Destiny Of Merida Bogo Chapter 32

They've hit the ultimate mother load of jackpots.

Everything Judy, Merida, and Nick could've ever hoped to find that could link to the cases of predators going savage all around Zootopia is right in this supposedly abandoned subway train car.

Briefly peeking inside it's quickly deciphered that no one is currently occupying the space. Judy and Nick sneak inside through a partially cracked open window, unlocking the door to permit Merida entrance inside. Merida relocks it immediately again afterwards so Doug any anyone else who might arrive at this makeshift lab won't have a clue that others have broken into the space.

Turns out Weaselton's tip was spot on.

In the section of the lab there are scores and scores of Night Howlers being grown all over the place.

"The weasel wasn't lying," whispered Judy.

"Yeah, looks like Old Doug's cornered the market on Night Howlers," said Nick, ears pressed against his head in unease.

Keeping low because of her height, not wanting to take any chances on losing any of this, Merida extracts a digital camera she has come to keeping on her for emergency's like this and snaps a procession of fast pictures without the flash going off to give them away.

Suddenly out of the corner of her eye Merida notices movement from outside the lab.

"Someone's coming," she warned.

Seconds later the door on the other end of the subway train car opens and Doug walks in with his back facing in their direction.

This grants Nick, Judy, and Merida a small opening to conceal themselves properly.

Nick and Judy take shelter under a table filled to capacity with Night Howlers. Merida is hiding in an nearly empty utility supply closet. From these spots the trio watch as Doug then processes Night Flower petals and converts them into a serum that's contained in a small glass ball, giving it the appearance of a blueberry.

In the middle of all this Doug gets a call. It draws him away long enough with the distraction that allows Nick and Judy to move forward towards where Merida is hiding.

"You got Doug here. What's the mark," said Doug, receiving instructions as he's loading a tranquilizer gun with the serum. "Cheetah in Sahara Square. Got it. Serious? Yeah, I know they're fast. I can hit him. Listen, I hit a tiny little otter through the open window of a moving car. Yeah, I'll buzz you when it's done. Or you'll see it in the news. You know, whichever comes first."

Doug then puts the tranquilizer dart gun in a sealed case for transport. There's banging on the door showing the arrival of more accomplices.

"Hey Doug, open up!"

"We've got your latte!"

"Woolter and Jesse are back so I'm leaving now. Out," said Doug, hanging up to let the others in.

Merida now gets a clear glimpse of the board he'd been standing in front of here. Here are pictures of every single person who has been affected by the Night Howlers and the districts that they were a part of. After eavesdropping on his conversation with whoever is really in charge of this entire operation things make a whole lot more sense now. Mr. Big had mentioned that Emmett Otterton had called about an urgent matter saying he needed to talk to him face to face. Otterton must've accidentally come across what was going on here and then before he could tell anyone he was silences by Doug unable to warn anyone of the danger. Then the exact same thing happened to Mr. Manchas when he was talking to them. Silenced by those in charge here to prevent him from telling what he knew.

All the pieces are coming together, but the mystery still lies about whoever is the boss is.

That can be learned later. Right now everything and I mean everything has to be brought in as evidence and Merida has a pretty good idea on how to get it there.

Merida and Judy lock eyes and nod in unison having along the lines the same plan should it go off without a hitch.

This should be fun.

Authors Note:

Hope you all like this one! I certainly did while writing it for your vast enjoyment! ;D

I've been meaning to get back to this one for a while and only now I've managed to find time and inspiration for it. I'm very satisfied and happy about it.

I recently put up some other works I've put out at titled Secret Of Bristol Cove, Predators Redemption, A Revolutionary Romance, Fantine Tezla: Hot Wheels Acceleracers, Magic And the Brave Little Toaster 1, Lavinia: Princess Of Edelweiss, Rorschach's Legend, Watchmen Meets Avengers: The Newest Defender, The 8th Loser, Naomi Poldark: Mistress Of Nampara, Serenity: End Guardian To The Moors, Dido Cruger: Power Rangers SPD, and Nuala: The White Lioness. I highly recommend them. ;D

By the way Rorschach's Legend. Mandalorian: The 2nd Foundling, Eira Byrnison, and Watchmen Meets Avengers: The Newest Defender are the newest additions to my profile. If you're a fan of the Golden Compass and Watchmen which are the new series on HBO then you will love these. Then if you haven't saw them yet then I recommend that you check it out. Since there are still just recently uploaded I really would enjoy hearing other peoples thoughts on the subject matter so far. So feel free to do so if you have the time.

I have other grand news! I was a patron at New York Comic Con! Ah! I'd been dying to go for years and now I had the opportunity. The Jokers from Impractical Jokers have been here along with Tom Hiddleston and so many others. Over those few days I actually got my picture taken with a couple of other actors/actresses and some really great panels. It really is so exciting there. This is an opportunity of a lifetime so there's no way in hell that I was going to waste a single second of it. No one ever should with something like this. Ever! ;D

For future preferences I highly recommend that you all keep an eye out for when tickets for New York Comic Con are available for purchase again for next year. This is a huge event and you should jump on it whenever you have the chance.
