Chapter 21: Wraith of the Gods Pt 2
Sora and the others rest up in Athens while Hercules and Athena go off to seek help with Sora, Kairi and Riku waiting for them in their rooms.
Sora, Kairi and Riku are in the lobby checking out some of the statues inside. "Wow this is the nude statue of Athena, it's so cool," Kairi is excited about this.
"Wish you be nude like that," Sora said as Kairi nudges her elbow into his chest.
"Hold on, all who wait will be greatly rewarded for patience," Kairi's tone is so velvet and soft making him quite red with her beautiful voice.
"Look at this," Riku sights a mural on a wall with images of Zeus and the original Olympians fighting the Titans so long ago.
"This was a fierce battle from what I researched, truly terrible conflict," Kairi said.
"Riku, do you know more about this Ragnarök and where the Keystones are important to get it?" Sora asked.
"Well Ragnarök was an Esper who has gone bad and went on a rampage within the Age of Creation. It was stronger than any Esper before it and manage to put fear into the others, only the Goddess Cosmo manage to use her light to defeat it and seal it away. Seven Keystones formed to maintain the seal or they have the strength to break it," Riku said.
"So, after we are done with the towers and keyholes, we can help look for these Keystones," Kairi said.
"Yep and you are quite close," Riku said as Herc and Athena arrive at the lobby.
"Good you're here, one of my scouts has reported seeing Hera within an ancient temple on an island off the coast of Athens but the only way to reach there is through an old underground path which is like a maze," Athena said.
"Be on your toes, Hera has aid of two more gods Helios and Aphrodite," Herc said as Athena turns into an owl flying up ahead for the four to walk their way to the underground labyrinth.
Kairi and the others manage to find the entrance to the underground passage. "Finally. One step closer," Kairi said as they slowly enter the vast cavern to wander through the dim and damp rocky corridors.
"I can't believe Hera would do this," Herc said.
"Yes, she was always the vindictive type of woman. Also, these creatures were sighted coming out of the Underworld which means she team up with Hades who wanted Zeus dead for some time," Athena said as they see two separate paths.
"Okay, Kairi and Sora go left. Herc and I go right," Riku said as they split up with Kairi and Sora going through the maze like caverns alone with blue crystals hanging from the ceiling.
"These crystals look pretty," Kairi can feel his hand grab hers own making her feel warmth in her chest.
"Nothing near as pretty as your eyes," Sora said with Kairi's heart fluttering from his sweet comment.
"You can be such a sweetheart," Kairi happily grabs his arm with Sora showing a sly smile.
"I know," Sora guides his hands onto Kairi's hips and stops her in her track for him to kiss her on the lips.
Kairi is shocked to back away from him. "Sora where did that come from?" she questioned.
"I want you Kairi, really bad. I want to grope your ass so much," Sora said with his tone suddenly filled with lust.
"Honey I really like fooling around with you but we have to stay focus," Kairi said with Sora leering at her shapely hourglass frame as certain parts bounce with Kairi changing her posture.
"With a body like that, how can I help myself," Sora said with Kairi blushing with her meekly moving a strand of her red hair.
"How sweet but if you want after we get the Keystone. We'll share some time together and enjoy each other 'company'," Kairi teased with her bright smile as Sora was turned on by her sweet nature.
"You're so cute like that, I want you right now," Sora said drawing towards her breasts but Kairi stops him sensing something is wrong.
"Sora, are you okay?" Kairi looks into his eyes for his pretty blue eyes were dulled suggesting he is in a trance. "Sora, what happened to you?" Kairi is worried about him as a soft laugh appears behind her and she feels a hand on her butt firmly grabbing it making her flinch.
"Such a curvy bottom you have, no wonder he begged for a taste of your curves," the goddess taken a liking to Kairi's plump behind with her pulling out with Keyblade.
"What did you do to him?" she demanded.
"I put a spell on him which awaken his deep sexual cravings, trust me. Get him in bed with you and you'll not feel your legs for weeks," Aphrodite said as she puts fingers on his cheek making Kairi quite angry at her. "He's so cute, he can be my personal harem," she taunted.
"I will not let that happened, give him back now," Kairi's voice normally soft is very intense.
"Oh, come on, you ever heard of sharing honey," Aphrodite said.
"I don't want to share. He's my boyfriend and he means the world to me," Kairi said.
"Gee, you're so conservative. He's your lover; you should share the sexual experiences in many ways then just you two. You, him and I will have a grand good time, what do you say?" Aphrodite gives her an olive branch with the redheaded Keybearer shooting a fireball blasting it into the goddess's face.
"You and I have completely different ideas about romance. He's not just boyfriend, he's also my best friend and my partner. Sex shouldn't be meaningless trash like you partake. It's special and something to cherish when you are with someone deeply close within your heart," Kairi's voice sounded so powerful as the goddess can feel the connection between her and Sora.
"Your lover is your friend too, what a crazy idea," Aphrodite insulted her. "If you want him back, kill me in a fight and then my spell will break hold over your lover/best friend if you can kill me filthy mortal," the goddess's voice is filled with arrogance as she snaps her fingers to make Sora disappear leaving the women alone.
"Sora, I'm coming for you," Kairi wields her Destiny's Embrace Keyblade preparing to fight the deity. The deity is surging with magical energy as soon darkness overtakes her body giving her a revealing organic body armor.
"For killing my lover Ares, I'm going to enjoy making you beg for my mercy," Aphrodite wields telekinesis to grab large rocks off the walls and fling them towards Kairi. Kairi dodges through the projectiles and casts several Fira homing in on the goddess.
The Olympian simply dodges with ease to rushes at Kairi with superhuman speed. She scores several hits and blasting her with an energy beam knocking Kairi away. "Is that the best you can mortal?" she mocked.
"No, Balloonga," Kairi casts multiple huge water balloons launching them at the goddess. Aphrodite has a cocky smile to simply blast them apart. She was surprised when the big balloons split into tons of small water orbs striking the goddess repeatedly hammering away at her body making her flinch backwards.
Kairi moves in and slashes her a few times then storing energy into her blade hitting it into the ground releasing a big pillar of light to shroud Aphrodite making her groan in pain.
"Not bad, can you handle this," she surrounds herself with orbs of energy and whips them around the massive cavern turning them into twisters. Kairi tries to use an energy barrier but the attacks scatter through her defenses catching her in its fierce fury.
The energy twister causing her great pain with it burst violently hurling her hundreds of feet away. Kairi regains her balance and launch a barrage of Prism Rain letting loose over 50 beams of rainbow beams at Aphrodite.
The Goddess brings up an energy barrier blocking the incoming magical detonations as Kairi fires a more powerful precise shot able to punch through the goddess's barrier. Kairi runs forward evading magical attacks from Aphrodite and sends swift strikes chaining Zero Graviga after her last attack.
She encases the deity into a sphere of gravity energy with Kairi casting down Thundaga zapping her with several thunderbolts. Aphrodite lets out a wave of energy breaking her prison and firing dark concussive beams slamming into Kairi's body feeling like hammers knocking the wind out of her.
"At this rate, your boyfriend will be my and you'll be alone. Like you are right now," Aphrodite mocks her for she casts a spell trying to seduce her. "Like him, you'll become sex slave forever to please me at my whims," Aphrodite's spell is working making Kairi getting turn on by the sight of the goddess's curvaceous figure.
"No, I'm not into women. Get out of my head," Kairi is using her willpower trying to break her hold over her. Aphrodite walks up to her with sexy yet devilish smile with Kairi desperately trying to break her control.
"I'm the most beautiful woman anywhere, no man or woman can resist me willingly or by force through seductive methods. Resistance is futile mortal," Aphrodite said as she sees Kairi's willpower slowly draining away with the goddess pleased at this.
"No, I'm slipping away. I can't Sora is counting on me, I can't betray him," Kairi's heart starts to glow warm with the memoires of her Sora throughout the years piling up in her mind flooding her very being overwhelming her senses.
Then a powerful memory appears in her head and suddenly she breaks through Aphrodite's seductive spell which made the powerful goddess in a long time be afraid of a mortal.
"No, that's impossible. No one not even the Olympian gods can break through my spell, you're just a mortal," Aphrodite is beyond surprised and even terror flooding into her face. She sees Kairi's body is glowing with power for her hair goes blond and energy wings coming out of her back.
"Romance is more than just sex and lust. Sora isn't just my lover; he's my best friend who can make me laugh and comfort me when I'm sad and as a battle partner I can count on with my life. He and I share a deep bond that cannot be easily broken, he means the world to me and I will bring him back with your death as a payment for his return," Kairi said with her body empowered by her heart and inner light.
Aphrodite is afraid of this small woman with a key in hand. "Pitiful words, you are an ant to me," the deity charges up her attack with Kairi preparing for her final move.
"I hope this work; I only practice this a few times before," Kairi charge up her blade with the Goddess ready to open fire with her attack.
"Die, you worm," Aphrodite unleashing a massive beam of darkness rushing towards Kairi.
"Siphon Sphere," Kairi casts an energy barrier to take the hit from the attack while draining its power into her last spell. She struggles to keep the barrier up with the beam pounding against it but finally takes in all of it transferring it into her Keyblade. "This is the end for you, Holy," Kairi shoots a massively potent light orb aiming right for Aphrodite.
"This can't be happening," she fires several beams of darkness to stop the large spell but nothing slows it down until its strikes the deity destroying her with a blast powerful enough to make the entire massive cavern and everything around it tremble under its power.
Aphrodite screams with her body engulfed with pain. The furious blast destroy parts of her body like her arms, legs and half her face were blown completely off with blood and bone scattered everywhere.
"No, this is unspeakable. How can an ugly bitch like you defeat a beautiful flower like me," Aphrodite crawls to the pool of water. Kairi's body giving in from the strain of the energy she had to store from the goddess's last attack reverting to normal.
"You know beauty is more than just good looks and sex appeal. It's about character and strength of heart. No matter how beautiful you get in the outside but you are rotten in the inside making your beauty completely null and void," Kairi said with the goddess staring at the water seeing her terrible reflection as she witnesses her once beautiful face broken into a charred misshapen mess.
"You bitch, you ruined me," Aphrodite's body explodes with energy with her vanishing from existence. Sora pops out of a portal with Kairi catching him with her magic gently sitting him down seeing he's out of her trance.
"Sora, you okay," Kairi barely hugs him due to her sheer exhaustion.
"Thanks, Kairi. I knew you were there for me when the chips are down. I was watching the whole thing from where I was. Tell me how you broke through her spell?" he asked with her face redden like a tomato.
"It was the memory when I first told you about my romantic feelings and our first kiss that took place moments after. It's a memory I'll never forgot," she softly hugs him.
"Thanks, Kairi, you're the best," Sora praised her as they head off but Kairi stumbles around. "You okay, are you hurt?" Sora asked with concern to helps her up.
"I used up a lot of energy, my legs feel so weak now," Kairi said as Sora lies her down on the ground with him sitting beside her.
"Let's rest for a bit and then we move forward," Sora stretch his arm around her shoulders and her head resting on his shoulder.
"Yeah I like that," Kairi cuddles with him on the floor.
Back with Riku and Hercules going towards the end of the tunnel, Heartless are appearing in mass with Herc inflicting powerful sword strokes taking down the monsters. Herc tackles through a horde of Heartless and pounds his fist into a Large Body instantly killing it.
"Finally, we made it here." Herc and Riku forward but is stop by a powerful light blinding them as a being rushes in knocking them away.
"Helios, get out of our way," Herc urges with the tall Titan clad head to toe with golden armor and his eyes as bright as the sun itself.
"I can't do that Hercules; you and your friends will ruin our plans. Your Father Zeus rules ends once we take care of his champion," Helios gathers light energy into his palms tossing orbs of light onto the ground summoning pillars of energy to rocket across the massive cavern.
Riku rolls out of the way to shooting dark orbs at the Titan pounding at the deity didn't do anything. Helios generating a sphere of light surrounds him and letting it burst violently knocking them both down.
Hercules stomps his feet into the ground holding himself down and catching Riku in his arm. "Hercules, lend me a hand," Riku holds onto Herc for him to spin him around to release him towards the Titan.
"Die, you rat," Helios fires beams of solar energy with Riku deflecting them with a swing of his blade. Riku slams his Keyblade into the Titan dishing out damage and then firing point blank a Flare causing a massive explosion.
The spell stuns Helios with Herc going in and punches Helios's armored chest for him to kick him hard sending him across the cavern.
"Pitiful mortals, prepare to suffer the power of the Sun," Helios gathers light energy into his fist and smashes them in the ground unleashing a severe shockwave rapidly cover the caverns for Riku and Herc to take a big hit.
Helios rushes in and knees Riku in the head launching him against a pillar. He goes to Hercules aiming a kick to in the head but the demigod blocks countering by scoring a hit on the head knocking his helmet off exposing his battle worn face.
"Don't underestimate us Helios," Herc grabs Riku and throws him like a spear with the Riku spinning like a drill grinding away on his armor.
"Stun Impact," Riku charges up energy into his Keyblade and dives his blade into the ground releasing a sphere of red energy to push Helios back with Hercules tackles the Titan.
Helios grapples with the son of Zeus with Herc gaining ground with Helios backing away and leashes out hits on Herc with solar powered fists.
"Likewise," he grips his head slamming him into a wall making Hercules bleed and giving him a blast of light energy causing him great pain.
Riku tries to help but Helios is firing energy blasts to hold him off and tossing Herc into Riku knocking them both down. "Hercules doesn't hold anything back, Gravity Field," Riku creates a vast gravity field which Helios can't escape.
"Damn it, I can't move an inch," Helios uses all his might to walk but the high gravity is too much even for a Titan to handle while Riku and Hercules are unharmed by the spell.
Riku creates a twister with a Flare merging with the tornado merging to make a powerful fiery twister engulfing the Titan letting it set off generating a large blast zone upsetting the cavern itself. Helios takes the full force of the explosion with his armor blown off his body and his lower half severed from his torso.
"Impossible, how can fools defeat the Titan of the Sun," Helios gets stabs by Hercules ending his life.
"Your arrogance was the death of you Helios," Herc twist his neck to end his life for Helios bursts into a pillar of energy to vanish from sight.
"Well that turned out smoother than I thought," Riku can see Kairi and Sora reach them in time. "Thank goodness, you made it. Gotten into any trouble?" he asked.
"We got cornered by Aphrodite but Kairi was a pro and knock the goddess off her high horse," Sora said with Kairi blushing from his sweet praise.
"It was nothing, I was trying to save you from her greedy hands," Kairi said as they are at the door that leads them into the island fortress of Hera.
"This is it, let's get that Keystone and stop Hera," Riku leads them inside to confront the Queen for she watches from afar safely in her chambers.
"Pathetic, three deities and can't stop three mortals and two of Zeus's favorite bastard children. I'll have to take matters into my own hands," Hera thought with the five getting closer to her chambers to see a large dark tower behind her pulsing with evil powers.
The five manage to enter the inner workings of Hera's lair with Athena right beside them. "Stepmother, it's time to end this madness right here and now," Herc calls her out with the goddess angry at the five summoning a blast of energy to blow them away.
"You killed my worthless son, the God of War; a Titan of the sun and an Olympian but now you will face the queen and the next future ruler of Olympia," Hera proclaimed with her body engulf with pulsing with dark energy.
"Hera, your plot ends here," Athena said with the five readying their weapons. Hera summons a sphere of energy floating in the air as she fires beams at the ground.
"Come my personal guards, protect your queen from these fools," Hera ordered as the beams transform into vicious Satyrs wielding sword staffs. The half goat, half man beings soon get infused by Heartless turning them more powerful and deadlier than ever.
The goat men assault the group engaging them in harsh close quarter combat with Sora blocking strikes from a Satyr roaring at him spraying it breath. "Damn it, smell like a rat's ass," Sora gets kicks in the face with the goat man leaping towards him aiming his blade at his head.
The Satyr spits blobs of darkness out of their mouths with Sora rolling out of the way. Kairi fires several Pearl orbs hitting the beast while stunning it in place with Sora delivering a few slashes and an upper slash to the chest making it bleed.
Riku shoots a Firaga into it causing an explosion vaporizing it as Kairi gets grabbed by the throat by a goat monster. It tosses her to the side and thrust its blade towards her as Kairi creates a barrier blocking its attack.
"Zero Graviga," Kairi casts a wave of energy to make the beast trap in a gravity sphere and then uses Thundara to zap it to oblivion for them both to see Hera coming towards them.
"Guys, we'll deal with the beasts, you deal with Hera," Athena stabs one with a spear with the two Keyblade wielders going to engage the Goddess.
"Two mortals to stand against me, pitiful," Hera fires rays of energy at the two as Kairi uses Reflega bouncing the attacks back with Hera evading them. She traps them in energy spheres and lobs them into a marble pillars then making them explode inflicting damage.
Sora flashes blue for him to be infused with Leviathan blasting several Blizzaga hitting the goddess with large ice shards freezing parts of her body.
Kairi enters her Divine State as she casts Zero Graviga lifting Hera in the air with her firing a ray of prism beams cutting through her body shedding blood.
"Damn it," Hera surges with power and breaks through the gravity sphere. She uses her magic to lift broken pillars and toss them at the duo.
"Magnega," Sora casts a sphere of energy to catch the flying debris and send them back. Hera morphs her arms into large spikes destroying them in her path.
Hera using her godlike speed to shoves into Sora launching him into a wall and delivering lightning fast stabbings. The goddess turns her left arm into a blunt weapon and bashes Sora through the marble wall landing outside on the grass.
"Sora," Kairi goes to aid him but Hera stops her with a swift blow to the head rocketing her across the floor.
"Not so fast little lady," Hera locks her into the ground with magic to start pounding her large blunt arms into her body leaving her spitting blood on the floor. "Time to crush that pretty little head of yours," Hera said.
"Denied," Sora fires a beam to blow off her arm with blood exploding onto the ground with Sora's wand glowing hot.
Kairi braces the pain to uses magnetic forces to lift the wounded goddess in the air and then leash her against the hard marble walls nearly breaking her back.
Sora goes up to Kairi casting Curaga to fully restore her back to normal. "You got my back, I got yours," Sora said.
"Like always," Kairi and Sora can see the Goddess is still standing despite her grave injuries.
"I'm the Queen of Olympus and I will not submit to mortals," she twists the flesh around her severed arm slot to morph it into a fleshy blade.
She swings her blood dripped organic blade unleashing a powerful shockwave to blow them both away. She explosively jumps at them with both Kairi and Sora forming an energy barrier.
"Prepare to submit to me," Hera's body is exploding with vast amounts of dark energy teleporting around dashing through both Keyblade wielders with sheer speed. Hera appears above them to stab her blade into the floor releasing violent eruption of energy overwhelming them.
Hera can see they are stunned for her to stab the organic blade into Kairi's shoulder following it up with several energy blasts heavily wreaking her body. "Leave her alone," Sora shoots icy spikes with them impaling into her back blood leaking from her wounds.
"Try boy," Hera stretches her blade arm and sends it towards Sora.
"Glacier," a big ice spike leaps out of the ground cutting off her organic blade as blood violently bursts out of her limb.
Sora magically lifts the blade arm and lobs it at Hera. Hera tries to get away but Kairi casts Bind to hold her in place taking the full force of the blade launches her into a wall through her midsection.
"No, no mortal can have such power," Hera takes out the blade and knells in her own pool of blood.
"Give up, your too weak to fight back," Sora demanded as Hera laughs at this.
"Yes, I didn't expect this but mark my words. I will return to this world and everything will be my," Hera warps herself out of there to leave behind the Keystone they were searching for.
Kairi casts Curaga on her body healing it back to full health. She grabs the stone and giving Sora a big hug, "We did it Sora," Kairi said for they revert to normal as she destroys the dark pillar and Sora locks the keyhole nearby.
"Yeah, we did," Sora said as the goat men vanish from sight with their master gone from their presence for they meet back up outside.
"Man, I'm quite proud of you guys. You two hold your own out there," Riku said with pride for the Athena is quite disappointed by this.
"Well at least Hera is stopped and you have what you were looking for," Athena said as Hercules shakes the Keybearers' hands in thanks.
"Thanks for helping with my stepmother but she'll come back for me," Herc said.
Athena goes towards Kairi placing a hand on her shoulder. "Kairi, I saw how you handle yourself against Aphrodite. You are really look like a younger me," the goddess praised her as Kairi blushes at the wise woman's words.
"It's nothing, I was fighting to protect someone I deeply care about," Kairi said sheepishly.
"I see you were defending your lover. He must very special if you can break though her seductive spell," Athena said. "Hope I been seeing you again Kairi," she rubs her hand through Kairi's hair.
"Likewise," Kairi said as they all go back into their Gummi Ships with them getting hold of a Keystone with one dark tower left for Kairi and Sora to complete their task.
Elsewhere Hera appears in the Underworld where she meets Hades as she heals her deformed arm. "What can I tell you Hera, your plans went up in smoke as expected," Hades mocked.
"Oh, shut up Hades, I will take revenge of Zeus and kill Hercules and Athena," Hera's heart bleeds with hatred for them.
"Well, my dear we need to take our time. Many of the gods don't like Zeus's management and they will come to our side in time," Hades disappears with Hera waiting for her revenge against her enemies soon enough.
