enthusiasm for her tastes. He lowered to his knees in front of her and put his hands on her legs. "We have options."

"I've considered all of those." She told him.

"And?"

"And I'm having my baby."

His eyes shut tightly and he shook his head once.

"Adoption." He suggested, not opening his eyes. His fingers digging lightly and nervously into her skin.

"The idea of someone else raising my baby... It wouldn't be fair for us to have a child who had to grow up with parents who could barely afford their mortgage."

"You mean adults with nine-to-five jobs and a desire for children?" He snapped.

"Nate... I'm sorry."

"God, damn it, Blair!" He snapped, getting up and running his hands through his hair once more. "Why do you have to be so difficult?!"

"I'm not being difficult, I'm being mature about this." She stated certainly.

"Mature?! How is it mature for a seventeen year old girl to keep an unwanted pregnancy? And the baby?"

"It's mature enough when that seventeen year old is a millionaire! And this baby has already helped me mature in ways I never thought I would. I could have not told you! I was considering that. Of letting drama roll out like it usually does, with you finding out either because of Gossip Girl, or because Chuck told you!"

"Chuck?" He asked then his eyes widened slightly. "Chuck knows?!"

"Serena told him." She answered crossing her arms over her chest.

"That's why you told me!" He accused. "That's not maturity, that's manipulation!"

"Excuse me!?"

"You told me because you knew the alternative was me hearing it from Chuck!"

"Would your reaction be any better if you'd heard it from Chuck?! At least then I could have avoided you while you went through this. Actually, you probably would have gone straight to Serena who would have had to convince you to be okay with it, but you wouldn't be and that's very clear." She stood and crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm sorry that you are not happy about this. Neither am I. But it's happening with or without you."

"It's happening with me, incidentally." He snapped. "Because it's my baby- -where are you going?"

"Home." She stated as she stomped towards the door. "You can call me if and when you are ready to apologize."

"Apologize?!" He yelled. "For what?!"

But she'd already gone.

"It's the hormones." Chuck told Nate as they walked through the park. Chuck was smoking. Nate was lost in thought with his hands in his pockets. Their greeting had been short and simple with Nate jumping into the back of the limo demanding to know how long Chuck had known. Chuck instantly knew what he was talking about and answered, explaining Serena had sworn him to secrecy but he would have told Nate later if Blair hadn't. "Good luck with that."

"I just... can't believe this is happening." Nate said. "I can't believe I'm going to be a dad."

"Maybe you're not." It wasn't often Chuck said things too impulsively. But when he did, he was fairly good at turning it into a rude comment or assumption. He made a sideways glance at Nate and continued, "Have you considered a paternity test?"

"I'm the father." Nate said with a certainty that filled Chuck with a small sense of loathing. "Blair hasn't been with anyone else."

Chuck wanted very much to know exactly what Blair had done to convince Nate this was the case. She'd been significantly different the first time and the second time they'd been together, and every time after she got better and more confident. How did she fake the way she tried to pretend she was confident in him touching her. The way she tried to pretend the feeling of him inside her wasn't a complete shock. Chuck was so lost in the memory that Nate had to pull him out of the way before he fell in the duck pond.

"What's wrong with you, man?" Nate wondered.

"Sorry." Chuck brushed himself off and tried to calm himself down. He hadn't been able to be sexually stimulated by much other than the thought of Blair. He didn't like losing the chance when he got it. "I was just thinking about you two changing diapers."

"I think that will be Dorota's job." Nate answered. Chuck laughed as if he thought it was funny, but he would willingly change the diapers himself just to have that paternity test.

"Are you sure the baby is yours, Nate? You did worry about her and that other guy- -what's he name...?"

"She never slept with him." Nate stated certainly.

"What about when you and I went away?" Chuck pushed. "How do you know she didn't have someone then? You said yourself, she's been pulling away."

"She would have told me." Nate snapped.

"Like you told her about Serena?" Chuck was fairly certain he was angering Nate, but he also wanted Nate angry. He wanted him angry enough to push Blair away or to demand the test.

"That's enough, Chuck, Blair didn't cheat on me." Nate decided.

"Alright." Chuck surrendered for the moment. "Whatever you say. I guess you have to trust your baby mama."

"Ugh, don't say that?"

"What, that you have to trust her?"

"Baby mama." Nate groaned.

"Too soon?"

"It will always been too soon." Nate put his face in his hands for a moment and roughly rubbed his face. "I don't know how I'm going to do this."

"I'll help you." Chuck vowed, clapping his friend on the back a little harder than what was necessary.

"Thanks man." Nate slumped his shoulders a little. "It's just... did it have to be now?"

Chuck didn't answer because he didn't know how. He felt for his friend, and wished as much as Nate did that this wasn't happening to him. That Nate and Blair weren't going to be having a baby together, but a large part of him knew that very little of that wish had anything to do with Nate's benefit. He didn't mind so much that Blair was pregnant, but he didn't want it to be Nate's baby. If he ever let that slip, he would claim it was because of his concern for Nate, but deny it as much as he could, he knew the truth. The thought of anyone else baby inside her made him want to roll over and die.

Everything in him was repulsed by the idea. He wanted to hit Nate for even considering the baby might be his. Chuck shook his head and tried to relieve himself of the anger he felt towards Nate in that moment. He couldn't tell Nate he though it was his, though. Not without having to explain why. Chuck and Blair hadn't technically done anything wrong. They never touched each other while Nate and Blair were dating but Chuck knew Nate wouldn't see it that way.

But certainly he had to understand. Chuck shook his head knowing the idea would end terribly. He couldn't send in a tip to Gossip Girl. Not yet anyways.
