Chapter 37: Heart of Ice Pt 1
Within the snowstorm on the mountains north of the capital city of Arendelle, prince Hans and his troops go through the monster infected lands with fire torches in their hands. "My lord, I don't think coming here is a good idea," the soldier said.
"Nonsense, we are here to slay the ice demon within that castle," Hans said. "It's been a whole month since Queen Anna went running into the mountains showing her icy demon powers for everyone to see. Now when I brought her corpse I will be a hero and claim my glory," Hans said.
"I don't think that is going to happen pretty boy," an angelic voice said as the men were swoop by her enchanting voice as a blizzard is engulfing them for Hans is left confused by.
"Don't be fooled, it's one of Elza's ice demons," Hans draws his sword but he hears his men getting picked off in the blinding snowstorm.
Hans feels blood getting onto his uniform as he is holding onto his blade tight as the blizzard ends. He looks on in shock to see all his soldiers were slayed with their heads slice off from the neck and red mixing with the white surrounding him.
"What the hell, what wicked magic is this?" he wondered as an energy sickle cuts through the air and slash into Hans' arm to shed his own blood onto the snow.
"Wicked huh, that is rich coming from you Hans. You think you are such a prince but deep down, you are nothing but a vile beast under those good looks. You will not touch my master," her voice echoed through the mountains as Hans is struggling to hold his bloody arm.
"Well, I will slay Elza and claim my…" Hans sees a flash of a beautiful woman to attack him with lightning speed and be behind him wielding a large scythe. Hans' head slips off for blood shoots onto the white snow as his limp body falls onto the ground.
"Nope, Elza is my mistress's guest and no one will approach this mountain," the woman said.
"Good job Cindy, seems like the Arendelle is getting bold. They should be put in their place, take the Heartless and raze the capital city," Shiva said.
"Yes; Mistress Shiva," Cindy said as she goes over to Hans' corpse to collect his heart which has a lot of darkness within it. "Oh, this will come in handy, you will make a powerful Heartless," Cindy teleports away to assault Arendelle.
Within the snow fields, Kairi and her team manage to reach the world for the freezing winds are making them shiver. "Holy fuck, this is intense, I am freezing my ass off here," Prishe said as Kairi taps her shoulder to cast a heat spell to keep her warm with a small glowing mark left by Kairi's Keyblade.
"There, you should have waited before we got off," Kairi said as Kairi, Aerith and Lightning already got their heat charms on their chest to warm their bodies from freezing.
"Thanks, Kairi," Prishe said sounding relaxed to feel toasty with the spell active. "Oh, it's so warm. I can fall asleep," Prishe said.
"Watch it Prishe, we don't want you sleep walking," Aerith said lightly as Lightning finds Prishe's childlike attitude annoying.
"If she paid attention, she would have to rush into the world like that," Lightning scolded her as Prishe pouts at her.
"Come on Ice Queen. Get off my tits," Prishe said.
"You need to be careful or you can get yourself killed," Lightning said as Prishe is going to punch her but Light dodges it easily with Prishe going face first into the snow.
"Okay you two, calm down. We should be fighting the Heartless, not each other," Aerith said.
"She's right, let's go on our way to find the capital city to gather information on the source of the darkness here and the area," Kairi said.
"Right Kairi," Prishe said.
"Be careful, the darkness is growing on this world. Seek it out and destroy it along with finding the Lux crystal," Umiko said via telepathy.
They go through the frozen forest as they hear explosions in the distance. "What so that?" Aerith asked as they see the main city is under attack by Heartless like Rock Trolls and Frost Serpents along with smaller Heartless.
"Oh shit, they are under attack," Prishe said as Lightning goes out with her Gunblade in hand.
"We need to help them," Light said as the four are running towards the danger with Kairi transforming into her Divine State. She spreads out her bright energy wings to take flight and head for the city.
Meanwhile within the city Anna is trying to get ready to head out but a massive wave of monsters appeared with her being totally confused by this. "Who are these weird creatures," Anna wondered as a Soldier appears to kick her in the chest to knock her onto the ground. "Get away weirdo," Anna grabs a snowball and tosses it at the Heartless but it does nothing.
The Heartless is about to strike Anna down as she shields herself with her arms but she felt nothing for a pink haired woman appears wielding a weird looking sword. "Hey you okay?" Lightning asked.
"Yes, thank you," Anna said as more Soldiers and Air Soldiers lunge towards Anna but Lightning cast Thundaga to kill off all the Heartless with one barrage of lightning bolts.
"Don't mention it, get to cover. Me and my friends will handle it," Lightning said.
"Okay, be careful," Anna said as she goes into a shop to watch Lightning deal with the monster with her turning her Gunblade into a rifle to pop the incoming Heartless in the head killing them instantly. "Wow she seems so strong," Anna said as she is amazed by Lightning swift precise movements taking down the lessor Heartless.
"Ruinga," Lightning lobs a bolt of magical energy to destroy a group of Soldiers as she avoids a Fat Body that was sliding towards her via its belly. "Fire Strike," Lightning cloaks her Gunblade with flames to roll out of the Large Body's path as she slams into its back to kill it into a plume of blackness.
Prishe is leaping on top of the roofs of the buildings to kick the flying Frost Serpents to destroy them. "Pearl," Prishe let out several light orbs to seek their targets to strike their targets to be clouds of black.
She leaps away from a building to dodge a Frost Serpent's ice laser to destroy one of the roofs with Prishe use Banish to use a single bolt of light to take the Heartless down. She jumps above a Frost Serpent and pounce to make it crash onto the snow covered ground below.
She grab it by the neck and tosses it into an incoming Frost Serpent to see them collide to disburse on impact.
A Rock Troll crashes nearby to crush a building to swing its axe with Prishe dodging its strong blows. She strikes the ax to make it recoil backwards. "Auroral Uppercut," Prishe powers up her fist in light energy to leap up and lands her hit to send it flying into the air to disappear.
Aerith is wielding her quarterstaff to deflect incoming physical and magical blows with her defensive spells. "Reflega," she summons a barrier to bounce all them back at the Heartless to knock them down with ease.
"Faith," Aerith is releasing pillars of light to skirt across the ground and slam into groups of Heartless along with a Rock Troll. The Rock Troll jumps towards Aerith ready to split her in half with its ax. "Barrier," Aerith conjures a powerful magic shield as the ax just springs off it without doing any damage.
She makes her barrier explode violently you knock the monster back. She sees several kids who were about to be crushed as she uses her Faith spell to knock it away. "Kids, get out of here now," Aerith said.
"Thank you madam," the girl said to bow her head as the kids run away.
"Thank goodness," Aerith said as she blasts the Rock Troll with potent Light spell to kill it on the spot.
Kairi is flying around to take out nearby Frost Serpents with her spells as she cast Firaga Burst to leave being floating fiery orbs. These orbs spit out fast fireballs to track their targets to destroy the Heartless to clear up the skies.
She cast Reflect to deflect the ice beams back to their source to take them out as she uses Holy Burst to shoot bolts of light to destroy them.
Then a large Demon Tower appears to crash through the wall of the city as Kairi evades to get hit by the very tall tower of Shadows. Kairi gets tossed through a window as she gets back onto her feet to fire several white flames.
Her multiple Holy Flame spells hit their mark for they burn through the hordes of Shadows. She unleash an even bigger Holy Flame to begin to burn through what is left into the Demon Tower to be reduced as nothing.
Anna looks at the four to be very impressed by their combat skills. "Wow, these gals are really something else," Anna said to silently cheer them on from a distance to look up to see a strange person standing above.
"Oh interesting, another Keyblade Wielder. You folks seem to be popping up these days," a woman's voice said as the four look on top of a tower to see a beautiful woman clad in a pale white dress which matched her pale skin and fitting her curvy build especially her overly large breasts.
"What the fuck, who is Miss Busty here?" Prishe questioned to point at her as the woman looks offended by this comment.
"My name is not Miss Busty. I am Cindy, one of the three Magus Sisters. Loyal servants of our mistress Shivver Shiva who will own this world," Cindy said to wield a large scythe with her long twin tails dancing against the icy winds.
"Cindy, she is not a joke. We got three Espers and we got a very strong Esper who is one of the Shiva Tribe," Aerith said sounding worried about this.
"Master, we got a problem. We have four strong Espers here who is the cause of darkness," Kairi said.
"As I thought, four Espers has fallen to darkness. This is not good, you must take care of them as well as finding that crystal," Umiko said.
"Yes, I understand," Kairi said.
"Well you four seems to be pretty tough. So, I have a gift for you all," Cindy conjures a heart above her palm for its consumed by darkness.
Anna is nearby to see the heart to see an image of Hans flash in front of it. "Hans, what did she do to you?" Anna questioned as she rushes in to be beside the four women with Lightning looking at her shocked she is there.
"Hey why are you here?" Lightning asked as Anna puts on a brave face to stare down the Esper woman.
"Oh; sweet Anna, you are so naive. You didn't know this pretty face had a devil behind it," Cindy said as the look of confused dawned on Anna's face.
"What. What do you mean?" Anna asked.
"He only wanted to marry you to become King and then he would get rid of you after the deed from done," Cindy said as her words cut into the princess's heart to shock her very core.
"What, Hans was going to do that," Anna said feeling shaken.
"Correct, now you will see him put on one hell of a show. He wanted to rule Arendelle and now he will become a Heartless to destroy it. Go Skoll, be a good doggy and wipe them out," Cindy said as she teleport away to leave Hans' Heartless which is a large ice wolf with only front legs and a tail to be floating on the ground.
The Heartless howls at the sky as the sky starts to darken by it very presence and the fierce winds growing restless for they beat against the defensive walls of the capital city.
"What is that thing?" Anna is shocked Hans became this monster as the Heartless looks at Anna with pure malice. Skoll fires a beam of ice with both Kairi and Aerith uses a combined barrier to block the shot but its raw power manage to blast it away.
"Damn, this Heartless is so strong. Hans' darkness must be quite vast," Kairi said.
"Anna, get to a safe place and stay there. I want you to stay there," Lightning said to wield her Gunblade.
"Yes, I wish you luck," Anna said as she goes away for the four prepare to defend the city form the large Heartless.
Elsewhere within the castle of Hollow Bastion, Drake is within his personal chambers for he senses his student behind. She has the Keystone in hand to give it to him as he turns around to see something quite unexpected.
"What happened to your body?" Drake asked as he sees half of her face has deep sign of sicky grey skin, her left eye is dry and colored acid yellow and half of her long beautiful black hair has turned brittle and ash white.
"This Lich Magicite that is embedded into my hand has cracked and infused into my body. Half of my body is now a rotting corpse," Ophelia said as Drake goes up and grabs her chin.
"I see, you are still the beauty you were before," Drake said as his deep low voice is making her heart sing and her face flush from his praise.
"Oh master, thank you. Your words were always a bright wisps in my ears," Ophelia said with a big smile on her face. "Sir, I have word of reports of the last Keystones based within the Caribbean and the Wonderous Valley," Ophelia said.
"Good, you need to rest. Rinoa along with Seifer and his gang will go to Wonderous Valley. Also, Yagi and Nazo will go into the Caribbean," Drake said.
"Also, there are Keyblade Wielders that don't belong to us or Umiko. Names are Vanitas and Xion, there could be others who are working them," Ophelia said.
"Indeed, there are other Keyblade Wielders out there. In fact, I remember Umiko managed to train Keyblade trainees in the past before those three we are dealing with now," Drake said as Ophelia raise her white eyebrow.
"Really?" she asked sounding curious.
"Yes, there were two sets of young adults who were her trainees. The first group were consisting of a young man named Lauriam and two young women named Elrena and Strelitzia. The second group were made of two young men named Isa and Lea and a young women named Skuld. They were quite promising but they disappeared over 50 years ago," Drake said.
"Seriously?" she asked.
"Oh yes, there was another group but they were trained under Master Eraqus. There names were Terra, Aqua and Ventus, very talented. My master Xehanort wanted to seek knowledge of the Keyblade War and unlock the mysteries of the past. He seek Kingdom Hearts to create a better world but he was fallen in battle over a hundred years ago by that same trio," Drake said.
"What happened to them and their master?" Ophelia asked.
"Oh, Eraqus was killed by Master Xehanort for trying to stop him from his goals and Terra, Aqua and Ventus after taking down my master, they vanished and never to be heard from again," Drake said.
"I can sense a pattern here," Ophelia asked sounding suspicious as Drake laughs at this.
"Indeed; it does. 9 strong Keyblade Wielders just disappearing into thin air. It does sound suspicious but they never came back up. Trust me, I try to locate them but no luck," Drake said.
"Well, I will deal with them master and we will help make your dream come true," Ophelia said.
"Indeed, me and Xehanort's dreams are one and the same. To unite the worlds into one and making a new world order," Drake said. "Me and my sister want the same thing but we have different methods on how to do that, right Umiko," Drake said as Ophelia goes away in a portal.
Back with Kairi and the others who are fighting off the large Heartless as the wolf smash through a building to knock Prishe into another building. She gets back onto her feet to shoot several light spears at the huge Heartless to dig into its skin to make it moan in pain as it charges at the tower.
Prishe leaps out of the building to land a powerful strike with her fist to knock it into a wall. The monster recovers and hits Prishe with its claw to send her away.
Kairi comes in flying around to avoid the monster's attacks while using several Firaga spells to pepper its body. Skoll slams onto the ground to unleash pillars of ice to knock away Kairi as it follows up with a beam of ice. Kairi uses a barrier to block it but the recoil sends her into the air.
"This thing is quite tough," Kairi thought to regain her balance as she is shooting several more fireballs. Skoll is creating a barriers of ice to protect itself as it scatters the ice walls and launches a wave of ice shards at Kairi.
Aerith shoots a ball of magically energy from her staff to connect with Kairi to make a reflective bubble around her to protect her from the sudden attack. "Thanks, Aerith," Kairi said.
"No problem, keep on the pressure," Aerith said as she is using her light spells to keep the beast on its toes.
Lightning is leaping on the rooftops with her shooting magically enchanted bullets from her Gunblade in rifle mode as well as using Ruinga to smash into the beast.
"Thundaga," Lightning summons a series of lightning bolts to strike at Skoll to stun it. Lightning gathers energy into her Gunblade to send out several orbs of energy to hit their marks to make it recoil.
Aerith casts multiple Pearl spells as she follows up with a powerful Banishga to do some big damage on the Heartless. Aerith traps the beast within a barrier as she made the barrier implode to let Prishe shoot more orbs of light to weaken it further.
"Nullifying Dropkick," she lands on the frosty ground to charge up her foot with magically energy as Skoll summons walls of ice to protect itself. Prishe leaps forward and delivers a dropkick that broke through several ice walls and lands her hit onto Skoll's face to launch it out of the city walls.
Skoll emits a gust of icy wind from its mouth to head for Aerith as she uses a Reflect to scatter the icy shards into the air. "Zero Graviga," Kairi traps the shards into orbs of purple gravitational energy and fling them back popping like grenades on impact.
The attack stun Skoll as Prishe comes into land on blows as she uppercuts the Heartless and kicks it downward on its head to smash it back onto the ground. "Hey Prishe, aim him towards me," Lightning said as she is setting up multiple Gravity Mines.
"You got it Ice Queen," Prishe said as she goes towards Skoll's tail to grab onto it and starts to spin around dragging along Skoll helplessly to stop her. She is using her magically enchanted strength to toss it towards back to the walls right into the trap. All the Gravity Mines pin down the large Heartless with Kairi using a Holy Flame to gravely harm the beast.
Skoll breaks free from the trap and goes high into the sky. "What is it doing now?" Prishe wondered as the wolf transforms into a massive orb of darkness ready to destroy the capital of Arendelle. "Oh fuck, what do we do?" Prishe asked.
"Let's combine our Holy spells and destroy it," Kairi said as she is flying high above with Aerith and Prishe cast their Holy spells as well as Kairi's. The three large balls of light head for the ball of darkness to combine into a bigger ball of light to clash with the huge ball of darkness.
The combined Holy spell manage to destroy the dark orb to see Skoll falling toward the ground. Lightning powers up her blade for the final strike.
"Zantetsuken," Skoll crashes onto the ground s Lightning rushes at the Heartless to unleash a lightning fast motion to appear behind Skoll. Nothing happened for moment until Skoll's head flies off and his body disappears in a dark mist.
The skies clear up to be blue again as Anna looks on in awe at their performance against the monster. "Wow, you guys are so awesome. You are like my new heroines," Anna said to gush over them like a fangirl especially for Lightning. "What are your names?" she asked as she is a deep Interest in lightning.
"People called me Lightning. These are my allies Aerith, Prishe and Kairi. You must be Anna," Lightning said as Anna nods her head.
"Yes, I am grateful for you saving my city. I can't believe Hans became such a monster, I am idiot," Anna said feeling foolish.
"Seems to be," Cindy said to be on top of the top to see the city is in ruins. "Well Hans' new form didn't take the cake on this one," Cindy said.
"What do you want now?" Anna asked sounding angry at her presence.
"Oh, I know you are going to seek out your sister who is a guest of our mistress. Hans was trying to find her but he wanted to kill her instead like the rest of the townsfolks, they all believe your lovely older sister is a demon for causing all this winter and they are right," Cindy said.
"What are you talking about?" Anna demanded.
"Oh, brave little Anna, your sister's ice magic is going out of whack and now soon enough she will be the vessel of my mistress once she losses total control of herself. Bye," Cindy said as Anna rushes at her but Lightning stops her for the Esper disappears into a dark portal.
"No, my sister is in danger. I wanted to go up to the mountains to find her but those monsters were holding me back. I can't fight but you four were very strong and I need help, would you let me your aid?" Anna asked.
"Of course, we will help you out," Kairi said as the others nodded.
"We will do whatever it takes to save your sister," Lightning said as Anna quickly gives her a hug out of nowhere but Lightning doesn't seem to mind it.
"Thank you Light, can I call you Light as a nickname?" Anna asked in a clumsy manner but Lightning finds this charming about her.
"I don't mind at all," Lightning said as Prishe looks on with sheer confusion.
"Hey, why is she so nice to her?" Prishe thought as the guards come by to salute Anna.
"Princess Anna, are you okay. Are you hurt?" the guard asked.
"Oh, you're a princess?" Aerith asked as Anna nods her head.
"Yes, this is my kingdom. Guards, these ladies helped safeguard the capital city. They are my honored guests and should be treated as such," Anna said.
"Yes Princess, your wishes are my command," the guard said.
"Come, let's go to the palace. You can relax there as I get ready to go on my journey," Anna said.
"No problem," Kairi said.
"Oh; this is going to be so cool. It's going to be so fancy," Prishe said as the five go off towards the palace.
Within the ice palace of Shivver Shiva, she is within her chambers to see three women behind her. "So, the mission was a bust on the capital city," she said like as statement as she turns around to see the three Magus sisters knelling before her.
With the first one Sandy who is tall and slender wielding a spear, the second one Cindy who is average height and very curvy wielding a scythe and Mindy who is petite and the youngest to wield twin daggers. All of them wearing white snow colored dresses to fit their certain body types.
"Yep seems like big sister's huge knockers took blood from her brain," Mindy teased as Cindy has a pout on her face.
"My figure has nothing to do with it," Cindy said as she makes her overly busty chest playfully shake for this made Mindy very jealous.
"Thunder Tits," Mindy said.
"Washboard," Cindy said as Sandy looks on with a stern stare to tap her spear onto the icy floor.
"Calm down you two, enough with the teasing," Sandy said as Cindy gets on track.
"Besides, I didn't expect a Keyblade Weidler and three other strong fighters to appear on this world," Cindy said.
"This changes nothing, Elza will soon break and she will be easy for me to take her as a vessel. Protect the mountain path to my castle, we will not make this easy for them," Lady Shiva said.
"Yes, my Mistress," the three sisters said in union to teleport away for a shadow lingers on a mountain top wielding a Keyblade in hand.
"So; Kairi is here, guess I have to check this out," the shadow said as he disappears into the snow covered mountaintops.
A/N: The Magus Sisters are FF summons but they are based on the FF Dimensions 2 versions of them. Also, Shivver Shiva is based on a variant of a dark Shiva called Shivver in World of Final Fantasy.
