Chapter 28: One with Nature
Within the Sora's and Kairi's Gummi ship, Terra is in one of the guest rooms to be asleep in bed for the trip is taking longer than expected. "No, please. It hurts, no more please," she muttered as she is having a nightmare of her time being an experiment and a slave by her former boss Drake.
-Flashback Begins-
Terra is within a plain white room which is very spacious for she is strip naked and put against a wall with her limbs sticking there by tight metal binds. Drake is in an observation station just above the wall looking inside along with his researcher Yagi who is quite young Au Ru male wearing a white flowing robe.
"How is the process?" Drake asked as the dragon humanoid is overlooking the screens and monitors.
"Stable, with her increasing age she is gaining more power from her Esper blood," Yagi said as Drake strokes his chin in thought
"Okay my dear, I need you to focus your magic to deflect these metal balls coming out of this cannon using a magical aura," Drake said on the loudspeakers for Terra sees the cannon on the other side of the room. "Prepare yourself," Drake said as the cannon is shooting heavy metal balls to strike Terra's stomach as her magical aura holds up but feels large amounts of pain from the hard impact.
"Interesting, she is doing it out of sheer reflex," Yagi said as Terra spits out blood onto the pure white floor.
"Shoot," Terra said as three metal balls strike her to slam her arms to feel a painful sting for her magic is weakening from each blow. Suddenly a fourth ball appears to go at twice the speed to strike Terra in the chest to break her magical aura and one of her ribs breaks from the hit catching her off guard.
"Seems like her barrier didn't hold up long," Yagi said.
"Oh Terra, better check next time," Drake said as Terra feel something coming down her legs to see she is pissing on the floor. "Oh; how dreadful, get a cleaning crew down there. Don't want our pet to get sick in her own filth," he said on the loudspeaker.
Terra felt like dying from the sheer humiliation. "This is so terrible, this has been like this since I got out of that tube," Terra said as she hangs off the binds for her magic is healing her broken rib within an hour is fixed.
"Interesting her healing factor has increased from her Esper blood," Yagi said.
A cleanup crew comes in with Terra feeling embarrassed by their leering eyes some with disgust and others with lust. "What a freak," the male said as one of them is staring at her short shapely figure.
"Too bad, too bad," other male said to lick his lips at the pleasant sight with Terra's long green hair blocking her whole face.
"Why can't this stop," Terra thought for she has only known pain and suffering under his thumbs as Drake unlocks her binds for she hits the now clean floor.
"Get into your combat suit, we will be running combat situations later. Get prep in 30 minutes," Dr Drake said as Terra nods her head thinking about her miserable existence to go off to her room to get ready for more horrible tests.
-Flashback Ends-
Riku and the others are beside Terra who wakes up from her nightmare to have cold sweat going down her face. "Hey what is going on Terra?" Riku asked.
"Yeah, you were screaming in your sleep," Sora said as Terra wipes the sweat from her forehead.
"Oh my, that is one heck of a nightmare," Terra said as she flashes of her torture at the hands of Drake and his personal researcher Yagi.
"What was it about?" Kairi asked.
"Well it was my time serving Drake and his group. I was put through some twisted experiments and I wish I forget about it," Terra said.
"I can relate to that, some things are well worth forgetting about," Red XIII said.
"How so?" Kairi asked.
"Well like Terra, I was a lab rat by a Radiant Garden researcher Moji," Red XIII said as Riku's eyes widen by this name.
"Really?" Terra asked.
"Yes, despite the name, Radiant Garden has a dark underbelly that barely anyone has seen. Many people use Ansem the Wise's resources for their own twisted agendas without him knowing about it," Red XIII said sounding somber.
"Ansem the Wise?" Kairi asked as she felt she heard that name somewhere before.
"Yes, he is the Sage King of Radiant Garden and the surrounding towns and villages connected with the powerful city state," Umiko said.
"I see, do you know where he went?" Kairi asked.
"No, he disappeared when the Heartless Siege came onto Radiant Garden. It was terrible, a sight of sheer madness and death," Umiko said.
"Master, it sounds like you were there," Kairi said.
"Indeed; I was, I was helping with the others. That is when I first met Leon and the others to join me to fight my brother and his group," Umiko said.
"Seems like we are about to get to Junglelands," Riku said as he checked the autopilot for he goes to check up on Terra. "You okay?" he asked sounding concerned as she nods her head.
"Yes, I am fine. I going to get into my dress and grab my sword," Terra said as she goes to her travel bag to take out her gear to get ready.
Elsewhere within the jungles of the world, Abigail is on her Heartless phoenix to search for the Keystone within the world. "Hey Seifer, you find anything yet?" she asked.
"Nope, everyone else?" Seifer asked on the radio.
"Nothing here you know," Raijin said.
"Nothing," Fujin said.
"I got nothing out here," Angel said as Abigail groans at this.
"Oh; come on, do better. We only have three of the 7 Keystones," Abigail said as she is using her height within the sky to scout for anything. She looks on to see a big village in the distance. "There is a village, I am going to check it out and give the elder a proper hello," Abigail said as she takes flight towards the village along with a horde of Heartless going to attack the village.
Elsewhere Kairi and the others warp into the jungle to hear explosions within the distance. "What is that?" Sora questioned as they spot a familiar Heartless bird in the sky.
"Is that clown woman's Heartless," Kairi said as Red XIII looks on with worry.
"That is in the distance of my village," he said.
"She must be attacking a village, okay Kairi and Terra fly ahead. We will catch up with you," Umiko said.
"Okay," Kairi said to activate her Divine State as Terra is using her magic to float into the air.
"Keep them safe," Red XIII said as Kairi nods her with a smile on her face.
"We will, come on Terra let's go," Kairi spread out her energy wings for them to fly off.
"I sense someone is there with great magic power," Umiko said as she connects with the mind of this person.
"Oh Umiko, its good to see here," a very calm sounding voice said.
"Y'shtola, one of your research trips?" Umiko asked.
"Yes, but these blasted Heartless are trying to harm these people. I am trying my best to hold them back," she said.
"Don't worry, two girls will come in and aid you. Me and the others will be coming as well," Umiko said as she cuts off he mental link.
"Who are you talking to?" Sora asked.
"Her name is Y'shtola Rhul, she is a Miqo'te researcher who is a long time ally of my. She seems to be on one of her research trips until the Heartless crashed her trip," Umiko said.
"Follow me, I know the way," Red XIII said to run in a hurry. "Grandpa, you don't die on me," he thought as the four rush through the jungle to head for the village.
Both Terra and Kairi sees a white haired Miqo'te wielding a staff to blast away Heartless with mighty magic spells. "Blessed Lance," the cat eared woman is casting a barrage of spears made of light to tear through the groups of Heartless. She is the calm within the middle of the chaos as the village is overran with Heartless with the local militia trying their best to hold them back.
"Looks like Umiko send me backup," Y'shtola said as she cast Quake to unleash rows of stone spikes to pierce into groupings of Heartless.
"Wow, she is so strong," Terra said looking impressed as Kairi was as well.
"Right, she is my master's friend. Terra help her deal with the Heartless, I will deal with the clown woman and her pet," Kairi said.
"Right, be careful. She is strong," Terra said sounding concerned.
"I am strong too," Kairi said as she flies off to see a fireball coming for little boy.
"Opps kid, too bad you are going to be roasted pork," Abigail said as she laughs like a schoolgirl at the destruction she is causing. The little boy is stunned with fear unable to move until Kairi came in and slap the fireball away with her Keyblade.
"You okay," Kairi said to offer a gentle smile for the little scared boy.
"Thank you madam," he said as he goes off. Kairi takes flight to wield her Destiny's Embrace to let loose several ice blasts with the creature trading opposing fireballs to cancel out.
"Oh; hey there sailor scout. You are using your inner light, this will make things more interesting," Abigail said as she cast a barrier to protect herself and her beast from Kairi's spells.
"Why attack this harmless village?" Kairi demanded as she sounded very harsh in her normally soft voice.
"Well I was going to talk but that would take too long. So, I had my Heartless and my pet go to put the fear into them to give me what I want," Abigail said.
"Holy," Kairi gathers light into a big orb and fling it at the barrier to be strong enough to scatter it and make both Abigail and her Heartless get push back almost losing her balance. "Banishga," Kairi is shooting out orbs of light to explode in the air to knock Abigail and her bird is pushed back further. "You are really foul, you know that," Kairi said as she anger at this woman for playing with the villagers like they were her dolls.
"Like I care. Come on Spitfire, let's give her a chase," Abigail ordered as her bird flies away with Kairi giving her chase with Abigail casting Icicle Mines.
Kairi see lots of ice crystals that float behind Abigail as Kairi got close to one to get hit with an icy blast to make her recoil backwards.
Kairi is flying through the barrage of ice crystals to evade and shoot them to make a path towards Abigail. "Tornado," Kairi creates a twister of wind to collide with the water to become a water sprout to suck in all the explosive ice crystals.
The water twister traps the evil duo for the crystals explode to freeze the twister to entrapped them. Kairi tosses a Fire spell at it to make the frozen twister shatter causing a lot of damage onto Abigail and especially her bird.
"Oh; my sweet Spitfire, I am going to heal you now," Abigail said as Kairi pushing her advantage to blast them with spells which prevent Abigail from healing her beast. "Hey; you big meanie, I am trying to help my friend," Abigail fires a Firaga at the village for Kairi can't able to block with Terra and Y'shtola combining their magic to summon a barrier around the villager to deflect the fire spell.
"That was close," Terra said as she is using her blade to slash through several Heartless. "Riot Blade," Terra emits her Excalibur sword with glowing magical energy and let out several powerful energy crescents to slice through hordes of enemies.
"Indeed, you must be the hybrid I have been hearing about," Y'shtola said as she conjure Aeroga to let out a large gust of wind to blow away the lesser Heartless.
"Yes," Terra said as she launches a fireball to set a Large Body on fire and turn it into black mist.
"Very interesting, you are very one of a kind," Y'shtola said in her very calm voice which remained unchanged despite the fierce combat around them.
"Yeah, I have been told that a lot lately," Terra said as she is slashing apart a Soldier Heartless with her sword.
"Indeed," Y'shtola said as they spot Umiko and the others with Red XIII taking down a large Heartless.
"You two alright?" Red XIII asked.
"Yes, thank you Red XIII," Y'shtola said as Sora and the other aid in protecting the village from the Heartless.
"Let's do this," Sora said as everyone else goes off and destroying groups of Heartless with strikes and spells with Kairi still fighting the duo above them.
"It's a Heartless, it's no one's friend. Holy Flame," Kairi tosses a gravity sphere to slam into the beast to slow it down as she fires a small white flame from her Keyblade. The little flame hits its target to let out a pillar of white hot flames which is burning the Heartless as Abigail is panicky,
"Oh; you bitch, you are killing my friend. I will not let you hurt her further, Ultima Beam," she summons energy into her wand and fires a big beam of magical energy for Kairi uses her barrier to block it is being pushed back with the powerful spell.
"Reflega," she made her barrier with some effort deflect back the spell to tear through the Phoenix in half by the spell.
"No!" Abigail falls from the sky to summon a magic circle to land onto it. "You stupid cheerleader, I am going to make you pay for that," Abigail said as she goes into a dark portal for Kairi gets back onto the ground to revert to normal.
Kairi falls onto her knees for Sora and Riku check up on her. "Are you okay, are you hurt?" Sora asked sounding concerned.
"Yeah, you were doing some impressive things out there," Riku said as Kairi nods her head.
"Yes; I am fine, just tired," Kairi said as Terra is impressed by that.
"Wow Kairi, you were pretty amazing handling that weird clown lady and her Heartless pet," Terra said.
"Oh; my Umiko, you have gathered some strong young allies," Y'shtola said to observe the others.
"You must be Y'shtola?" Kairi asked as this brown skinned Miqo'te to bow her head.
"Yes, I am. I am here to do research on Sylph who is deep under the village. You must be Kairi, Sora and Riku, " Y'shtola said.
"You missed the party of my students' success," Umiko said as Y'shtola dust off her white robe.
"You know I don't like parties," Y'shtola said as she sense something special in both Kairi and Sora. "I see Kairi you have the light of the Goddess Cosmo and Sora you have the two elemental Espers that were Cosmo's guardians Ifrit and Leviathan," Y'shtola said.
"Yes, how do you know?" Sora asked.
"I can sense their powers within you through the Aether. You two are bonded by faith itself," Y'shtola said.
"Yeah, seems like I can't get rid of her," Sora joked as Kairi pouts at his lame joke.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Kairi asked as Sora laughs for she laughs with him. "Sorry, I had to play along with that," Kairi said playfully.
"Oh, I am quite thankful for your help protecting our village," an old man appears with a long white bread, a bald man and wearing glasses while sitting on top of a green floating orb.
"Grandpa, you seem well," Red XIII said.
"Yes Nanaki, its been a long time since you came back here," the old man said.
"Oh yes, this is Bugenhagen. He is the elder of Cosmo Village," Y'shtola said.
"Thank you Y'shtola you have been a great help to us," the old man said as she bows her head.
"Of course, I will be aiding with the wounded in the village," she goes off to begin using her magic to heal the injured.
"Nanaki?" Kairi asked.
"Yes, its been a long time since I heard my name," Red XIII said.
"Yes, Nanaki along with his race were the guardians of this world but due to these dark creatures their numbers were slowly going down," Bugenhagen said.
"Sorry I wasn't here for you all," Red XIII said sounding sorrowful for the old man went up and pet him on his furry head.
"Don't worry about it, let me show you around here and get comfortable," Bugenhagen said as they go into the village to enjoy the sights.
Meanwhile Abigail is crying in her camp with Seifer and the others looking annoyed by her constant whining. "Gee you know, its just a Heartless," Raijin said.
"Yeah, why are you crying so much about it?" Seifer asked.
"Because that Heartless was my best friend's heart," Abigail said as Seifer's and Angel's interests were peaked.
"Really, I got to hear this," Seifer said to amuse her to talk more.
"Well her name is Gwen; she is like a little sister to me. I took care of her but she was heavily mistreated by her parents. I tried my best to comfort her but she was pushed too far which broke her mind. She burn down her house killing herself along with her parents," Abigail said as Seifer and Angel were caught off guard by this.
"Oh my," Angel said.
"Heavy," Fujin said.
"No kidding you know," Raijin said.
"Wow, sorry about that," Seifer said sounding sympathy which caught Abigail off guard.
"Yeah, when the fire went down. There is only that Heartless left in its place, at first I was scared but she didn't attack me and stroking my cheek like she was trying to comfort me," Abigail said as she breaks down crying again. "She is all I had from my past life before the Syndicate and now that red headed bitch took her away from me," Abigail said with pure venom drooping her joking nature from before.
"I can relate to that," Angel said to adjust her helmet which covered her whole head including her face.
"I am going to burn that bitch along with that blasted village," Abigail said.
"Indeed, but we should find the Keystone. That Elder will know about it," Angel said.
"Hey why did you join the group?" Seifer asked Abigail as she calms down.
"Where am I supposed to go, I was an orphan. Drake gave me purpose that I can help him unite the worlds as one to make everything be better. If it means getting my hands dirty so be it," Abigail said.
"Yeah, my life in Radiant Garden was dull and unfulfilling. I wanted to be like my hero and change the world. I helped Drake destroy Radiant Garden and get comfortable within Hollow Bastion," Seifer said.
"Well, we should prepare for our invasion of that damned village. If we must kill everyone to get the Keystone so be it," Abigail said.
Elsewhere Y'shtola, Riku, Terra and Umiko are talking within the village tavern for the Miqo'te mage is having a nice drink of wine with Riku having some flavored water.
"I must say Riku, you and your friends are quite interesting. You have managed to conquer your darkness within own heart. Very few can come out of there unharmed," the cat mage said.
"Well it wasn't a cakewalk," Riku said as the Miqo'te mage twitched her ears in amusement.
"I bet," Y'shtola said as Terra noticed a Moogle sitting in a corner serving some tea.
"You need anything, Kupo?" the waiter Moogle asked as Terra is quite fond of the cute creature.
"Oh, you are so cute," Terra said to go up and hug the furry creature. She holds his head onto her chest wanting to feel the Moogle's softness.
"I hope I get a cuteness tip for this Kupo," the Moogle waiter said as Y'shtola laughs at this.
"Very unusual indeed, she has the power of a magical god yet acts like a normal young lady," Y'shtola said.
"Yeah and I am good with that," Riku said.
"I see," Y'shtola said.
"I wonder why you are so strong?" Riku asked.
"Oh, I have been training in my home world for a long time. Fighting against the Heartless and other bringers of evils, its my job," she said.
"The Heartless destroyed your world huh?" he took a guess.
"Yes, it was painful but it motivates me to try hard and stop the Heartless and those who would side with these dreadful creatures," she said as she noticed him staring at her eyes.
"Do you find her fetching Riku, what would Terra say?" Umiko teased to make the young man blush.
"No, that is not it. I was looking at her eyes, they look very cloudy," Riku said to see the cat woman's eyes were a misty silver.
"Yes, that is because I am blind," Y'shtola said as Riku's mouth is hanging open with the mage looking amused by his reaction.
"Wait so, how can you fight like that?" he asked sounding curious.
"I can use magic to enhance my sight, in fact its better than using normal eyes since I can see things others do not," Y'shtola said.
"Sounds cool," he said.
"Indeed, it is," she said.
"Oh, how did you get blind if I may ask?' Riku asked.
"Well it was involving a powerful spell I was creating. I managed to make it but it cost me my eyes," Y'shtola said.
"I am sorry about that," Riku said.
"Its not a problem, it was worth it. I am only in my early 20s and mastered a spell which would take decades to perfect," she said sounding proud of her work.
"Bullshit, she is only in her mid-30s," Umiko laughed for this broke Y'shtola's stoic expression to look flustered with her brown skinned face glowing red.
"Don't say that," Y'shtola said to limp her head as Umiko laughs.
"She uses magic to hold off her aging which makes my master's efforts to gain a new body kind of silly in hindsight," Umiko said as they enjoy their meal.
Elsewhere within the village, Kairi, Sora, Red XIII and the Elder Bugenhagen are around a campfire. "Your village is so nice and peaceful," Kairi said admiring the view.
"Yeah it seems so swell here," Sora said.
"Yes, its good to be home again," Red XIII said.
"Yes, it's nice to have you back. We thought we lost you to those weird people in black," the elder said.
"I will not abandon to my village willingly unlike my father did," Red XIII sounding bitter at the mention of his dad as Kairi and Sora were confused by this.
"Why the bitterness Red," Sora asked as the elder looks on with a neutral expression.
"During the battle with the Heartless, my father went off and never came back. He is a coward and traitor," Red said.
"So Nanaki, you believe this?" the elder asked.
"Yes, I will be better than him. I will not abandon you grandpa," Red XIII said as Bugenhagen look on still not emoting just taking in his grandson's words.
"Speaking of which, I thought Red XIII's grandpa would be more like him," Sora said.
"Well after his father disappearance and his mother died of an illness. I took him under my wing and raise him as he is my own," he said.
"Oh, by the way. That woman mentioned about one of the four elemental Espers are here in the village?" Sora asked.
"Yes, I can sense the Esper within you my boy and the light of the Goddess. Y'shtola mentioned you two are special from her talks with Umiko. I can feel that you two will be at the center of the fight between good and evil," the elder said.
"Also, do you know where the Keystone is?" Kairi asked.
"Well, I did see something that you all mentioned before. Its within the caves below where the Esper is, you can kill two birds with one stone," the elder said.
"Well, that is nice. We should go grab the stone and the Esper," Kairi said as someone is overhearing their talking with a Heartless acting as a scout.
"Very interesting, we should strike shortly," Angel said as she is magically connected with Abigail.
"Good, I am going to enjoy this," Abigail said as the battle is almost here.
Within an hour Sora, Kairi and Red XIII are within the caves below with Umiko, Y'shtola, Riku and Terra above keeping watch over the village. A scout noticed something in the distance. "Heartless," the scout said as Riku draws out his Keyblade.
"Terra, ready to go?" he asked as Terra's body is empowered with magical energy wielding her sword.
"Yes, I am ready to fight," Terra said as Y'shtola pulls out her staff with her car ears twitching anxiously despite her normal stoic disposition.
"I am always ready to fight evil," Y'shtola said.
"Likewise," Umiko said as a wave of Heartless are coming on the horizon.
"They are here," the scout said as the others and the guards go on to assault the Heartless head on.
"Abigail will take care of the Keystone and the Esper," Angel said to wield her Gunblade alongside Seifer, Raijin and Fujin to clash with the Umiko and the others.
"So, we meet again kid," Seifer said to Riku to point his Gunblade at him as his other friends beside him wielding their weapons.
"Not you three again," Riku said sounding annoyed.
"We will not let go so easy on you like last time, you know," Raijin said.
"Fight," Fujin said as Riku is powering up with his Magicite in the slot above his hand to pulse with power.
"I will not either," Riku said goes with his Way of the Dawn in hand to trade blows with Seifer first as their duel is quick and brutal. Both Fujin and Raijin support Seifer with Wind and Thunder spells with Riku breaking off to evading their powerful magical blasts.
A wind hits Riku to trap him inside as Seifer goes to slash him several times to kick him in the head to knock him onto the ground. Riku digs his blade into the ground to catch his balance to block incoming blow from Raijin with Fujin backing him up by using Aeroga.
Riku shoves Raijin away as he uses a Deflecting Slash to catch the spell and bounce back at Raijin to trap him into a gust of razor sharp winds. "Tornado Blade," Riku gathers wind energy into his Keyblade to wave his weapon like a fan to let out a twister to block back both Fujin and Raijin.
Seifer leaps at Riku for he blocks his strike as they exchange lightning fast blows with Riku ducking under a swing and blasting Seifer in the chest with a fireball to knock him back.
"No Mercy," Seifer's darkness is swelling off his body as he dodges incoming fireballs to spinning his Gunblade in his hands like a sawblade and then lets out a powerful disc of energy to slam into Riku to slash at him multiple times until it explodes.
"Damn, that smarts," Riku thought as he barely dodges the Bo staff of Raijin with him getting hit by Fujin's chakram from a distance.
"Ruinga," Seifer is shooting bolts of explosive magical energy to destroy sections of the villages with Riku evading as both Fujin and Raijin are clashing with him in the destruction around him.
"Can't fight us at once, you know," Raijin said as he bats Riku with his staff with Fujin blasting him with wind to knock him into a pillar. Riku recovers to flip off the pillar to avoid a lightning bolt from Raijin as he deflects another one at Fujin to stun her. He closes in to bash her in the head and repeatedly stabbing her body and let out a powerful thrust to knock her into a wall.
"I can damn well try," Riku said as his Magicite of Diabolos is emitting great power for Riku is preparing for his trump card.
Elsewhere Umiko, Terra and Y'shtola are fighting great numbers of Heartless to see Angel on top of a building. "Can you sense that?" Y'shtola asked.
"Her power similar to an Esper," Terra said.
"And its feels very familiar," Umiko said.
"So, I will have to deal with you all at my full power. Prepare yourself," Angel summons long bird like wings to come out of her back.
"Wow, they look very pretty," Terra said as she admires her wings but at the same time is on guard feeling the vast magical power emitting from the woman's body.
"Yep, this is very familiar. So, you are not dead after all," Umiko said as the three of them brace for a fight.
"Thundaza," Angela summons a giant lightning bolt onto their location as Y'shtola uses her barrier to block the shot leaving them unharmed but it easily destroy it.
"She is packing some serous punch. She must be a Witch," Y'shtola said as Terra is confused by this as she is blocking incoming lightning bolts.
"Witch?" she asked.
"Certain women are blessed with vast magical potential which we dubbed witches," Umiko said.
"You and Kairi like that too?" Terra asked as she use Riot Blade to let out several energy crescents but Angel uses a barrier to block the attacks.
"No, we are both are on a different league," Umiko said as she is uses Stopza to freeze Angel in place with both Terra and Y'shtola using high tier magic to combine to slam into Angel.
The magic is enough to smash into her barrier as Angel flies at the trio to slam into Y'shtola to knock her into the dirt as Umiko clashes with Angel. She evade away to cast Graviga to trop angel in a sphere of gravity with Terra using Firaga to score a direct hit to cause some damage in a fiery blast.
The dust clears for Angel's armored suit is damaged for her helmet visor has a big crack to reveal her face for Umiko's thought were on point. "So Rinoa, you are still alive," Umiko said as she sees her brown hair, brown eyes and white skin.
"I am not Rinoa, she died when Squall left me to die under that cliff. I am Angel as I will be the one to help Drake in his new world," Angel said.
"So; Drake, you brainwash another one like Terra," Umiko thought.
"Rinoa, Squall's girlfriend. I thought she died," Terra said.
"No, she is here and she is under Drake's control via magic," Umiko said as she is blocking an incoming thunderbolt and uses her lightning bolt to shock Angel.
"Flare," Terra gathers a big ball of flames and flings it at the corrupted Rinoa to score another hit making her scream in pain.
"Damn it, they are stronger than they look," Rinoa said as she holds onto her arm for her power is harming her.
"I see, she didn't have control over it yet and her body is rejecting the power," Umiko said.
"Indeed," Y'shtola said.
"Shit, I need to finish this quickly," Angel flies high in the sky to prepare her spell. "Feel my wraith," Angel fires a quick gust of wind to knock them away. "Ultima Beam," she points her Gunblade to unleash a big beam of energy to hit for them.
"Oh shit," Umiko said as she hurt her leg until to move to block the spell.
"Oh no," Terra takes her stance and charges up a spell of her own. "Mega Flare," Terra gathers flames into her palm and let out a big ball of fire to clash with the magic beam to be within a magical struggle as both woman are trying their hardest to overcome the other.
Rinoa's Ultima Beam is slowly pushing back Terra's Megaflare as Terra looks on to see the whole area is shaking from their magical clash.
"Face it, you are going to lose," Rinoa mocking Terra.
"No, I will not," Terra said as the thoughts of Sora, Kairi, Umiko, and the others. "My friends and allies they need me and," Terra said to think of Riku's face popping into her mind. "Riku too," she said as Angel laughs at her.
"You think they like you, are you a freak," she taunted as Terra's conviction were clear and strong.
"Yes; they do, I am their friend and I am theirs. I will not let you harm this village anymore!" Terra's soft voice echoed through the village with her body is surging with magical power.
"What?!" Angel questioned with horror for Terra enters her Esper form to emit a lot of power enough to shake the entire jungle. "Impossible," she said in disbelieve.
"So, Terra gain back her Esper form due to the love of her friends and life itself," Umiko said to smile at the little hybrid.
Riku looks on to avoid strikes from the trio. "Terra, you manage to get your power back. I am proud of you," he said as he felt their training bouts payed off.
Terra's Megaflare is pushing back as Rinoa is losing the magic struggle. "This ends now," Terra's spell manage to break through the beam entirely and slam into Angel to cause severe damage.
"She can't be this strong," Rinoa said to be stunned in disbelieve of the massive power gap between them.
"Ultima and Holy," Terra's furry palms with her left black energy and her right white energy to conjure twin balls of magical energy. "Take this," Terra tosses the twin balls of black and white to clash with Angela to push her high into the air.
"Damn it, such power it's unreal," Angel said.
"Its over," Terra snaps her clawed fingers to let the two orbs unleash a massive explosion to send Angel flying across the world deep into the jungle.
"Amazing, the power of the Espers," Y'shtola said in awe of Terra's power.
"Yes, she is basically a demigod. I think Sora got lucky Terra didn't go all out in their fight in Atlantis," Umiko said as Terra floats beside Umiko to use Curaza to restore her to full health.
"You okay Umiko?" she asked.
"Yes, you were very impressive out there. Despite she is a Witch, your power surpass her in sheer volumes," Umiko said as Terra nods her head in happiness.
"Thank you, now let's deal with these Heartless," Terra said as the three women go on a full assault on the Heartless.
Within the caves Sora, Kairi and Red XIII are within the deep caverns to see a lot of Heartless. "Gee there are so many," Sora said to use his Oathkeeper to take out groups of them with a well-placed Strike Raid.
"They blasted creatures ruining the sacred caves," Red XIII using his claws, tail and spells to ruin teams of Heartless.
"Move out of her way," Kairi is casting Pearl and Banish spells to clear their path to the deep parts of the caves.
"So, the girl has her boyfriend and the animal with her. This is going to be sweet," Abigail said as she is on top of a rock to cast several spells to wreak havoc on the caves.
"Oh crap," Sora said as he got blasted by a magic blast to send him into a wall.
"You again," Kairi said as she sense a deep darkness within Abigail and her face lack that humor she had for its replaced with venomous rage.
"I am going to make you suffer for taking my best friend away from me," Abigail said as she cast Magnet to lift them up in the air and zap them multiple times with lightning spells. "Firaga," she cast a ball of flames to hit her target to cause a big explosion to scatter the trio into different corners of the cave.
Kairi hits her head against her wall to see blood coming down her neck as Abigail zaps her with more lightning to see Kairi screaming in pain. "Yes, yes. Scream cheerleader, its sweet nectars to my soul," Abigail said as her darkness is consuming her heart to devolve into a ruthless sadist.
Kairi yelps as Abigail is laughing without the cuteness anymore just pure rage.
"Why?" Kairi asked as she can smell her own flesh being cooked for she is getting zapped again for this was torture and Abigail is enjoying every bit of it.
"You took my best friend away from me. That Heartless was a person named Gwen, she is all I had in all the worlds. She suffered due to her asshole parents who took her for granted and treat her like shit," Abigail said as she continue to zap Kairi to see some parts of her skin have serious burns.
"What?" Kairi asked sounding very surprised to hear this.
"Yes, she was little a baby sister to me. I took care of her and try to gain a new path but it was too late. She snapped and commit suicide by burning her own along with her bastard parents with it. After the blaze I saw a Phoenix heartless left behind, it was her pain, sadness and anger turn into a Heartless. I was scared but the Heartless didn't attack me and we became partners," Abigail said.
"Oh goodness, I am so sorry," Kairi said sounding sympathy as Abigail tortures her some more for Sora is in deep pain beside a wall with an image of a winged woman imprinted there.
"Oh; I see, you have the power of the two Elemental Espers within you and protecting with the Goddess's light," Sylph said as her image is pulsing with power.
"Yes, I need your help," Sora said.
"Okay, I will offer you the power of the Wind and the sheer speed that comes with it," Sylph said as she gives Sora her power to feel a rush of energy within him.
Suddenly Abigail looks around to see a blur which knocks her onto her back. Sora's clothing changes color to green with his eyes turn green as well. His Keyblades transform into Key Punching Daggers.
"Kairi," Sora said to be beside as Kairi is in deep pain.
"You manage to find the Esper," she said as she cast a Curaga to heal her to full health and remove all the scars and burns off her skin.
"Yep, come on. Let's deal with her," Sora said as the duo go against the mad mage.
Abigail tries holding off their attacks but Sora stabs her in the stomach with his newfound speed to let a rapid barrage of stabs and uses the final stab to knock her backwards. Kairi is firing a lightning bolt into Abigail's chest to stun her in place.
"Tornado," Sora casts a big twister to engulf Abigail being torn apart by the sheer forces of the spell. Kairi lobs an electric orb into the middle of the tornado letting it implode causing massive damage to toss Abigail into a wall.
"Damn it," Abigail said as she leashes out with more Darkness emitting from her wounded body to continue the fight.
Red XII is within a cavern to gain his footing to see something unusual. "What is this?" he asked to see another person of his species standing on top of a cliff looking over a gap which looks like a stone statue.
"My grandson, this is your father Seto," Grandpa said within his mind.
"My father was here the whole time?" Red XIII asked to be very conflicted about his emotions.
"Yes, he didn't leave you and the village. He gave his life to protect the village the Heartless, he stop them at the pass from ever crossing inside but he was turned to stone by the creatures," Bugenhagen said.
"Why did you tell this before?" he asked.
"You need to see the truth yourself and draw from his final act of courage. To stop evil where it hides and put them back into the light," Bugenhagen said as Red XII goes up to see his father standing there like a true warrior protecting what is important within his heart.
"Father, I am so sorry about actions. I didn't know, I want to follow your explain. To be a great warrior who follows his heart and protect what is cherish to me. Thank you grandpa for showing me this, I got to go back to my allies," Red XIII said to rush off to back up Sora and Kairi for the statue is shedding tears for his son.
Back with Kairi and Sora are pressuring Abigail as her barrier is very strong blocking their attacks and spells. "You can't break my barrier, die!" Abigail said as she prepares to charge up a spell but gets hit with a powerful fireball making her recoil backwards.
"Leave them alone you demon," Red XIII said to jump in front of Sora and Kairi.
"Red XIII," both said to be glad he is okay.
"I am here, time to end this fight," Red XIII said as Abigail laughs like a demon to see the four legged creature.
"Oh, you are going to kill me fleabag," Abigail said in a mocking tone as Red XIII looks so calm that Sora and Kairi noticed the change within him.
"I am Nanaki of the Cosmo Village. The Son of the Warrior Seto and I will not tolerate your evil here within my home anymore!" Nanaki shouted with such conviction which caught off guard Kairi, Sora and Abigail. "Howling Moon," Nanaki uses a spell to increase his performance to rush at Abigail with rapid speed.
"What in the world, where did this strength come from?" Abigail is shooting fireballs with Nanaki looking like a blur easily avoiding her and tackling into the mad clown to launch her into a wall. Nanaki is shooting out several fireballs to score every hit and tackles her again.
He wraps his tail around her neck to spin her around and toss her into the air. "Cosmo Memory," Nanaki gathers plasma into his maul to take aim and unleash a big beam of plasma to catch Abigail into the beam to turn her to ash.
"Wow Red, that was amazing," Sora said.
"Yeah, good work Red XIII," Kairi said.
"Please call me Nanaki for now on," Nanaki said as the Keystone is just nearby. "She must of drop it in the battle," Nanaki said as they grab the item and got out of there.
Back with Riku is barely holding off the trio to unleash a wave of darkness to use the full power of the of the Lord of Sleep and Esper Diabolos to be covered in black demonic armor from head to toe.
"Darkness, I thought you were the hero?" Seifer mocked.
"Darkness isn't evil, it's those who abused it like you who are evil. Synch Blade," Riku said as he summons his Soul Eater in his other hand for he is dual wielding both Way of the Dawn and Soul Eater at once. "Abyss," Riku let out a powerful burst of Darkness to knock Raijin away to clash with both Fujin and Seifer.
The dual is brutal with Riku evading and blocking them at the same time.. He uses a pulse of Darkness to push them back as he twist himself around to spin like a top to slash at Fujin multiple times to lease out a powerful strike to send Fujin flying.
"This is insane," Seifer said as he puts more power for he is squaring off with Riku for they seem to be even matched. "Demon Slice," Seifer slam a fireball into the ground to make Riku lose his balance. Seifer starts spinning around like a sawblade to slash at Riku several times to use an upper slash to lift him into the air. "Firaza," Seifer fires a point black spell into his face to send him flying across the village to crash into a building.
"Seifer, we need to go. Abigail is dead," Rinoa said from a mental link.
"Fine, this mission is a bust. Fujin, Raijin time to get out here," Seifer said as they all go into a dark portal and the Heartless were destroyed by the trio.
"We did it," Terra said to go up to Riku who went back to normal to see a short pink furry humanoid with long wild purple hair. Terra give him a big hug for she glows in the face to be in her Esper form. "Oh sorry, I still look like this," Terra said.
"You look like a cute monster girl to me," Riku said as Terra has big smile on her face to feel her claws on his back.
"Oh thanks," Terra reverts to normal for they see the elder along with Kairi, Sora and Nanaki.
"Well thank you all for protecting the village. We are in your debt," Bugenhagen said to bow his head.
"No problem, we got the Esper and the Keystone. We should get moving," Sora said as Nanaki bows his head to his grandpa.
"Grandpa, once I become a great warrior. I will come back to you and the others," Nanaki said.
"Indeed, your father would be proud as am I," Bugenhagen lowers his orb to go and hug him tight.
"Thank grandpa, see you later," Nanaki said as he goes with the others for they now have 2 of the Keystones with three in the hands of the enemy and two others out there in the sea of stars and worlds.
