The house was empty since her supposed death. People believed that her daughter was dead, lost after a giant stone fall on her during the earthquake, killing her immediately. And now she was with him. Being a wife and a mother to his children.
Rose had cut any connections with her, her own mother. Ruth had tried to put some sense on her daughter, making her realize how fool she would be if she run away with him. Rose had yelled telling that they don't live in 1900s and that women should not be forced in a marriage anymore. And with that she left with him. And now the only connection they had was at Christmas time or her birthday.
Damn you Jack Dawson, she cursed slightly. The house was empty, she could only afford only one maid and some really expensive jewellery and clothes were gone, sold so she could have food. The Hockleys gave her a check of 50,000$ and then left her alone. She thought she heard that Caledon had married Marianne Ater and had two children Nathan Hockley and Megan Hockley. Even Caledon had moved on and she was still there, clinging onto the ghosts of her old life. Most people would find her old-fashioned that she was happy with that kind of lifestyle but really, she did not care a bit.
The house seemed to be getting hotter as she walked in the Sitting Room, and gazing around. Opening a drawer she found a picture that Rose send her one month before.
It was the reason she had forgotten her. She had another family, a husband that gives her nothing if you compare them with Cal's inheritance, a son that found that he had a talent in singing and a daughter...that girl only caused her pain since she was born nothing else. She couldn't understand how Rose loved her so much.
She wanted to rip his face. Rose would never understand how fool she was because these blue eyes would always fool her.
"Daddy come and see me dancing!" nine year old Rose DeWitt Bukater exclaimed, running inside her father's study. He was sitting in his desk writing a speech to read in his clients.
"Not now Rose. Go back with your Mother. I'm busy"
"But daddy Mother is mean! She wants me to hold cups and not being able to sit down!"
"That's how a right lady should be raised Rose. One day you'll be teaching your daughter the same things too. Now get off here and don't get unless you have permission"
A small cry erupted from Rose's throat as she opened her eyes and looked around. She always had flashbacks from her childhood, from her mean father to her forceful mother. She felt so blessed by God to be a woman with reasoning and that her husband was not a bad person. In fact, she was surprised they are still these kind of men.
Jack was sleeping besides her, the cuteness spreading his face and his chest rising and falling softly. Rose leaned her head against his back as she wrapped her arm around his chest, enjoying the smell. Sandalwood and aftershave. She loved this mix of two and she was feeling blessed to smell it everyday.
Jack turned at his sleep and suprised Rose turned away but Jack caught her with his free arm and pulled her to his chest.
"Sweet dreams Rose" he mumbled, kissing her forehead and falling asleep again.
Rose chuckled. "Sweet dreams Jack"
"Please let me go!"
"Don't play hard darling. You want it as much I do"
"Don't call me darling you bastard!""You are mine now. Who do you think can save you? This little boy that you call brother? Or your pathetic excuses of friends?"
"Darling wake up. It's only a bad dream"
"Don't call me darling!"
Rose's eyes narrowed as her daughter opened her eyes and looked at her. The sweat was running down her forehead and cheeks, her eyes soaked with tears. The nightclothes and the bed had also been a mess.
"Oh my God" Rosalie whispered, standing up and wiping the sweat of her forehead. "I'm a mess"
"Don't worry about it" Rose said softly, opening the closet and grabbing a towel. "Go and get a shower. You'll feel better"
After fifteen minutes, Rose sat at the edge of the bed, stroking Rosalie's hair. "Do you want to talk about it?"
She shrugged. "Nothing. I don't even remember it now" she lied. "Probably something stupid that you forget soon"
Rose chuckled. "I know the feeling. Do you mind if we do something bad once?" she asked mischievously.
"What do you mean?"
"You lost sleep and you'll be in a bad shape now. I'm sure your father won't object if we skip classes for one day"
Rosalie grinned. "I'm in."
Returning back to the bedroom, Rose opened the lamp of the bedside table as she sat down on the bed. Jack wrapped his arm around her waste.
"Where had you been?" he asked, nuzzling her neck. Rose closed her eyes feeling his lips against her neck, as he moved to her shoulders.
"It was Rosalie. She had a nightmare and we decided she won't go to school tomorrow"
Jack laughed. "Imagine if your mother hears about it"
"I can't believe what's your husband is doing Rose" she said in a fake voice. They both laughed. Rose gasped as she felt his teeth graze her neck and his hand slipping between her legs.
"Soft or rough?" he asked in a kinky voice.
Rose smirked. "Rough"

"Now now Megan" Caledon Hockley said. "Stop fussing. Your mother needs a peaceful and quiet environment, she doesn't need you"
Megan Hockley reddened in anger. "I wish you both go to hell! I can't help but hate you!"
Nathan gasped as his father slapped his sister and grabbed her arm. "Don't talk to me like that. You'll respect me and your mother. You don't want ending up being a whore"
Megan cupped her red cheek. "Because I don't respect you I'll be a whore?"
Cal smirked. "Trust me yes"
