Everyone then walked to the store. When they were in the store the immediately saw several isles of school supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks and backpacks. Nicole then headed over to a turquoise satchel with a silver diamond shaped button closing it. Aelita then noticed a pink backpack that had a pink artificial rose quartz ball chain (like the necklace in the 'Saint Valentine's Day, episode 32) on it.
"How much do those bags cost?" Jeremy asked.
Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy then walked over to the backpack section. Nicole and Aelita then looked at the price tags for the bags. The one Nicole wanted was $10.00 but considering it was 50% off the price was now $5.00.
"That one looks really cool. The price seems reasonable too." Jeremy said.
"So, I can get it?" Nicole asked.
Jeremy nodded.
Nicole then grabbed the bag.
"Aelita, be careful. We have to stay within the spending range so if I were you, I'd check the price tag." Nicole said.
"Where's the price tag?" Aelita asked.
"That white thing hanging off the strap of the backpack." Nicole replied.
Aelita then looked at it and it read $7.00. But since it was 50% off it was now $3.50.
"You can get it." Nicole said.
"So, what kind of pencils do you guys want?" Yumi asked.
"There's different kinds of pencils?" Aelita asked.
Yumi nodded.
Nicole and Aelita then headed for the pencil section. When they were there they saw some pink and turquoise pencils. The pencil erasers were the same color as the pencils. The one's Nicole was looking at had a striped pattern while the one's Aelita was looking had had polka dots on them. The packs of pencils were $2.00 each, but since the whole store was having a half off all school supplies sale the pencil packs were $1.00 each.
"So, the last thing you two need are some new school notebooks." Ulrich said.
"And where do they keep those exactly?" Nicole asked.
"Aisle 8." Ulrich replied.
Nicole and Aelita then went down Aisle 8. When they went down there half of the isle was nothing but notebooks. Nicole and Aelita then found two notebooks that caught their eyes. Nicole saw a turquoise notebook that had a silver owl on the front. Aelita had found a notebook that had a pink glitter background and it said 'angels only' on the front. When Aelita looked on the back of the notebook it said 'keep calm and be a princess'.
"You should get that one Aelita." Ulrich said.
"Wow Nicole that one's pretty cool." Yumi said.
"Aelita, don't forget about the price tag." Nicole said.
"Thanks for reminding me, I almost forgot about that." Aelita said.
Aelita and Nicole then turned over the tags. The notebooks were originally $5.00, but because of the sale the notebooks were now $2.50.
"I've calculated the amount and we should have two dollars left." Nicole said.
"There are some pencil sharpeners that are fifty cents each. Why don't you two try looking at those?" Ulrich said.
"Wait, what about tax?" Nicole asked.
"That's true." Jeremy said.
"Wait, I found a five-dollar bill on the way here so we should have enough for the pencil sharpeners and tax." Nicole said.
Nicole then got the five-dollar bill out of her pocket and handed it to Jeremy. Nicole and Aelita then headed over to where the pencil sharpeners were. Nicole found a turquoise pencil sharpener and Aelita found a pink one. Everyone then went over to the register. After checking all the items and paying everyone then left back for the school.
"Thanks guys, this stuff is really cool." Nicole said.
"It's not a problem." Jeremy said.
"I just wish there was some way we could pay you back." Nicole said.
"Don't worry about it, all we ask is that you just enjoy the supplies." Yumi said.
"Oh trust me, we will." Nicole said.
Nicole then took all the turquoise stuff out and put it in her bag. Aelita did the same. Nicole then went to her dorm and put her bag on the back of her door.
"I can't wait to start classes tomorrow." Nicole said.
"Well, that makes one of us." Odd said.
"How come?" Nicole asked.
"Odd here doesn't like school." Ulrich replied.
"That's a shame? How come you don't like school Odd?" Nicole asked.
"I like video games and playing with Kiwi." Odd replied.
"So, you like to play Fruit Ninja?" Nicole asked.
"No, he has a dog named Kiwi." Ulrich replied.
"Oh yeah, that dog in the Scanners Room, was that Kiwi?" Nicole said.
"Yeah, you want to see him?" Odd asked.
"Sure, but only if he doesn't make me trip again." Nicole said.
"I had a feeling you were going to say that." Ulrich said.
"Oh Nicole, I found this when I was looking through some things my cousin Tayuki gave me." Yumi said.
Yumi then handed Nicole a book.
"What kind of book is this?" Nicole asked.
"It's from a series call Tara Duncan. It's about three teenagers who have powers and battle evil people called Semchanchs." Yumi replied.
"Thanks, this seems cool. I'm definitely going to have to read this in my spare time." Nicole said.
"Well, since your classes start tomorrow you can read it now if you want." Yumi said.
"I will, and thanks again." Nicole said.
"Your welcome." Yumi said.
Yumi then shut the door to the room. Two hours later Nicole got an idea.
'Maybe I can cast these spells to.' Nicole said to herself mentally.
"Via Levitus!" Nicole said.
A strange turquoise fog then appeared around Nicole's book as it started to lift in the air. Nicole then lowered it onto her bedside stand.
"Wait until I tell the boys and Aelita what just happened at dinner." Nicole said.
When it was time for dinner Nicole went over to where the boys and Aelita were. Nicole had spaghetti, a bread roll, salad with French dressing and a slice of chocolate cake. Nicole then sat down.
"Hey Nicole, what's your favorite part of your dorm?" Ulrich asked.
"The computer desk." Nicole replied.
"I thought you were going to say that." Ulrich said.
"Can I tell you guys something that is probably going to make you guys either laugh, choke on your food or drink or make you guys think I'm crazy?" Nicole asked.
"Sure." Ulrich said.
"Remember that book Yumi gave me?" Nicole said.
"Yeah, what about it?" Odd asked with a mouthful of cake.
"As dumb as this sounds, I tried performing one of the spells, and it worked." Nicole said.
Odd dropped his fork, Jeremy looked nervous, Ulrich was shocked and Aelita looked very confused.
"Which spell was it?" Jeremy asked.
"The Levitus spell." Nicole replied.
"I have an idea, after dinner why don't you show us and we'll see what we can do about it?" Jeremy said.
"Sound's like a plan." Nicole said.
So after dinner everyone went to Nicole's dorm.
"To be honest, I'm kind of nervous." Nicole said.
"You don't have to be." Jeremy said.
"Okay then, here goes. Via Levitus!" Nicole said.
After Nicole said that a turquoise fog appeared around the book as it lifted into the air. Nicole then lowered the book into Jeremy's hands.
"Look on page 49 paragraph 15 sentence 5." Nicole said.
Jeremy read it and sure enough the words 'via levitus' were written in the book clear as day. Jeremy then turned his attention to another part of the book. Jeremy then showed it to Nicole.
"Hey Nicole, why don't you try this one?" Jeremy said.
"Sure. Via opaquis!" Nicole said.
Nicole then turned invisible. Nicole then ruffled Odd's hair.
"Ulrich, can you stop messing with my hair! I know you think it's weird but come on!" Odd said.
Nicole then went over and poked Ulrich's left arm.
"I didn't do it Odd! So can you please stop!?" Ulrich said.
"Stop what? I didn't do you anything." Odd said.
Nicole then tickled Aelita's neck.
"Who's tickling me?" Aelita said in between laughs.
"Nobody's tickling you Aelita." Odd said.
"I know who is. Okay, you can stop now." Jeremy said.
"Via disapatis!" Nicole said.
Nicole then appeared next to Jeremy.
"Killjoy." Nicole coughed.
"I'm the killjoy, really?" Jeremy said.
Nicole, Aelita, Ulrich and Odd then started laughing.
"We're going to have to talk with Yumi tomorrow and tell her." Jeremy said.
"Well, I'm going to bed. Goodnight everyone." Aelita said.
"Well, I guess I'm going to bed to. See you guys tomorrow." Nicole said.
"See ya Nicole." Odd said.
After everyone else left Nicole closed her door and went to bed. The next morning everyone was in math. Nicole and Aelita were sitting with each other. Ulrich and Odd were sitting next to each other. Jeremy was sitting next to Emily. Yumi was in science. After a little while the bell finally rang and the gang met up at their favorite bench.
