Few days after first week of August.

Regina searches all of the town to follow the trace of magic and the starting point where it fuels the protection barrier, but haven't found any, so it must be new future magic she noted. Regina has become distance lately since few weeks she heard from Black Queen. Berta is bothered by it and became worried wondering what she done wrong. Regina tries to conjure her supplies from her vault in Storybrooke, but it was unsuccessful. She tries to find an organic herbal store to mix new ingredients as she become frustrated with herself why her magic is not useful like before she came here. All because Black Queen put restriction on her magic as she tries to convince her to remove some restraint, but she refuses.

Regina stopped going to work because she created a double so people can believe what they want and she can focus on trying to find ingredients and things she needs for crafting. Berta had found a new employment as a free-lance decorator because all the neighbors' houses interior and exterior are the same and becoming confusing. Berta had become trouble with the neighbors ever since she doesn't have trouble, being competitive of the best garden, or her account being overdrawn, meddling in their lives and so on. Regina drove up in the driveway from herbal store in the afternoon and noticed all the cars parked front of the house. Regina scorned to herself, not again.

Regina embraced herself as she heard yelling of 5 single ladies, Molly, Gloria, Jodie, Idgie and Gabriella to Berta who is about to freak out and in a serious trouble. Berta was simply was supposed to find out who they were, but not meddling in their lives and fixing dates for them while decorating their house.

Regina glared at Berta angrily as Berta eyes flashed back whispering shit. Berta tries to calm everyone down, but they kept yelling.

Regina stood front of Berta then force them to quiet down or she'll be kicking all of them out of the house. Regina told everyone to sit down and speak one at a time.

The three ladies; Molly, Idgie and Gabriella, yelling about their house is not met their expectations and Berta still haven't fix it because they thought she told them that they had bad taste. Regina put them on hold then refocused Gloria.

Regina pointed at Gloria, "What is the problem?"

Gloria stood up pointing at Berta yelling, "She broke my television while decorating and refusing to pay for it."

Berta stood up pushed her, "It was not my fault! I told you to leave it alone, but you moved it and then broke it! I'm not paying for something I didn't even touch or break!"

Regina touched Berta's shoulder to sit back down then eyed Gloria, "I apologize for Berta's outburst. Why don't you explain what happened?"

Berta spoke up, but Regina with her arms behind her squeeze her heart to make her silent and discreet. Berta felt like she's having heart attack then sat back down again behind Regina without a word.

Gloria smirked, "Berta moved the television to a different room to make it an movie slash game room, but I wanted in a specific room, so I moved it. Berta got in the way that caused me to break it."

Regina listened and nodded, "Why don't both of you pay half," Regina got up to grab her check from her purse, "How much is the half of it?"

Gloria smiles, "it was expensive and big, so 400."

Berta sneered at Gloria, "That's a lie! It can't be more than 600, so 300 each!"

Regina ignored her while writing check for 400 then gave it to her, "thank you for your business."

Berta pouted with her arms crossed then Gloria redirected to Berta, "If you come to my house next time, I'll be suing you for trespassing!"

Regina reassured her, "She will leave you alone, and I'll be sure of it," Regina showed her out of the door then sat across from Jodie, "What's the problem?"

Jodie pointed at Berta crossly, "I needed help to draw a guy in, you know girlfriends backup and somehow he wanted her instead of me by miscommunication."

Regina turned facing Berta while she curses herself, "I'm sorry. That was honest accident."

Jodie smirked, "Accident my ass."

Regina closed her eyes and breathes in then calmed Jodie, "Did you or Berta get his phone number or do you know him?"

Jodie pointed, "He gave his phone number to her!"

Regina furiously turned jealously, "He what?!"

Berta faced down, "It's an accident. I was trying to introduce him to her then he thought that I was leaning him on. I don't know how that happened! I'm innocent bystander."

Regina leaned closer, "You're anything but innocent," Berta stared irritably to challenge back, "I was just trying to help."

Regina rolled her eyes then redirected to Jodie, "I have an idea, Jodie," telling her to sit back down, "how about Berta call him and we'll have a double date at the restaurant then we'll leave an hour early so both of you can have some privacy. That way he will realize that she's with me."

Jodie thanked her agreed to that plan then turned her attention to Berta, "I do not like you."

Berta pouted still with her arms crossed refusing to give in.

Regina calms herself down for last three ladies about house decorating, "Ok … What is wrong with the way Berta decorated the house?"

Molly, Idgie and Gabriella stood up yelling American Home, Modern and Regina lost after that. Regina stopped them, "Now wait a minute, did all three of you sign contract about the agreement for you to pay her to decorate and so on?"

All three of them shakes their head then looked at each other puzzled, "Did you?"

Regina turned again facing Berta whispering, "Seriously?" Berta shrugged whispered back sorry.

Regina explained, "Did you pay her before or after?"

Molly answered, "we agreed to pay half, so first half payment up front. When it was completed, we pay second half, but I didn't because I'm not paying for something that I'm not satisfied with. Berta needs to fix it."

Regina nodded understanding the situation, "Since there was no contract, so Berta technically doesn't have to, but I will partner with Berta to make sure it goes smoothly. I will draw up contract for all three of you, and we can compromise about the décor of the house. How that sound?"

All three of them agreed, "We want our money back."

Regina nodded then redirected to Berta, "Give their checks back."

Berta cowers, "I can't because I use it to buy furniture and products for the house."

Regina whispered to her ears, "You are in huge trouble."

Berta curses to herself crossing her arms then apologized.

Regina tries to think of another way as she rubs her forehead sighing while facing all three of them, "How much did you pay?"

Gabriella answered, "about $6,000, so $3,000 up front and last $3,000 after."

Regina nodded still considering her solutions, "How about this? I'll pay you half of three thousands because she did her work, but I'll keep it aside with me. When you made appointment with me to redecorate the house the way you want. However you still have to pay the remaining three thousands afterwards."

All three of them shakes their head mocking at her, "two thousands because of Berta's incompetent."

Regina nodded, "Agreed. So, it's a deal?"

"Yes, we'll call you to make an appointment," all three of them looked at Berta, "You better not come to our house without your wife or I'll be calling the cops on you."

Berta smirked, "I can come around this neighbor whatever I want!"

Regina showed them out of the door, "I apologize for Berta. She's very new to this, but she's hard worker. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly and she'll never bother you again."

Regina pointed at Berta, "you …"

Berta curses with fit, "I'm sorry … I was just trying to help."

Regina with her arms on waist regal conjuring the leather paddle, "What did I tell you?"

Berta eyes wide backing away, "I'm sorry. You were at work this week and I didn't want to bother you about my plans. I can do whatever I want."

Regina eyes wide laughing, "Whatever you want, you sure about that?"

Berta shrugged then decided challenge her, "well … I'm a grown woman, Your Majesty!"

Regina was surprised walking closer to Berta looking up and down, "You are certainly a grown woman, but you're trouble, so no you cannot do whatever you want. Next time you call me something as you are required to inform me of anything. You have different definition of helping people."

Regina quickly grabbed her and bend her over to spank her 10 times while Berta fought and kept apologizing while blubbering as the pain increases. Berta rubs her bullocks trying to relive the pain. Regina stood up, "What did I tell you to do?"

Berta sighs sadly, "Leave neighbors alone. Do not meddle with them and always inform you."

Regina forcedly turns Berta around to spank her last time then she hollering moving herself away, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty! Please no more!"

Regina pushed her onto the couch violently as she rolled her eyes while she made black leather paddle disappear from her hands. As Berta got up, but Regina turns, "Stay! You are not permitted to get up or move from that couch. You are not permitted to speak."

Berta crossed her arms as she sat back down.

Regina put her hands on her waist in regal tone, "How many times do I have …," Regina changed her mind as she waved her disappointed, "forget it."

Regina walked upstairs but thought of something for Berta to do then came down, wavering her over, "Come on, Berta, to my office."

Berta followed Regina into her office then told her to sit down front of the desk. Regina grabbed two piece of paper then grabbed the pen while putting 2 papers before her then magically made the pen to be connected from paper to arm of her skin, so it'll make it seem like she's knifing on her arm, but not too badly as it disappeared from her skin when she's finish.

Regina sat on the other side of the desk, "I want you to write 10 times each on three what you supposed to do and the 4 rules of your outburst. You seem still cannot control your anger," pointing at those two papers, "so write 10 times of each."

Berta took the pen out of her hands, "10 times of those 4 rules of outburst on one page and the other page 10 times of three I'm supposed to do?"

Regina smiling nodding getting up to leave her alone, "After you're completed, you're not allowed to get up."

As she started to write then Regina turns before closing the door, "oh Berta … no crying."

Berta swallowed her throat and obeyed, "Yes Your Majesty."

Regina decided to watch old classics movie, Casablanca, talks about the story of lovers who been ripped apart by WWII and reunited in a far flung Moroccan piano bar of all places in the world. Regina likes to watch old classics movie compare to modern and Disney movies. Regina only ate left over salad then returned to finish the movie. Regina left her alone in the office while she read a book closeby listening, but doesn't hear anything then she smiled proudly. It is almost pass dinner, so she decided check on her, but saw she still haven't finish and noticed she's biting on wood from plant that was in the corner. She must be taking it slowly and pausing between.

Regina decided to go downstairs to start cooking Chicken Pot Pie that are crustless and gluten free without pie in crockpot and put it medium heat. She begin to worry after another hour gone by so she went back upstairs to check again quietly then started to feel bad, so she walked in, "I'm sorry Berta for being too hard on you."

Berta still biting her wood then looked up fighting back her tears as she stopped. Regina put down her pen and picked her up then Berta started crying on her shoulders, "I'm sorry. My arms hurts so bad."

Regina took her arms as her nails lightly massage her arms up and down, not sure what to ask, "Why did you …?"

Berta sniffing between tears, "I wanted to prove that I can do this without you. I wanted to make you proud that I started small business as a decorator."

Regina listened as she smiled at her, "I am proud of you. I never needed you to prove to be someone you're not. You may be trouble and try to help them in your own way, but you're my goof. It is ok to ask me and tell me things because in this town we're together. You cannot handle business all on of your own yet since you never had any experience. I can help to give you pointers and give you in the right direction then you will be able to do on your own."

Berta nodded wanted prove herself for her, "ok. I'm sorry. I really want to improve and to be better …"

Regina asked, "If someone is angry with you, what do you do?"

Berta frowned, "I try calm myself first then try find another solution or make a compromise."

Regina proudly smiles, "Right, and if nothing else worked?"

Berta pointed at her, "I call you that all three of us can discuss a plan and solution."

Regina hugs her tightly then kissed her forehead, "Good girl. Now why do you not meddle in their lives?"

Berta shrugged, "I just wanted be part of their lives and help them."

Regina shakes her head, "I know you do and it's sweet of you but becoming involved can cause a lot of resentment and it may push that person to make wrong decision then they will blame you. It is always best to stay out of their business. You cannot always do it in your way. All you can do it give them options then let them decide for themselves. If they talk about another person, then say I do not know that person so I cannot answer. Most important is do not meddle in romance."

Berta sharply inhaled remembering that awful puncture, "Yes Your Majesty."

Regina snarls at her with finger, "If I ever hear another argument and your outbursting in this community and believe me it won't end well for you. Is that understood?!"

Berta eyes wide shaking her head still can feel her arms stinging, "I won't disappoint you, Your Majesty. I'll do better, I promise."

Regina smiled softly, "Alright. Go wash your face and then come downstairs. I made us dinner."

Regina and Berta ate quietly then cuddled together to watch movie until it was late. After they got under the covers with their pajamas. Regina started kissing her smiling. Once, twice and so many times that she tasted Berta's lips realizing that she'll never have enough. Regina is everywhere on her back and lightly quips her ass and suddenly she's kissing her harder, deeper with fervent urgent need.
