Chapter 106: Hubble Bubble
"Pink. Too much pink," Sanji observed as he and Chopper stepped into one of the largest rooms he had ever seen. A fine mist bubbles was wafting towards them from behind a dividing screen, even though it was opaque, Sanji still suffered a nosebleed at picturing the allure of having walked in on a bathing woman. "No kidding," Chopper replied, "this is too gaudy even for me".
"How rude! Men have no sense of taste", the judgmental feminine tones of Khalifa sounded, as the sound of splashing water reached their ears. "I put a lot of effort into designing my room, thank you very much!" Finally clothed, Khalifa stepped out from behind the dividing screen; to which elicited a excited squeal and another nosebleed from Sanji. The female agent was wearing a skimpy skirt, fish leg stockings, a white blouse and black jacket. As usual her trademark spectacles adorned her face, the only thing different about her this time were the wisps of bubbles floating around her whole body. Chopper grit his teeth and transformed into his lungful point, so he could assist sanji in the inevitable fight. "Ooh my dear lady, how may I prostrate myself today?" Sanji's love struck voice broke through the reindeer doctors mental barrier; 'damn it!' Chopper mused, 'I guess it's down to me'. Khalifa's eyes widened as she saw the tiny reindeer, she had mentally written off, become a tough reindeer humanoid warrior. Instinctively, she threw up her hands creating a shield that resembled a bar of soap, in front of her, up for her to hide behind. Chopper unleashed a volley of punches, which he didn't realise were infused with electricity; due to his heightened resolve, at the woman before him. However, the soap barrier gave his opponent foe the time she needed to escape dodge his attack and land next to a bubble-filled bathtub, from which she scooped up soapy suds and blew them at both males in her room. "I ate the Bubble-Bubble fruit, and now I am the bubble master! Bubble Sheep!"
"That is the stupidest thing I think I've ever seen," Sanji commented, breaking out of his helpless love state, and eyeing the form Khalifa had created with disdain. Khalifa had covered herself in a layer of bubbles mimicking the wool of a sheep, along with a few curly horns atop her head for added affect. "How insulting!" Khalifa yelled. "Take this! Calming Bubbles!" The woman's bubble disguise broke apart, shooting towards sanji and chopper; sticking to them in clumps. Sanji managed to batter some of them away whilst charging forwards at the agent readying a kick but was stopped by a soapy slap to his face, manning him loose all energy to resist, and falling to his knees. Chopper watched in horror as he took in Sanji's slippery and shinny form. Gleaming from soap exposure, and drained of any will to resist the agents murderous intent. "My bubbles have the ability to cleanse anything they touch of nearly anything I please. Grime and dirt, naturally, but also things like willpower, energy, and electricity". From the floor, Sanji managed to kick upwards sending Khalifa flying into the bath of soapy water, too which she screamed out in frustration at having "lost her ammunition".
Pressing her hands onto the floor, amongst the dregs of soapy suds, Khalifa managed to gather enough soap to form "golden bubbles", which she began flinging like stones at Sanji. Only to be suddenly struck by a series of punches from the reindeer. "Cloven hoof! Two point shove!" Khalifa froze in horror as the punches pierced her defences and breaking her skin; bruising and injuring her. Sanji looked away at the sight of a beaten woman, determined to not sully Chopper's victory by failing into his shameless chivalry pro-love for any female mode. "—You'll pay for that..." Khalifa muttered trying to push herself upright but her devil fruit powers and her own blood stained hands making it very difficult to do so. "Yeah somehow I don't think so", Chopper replied. "Captain Luffy will defeat Lucci, and we will rescue Robin. Then we will set sail for the New World!" Sanji walked past khalifa and rejoined Chopper as they made their way out of a side door and off towards the meet up point, with the rest of the crew. All according to the plan, Nami's plan.
However, as the door began to close, the two pirates heard the voice of Khalifa suddenly scream; "What! A buster call, why would the Chief order that when he knew we would be able to to defeat the intruders?" Sanji spun around and reopened the door, hearing the voice of the transponder snail for himself. "I am the Chief of CP9, and with the power and authority granted to me by the Navy, World Government and Five Elder Stars; I issue all marine battleships in the vicinity of Enies Lobby I Call a Buster Call!" Before Sanji could interrogate Khalifa any further; Chopper in his kung fu point, smashed his fists into the walls either side of him, "I won't let the government's cruel Navy bombard my friends!" And with that the reindeer doctor transformed once more; this time his body growing to way over fifty metres tall and smashing through the what remained of of ruined tower of law. The now 'Titan' Chopper made his way took Sanji in his right paw and headed off towards the two awaiting giants; Gerd and Kāshī, who were back at the destroyed gatehouse make sure that no marines got further inside to stop the straw hats from rescuing their friend. "Chopper!" Sanji yelled, waving his hands in front off the reindeers eyes. "This isn't you! I know you want to protect us but you are going to put yourself, Gerd and Kāshī in danger". Slowly, Sanji noted that 'Titan' Chopper's eyes became less red and more brown; signifying he was back in control of himself. Smiling up at his friend, the chef pointed back out to the docks where the only ship big enough for the giants to escape on was moored, "we need to get that ship! We promised the giants that we would hate the outta here, so let's go get them that ship!"
Nearly every building around them was destroyed or disappeared altogether, hinting at the destruction that must Luffy's Dark-Dark powers had plagued upon the town and military districts of Enies Lobby. Shaking his head, Kāshī spotted Gerd swinging her battle axe down upon a bunch of charging marines; sending them careening into the sea. Out of the corner of his eye, he then saw a giant creature with antlers, in red shorts and earring a top hat running towards them. It was only after he recognised the blonde hair of Sanji standing in the creatures left paw that Kashi breathed a sigh of relief, and yelled to Gerd to follow him and the giant Chopper. Grabbing his own sword, he sheathed it behind his back before charging through the mass of soldiers; making an oath for Chopper and Gerd. "The giant pirates will rise again! The government may have killed the previous captains but we, the blood of Elbaf, will never forget the power our kind once held over the seas!". Then with another swirl of his sword, Kāshī released an "Ikkoku Sovereignty" onto to the entire Enies Lobby port, purposely missing one ship; the Ambassadorial, the sole giant warship amongst the navies fleet.
Once reaching the ship, Gerd jumped onboard and placed Sanji and Chopper by the helm before turning and beginning to winch up the anchor, and hoist the sails. Several minutes later Kāshī was onboard and the gangway was raised; yet just as they had begun to sail away, they saw the massive looming shadow of the Gates of Justice moving open. The water parted and the two whirlpools vanished giving a clear path for the now fifteen navy warships to proceed with the Buster Call. As sanji steered the ship, leaving its defence torch giants and Chopper, he noticed a familiar sight sailing towards the Bridge of Hesitation, all worn as battered but still going strong and determined, and just then both chef and doctor heard a small quiet voice. "I'll miss you guys, love you always!"
