"Hey Yumi?" Jeremy said.
"Yeah?" Yumi asked.
"I think Nicole here has something to tell you." Jeremy said.
"No thank you, no gracias, I don't want to sound like an idiot." Nicole said.
"Come on Nicole, I won't laugh at you." Yumi said.
"Well, since you're the oldest out of everyone in the group you might have a different opinion." Nicole said.
"Come on Nicole, quit stalling." Jeremy said.
Okay, here goes nothing. I tried to perform one of the spells from that book you gave me and it worked." Nicole said.
"You're serious? That spell worked?" Yumi asked.
"Yeah, and from what I read the spellbinders live in Rosemond, which isn't to far from here." Nicole said.
"Well, I guess we're going to Rosemond." Ulrich said.
"Ulrich, they're fictional characters for crying out loud! I say we read the book more and try to learn from that." Nicole said.
Nicole then sighed.
"But I guess we don't have a choice, do we?" Nicole said.
Everyone then got up and headed for Rosemond. After a little bit of walking everyone finally reached the Rosemond Manor. Nicole almost fainted so Odd had to pinch her. Due to the amount of surprise Nicole slapped Odd. Nicole slapped Odd so hard that there was a red mark on his cheek from where she slapped him.
"What did you do that for Nicole?" Odd asked while rubbing his stinging cheek.
"That's what I'm asking!" Nicole said angrily.
"Was there anything in the book that suggested how spellbinders get their powers?" Jeremy asked.
"Wait, I remember reading a section of the book that said something about that." Nicole said.
Nicole then handed the book to Jeremy.
"Turn the book to page 98, chapter 37, sentence 43." Nicole said.
"That's strange. According to the book spellbinders get their power from their parents." Jeremy said.
"Do you think one of Nicole's parents is a spellbinder?" Ulrich asked.
"Well, there's only one way to find out." Jeremy said.
Everyone then went up to the gate. The cameras then aimed themselves at the group. The gate then opened. Everyone then nervously eyed each other. Everyone then started walking towards the door. Nicole then lifted a shaky hand to the door. Nicole then knocked. After a little bit of nervously waiting a girl opened the door. The girl was wearing a purple shirt with a white shirt underneath, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white for the toe part. The girls hair was blond with a lighter blond streak.
"Um, hi?" Nicole said nervously.
"Who are you?" the girl asked.
"Long gone." Nicole replied.
Nicole then started running for the gate, but the gate closed on her. Nicole then tried to jump over the gate but that didn't work well. Nicole then tried to jump over the brick wall, but that didn't work either.
"Uh, what's wrong with her?" the girl asked.
"I have no idea." Ulrich said.
"Hey Tara, Master Chem has a mission for-" but Cal stopped as soon as he saw Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich, Odd, Jeremy and Nicole.
"Who are these people Tara?" Cal asked.
"I have no idea." Tara replied.
"Cal, do you know it's rude to walk out on someone while they're talking to you?" Master Chem said.
When Master Chem was outside and visible everyone found it shocking. Master Chem was very surprised when he saw Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich, Odd, Jeremy and Nicole.
"Now can we go?" Nicole asked.
"Maybe we should." Odd said.
Nicole and Odd then tried pulling on the gate but were pulled back by vines.
"What just happened?" Odd asked.
"There's vines that can toss out intruders, they can also drag someone here." Master Chem said.
"I'm sorry to interrupt this conversation but what do you think we should do with them?" Cal asked.
"Um, maybe cast a levitus and make sure they don't come back?" Nicole said.
"How do you know about spellbinding?" Cal asked.
"I've tried a spell and managed to do it." Nicole replied.
"Tara, someone's here to see you." Someone said.
When Nicole looked down she saw a dog. The dog then noticed the expression on Nicole's face.
"Was it something I said?" The dog said.
Nicole then nodded and fainted.
"Tara, it seems this girl is a spellbinder." The dog said.
"How can you say that without any proof?" Tara said.
"She understood what I was saying." The dog said.
Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy were all very confused.
"What do you think is going on over there?" Ulrich asked.
"I have absolutely no idea." Jeremy replied.
Nicole then got up.
"Talking dogs, what's next?" Nicole said.
"Spellbinder training." Tara said.
"You can't be serious." Nicole said.
"Oh I'm serious all right." Tara said.
"Lovely." Nicole said sarcastically before fainting again.
"How often does she faint exactly?" Tara asked.
"When she's overwhelmed or surprised by a new experience." Ulrich replied.
Nicole then got up.
"Are you done yet?" Ulrich asked.
Nicole then nodded.
"Nicole, I think we should be getting back to school right now, it's getting kind of late." Jeremy said while pointing to his watch.
"I guess you're right Jeremy. I'll be back here this Sunday." Nicole said.
Tara then nodded.
