Chapter 45: A Pirate's Life for Me Pt 4
The trio got on board the ship with Riku looking serious to stare down Umiko. "Umiko, did you have other trainees before us?" he asked as Umiko raises an eyebrow.
"Where did this come from?" she asked.
"One of Drake's agents mentions more Keyblade wielders and he mentioned you had other trainees before us," Riku questioned.
"Yes, I did have students of the Keyblade like you three. There were Lea, Isa, Skuld, Strelitzia, Lauriam and Elrena. Lea, Isa and Skuld were my first batch of students and Lauriam, Strelitzia and Elrena were my second batch. You three are my third batch of students," Umiko said.
"Where did they go?" Riku asked.
"All six of them disappeared years ago on missions, never found them," Umiko said to take a deep breath. "That is in the past now, I have you three to work with. Maybe after we deal with Drake. We can go find them, more Keyblade Wielders the better to help protect the worlds from other threats with heroes like Cloud and Leon helping us," Umiko said.
"Sure," Riku said as something in the pit of his stomach felt there is something off about this. "Well I have to wait and see how this plays off. We still got Dark Riku, Xion and Vanitas along with their master to deal with," he thought as they go to the pirate HQ to get ready for the final battle with the Beckett and his forces.
Elsewhere within the Hollow Bastion castle, Ophelia is within her bed in her room for she is having a dream of the time when she paid her parents a visit.
-Flashback Begins-
A 17 year old Ophelia is hanging in the shadows under the trees to see her old home still lived in by her mother and stepfather. She walks up to the door to ring the doorbell to have her new Keyblade Spellbinder by her side.
Then her stepfather appears at the door to see young woman clad in a white dress fitting her curves and her long black hair shielding parts of her face. "What the hell, you came back?" he asked as he looks happy to see body filled out over the years.
"Yes, I did," Ophelia points her Keyblade at his crotch and cast a blast of energy to vaporize his penis for the man is howling in pain. He falls onto the ground to shake and turn trying to escape the pain but his suffering was just beginning. "So, you can 'play' with me now father. Play with an innocent girl's virgin and treat it like utter trash," Ophelia said with deep anger with her face now consumed with rage that was bottled up for so long now being unleashed on him and soon her own mother.
"Please have mercy," the stepfather begged as the young woman bash his head with her Keyblade getting blood on it. She sees his skull is shedding red down his face and onto the floor.
"Mercy, you didn't have mercy for a 13 year old girl. You laughed when I beg and cried for you to stop but you like teen pussy too much huh. I am going to enjoy this," Ophelia said as she drinks the fear coming from the older man's eyes. She bashes his head again with her blade to knock him onto the ground. She points her Keyblade at his chest to blow it open to reveal his ribs for she tears out his own beating heart still connected to his body with fleshy cords.
She can feel the heart pulsing in her tiny hand with his fear going to new heights. "Bye," she said coldly as she zaps the heart for the lightning surges into his body for his screams echo throughout the house. His body jerks and shakes uncontrollably with electricity coursing through his body via his exposed heart.
Then she stopped and her stepfather stopped moving for she yanks the heart off it vessels with fresh blood leaking from its openings. "Mom, your daughter is here," she said like nothing happened.
Her mother got up from the noise as she spots her daughter wielding a weird key in her hand drenched in blood. "Ophelia?" she asked.
"Here, he wanted to give his heart to you," she said flatly as she tosses a burned chunk of meat onto her chest. She grabs it and realize it was a burned heart for she drop it to give into terror.
"What is going on, what did you do? she asked in a small voice.
"I got to know daddy more until I put him to bed," Ophelia said.
"Why, just leave me alone," her mother said as Ophelia cast Thunder to give her a painful shock to hear her screaming.
"Like you did, you let that monster rape me because you wanted a boyfriend. You fucking make me sick," Ophelia said in a roaring outburst for she increase the power of the shock as her mother's yells got louder.
"No!" her mother screamed like a bloody banshee for Ophelia increase the power of lightning until she hear a popping sound in her skull.
"Oh, seems like her brain implode from too much electricity. Oh well, they both deserved it," Ophelia said sounding flat again. She cast several fire spells to set the home ablaze to wipe the bad memoires for good.
She goes to her new master waiting for her outside with her whole house now consumed by the flames. "Good, how does it feel to get your revenge?" he asked.
"Great, like a weight taken off my chest," Ophelia said as Drake places his hand on her black hair to stroke it gently. She takes in her master's soft touch with her face glowing red from his praise.
"Now, you will come with me and we will change the future together," Drake said as they teleport away from this world.
-Flashback Ends -
Ophelia get out of her sleep to look at the ceiling. "Ah master, you are my star and without you my life has no meaning. I will go to the ends of the worlds for you, thank you for everything," she said to get into her robes to go head into Drake's room.
Back with Kairi and the others, they manage to reach Shipwrecked Island which has Shipwreck City which is the base of the Brethren Court which is all the leaders of the Pirates all in one location," Faris said.
They come in to see a big city made of pieces of broken ships used as buildings and structures. "This looks so cool," Sora said to look in awe at the sight of the makeshift city.
"It is impressive, what the pirates can do," Lenna said.
"You get quite creative when you are backed into a corner," Umiko said.
"This is a haven for pirates across the Caribbean from the law. The one place a pirate can feel safe in these dangerous times," Faris said as she and Syldra docks with Sora looking at tons of ships surrounding the island.
"They must be building up to the battle with the enemy fleet," Riku said.
"Yes, but I hope its enough," Faris said as she, Lenna, Sora, Riku, Kairi and Umiko get onto land. "Syldra get some rest, you will need it," she said as the sea dragon nodded for she goes into the water.
They go towards the main building where the pirate leadership is held at to see Elizabeth at the door waiting for them. "Oh; good to you all again, did you find what you were looking for," she asked.
"Yep, we got it," Sora said as they go inside for there is a ton of guards protecting them.
"Good, we are talking about strategy," Elizabeth said as Sora looks around to see no sight of Will anywhere.
"Where is Will?" he asked as Elizabeth looks angerly at Jack talking to one of the Pirate Lords.
"Part of Jack's crazy plan, hope it works," Elizabeth said.
"What is the status on the battle plan?" Faris asked.
"Well Barbossa wanted to use the goddess of the sea Calypso who is Tia Dalma trapped in human form against the ETIC fleet," she said as Riku, Kairi, Lenna and Sora were surprised but Umiko and Faris were unfazed by the news.
"I knew there was something weird about that woman," Umiko thought.
"Sounds like a gamble to me, this goddess was sealed away by the former Pirate lords and Davy Jones himself wanted to rule the sea themselves getting rid of Calypso," Faris said.
"Why wound Davy Jones do that?" Sora asked.
"He was in love with Calypso and served her well for many years but something went wrong. Jones felt betrayed when she didn't come for him when gone ashore, so he plotted with the first pirate lords for revenge. He torn out his own heart in grief and became a monster we know today," Faris said.
"Wow, turned his own heart out in grief. I don't know what I would do if Kairi did something like that," Sora said as Kairi goes up to him to kiss him on the cheek and hold his hands.
"I will never betray you Sora, you mean too much to me and we went through a lot together," Kairi said to hold his hands even tighter. "I would rather die than make you sad Sora," Kairi said with her big blue eyes lighting up with passion in her velvet voice.
"Kairi, thank you," Sora said to kiss her back for they both blush.
"Gee, get a room already," Riku teased them.
"I know right, I am jealous of Kairi," Lenna said feeling envious of Kairi's deep connection.
Elizabeth looks at the two to see a lot of herself and Will in Sora and Kairi. "Hey Sora and Kairi, can we talk for a moment in private?" Elizabeth asked.
"Sure," Sora and Kairi said as the three go into another room to sit on chairs.
"Tea," Elizabeth said as they both nodded for she pours a warm brew into the cups for them to drink it. "You know Kairi, you remind me of myself when I was younger," Elizabeth said as Kairi's eyes widen at this.
"Really?" she asked.
"Yes, a young woman seeking love and adventure. I had a stuffy life back at home with my father but I wanted something more. I was always impressed by pirates for they seek freedom above all else, just like you Sora," Elizabeth said.
"Do you still feel that way?" Sora asked.
"Somewhat but I had a naïve version of piracy in my head in the past. Lots of pirates are pure cutthroats who would rape and murder at the drop of a hat but not all pirates are bad. Jack is one of those. Sora you should talk to him, he is on the other side of the building," Elizabeth said.
"Cool I will be back," Sora said as he goes with Elizabeth looking back at Kairi.
"You know he reminds me of Will when we were little," Elizabeth said.
"Oh, how did you two meet each other?" Kairi asked.
"Well I was on a ship along with my father. Then they noticed a burning ship in the distance that was attacked by Barbossa and his cursed pirates. A young boy was the only survivor floating into the water, they drag him onto the ship. This is where we first met and it was a life changing event," Elizabeth said.
"Wow, seems like where I met Sora. I was on a beach from the ocean on the island he lived on, he helped me out of the water and grew up with him," Kairi said.
"Really you are like Will in reverse, that is quite funny," Elizabeth said as they found kindred spirts in each other.
Sora meets up with Jack in another room to him playing with his compass. "Ah mate, we are going to need your magic powers, this is going to get quite rough out there with Beckett and his forces," Jack said.
"Hey Jack, I was wondering about something," Sora said with Jack showing him a friend grin.
"Shoot and spit mate," Jack said.
"Why did you become a pirate in the first place?" Sora asked to sound curious.
"Firstly, called me Captain Jack Sparrow and secondly its in the family blood. My father is a captain and I wanted to follow in his footsteps to become captain of my own ship. For years I tried to be that but it didn't work out. I went into honest work to be part of the East India Trading Company as a captain of my own ship Wicked Wench," Jack said as Sora looks dumbfounded.
"Wait, you worked with Beckett and his company?" Sora asked.
"Yes, it was good for awhile until Beckett wanted me to import African slaves onto my ship but I refused," Jack said feeling dirty about it.
"That is awful," Sora said sharing his disgust.
"Indeed mate, I hold freedom above everything else and slavery is a line I never cross. Beckett forces me to ship 200 slaves to the Bahamas for his supervisor. Shortly after I set the slaves free and put them on an island to be picked by others to go far away but Beckett caught md and made me pay a price," Jack said as Sora looks on to be impressed by his morals.
"So, what happened?" he asked.
"Well in spite, he let me watch as his ships destroyed my precious ship. I got loose of their grip and went into the ocean trying to save it but it was in vail. I was struck underwater between life and death flashing before my eyes. I uses a spell to summon Davy Jones, I wanted him to save my ship exchange for my soul within 13 years. Now we are here now both Beckett and Davy Jones coming to the climax of this tale," Jack said.
"I want to help you Jack, you need to settle this," Sora said as Jack grinned at this.
"You remind me of me in my youth seeking adventure and getting away with the thrills," Jack said.
"Aye Captain," Sora said with a salute
"That is the spirit mate, time to go into the meeting room and see what the plan is," Jack said as everyone go into the big chamber to see all the pirate lords.
"Well who will be the Pirate King to led us?" Barbossa asked as everyone is shouting trying to be the Pirate King.
"Pirate King?" Sora asked.
"Its someone who will lead our unified pirate forces into battle but since we are all pirates. Everyone wants the position for themselves," Faris said as soon everyone is getting into a brawl with Barbossa pulling out a pistol and shooting it into the air.
"Enough, we should be focusing on fighting Beckett before killing off ourselves," Barbossa said.
"How about Elizabeth, she can be the Pirate King," Jack said as everyone thought about until everyone nods their heads at this. "Fine, Elizabeth you are the commander of the combined pirate forces now," Jack said as Elizabeth's eyes widen to blue and white saucers.
"But Jack, this is sudden," Elizabeth looked flustered at this heavy burden.
"No take backs lass, you wanted to be top pirate and now it's your chance. Oh; don't bugger it up by the way," Jack said with a cheeky smile as Elizabeth sighs at this.
"Lucky bitch, wish I can be the pirate king," Faris said to pat Elizabeth on the back. "Good luck with that," Faris said.
"Why is this important?" Sora asked.
"Well the Pirate King is the elected leader of the Pirate Brethren Court, there has only been two in existence. The first one was the one who sealed Calypso in her human form beside Elizabeth has proven herself to be a leader of the pirates," Faris said.
"Well we got to meet with Beckett, Davy Jones and Will at the meeting point before the battle begins," Jack said with everyone getting ready for the final battle for the age of piracy.
Within several hours Tia Dalma is chained onto a mast with everyone keeping an eye on her. Umiko can sense her anger deep within her as she watches her as well. "So, you were a goddess the whole time?" Umiko asked as they awaited with Elizabeth, Barbossa and Jack on a sandbar meet with Beckett.
"Well we both hold dark secrets," Tia said as Umiko raises at this.
"What are you getting at?" Umiko asked with her Keyblade at her side.
"I can see into the past and future of all I lay eyes upon and all I see with you is nothing but pain and misery. Obsessed with owning to the dream of your now dead master Xehanort," Tia said as she got a reaction out of her as she puts the Keyblade to her head.
"I see you are not bluffing," Umiko said.
"Oh, trust me once they break the seal, I will unleash the raw power of the sea itself onto everyone," Tia said with a wide smile.
"I will stop you when that happens," Umiko said for Tia laughs at her.
"Really, I am the goddess of the whole ocean. What can you do Dark Elf?" she questioned as Umiko emits raw magical power from her body.
"Oh, I have killed gods before and I will do it again if you screw up," Umiko said like a threat.
"We will see," Tia said as Sora, Kairi and Riku look on to see the six parting ways with Will coming with Elizabeth and Jack going with Beckett.
"Let's hope Jack knows what he is doing," Faris said as Lenna checks on Syldra who is at the front of the ship.
"We are set to go," Lenna said with Faris at the helm to see Will and Elizabeth on the Black Pearl with Barbossa at the helm.
"Well time for the final battle. There is over a 300 EITC ships with 500 Heartless ships along with the Flying Dutchman with only 100 pirate vessels, not good odd," Riku said.
"Syldra can rip through those like knife through warm butter," Faris let Syldra loose to order her to fight the enemy ships to swim towards the enemy.
On the Black Pearl, Umiko looks at Barbossa and the others performing a mystic chant to break the sea goddess's binds to free her from her fleshy prison.
Barbossa and the crew back away as Tia aka Calypso has a smile on her dark face. Her body begins to grow in height stretching to the very top of the mast of the ship. Suddenly she burst into a huge pile of white crabs that fall back into the ocean.
"Free, free at last. Now I will have my revenge against the humans who imprison me," Calypso's voice boomed throughout the area for a storm suddenly appeared with a huge whirlpool in the middle of the fleet.
"Its all or nothing, engage with the enemy fleet for freedom," Elizabeth said as all the pirate ships engaged with the enemy fleet.
"Everyone support Jack, he is on to something," Umiko command through her mental link for the trio nodded.
"Faris, get close with the Black Pearl to fight the Flying Dutchman," Riku said as Faris had the sails at full catching the winds.
"Good thing I put sails here, let's go," Faris said as Syldra is fighting the fleet with her blowing hulls with her potent spells.
Umiko can sense a powerful presence for Calypso remerges out of the water to be in a serpent dragon form with her large head looking at Umiko on the Black Pearl. "I know what you are and you can't fool me unlike the other three," Calypso's voice echoed as she emits a powerful roar that shaken up the Black Pearl.
"What is going on?" Will asked.
"Calypso has gone rouge and wants to kill everyone here. I will stop her before that happens, keep going towards the Flying Dutchman," Umiko said as she goes right into her High Elf State with her triangle shaped runes on her body and under her red gown. Her eyes and long hair turn shining blue with her Keyblade pulsing with mystic power.
"Okay, good luck," Will said as Umiko creates a barrier to block the incoming water beams with ease.
"Trust me, I don't need luck to kill her," Umiko said as she freezes section of the ocean to see the snake like serpent leap towards Umiko. "Stopza," she freeze the Goddess in place as she is firing Flares into on her body to cause lots of damage giving Calypso pause at her impressive power.
"How can you harm me?" she asked sounding puzzled as Umiko fires another Flare to knock her into an enemy ship. "I will not be made into a fool," Umiko blocks another water beam to see more whirlpools in the ocean with her teleporting onto another ship which is a Heartless ship covered with the black monster.
Umiko felt the Heartless ship getting sucked into the whirlpool with her using pieces of the busted ship to telekinetically throw them at the big sea dragon.
Calypso dodges them by diving into the water with Umiko casting Magnet Grab to lift her head with a ball of energy out of the water. She flings a broken mast to impale into her body with blood pouring onto the ocean.
"I know about your future Umiko and it's not pleasant for anyone but yourself," Calypso said in a mocking tone as she summons a water twister to smash into the broken ship.
Umiko creates a block of ice to use as a surfboard with her turning her Keyblade into a staff as she is using Refleza to deflect the incoming water beams back at Calypso. Umiko uses magic to skirt across the ocean to ride the rough waves of the powerful storm around them like a natural.
Umiko flip over an incoming tidal wave Calypso as she fire several spears of magic lightning to tear into her dragon's body to see sections of the sea becoming red. "Time to try this, Doublecast," Umiko unlock further into her magical essence.
"Thundaza + Thundaza, Megavolt," Umiko uses the wave to lift high into the air as she summons a massive bolt of lightning to break through the stormy skies and strike the ocean around Calypso.
The single lightning bolt manage to vaporize a huge section of ocean destroying over 20 EITC and 30 Heartless ships at once while Calypso's scales suffer intense burns and pieces of her body is missing.
"Damn it, how can a mortal be so strong," Calypso looks up to see a brief hole made from Umiko's spell for the storm resumes getting worse as the battle pushes forward.
"Doublecast allows me to combine two spells and make a new more powerful spell like Megavolt. Quite handy but only the best of Elven spellcasters use this along with its stronger variant Tricast," Umiko thought as she launches herself onto another ship with the Pirate's fleet and Beckett's fleet fighting all around her.
Umiko runs up the mast of the ship with the sea goddess using her tail to smash into the EITC's ship. Umiko jumps to combine two spells again.
"Graviza + Graviza, Black Hole," Umiko spins herself around like a top as she floats into the air. She is in the center of a black orb as everything is being suck into the black void pulling the giant sea serpent into its tight grip unable to escape.
Over 30 enemy ships got destroyed by the spell as Umiko tosses the black sphere to smash into Calypso to pin her in place. Umiko lands onto another ship to use her Doublecast again. "Megaflare + Megaflare, Sunburst," Umiko creates a huge ball of white hot flames above her head.
Calypso shoots a massive beam of water to cut through several ships to head for Umiko as she release her spell. The Sunburst hits the beam but instantly turn it into mist due to its extreme heat. The spell collides into Calypso for a massive blast of fire that let out a burning flash that vaporize the surrounding stormy clouds leaving an opening for light to shine through.
The goddess is looking at the dark elf with some fear in her eyes as her storm close the hole with the sea becoming more enraged.
"You bitch, I will make you suffer," Calypso look at the Sailfish to begin charging up a powerful attack from her maul.
"Oh crap," Riku said as the trio transform into their powered states along with Lenna combine their powers to create a large barrier to block the incoming attack. They were able to hold it for a moment as their barrier failed and the Sailfish got half of it destroyed.
"Damn it, there goes my ship," Faris said as she is close to her sister looking at the horror of the raw power of the sea goddess Calypso. "Calypso is very powerful, your master is making it look easy fighting her," Faris said.
"She is fighting another water beam at us," Riku said as they brace for another one with Syldra popping out of the water.
"Syldra, don't do it," Faris said as Syldra unleash her power to fire a large beam of lightning to collide with Calypso's attack.
The two massive sea dragon are trying to outpower the other with Umiko trying to get there by she got hold back a massive Demon Tide blocking her path to them. Syldra is trying her best but is getting push back by Calypso's raw power. The sea serpent looks back at her old friend for Faris noticed Syldra seem to be at peace knowing what is about to happen.
Calypso manage to kill off Syldra in a single water beam as the sea dragon disappears for her Magicite falls onto the broken deck of the Sailfish. "Syldra, why!?," Faris's brave face is been destroyed as she falls onto her knees to hold onto her Magicite weeping for her defeat.
"She wanted to save us, to save you," Lenna said trying to be brave for her big sister.
"Oh no, she is going to fire again and we can't block it," Riku said as Umiko uses a Megaflare to wipe out the huge Demon Tide with little effort. She teleports onto the broken Sailfish to get in the middle of the five.
"Hold on, Refleza + Refleza, Mirror's Edge," Umiko creates a single magical wall in front of them to deflect the powerful water beam back at Calypso with twice the speed and power to strike at the giant sea dragon. Umiko teleports them back to the Black Pearl to see Will, Elizabeth and Barbossa doing something odd while they are fighting off Heartless, Beckett's Marines and Jones' crew.
"What is going on here," Lenna said as Will and Elizabeth are kissing with Barbossa holding a book in his hand.
"We got married by Barbossa," Will said as Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lenna, Faris and Umiko look at them like they were total morons.
"I don't think this is the right time for this," Riku said as Will looks deeply into his new wife's eyes.
"There is no other time after this," Will said as the plan is coming into play with them close to the Flying Dutchmen with Jack and Davy Jones fighting over the Dead Man's Chest.
Calypso appears as her body is gravely damaged by Umiko's magical onslaught she still going on a rampage to kill Umiko. "Time to end this, Tricast," Umiko's body is heighten further allowing her to combine three spells into an even more powerful spell.
Everyone cleared out all the enemies on the Black Pearl as Umiko prepares for her final spell. "Megaflare + Holy + Ultima, Trinity Blast," Umiko conjures a huge ball of magical energy for it spits out a barrage of smaller orbs to strike at Calypso peppering her body until she is a bloody mess. "This is the end," Umiko flings the big ball of mystic energy at the sea dragon to score a hit to instantly kill the goddess with the entire ocean shaken by the powerful spell. She knells onto the wooden deck to reverts to normal to feel very sore and tired. "So sleepy," Umiko said wanting to just lay down.
"Well you earn it for sure," Lenna said as they were already at the Flying Dutchman with Will, Elizabeth, and Jack fighting Davy Jones. Sora and the others go in to help but Davy Jones is about to hit Elizabeth. Then Will goes in to protect her but he gets hit by his claw to knock him down.
Then Elizabeth's heart stops to see Will get stabbed in the heart. "Will!" she shouted to be in total shock to see Will bleeding out from his stab wound beginning to die.
Davy Jones looks on with victory in his mind. "Tell me William Turner. Do you fear death?" Davy Jones asked.
"Do you?" Jack helps Will stab the heart in the chest. Davy Jones holds onto his chest to feel intense agony and death about to claim him.
"Calypso," Davy Jones utters his last words as he falls over the edge of the ship to merge into the sea he has been in love with from the beginning. Soon the storm cleared up and the clear blue sky appeared.
"Will," Elizabeth is panicking with Jack using a knife to crave out Will's beating heart and putting it into the Dead Man's Chest.
"Let's get out of here," Jack said as Elizabeth wants to save him but Jack holds her back.
"I will not leave him," she urged.
"I know what I am doing trust me, its all part of the plan," Jack said as Elizabeth wants to believe him for everyone got back onto the Black Pearl to see the Flying Dutchman fall into the sea along with Will dragged along with it.
"Will," Elizabeth said a Kairi pats her on the back.
"I have a good feeling he is alive," Kairi said trying to comfort her.
"Time to deal with Beckett now and end this nightmare," Barbossa said to steer the Black Pearl right for the flagship where Beckett is housed.
"Ah right on time," Beckett prepared his men to fire the guns when the Black Pearl is in range. "I get to sink that ship twice. It's nothing personal, Jack. It's just good business," Beckett said as he sees the Flying Dutchman merge out of the water with Beckett smiling thinking Jones still controls the ship.
With Will at the helm of the Flying Dutchman and all his crew have return to their human states along with his father. Both ships are about to flank the EITC flagship with broadside attacks for Beckett's face went from bold to sheer dread at the double cross.
"It's just...good business," Beckett's last words for his ship was tear to pieces by the cannonballs with him dying with his ship at the bottom of the ocean.
The pirate has won the fierce battle, they lost half their fleet with Beckett's armada losing almost all their ships from the chaos of Umiko's and Calypso's battle.
"So, what now?" Sora asked.
"Well my boy Will has become the captain of the Flying Dutchman and he is duty bound to collect the souls of the sea for all time," Gibbs said as Sora and Kairi were surprised by this.
"This is your plan Jack?" Elizabeth demanded sounding upset by this.
"Well we have no chance; Will would have died if he didn't become the captain of the Flying Dutchman. This is something he wanted to save his father, clear my debt and saved you at the same time, savvy?" Jack questioned.
"No, I don't get it, what happens to Will now?" Elizabeth asked Gibbs.
