Chapter 25: Elven Strife Pt 2
Within fortress of the Light Elf military, there is a lone man going though the barracks slaying anyone in his path with blood and gore scattered across the once clean marble white walls.
"Grunts, what is that noise?" the general of the base said as he hears the radio in his ear to buzz with explosions and screams of terror from men and women being reduced to bloody chunks of flesh and blood spread on the floor.
"Sir, a human with long silver hair and a distinct looking sword is tearing through our ranks," a sergeant said as groups of machines manned by Light Elves firing machine guns and fireballs.
The silver haired man is evading and deflecting the attacks with his blade and letting out several energy crescents that slice up hordes of troopers and machines turning them into piles of scrap and gore.
"Pitiful," the silver haired man said as he releases a wave of fireballs to set several other troopers on fire for they were screaming in terror to be burning alive and melting off their skins.
"A human can't be that strong," the general said to sound in disbelieve.
"Oh, he is very real sir," the sergeant said in a panic as his door explodes with his guards were instantly kill by a sliver flash. His eyes can't track the flash for his head rolls off his shoulders with blood shooting out of his exposed neck slot.
"Sergeant, where are you soldier? Sergeant?!" General ordered as everything has gone silent within the military complex filled with dead machines and corpses. "What the hell is going on?" he demanded as he hears the echoes of footsteps outside his door.
The door is destroyed for a sliver flash tackles him and pins him to a wall to see the cold stare of the silver haired man. "Where is the Magicite?" he demanded in a low yet cold whisper.
"Its over there," the Light Elf is in sheer terror and total shock at this human's raw power and skill. "This is laughable over 5000 Light Elf Magi troopers and Magitek robots all gone. Who is this guy?" the general wondered for the silver haired man grabs a Magicite of an Esper called Phoenix.
"Thank you for your assistance," the silver haired man said as he swiftly slit the officer's throat with blood gushing from his neck to crash onto the ground. He crushes the Magicite for he absorbs the Esper's powers into his own body to feel a massive surge flowing through his body.
"Cloud, try and stop me now. I will get stronger from absorbing the soul of these Espers until I am stronger enough for me to wield a power even the Goddess Cosmo and her kind truly fear. Then these worlds will be my to rule," he said to disappear out of the base to leave a wake of destruction behind him.
Elsewhere Kairi and her friends are being led by the Dark Elf Keyblade Master within the forests to go down a dirt road.
"Okay the mountain where the dark tower is located is to the far north of the capital," Umiko said.
"We do have to walk?" Prishe complaining.
"I think it's nice to enjoy the scenery," Terra said to see the acres of purple trees with some of them bearing weird looking fruit.
"Indeed," Kairi said.
"Keep your awareness, there could be Light Elves patrols since they are fighting for regional control and could have bases," Umiko said as they go into the forest.
"So; what did you and Kairi talk about Umiko?" Riku asked.
"About the past and relating it to the present. It seems like yesterday you three were novices before," Umiko said.
"Now we are real heroes," Sora said sounding pumped up.
"Hey man, you are not heroes yet," Prishe said.
"We are getting there," Sora said to pout for Riku and Kairi laugh at this.
"You too Kairi, you are getting there," Riku joked as Kairi pouts.
"Me and Sora, we will raise to the challenge and be able to hang with you guys," Kairi said feeling assurance in her and Sora's abilities.
"I am looking forward to that," Umiko said as Terra grab hold on her magical blade for Prishe looks impressed by it.
"Cool sword Minty, what is it called?" Prishe asked.
"This is a powerful magical sword called Excalibur, I can channel my magic through it quite easily," Terra said.
"I wonder Terra, do you remember your parents?" Ulmia asked.
"That seems like a big blur to me, I am sad I don't know my parents. I would think one of them is an Esper to make me into a hybrid," Terra said.
"I hope you find out soon," Riku said showing her kindness.
"Yes, thank you Riku. You have been a great help these last weeks," Terra said as her cheeks are getting red.
"So, putting the moves on her Riku," Sora joked as Riku playfully hits him on the head.
"Can it Sora, we are just friends," Riku said as the blushes on their faces shows something much more.
"Sure Riku," Kairi said playfully.
"I value your companionship Riku," Terra said to grab onto his hand tenderly.
"Yeah me too," Riku said to see the green haired girl show a gentle smile which put him at ease.
Soon enough Abigail is on top of her Heartless Phoenix to overlook them from a mountain. "Well, well. The two traitors are here with their allies, time to give them the welcome wagon," Abigail snaps her fingers to summon Heartless for they come out of forest in droves.
"Heartless," Kairi summons her Destiny's Embrace with everyone else drawing out their weapons.
"I will stay out of your way and support you. Good luck," Ulmia said to get away from the battle for the six are engaging the Heartless.
"Coming through," Prishe said is blasting groups with Banish spells and bashing larger Heartless with her magical fists and feet. "Dragon Rising," Prishe ducks under a Large Body and lets out a powerful uppercut to launch it into the air. She follows up but leaping behind it and bashing it to lob it into a crowd of Heartless to kill them off.
Terra is using her magic to fly dodging incoming Air Soldiers to use Magnega to gather all of them into a group and pepper them with Thundaga instantly destroying them. "Mega Flare," Terra raises her blade to form a huge ball of flames and then toss it into a huge group of Heartless turning them to ashes.
Terra is craving through Heartless with her magical blade to stab into a Large Body's head to let out a concussive blast to knock it into a horde of Heartless.
Riku is craving through groups of Heartless with his Keyblade Way to the Dawn with him using Dark Firaga to pepper several Air Soldiers. A Mega Shadow appears to tackle into him as he regains his balance with the large Shadow getting hit by the passing Large Body to stun it in its tracks.
"Thanks Terra," Riku said as he cuts down the Mega Shadow to sever its head and become a pool of black goo.
"No problem," Terra said to fly away to fight more Heartless with Riku pressing his fight to toss his blade shrouded in darkness. His flying Keyblade is slicing down tons of Heartless with him calling back his Keyblade.
"Shadow Flare," Riku gather purple flames into his palm and leash out the orb of dark fire to smash into another Mega Shadow destroying it easily.
Umiko is dashing through several Heartless with her blasting apart enemies with her magical beams. "Cometeo," she waves her Brightcrest into a circle to conjures portals with lots of white hot comets tearing through the mobs of Heartless with bright explosions.
"Stopza," she cast her time magic which freeze entire hordes of Heartless. "Deep Freeze," she creates a chilly wave of wind to instantly turn them into blocks of ice. "Waterza," she targets all the frozen Heartless with powerful jets of water to scatter them all on impact.
"Balloonza," several big energy orbs and launches them at the monsters with all of them bursting into even smaller energy orbs to slam into the beasts.
Kairi is evading and putting up magical barriers to block incoming spells from Bookmasters. "Reflega," she is deflecting all the powerful spells back at the book wielding Heartless.
"Holy Burst," Kairi is spray small orbs of light to strike down multiple Heartless. "Banish," Kairi is firing spears of light to destroy the magic wielding Heartless as she uses Zero Gravity to encase them in gravity orbs to destroy them with more light spells.
Sora is within his Ifrit state now dubbed Power State for Sora is unleashing balls of flames to destroy groupings of Heartless to see Kairi get knock back by a Mega Shadow. Sora leaps in and drop kicks the big beast into a tree to knock it over.
"You okay?" he asked as Kairi nods her head to give him a bright smile.
"Thank you sweetheart," Kairi shoots a fireball at the big monster to turn it into black mist.
Sora is being chased by another Mega Shadow for Sora runs up a tree to be over the beast and crash his feet into its head killing it for the Heartless horde has been destroyed.
Ulmia senses something in the trees. "Guys something else is nearby," she said as Prishe draws out her fists to have Ulmia get behind her.
"What is that?" Prishe wondered as the creature bust through the trees to reveal to be a large Heartless known as a Blighted Hydra with a snake like head stretching from its lanky four legged frame.
"A Blighted Hydra, a pretty powerful Heartless," Umiko said. "Everyone distracted it while I charge up for a very strong spell," she commanded.
"Yes madam," all six said as they go at the powerful beast as Riku charges up his blade to let out energy crescents to cut into the Heartless's body leaving little damage. The Hydra fires beams of acid to melt the surrounding trees with Prishe grabbing Ulmia in her arms to protect her.
"You okay?" she asked as her taller friend nodded.
"I am okay, I will get out of your way," Ulmia said to get out of her arms to hide somewhere to continue to support them with her magical music.
"Okay snake for brains, time to turn you into a new pair of shoes," Prishe said to clash with the monster for a vicious battle takes place.
Sora and Prishe are swiftly dodging incoming beams of acid to still be in his Power State to slide under the beast to begin pounding it with powerful uppercuts slowly pushing it higher in the air. Their final blow hits the beast when it falls back onto the ground sending it flying onto the trees.
"Not bad Spiky," Prishe said as he switches back to Base Form to wield his Keyblade to slice the neck from its body as a black liquid is pouring out of the neck slot.
Suddenly two more heads pop out as the Heartless becomes more aggressive and stronger to strike its front legs onto the dirt to leash out a powerful shockwave to knock everyone backwards and its first head lunges to launch Sora onto the ground.
"Sora," Kairi said to shoot Pearl and Banish spells but the Heartless is brushing off the spells.
Sora regains his balance to get back onto his feet with him calling on Leviathan's power now dubbed Mage State as he is running around blasting the beast with energy beams from his wand. He leaves behind energy orbs to begin circling around the Heartless while dodging acid beams and shockwaves.
Kairi is blocking incoming acid beams and shockwaves with Riku tossing several dark fireballs to stun the beast. Terra is letting a barrage of high tier spells to keep the beasts distract with it shooting some of her spells out of mid air.
Sora rolls onto the ground to let all several orbs to slam into the beast stunning it further with him firing a high pressure water beam aiming for one of the heads.
The other head fires an acid beam to cancel out his energy attack with Kairi summons her magic barrier to block the incoming lunge but the other head tackles on the side of Kairi's barrier to smash through it and knock both Kairi and Sora onto the ground.
"Shit," Riku cursed to fire two gravity spheres to hold the heads down with him slicing off the two necks from the body. Four heads grow in their place as they all focus their acid beams into a single powerful blast.
Riku use his Deflecting Slash as his Keyblade is covered with magical energy to bounce the attack back with twice the power and speed to strike the beast to knock it several yards away.
"Tornado Slash," Riku powers up his Keyblade to pull it back and swing it like a fan to unleash several potent twisters to slam into the monster with each hit pushing it back further. The beast begins to charge up a powerful beam to strike the ground.
The explosion knocks Riku across the field with him at the last minute put up a dark barrier but he taken the heavy hit to knock him out.
"This thing is crazy strong, Haste," Prishe empowers her with time magic to rush at the monster with sheer speed and evasion. "Minty, back me up," Prishe said as she is evading the incoming acid beams with Terra flying beside the Dark Elf as she is blocking the acid beams with her magic.
"Of course," Terra said to wield her Excalibur as they both are having a hard time dealing with all four heads at once as well as the monster becoming even more powerful. Terra uses her sword to slash the air forming an X made of lightning to aim at the beast as the Heartless knocks the attack away with one of its heads.
Prishe and Terra are dodging the incoming attacks while shooting lightning bolts and light orbs but nothing seems to be hurting it much.
"It's getting too strong," Terra said getting tried using more magic for the Heartless lets out a powerful roar that echo through the whole forest and shaking the ground beneath it.
Umiko is very impressive by their performance against the ever powerful Hydra. The Heartless is leashing out its heads as Terra uses Graviga to trap them down with Prishe mule kicking the beast to knock it back.
Terra slice off the necks to see all eight heads appear out of the exposed neck slots. The monster fire all beams of toxic flames to convert into a massive ray of flames.
Kairi begins to get onto her feet to see the powerful Heartless is about to wipe them out. "Guys," Kairi rushes over with the magic shield to get hit with the full force of the energy attack.
Kairi's barrier breaks to fall onto the ground and has gotten severe burns on her body along with her clothing getting badly damaged.
"Kairi," Prishe and Terra shouted as Kairi is on the ground barely unable to resist the deep pain all over her body for Umiko comes to her aid.
"Kairi, you are hurt," Umiko said to hold up her head to make her look into her kind red eyes as her gentle face gave some comfort from Kairi's intense pain. Kairi looks at the Heartless shoot 8 beams of acidic flames heading for them.
"Look out," Kairi shouted as she braced for more pain but strangely nothing happened.
Kairi looks up to see Umiko's red eyes glow for they were an energy barrier protecting them from the powerful attacks. She waves her hand to let out an invisible blast to collide with the attacks to blow through them easily to hit the beast to stun it in place.
"Magic Hour," Umiko summons her magical might for tons of large beams of light rain down from the sky onto the Heartless for it burns into its body taking massive amounts of damage. Then she summons the last beam of light to strike the monster to engulf within blinding light for it vanishes into black mist.
"Master, that was amazing," Kairi said to be dumbfounded by her master's power for Umiko lost her breath for a moment to regain her energies.
"It was nothing, you all are safe. That is what matters to me," Umiko said to give her a motherly smile to cast Curaza to restore her to full health with no burns in sight and her clothes were fully repaired.
Riku goes over to Sora to see if he is okay. "Yo, Sora. You alright?" Riku asked as Sora gets back onto his feet.
"Yeah, I got knocked around a bit," Sora said as Riku pats him on the back.
"I know you are too stubborn to die," Riku joked.
"Yeah very funny," he said sharing the humor in the moment.
"Good save Master Umiko," Ulmia said.
"Hey with your magical music, we were able to keep up and not die so easily," Prishe said for Sora goes over to Kairi with Terra going over to Riku.
"You okay Kairi?" he asked sounding worried for Kairi gives him a hug.
"Yes, thanks to Master. I am fine, thanks for the concern," she said as Terra looks to see Riku looks bruised for she cast Cura spell to fix him up.
"Thanks, you okay Terra?" he asked.
"I am fine, thanks for the concern," Terra said for Prishe goes up with Kairi.
"You alright Kairi, that was fucking crazy. You could have died trying to block that for us," Prishe said sounding worried.
"You are my friends, I would do it again in a heartbeat," Kairi said as Terra and Prishe flush from her kindness.
"You are so sweet Kairi," Terra said.
"Gee, you don't have to be mushy with me Kairi," Prishe said as Kairi's blue eyes widen by this.
"Hey, you stop calling me Red," Kairi said sounding happy with Prishe blushing with chocolate colored cheeks glowing darker.
"Well you did take a big blow for us, so you are cool with me I guess," Prishe said as Kairi is happy she earned the Dark Elf's respect.
"Oh Prishe, you are making friends Prishe," Ulmia said as she is happy her best friend is making more friends with other girls.
"Yeah, yeah," Prishe said sounding dismissive for them to continue their trip to the mountain as Abigail looks on with interest.
"They are much stronger than before and Umiko has gotten stronger as well. I need to find that lead on the Keystone here within this world," Abigail said as she flies off with her Heartless bird to go onto her search.
