Nick's Perspective

After we walk out of the cave, I then climb on Melody's shoulder. She looks at me, and nods. We head back to the Sea Cottage, and suddenly I spot something amiss in the background. There appears to be a familiar hot-air balloon. I let Remited know, and we double our speed.

Misty's Perspective

I saw a balloon land next to the Sea Cottage, and bolt towards it. But, as I am nearing it, a hand covers my mouth, preventing me from speaking. I try to struggle, and realize my arms are pinned. Then, I hear a voice hiss in my left ear.
"You won't be stopping us from taking that machine."
Then, a hand plants a rag over my face and I black out.

Julie's POV

I have started back through Route 24 when I come across a badly wounded wild Venonat. It weakly says its cry, and I pick it up. It tries to struggle, but I start cradling it in my arms. This relaxes the Pokémon, and I then set it back down to pull out my portable Healer. I set it down on the ground, and pick back up the Venonat. I put it on the Healer, and push a button. Bright pink light shines around the Venonat, which closes its eyes. Then, the light fades away, and the Venonat gets up on its feet. It then rubs its body against my legs, and proceeds to walk off. I then laugh to myself, and head through Route 25. I see a Meowth shaped hot-air balloon in front of the Sea Cottage. I have a bad feeling about this.

Melody's POV

With Nick on my shoulder I ran to the Sea Cottage. I recognized that balloon all too well. I must be visibly worried about the fact that Team Rocket is here, as Remited gently squeezes my hand. I'm still not that used to my human body, but I push forward. As we are walking up the stairs to the front door, I hear Jessie's voice.

"Now that we have this machine, we could force that twerp to give us his Pokémon in exchange for being sent back into his own body."

James speaks next.

"Good work Meowth on your spying."

The Meowth laughs, and then I gulp in fear. I cannot use any of my moves, in fact I don't even have my Psychic powers anymore, so I wouldn't be able to fight them if they spotted us. Remited walks forward and opens the door. We walk forward and then I overhear James again.

"Let's go outside and see if we can spot the twerp and his friends."

"Agreed."

I hear their footsteps coming closer to us, and Remited quickly grabs my hand and pulls me behind a curtain. I cover my mouth with my hands, and we wait for Team Rocket to leave. When they do, and we hear the door shut, we step out from behind the curtain. We rush to the back room of the Sea Cottage, where the prototype is. Then, I hear the sound of moaning. I turn to my right and jump when I see Misty and Bill tied up together. I run over, and send out Charmy. I look apologetic for what's about to happen, then hold Charmy's flaming tail up to the rope. It catches on fire, and burns away. I can see tears of pain forming in their eyes, but I can't even use Heal Pulse anymore because I'm not in my Pokémon body. Once the rope has disintegrated, Misty tries to get up, but falls back to the floor. Remited runs up and helps her to her feet, and I help Bill walk over to his prototype machine. Then, Remited walks over to him with Misty's arms around him.

"We got two more Moon Stones!"

"All...right...!"

Remited takes them out of his Bag. He hands them to Bill, who pockets them. Misty, feeling more like herself, takes out the Meteorites she found, and hands them to Bill.

"Ah, good!"

Then, Julie runs up with her Comet Shard.

"Ok...how do these power it?"

Bill doesn't respond just yet. He waits until he walks over to the machine. Then he pushes a button, and a container pops out.

"The spatial energy from these items is what powers it."

We are all visibly confused. But he ignores our confusion.

"Hey, Remited?"

"Yea?"

"How about you ride on Phoenix's back to Mt. Moon to get the last two Moon Stones?"

"Sure."

He looks at me, and I nod. I pull out Phoenix's Ball and toss it in the air. Then the roof of the Cottage starts retracting. I turn around suddenly as I hear a voice, and I gasp when I see who it is.

"Well, well. Looks like the twerps are back. Time to take their Pokémon!"

I gasp, and start backing up.

"Meh-heh-heh! Get the human! She's actually Meloetta, remember!"

I look back to where Phoenix and Remited where, and they are already gone. I turn back to face James and Jessie, and then see Meowth lunging at me with his fists about to strike my face. I fall on the back of my legs and whimper in fear. Then, Nick, in my old body, jumps in front of me with his eyes glowing blue. Suddenly, Meowth gets flung against the wall. Nick then jumps up and uses Double Kick to knock out the Scratch Cat Pokemon. Jessie runs up and grabs the unconscious cat, and then sends out Arbok. Nick then proceeds to use Psychic, and I am amazed at how quickly he has figured out how to use my power. He flings the giant poisonous snake across the room. Misty then sends out her Starmie to assist Nick. Nick nods to Starmie, and then uses his newfound Psychic power to levitate the Water-type. Then, while in the air, the Starmie uses Hydro Pump to Faint Arbok. Jessie appears to be seething with rage, and she then runs up and kicks Nick so hard that his body is bouncing across the room. I gasp, and run over to him. He is unconscious, and I sit on my knees with one arm on his shoulder. I turn to Bill and Misty and they run up to me. Them, we all hear a knocking on the door. I gasp, and Bill gets up. He then looks through one of the windows. He opens the door, and Julie enters. She gasps when she sees Nick, and runs up to him. As she is starting to pull out her portable Healer, Bill stops her.

"Save the energy for that machine. When we switch them back into their bodies, he'll be fine."

Julie nods, and takes out a Comet Shard.

"Good, good. Now all we need is one more Moon Stone. Remited should be able to get it."

Remited's POV

As I am riding on Phoenix's back, I'm surprised by how smooth the flight is. When I spot Mt. Moon, I direct him to land next to the lake. Then, I slide off his back, and then I see a Clefairy. It spots me, and then runs up to me. I recognize her by her actions of friendship towards me.

"Claudia?"

She nods, and then takes my hand. She leads me to a cave, Phoenix walks as far in to the cave as he can, then plucks a feather out and hands it to me. I understand what he wants me to do-use the feather as a torch to light the way. Claudia leads me to the clearing where Nick and I fought to save her. Then, I see one of her Clefairy friends is KOed. She runs up to it, and looks at me with a pleading look in her eyes. I understand, and pull a Revive out of my Bag. I use it on the Fainted Clefairy, and its eyes open. Claudia runs over and hugs her friend. Then, the ground rumbles, and the two Clefairy run and hide behind my legs. They start shaking, and I try to comfort them by sending out Zenny. Then, a wild Onix bursts out of the ground, and roars at me. The Clefairy cry out in fear, and I get in a protective pose in front of them.

"Zenny..."

The Wartortle turns his head to look at me.

"...use Water Pulse!"

He nods, and then fires the Water Pulse at the attacking Onix. It cries out in pain, and then uses a Tail Whip, It spins around and slams Zenny into the cave wall using its tail. Zenny gets back up, and I know what to do.

"Zenny, jump on its head and use a Water Gun!"

Zenny throws a rock at it, and the Onix uses Dig. It burrows into the ground, and then pops back up. Zenny jumped up right as the Onix reappears. He lands on its head, and use the Water Gun. That faints the wild Onix. I recall Zenny, and the two Clefairy shakily come out from behind me. I turn to face them, and they hug me tightly. Together, we walk out of the cave back to the lake where Phoenix is waiting. Then, as I am approaching Phoenix, I hear a sound behind me. I turn around, and see Claudia running up to me. She's holding a Moon Stone.

"Is-is this for me?"

She nods, and holds it up to me. I take it, and then hug her again.

"Maybe we will see each other again, Claudia. But, I need to go now and help out Nick."

She nods, and waves to me as I climb back on Phoenix's back. We take off for the Sea Cottage, but I look behind me and see Claudia still waving. I smile.
