The brunette boy brushed the soft palm of his hand against his pale skin as he tried to remember where on earth he was. The ground under him was moving and if he didn't know better, he would think it was an earthquake - but he did know better and his mind lightened as he remembered the british face of a blonde man; Klaus Mikealson.

He rushed to his feet and tried to stay steady himselt, to try and resist the falling as stumbled out of the room he was put into. He couldn't remember how or when he had gone there or how long he had stayed, he could only figure out one thing - he no longer wished to stay there.

As soon as he stepped into the daylight, a voice greeted him, "Young Sebastian, welcome back." it was the kind man from yesterday - or maybe the other day, since he couldn't remember how long he had slept.

"Sir," he greeted him. The young boy couldn't think of another thing to say, so he stayed still and kept his mouth closed, until the man ordered him what to do - he was good at taking orders.

"Come here," there came the order from the brunette man sitting next to Klaus and Sebastian glanced at Klaus to see if he approved. The look was greeted with a nod, so he moved closer to their small group who were sitting around, the lord of the ship, the brown-haired man with a soft and long tune and a pretty blonde woman.

"This was the boy I was talking about, Elijah. His name is Sebastian; Sebastian Salvatore." Elijah? Even weirder than Klaus. The man observed Sebastian and his look - it made him melt, evolve into thin air making his cells burn. At last, he looked away and Sebastian felt a weight lifting up his shoulders.

"He doesn't seem very special." he sounded bored and Klaus chuckled. To his surprise, Sebastian didn't seem offended. He was used to be called nothing, and to be honest, it was an honour to be called not-special by a lord for a change. "He is too young."

"He is homeless, brother," brother? "And he resists compulsion. He will make it into the world." Klaus raised his glass and pointed at Sebastian. "He is good, Elijah." and Sebastian wondered, what am I good at?

Klaus reached out to the servant standing behind him, whom had gone unknown until she was pointed at, and she walked up to Klaus as if she were hypnotized - like she didn't know what was going on or where she was. Sebastian still remembered the numbness he had felt while he was ordered by the pirate, it was cold and cruel and blinding, deafening.

Klaus stood up and talked to the girl, "you won't scream, you won't move. Just embrace the fear." the girl nodded, repeating the words as if she was possessed by him and then he touched her neck, as if he was kissing him; the only weird thing was, red liquid was streaming down her neck - blood.

That was when he saw it - pointy sharp front teeth, bloody eyes and veins peircing theough his skin, blood pumping on his face, vivid and on display. Klaus's eyes were shining a bright yellow, like the eyes of a wolf and he was drinking from her neck. Bloody hell, he thought terrified, a vampire.

"You are doing it dirty, Niklaus," the blonde woman mumbled as she stood up and licked the blood off her neck, pushing him away, showing off her own teeth, biting the other side of neck. Sebastian should've felt scared surrounded by blood suckers but he didn't. Instead he praised the beauty in power, the power they had was beyond his imagination - to make people obey you, to drink the most living liquid on earth, to feed on people's fear. That was what revenge looked like and Sebastian was more than impatient to experience it.

"You are vampires?" he muttered, still astonished by the way they lived. "What else are you capable of?" before hearing the vampire's answer, his mind flew to what he could possibly do if he was one… killing his parents was on his checklist.

"See, brother…" Klaus smirked, "he is bloodthirsty."

10 years later:

"SEBASTIAN!" Klaus screamed the orphan's name, the boy he had adopted years ago - whom had turned out to be an eighteen year old young man -, and he heard nothing. "Sebastian!"

"What? What?" Sebastian entered the room as he was tidying his shirt, "the whole town can hear you, Klaus." he had brown hair, as he used to when he was a kid, as did his blue-green eyes which still shone as brightly as when he was a kid, "I thought we were staying here for a couple of days."

"Yes, we are." Klaus shrugged, "you just need to be careful, don't mess around. Where were you anyways?"

"I was riding."

"Who?" Klaus chuckled and so did Sebastian, putting a smirk on. They knew each other's language. Klaus had grown quite fond of the boy in front of him during the past few years. He cared for him like a father would for his child, and it was scary.

"So, master," Sebastian mocked, "what is the plan?" Klaus flinched at the words. Sebastian had been overambitious about turning, and now that he had, he sounded more arrogant. What if he didn't survive? Rippers weren't rare and he hadn't drank much. He had taken him in with intentions of changing him into a brand new kind of vampire, a master of his own. Klaus had taken him in just to give him a chance to be the most powerful creature on the world but now, as he had grown fond of him, he was afraid of what he was capable of doing.

Sebastian had shown interest from the moment they showed him who they were. He had been eager to train in self-control, reservation and self-esteem; growing up to be a master when Klaus could no longer support him. But the anger remained inside him, living and growing and Klaus wondered what he could become. Could he turn his back on the origin itself, Klaus?

"You'll know, boy," Klaus patted him on the shoulders, "soon enough." and he could see the grin on brunette's lips and once again Klaus Mikealson found himself unsure of what they were capable of doing, him and Sebastian. Especially with them, coming back to where the boy had been first thrown into this life - the southern borders of England. He could grow out of control while their stay and the last thing Klaus wanted was vampire hunters chasing them down.

"Be careful, young man!" a woman protested as Sebastain did a flip back to jump over the cabbages in the middle of the street. A few of the girls gasped at the gesture and Sebastian smiled, he enjoyed being that guy. He winked at one of the prettiest girl, before he disappeared into the crowd, sure that he was followed by if not several but at least one pretty angel… coming right into the devil's trap.

"Excuse me, sir?" a woman called from behind her and her soft tune made Sebastian chuckle, but he put on his innocent face and turned to face her.

"Yes, miss?" he turned to face her and smile, "how can I help you?"

"Didn't you drop something?"

"Have I?" He made a face, "I don't think so."

"But I know you did." the girl smiled flirtatiously and Sebastian moved closer to her, making the distance between them less than five feet.

"And what is that?" he smirked and whispered into her skin and she flinched with desire. He could see where they were going and he could admit that he liked it.

"This?" the girl said and closed the distance between them, crushing her lips against his and Sebastian found his hand slipping under her gown, his lips kissing her back and her soft skin felt good against his. Sebastian moved his legs in sync with hers and pushed her against the wall, his lips moving to her neck, kissing her softly as his mind flew to how could she have possibly tasted. He wasn't the one to know - he hadn't tasted the flowing rush in her body, yet he longed to know.

The girl's soft moan dragged him out of his blurred thoughts and he tried to focus on kissing her more than dream of sucking her neck for the sake of a taste of immortality. "I wish I… could… taste you." he said in between his kissed and the girl chuckled. Little did she know that she had been a target the moment she kisses him. "I am going to." Sebastian said as he pulled away and looked at her, pushing his fangs into the soft skin of her neck. "It is either now or never." he chuckled.

He pulled her up and placed her comfortable on his shoulder, "Sleep well, beautiful. You will be my first taste of revenge in this city." he started moving slowly to disappear into the darkness to make his way back to the floating ship, filled with creatures of darkness now flying free over the town, where he lived when he was young. Yes, these streets were where he grew up and this place was -

"Put her down." a feminine voice ordered and Sebastian turned to face the source. A girl, no doubt in that, but who she was? He couldn't tell as she was hiding in the dark.

"I didn't hear you, young lady." he said with a husky voice as he tried to sound bored. He was eager to see the face challenging the most powerful creature in the whole world. "Maybe you should come closer?"

"You wish, bloodsucker." the girl said angrily and blood froze in Sebastian's veins; she knew who - what - he was. Sebastian could feel panic taking over and he took a deep breath. She couldn't do anything - she wasn't strong enough to. And he had the strongest vampire in the world on his side. It's alright. He told himself but he could see the panic taking over him - like he was back to being the little boy on the deck of the pirate's ship and all he could think about was the fact his parents sold him. Anger now was taking over. It is good, anger is good.

"Who are you?" Sebastian said after taking the control of himself again. "Show me who you are in the light of this beautiful moon shining above."

"Let her go." she ordered again, warning in her voice and Sebastian chuckled.

"What if I don't?" he asked, a smirk on his face, "are you going to hunt down the big bad vampire, little girl? Are you going to call for mama when I am getting a taste of you as well?"

"You asked for it." the girl growled as if a lioness was wounded and raised her hands, "I am going to enjoy this." Sebastian found the smirk on his face fading, his blood running warm as he was getting ready to run in vampire speed to her and grab ahold of the situation.

But luck wasn't on his side tonight as before he got a chance to even take a step, the girl muttered something and he felt an unbearable pain taking over his organs. He felt as if his eyes were scratched out and the breath was knocked out of his lungs. And then, he passed out.
