In A Name

Elsa and Jack

Part 1

Elsa ran out of there as fast as she could.

She couldn't believe he would do this. To her and her sister.

Oh boy, he was SO going to get it.

"Omf. Hay watch- Elsa. What's up with you?"

Of all people Elsa never thought she'd run into HIM. "Jackson Frost."

"Don't say my name like that." He said.

"ELSA SNOW!" Behind Elsa a voice yelled.

"Okay." Jack said slowly. Holding out his hand, "Grab on. If you want out quick." He said to her.

Elsa rolled her eyes with a sigh and took Jack's hand. Up he went with her holding on.

Elsa was used to his flying trips.

"Elsa! Where did you go?!"

Jack saw who it was. "Now, tell me why the Snow Queen is making a mess with a so-called "villain" of the school?" He asked.

Elsa looked back down, Hans was yelling up a storm.

"Turns out...he's been playing Anna AND me." She admitted.

Once Jack found a good place to settle down, he asked the real questions. "Alright. Tell me exactly what happened." He said crossing his arms.

Elsa sighed and sat down. "It was a while ago. I was going to school like any other day,"

"Hey Elsa. Want to come to my house later?"

"Sorry Merida. I'm going to surprise Hans later."

"Then, it was everything normal. My sister was off doing her soccer game that evening. So I knew where she was. But when I got to Hans's place after school...OOOOO I got so angry!" Elsa shouted.

"Hans. I have a surprise for..."

"What?"

"Elsa!"

"You...you played me? You played ME?! THE SNOW QUEEN?!"

"Wait. Back up. Who was the other woman?"

"Rapunzel. And she had red hair. And before you say anything, I knew it was Anna's hair from when the three of us went to the solan and she "supposed" to have donated her hair. Guess Hans had other ideas and Rapunzel was part of THAT!" Elsa was getting angry again.

"Okay. Calm down. Take a breath." Jack told her.

Elsa took many deep breath before calming down. "Sorry. I still can't believe that it happened." Elsa said.

Jack saw she was holding back a lot of more deeper feelings. But at the same time... "Did you suspect him of..."

"Sort of. I have seen him looking over at me and noticing how he looked at Anna. He's even asked for my permission to take her out on a date as a fun thing. And Anna comes back all happy like and she gives me every detail." Elsa explained.

"Sounds like this wasn't what you'd expect at all from Hans." Jack said.

"So is that when you stormed out?" He asked.

"No." Elsa said.

"Now hold on Elsa. Look, I'm not doing anything bad here. I'm trying to be a respectable man here for your sister."

"Forget it Hans! You think I'm believing this?! You wouldn't KISS ME one inch! An you've got you whole tongue down HER throat!"

"Hey! It's not his fault you can't get all romantic or lovey-dovey like with him."

"Shut up Rapunzel! I am mad at you too! You'd do this to Anna? Your best friend?!"

"Wow! Okay. That hurts." Jack said.

"I know. And I feel so bad about Anna finding all this out. I almost don't want to tell her at all." Elsa said.

"Well, your going to have to. Or you could just say..."Hans and I are over. I caught him cheating with another girl." She won't need to know it was Rapunzel. Let HER tell Anna the truth if she's that best of a "friend" as you might put it." Jack said.

Elsa nodded. "I might just do that." Elsa finally smiled.

"And so you stormed off then?"

"Well..."

"I HATE YOU AND I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL! Just not with Hades. Or maybe so since he and I are cool friends and all."

"ELSA SNOW! WE ARE NOT DONE HERE! COME BACK YOUNG LADY!"

"And...that's when I stormed off. After I blasted his hair." Elsa finished.

Jack laughed hard. "Oh man. I've wanted to do that for so long...you go Snowball." Jack laughed more.

"Don't call me that." Elsa snapped.

"It's a cool name. Haha. Alright. I'll stop." Jack said calming down.

"Thank you. Now, can we go and find Anna?" Elsa asked.

Jack nodded and lifted up off the ground taking off to the sky.

Elsa didn't mind the flying. She and Aladdin hung out a lot. Same with Ariel. The three of them were like the best back in middle. Then they both go boy/girl friends and Elsa found a different crowd. Thought, Anna, Rapunzel, and Merida wasn't the best of times. Jack alone was more of comfort. But only because he was a guardian.

"Thanks for listening Jack. And for the lift." Elsa said.

"Of course. Look, we are friends. You've been around the guardians hall for many times with an issue. I'd say this is a step up. Friend." He said teasingly and with a grin.

Elsa's been flown around with Jack as his...payment. For helping her. Mostly cause all her wants from her is to smile or laugh about the whole thing. But this one wasn't a laughing or smiling matter.

There, Anna arrived home as Jack and Elsa landed.

"Oh! Elsa. Your with Jack again? What happened? Did you fail a pop quiz? Or was it a pop TEST?" Anna asked in fear.

"No. Actually, Anna, it's about Hans." Elsa said sadly.

Jack stayed back as Elsa explained to Anna what happened. Leaving out the part with Rapunzel being the other girl.

Anna and Elsa loved each other and Elsa wasn't going to ruin Anna's life with that. But then again, it could bit her back in the butt. And Elsa will be biting off his head for the idea.

"What?!" Anna yelled. "Yes Anna. I know." Jack began walking away knowing how this was going. And Elsa cried in Anna's arms as he left.

"I don't know how this could have happened to me? Anna, I'm so SO sorry." Elsa said with tears pouring out.

"There there, sis. We'll get this whole thing cleared up." Anna said.

Part 2

Elsa and Anna glared at Hans everyday after what he'd done.

Merida was even sick over the fact.

Jack watched from afar. Hans was hanging around all the other girls. Mostly Cinderella's step sisters. But nothing romantic and all that.

Rapunzel went around with Anna like nothing was wrong. She and Elsa never spoke words to each other.

Anna seems to see that somethings up, but hasn't gotten to chance or courage to ask.

"Hello Snowball." Jack says teasingly.

"Hay there, Frosty." Elsa turns to grin at him.

"Ha ha. I'm not a snowman." Jack says.

"Really? Then what's with all the kids chanting your name, Guardian?" Elsa teased a little more before heading to class.

"Hey Jack." Jack's friends Hiccup and Astrid came to see him. "Hey guys."

"What's wrong this time?" Hiccup asked.

"It's nothing." Jack said.

"Really? Nothing to do with, Hans and Elsa's break up? I mean who knew the guy would cheat? And over Elsa of all girls." Astrid said.

"Yeah. I'd kill myself if the thought came to mind." Hiccup said.

"Someone's got a crush on the Snow Queen." Astrid teased.

"Come on!" Hiccup complained.

"It's fine man."

"You and Elsa are more closer then anyone in the school. And that's a LOT of students and teachers. Even those in a relationship." Astrid said.

"It doesn't mean I LIKE Elsa like Hiccup's crush." Jack corrected.

"Look Jack, you know something like Elsa. She knows who this other girl is but isn't saying. We've had the idea for awhile now. And your the one she's been talking to about this. Your like her therapist." Astrid said.

"Look. It's not my secret to say. It's either Elsa's or it's the girl's who did this to her and Anna." Jack said and headed to class.

Class wasn't that big of a deal to him.

But everyone talking about Hans and Elsa was driving him up a wall.

He had to leave the classroom to study properly. He may not look it, but he's a smart grade A student.

"Hello Jack." Spoke a voice.

Jack turned and saw Rapunzel.

"Hello."

"Mind if we...talk?" She asked.

As a guardian Jack can't refuse. "Officially?"

"If that's more privet." She said.

Jack nodded and lead the way. "North! I have an unexpected one. It won't talk long." Jack shouted and closed his door.

"Speak." He said turning to face her.

Rapunzel was close, too close for Jack's comfort. "Look about Elsa. I'm not sure what's she's said and all-"

"I'm going to stop you there. I don't care about what;s going on with you, Elsa, or even Hans. What I care about is Anna."

"Anna?"

"Yes. You haven't spoken to her. While Elsa is also a concern for me about you, it's all about Anna either way. Elsa hasn't sold you out because she loves her sister. If your Anna's best friend you should be the one to tell her."

"What? Jack. Your joke-"

"Does it look like it? NO! Now, if it's not a REAL matter, I suggest you go. And if you really want to be friends with Anna still, I strongly say this, tell her, before Elsa might. Or someone ELSE catches you." Jack said.

Rapunzel scoffed then walked out.

"Jack. What was that?" Bunny asked seeing Rapunzel walking away. "Nothing I couldn't handle. Who's here today?"

"No one. You need to study anyway. Just have the day off." Bunny said.

Jack nodded and studied in the quiet of his office at the school.

The bell rang for the last time of the day and he got to head home.

Jack headed out the school door when...

"Jack! You need to get here NOW!" It was Astrid.

"What's go-"

"It's Hiccup. Hans is beating him." Astrid said.

Jack ran as soon as Hiccup's name was said. Sure he got into trouble but this was WAY out of it.

He found Hiccup on the floor and Hans standing over him.

"I know it's girl in this school." Hiccup coughed. "So, just tell everyone who she is already. You CHEAT-"

Hans kicked Hiccup before he finished.

"HAY!" Jack stood between Hans and Hiccup.

"I got you." Astrid ran to Hiccup's side.

Anna and Rapunzel arrived behind Hans, and Elsa the left of Jack. "Hans! What have you done?!" Elsa yelled.

"Why me? It's that BRAT'S fault." Hans pointed.

"Oh no! All this over a girl? Jezz." Anna said.

Jack saw Rapunzel's face looking at Hiccup on the floor.

"That's enough Hans." Jack said.

"Oh. Now YOUR telling me what to do?!" Hans yelled.

Jack was ready for a fight. But that's not what happened. As Hans went in for the punch, Elsa jumped in front and Anna grabbed Hans arm, pulling him down.

"Elsa!"

"You little-"

"STOP!" Rapunzel screamed at the top of her lungs.

Everyone looked to her. Tears in her eyes. "I'm the girl. I'm the one Hans cheated with Elsa." She said it.

Everyone was shocked. But Rapunzel had the other kicker for it. "The truth to WHY, because HANS was trying to get involved with ANNA. But while dating Elsa he had a chance but couldn't get close enough. He asked me to wear a red with with her hair and...Ugh! He's a sick MAN!" Rapunzel yelled.

This was even worse.

Part 3

It was a week since Rapunzel's out burst. At least it put Hans away.

The sad part about it was...

"Anna. Please." Rapunzel was trying to explain herself, but Anna wasn't listening. Elsa stopped coming to school after two days of being harassed by every student in the school. Jack wasn't speaking to anyone about it. Except for Hiccup and Astrid.

And the two keep an eye on her for Jack since he's only offered her one thing. His office, for anything to talk. Or just to get away from everyone.

That's all. Anna hasn't talked to Jack yet but she's not mad at him.

"Jack. How are you?" Merida spoke to him.

"Merida. Still no Elsa."

"No. And Rapunzel still isn't getting Anna to talk. She's like not talking to anyone really. It's all a shock. Hans was dating Elsa to get to Anna, then used her best friend to dress up as her and...Man."

"I wish people would stop." Jack mumbled. "I'll be in my office." He said and headed on in.

Jack had asked for a few days off from class attendance since Elsa stopped and Anna wasn't really...open. As a guardian he got away with it. He still was given assignments and all. He did them and turned them in all in one day.

But today, he didn't have anything to do. Not till Anna came in. He knew she would come in. She's been talked to and she's never responded to anything they say. She's bound to come and-

"Jack." A knock and voice spoke.

"Come in." He spoke.

Anna, would you guess came through the door. "Anna Snow. What can I-"

"Can I just hide here? I don't want to go to history. Or the other classes that I have with...her." Anna said.

Jack knew it was Rapunzel. He nodded. "If you want to talk, or I could talk instead. I'm sure Elsa told you her side." Jack said.

Anna nodded. "Could you tell me yours? Please." Anna asked.

Jack smiled. "Sure I'll tell you, Anna."

Part 4

As Jack explained to Anna what was going on, she was quiet to listen. Sighing a lot. But she at least was listening and possibly believing everything Jack was telling her.

"I still can't believe this." She could now.

"I know. Rapunzel...she is your closest friend. And on top of it, one of the most popular girls in the school." Jack admitted.

"I feel so bad for Elsa though. And I feel stupid." Anna said.

"Don't be. The only reason Elsa wouldn't tell you is because your her sister and she loves you. You stood up for her a few times." Jack said.

Anna scoffed. "Too many to count is a few."

"Still, she didn't want you heart broken over what Rapunzel did or was doing." Jack said.

Anna nodded.

"Don't beat yourself up over it." Jack said.

"So, I guess with this out of the way, what are you going to do about Hans?" She asked.

Jack shrugged. "Nothing I can do." He said. "The others might could but it's going to take some time."

"Okay. Then what about Elsa?" Anna started to grin.

Jack didn't know Anna's idea, but he was beginning to see her plans. "I mean that's up to her." He told her.

"Okay. Then what about...the dance?" Anna asked.

Jack just started laughing. "The Dance?! Are you kidding? I'll be here working. That's it." He said plain and clearly.

"Just a question." Anna crossed her arms.

"If you think I'm asking Elsa to the dance, your wrong. Honestly, Elsa doesn't like the idea that I knew everything about her life. Secret or wide open book. Her and I aren't the people who get together because others say so on a reasonable level. If she wants too go out, it will be all natural." Jack told her.

Anna frowned. "Jack. A guy like you is exactly what Elsa needs. Someone who will listen to her and be by her side."

"That sounds more like you, Anna." Jack noted.

"This isn't about me anymore. It's about Elsa, and you having feelings for each other." Anna shouted.

"What?!"

"Come on. You just happen to be there when she's running from Hans place after all that? You stick around for her to tell me about Hans and lie about Rapunzel? Elsa's willing to tell someone, you of all, about everything that happened, and it's your idea that she doesn't tell me about Rapunzel." Anna said.

Jack shook his head. He and Elsa were nothing together. Sure he's admired her from afar, but to actually date her, was a little overwhelming.

"Look Jack. You don't think how you and Elsa would be a great couple? At all?" Anna asked.

Jack sighed. He felt like he was caught between a rock and a hard place. Both being Anna and Elsa. "Anna. I honestly don't know what to tell you."

Anna didn't say anything. The bell rang so she had to leave. "I better get going. Thank you for listening and talking to me about all this. Now I think it's time for you to talk o Elsa. About how you both feel." Anna said before leaving.

Was it really possible that Astrid was right? He and Elsa?

Jack left his office and walked around the school. He needed to clear his head.

"Hey Jack." Merida caught his attention.

"Merida."

"I'm heading to see Elsa. Everyone's been giving me cards and gifts for her. Figured I'd spend lunch time and take them to her. Try to get her to come to class again." Merida explained. "You want to send her something?" She asked.

Jack didn't know what to send. Or what he'd tell her. "That's fine. I'll bring it over myself." He told Merida.

"Alright. If you need me, let me know." She said and headed off to Elsa's.

Was there anything he could do for Elsa? Maybe.

"Hey Jack. What's up?" The voice was Hiccup's.

"Hey. Can you help me with something?" Jack asked. This might be a mistake, but if he's going to do this, he's going to need as much help as he can get. "Sure. What do you need man?" Hiccup asked and Jack begins explaining.

Elsa was at home laying in her bed. She just couldn't face everyone at school. It's still hard to face Anna every day.

"Knock knock!" Shouted a voice.

Elsa headed down knowing the voice. Merida was let in. "Hey. What's all this?" Elsa asked.

"This is all yours. Card and gifts from everyone at school. Everyone misses you. And hope you come home soon." Merida told her.

"And this?" Elsa asked holding up a white stuffed pony.

"Hiccup thought you might like it. He called it Winter for you." Merida giggled.

Elsa laughed. Winter? That's cute.

"Jack and Rapunzel haven't sent anything yet. Not that I'd let Rapunzel send you anything." Merida said. "But Jack said he might bring you something later." She added.

Elsa didn't know why he'd bother. But then again, he's been therefor her since she stormed off from Hans. He really was a guardian to her.

"Elsa?" Merida called her name. "Yes. Sorry. What else did everyon send?" She asked.

"Well, Moana found this, a unicorn card."

"Haha. She knows how much I love those."

"Astrid brought cookies."

"Ooo! And their dragon shaped. She's good with baking. She should be a chef." Elsa said.

"If only she'd believe that. And this is from Anna. Nearly missed her. She stayed in Jack's office for the fist half of the day. She was better at lunch." Merida reported.

Elsa smiled. She was happy Anna was talking to people and facing them. If Anna can do that, maybe she can to.

Part 5

After Merida left, Elsa had her some tea and lemon cake. While watching some "Animal Planet" TV.

Elsa didn't mind watching alone. She wasn't going to school yet. But then she got a text.

"Hey sis. I'm heading out with some friends. Hiro wants to take me on a ride with BayMax. And you know how Fred is. Don't worry, Astrid will be with me. I'll be home with dinner. And friends. -Anna."

Elsa responded back that it was alright and she'd see her later.

Elsa loved that Anna was being free today. And tomorrow would be her's. Or she hoped.

Then the doorbell rung.

Elsa got up and and opened to see, "Jack?"

"Hey. Hoping to give you this." He handed her a letter.

"Um..thanks. What's this for?" She asked.

"It's just for you to read. Everyone was sending you with something. Figured this would...be okay. Just call me when you feel like you need someone." He said and left. "Bye Elsa." And he was up in the air.

Elsa didn't understand. But she closed the door, sat back down and finished her episode before opening that letter.

"Dear Elsa.

I hope you are doing much better. And hope you are coming back to school soon because someone needs to be here for Anna if she's not talking to Rapunzel.

I also want to say this because Anna seems to be up to her tricky ideas again.

So, I'm saying it.

If you ever really need someone to talk, or cry on a shoulder, I'm here for you. I mean I do admire you. If that's the right word to say.

Look, just one date to get your sister off my back about this whole misunderstanding. I mean I don't want to hurt some people's feelings, you are popular after all.

Just come to my office whenever. Or not.

Only if you want to or if your okay with the idea of a date with old Frosty the guardian.

That sucks. Don't read that part. Or you might. Whatever.

Take care and I'll be seeing you. I hope.

Jack Frost."

Elsa was aw-strucked by reading the letter. She had to read it over so many rimes it was crazy.

Jack Frost was asking her out? Just to prove something to Anna? He doesn't feel happy because he knows others want her to date them?

"Well this is just something else." She said out loud.

But then again, with everything Jack's done for her, maybe this was a good thing. At least this way she can repay him and possibly get all these other guys off her back. She really can't be in another relationship.

"Elsa."

But the way jack said her name... "Jack." Saying it like that, it was the most oddest thing. It wasn't odd at all. Not like all the other times. But he normally called her Snowball and her Frosty to him.

So why all of a sudden... "Was he...was he really not expecting me to say yes?"

Something felt off. But all Elsa was really doing was smiling. This date might be a good thing for sure after all.

The End

Inspired by the song "Say My Name" by David Guetta with Bebe Rexha and J Balvin
