Chapter 49: Xehanort's Legacy Pt 1
Drake is on top of a building within Traverse Town along with Ophelia looking at the museum. "The Keystones are storage in that building, sir," she said.
"Good, we will go inside. In the meantime, set up the generators," Drake ordered as Ophelia summons four generators around the town to make an impossibly strong barrier to entrap the museum inside. Umiko is within the building to look over the Keystones within the basement for she senses Heartless and her brother nearby.
"Drake," Umiko summons her Brightcrest Keyblade to see both Ophelia and Drake wielding their Keyblades.
"Hello sister, you seem to be good at baiting people," Drake whips out his Ends of Pain to let out a blast of lightning with Umiko leaping away from it but gets hit by Ophelia's Spellbinder Keyblade.
"Stopga," she freezes the Elven Keyblade Master with Drake transforms his Keyblade into gauntlets and shin guards. He pounds his fist into her stomach and kicks her in the head. The impact launches her into the air but she regains her balance to let out several Waterga spells with Ophelia uses a Reflect spell to bounce her spells back,
Umiko makes a barrier to block them from harming her. Umiko looks at Ophelia to see half of her body looks very ghoulish and she smells of sweet rot. "What happened to you?" she asked.
"Like you care, traitor. You only look out for yourself," Ophelia said as she sends out a barrage of Balloonga spells to destroy sections of the massive basement which is like a warehouse.
"Indeed, you manage to fool all those people to fight for your cause which they have no full understanding of. How sad," Drake said as he is dueling Umiko as he weaves through her sword swings to punch her in the gut and kick her on the forehead to launch her across the room. "Unlike you, I fully put them through the trail of fire and they know what is at stake. You always hide in shadows which is why Xehanort always sees you as the favorite," Drake said as he and Ophelia continues the fight as Heartless swarm the whole town.
Meanwhile Squall is in the hotel and kicks down the door to see Sora and Kairi already in their gear. "Heartless are attacking in mass, we need to clear them out," Squall said.
"Where did they come from, there so many of them," Kairi said as they meet Riku and Terra in the hallways with them already to fight back.
"I think Drake is coming to us," Riku said as several Neoshadows, Large Bodies, and Fire Plants appearing within the hallways of the hotels.
"Here too," Sora said as the five go in to engage the Heartless.
"What the hell Squall, they are everywhere within the town," Cid said on the radio.
"What is going on out there Cid?" Squall asked to dodge a kick from an incoming Neoshadow to slice off its head to see black liquid shooting from its neck slot onto the walls.
"There is a huge energy dome protecting the museum where the Keystones are held and Umiko is trapped inside as well," Cid said as he is wielding his spear to stab into a Large Body with him moving through hordes of lessor Heartless to cut them down.
"It seems to be four generators that are powering up the barrier. We need to deactivate the generators but four very powerful Heartless are guarding it. Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh and Titan are the ones guarding them," Yuffie said as she tosses her large shuriken to slice through groups of Heartless.
"Okay thanks Yuffie, new plan. Guys, you each will target a generator. Yuffie will give you the locations," Squall said as he casts Firaga to destroy a Large Body with ease with Sora, Riku, Kairi and Terra get their orders from Yuffie to go after them.
Sora goes through the large groups of Heartless to go after Titan with him in his Speed State as he is moving at high speed looking like a blur from a distance. He is jumping and bouncing off the walls of the buildings to both avoid attacks and tear through Heartless with his twin punching daggers.
"Tornado," Sora swings both of his weapons to unleash a large twister to tear through enemies with a fireball hitting Sora in the chest to launch him into a building. He crashes through a window to land on a bed to see a Runemaster Heartless appearing about to cast another spell.
"Reject," a sword impales into its back with Noctis teleporting behind it and slicing its head off. "Yo Sora, you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, thanks Noctis," Sora said as he leaps out of the building for both Sora and Noctis tag team against more Heartless with Sora using his speed and Noctis teleporting around to crave through the hordes of Heartless. They approach Titian who is quite noticed in the distance looming over the town like a lumbering mountain.
"This guy is huge," Noctis said as he tosses his blade into a hovering a Wyvern to warp up and slice it up with him casting Thundaga to destroy several Neoshadows.
"Indeed," Ignis appears with him wielding twin daggers to be empowered by magic to stab onto the ground to let out a wave of ice to freeze groups of lessor Heartless into ice statues.
"Coming through," Prompto leaps over Sora to draw out his revolver to empower his shots with magic to line up his bullets to take out sections of Heartless at once.
"Down Below," Gladiolus wielding his large great sword to fall from the sky and slam onto the street to smash all of them with a big shockwave.
"The boys are here to kick some Heartless ass," Prompto said as he fires incoming Air Soldiers and Wyverns with his handgun.
"We got your back Sora," Noctis said as the five slam their way through the near endless onslaught of Heartless.
"Sora, need a lift," Gladiolus grabs Sora's legs to spin him and himself like a top with Sora's hands stretch out with his daggers in front. They slice through mobs of lessor Heartless as Gladio toss him at the large group with Sora spinning like a drill torn through the enemies like wet butter.
Suddenly walls of stone erupt out of the streets to block their path to Titan. "Things are getting more serious," Ignis said as he tosses several magical daggers to strike the stone wall to make a magical circle of empowerment. "Prompto," Ignis said as Prompto reloads his sidearm.
"You got it chief," Prompto fires a magic bullet to strike the empowerment circle to make the bullet even more powerful to smash through several stone walls.
"Sora," Noctis said as both him and Sora using their speed and teleport to cut down multiple stone walls with Gladiolus is tackling through several more stone walls. Then Gladio takes two boulders in each hand use his monstrous strength to fling them destroying the remaining stone walls.
"No sweat," Gladiolus said as they see the massive Heartless which looks like a living mountain for it stomps its feet to unleash multiple Quake spells to split the streets and buildings of Traverse Town.
Sora uses his Power State as he punches a nearby earth spike to knock it into Titan but it shows now damage at all. Titian powers up its rocky fist and heads for Sora and Gladiolus. The Heartless hits its mark but both manage to catch the huge fist to make them push back.
Ignis and Prompto use elemental ice attacks with spells and ice infused bullets to freeze the rocky hand. Both Sora and Gladio uses their sheer strength to smash the fist into pieces. Titan lets out a powerful roar to see rock spikes destroy sections of the town with them dodging its attacks.
Sor uses his Mage State with him, Ignis, and Noctis use magic to barrage the stone skin of the lumbering monster bur doesn't do any real damage.
"Noctis, get close," Ignis throws his daggers to impale upward onto the body of the Heartless.
"Thanks," Noctis uses the daggers' magic to home in with his warping to go up higher with each avoiding spikes coming out of its rock body. Prompto aims for the impaled areas with each shot cracking its rocky armor.
"The venom is working," Ignis said as his magical poison tipped daggers are weaken the massive Heartless's super tough hide.
Noctis teleports above the head of the mountain sized Heartless. "Waterga," Noctis cast beams of water to shred into the head of the beast to make it back away,
"Sora and Gladiolus, target the areas where I place my daggers. Venom Fangs," Ignis uses his magic throwing daggers to hit the legs and chest.
"Alright," Sora and Gladiolus nod their heads as they head for the weaken Titan with several waves of stone spikes destroying buildings and streets. The daggers strike the areas with the magical poison weakening the target zones.
"Balloonza," Sora makes several large water orbs to fling them at the chest of the huge Heartless as the spells burst with smaller orbs slamming into its chest. Sora's spells manage to further weaken the Heartless.
"Grave," Gladiolus drives his great sword into the ground to let out a wave of stone spikes to tear into the left leg of the beast to make it fall onto its back. Sora falls towards the head with him becoming Power State to empower his fist.
"Dragon Dive," Sora drives his fist into the head letting out a fiery blast to destroy it as Titan fades away in a black mist clearing out the area but it was reduced to ruins.
"That was close," Sora said as Noctis pats him on the back.
"Good work Sora, we make a good team," Noctis said as the others nods in respond.
"Thanks, let's shut this generator down," Sora said as they look over to see a weird black organic blob. "This is the generator, this looks weird," he said as Gladiolus smash it with his large sword.
"Its dead now," Gladio said as they continue to support the defense of the town,
Elsewhere Kairi is in her Divine State to fly over the buildings to use Light spells to purge the groups of Heartless. A large Phoenix Heartless uses its wing to bash Kairi knocking her back onto the ground.
"Holy," Luna fires a ball of light to strike down the large Heartless as she fires more balls of light to purge it away to check on Kairi. "Kairi, are you okay?" Luna asked for she is wielding her trident.
"Yes, I am okay," Kairi said as Luna noticed her hair is glowing blond and her bright angel wings.
"Come on, Ramuh is our target," Luna said as she protects them with a Reflect barrier to deflect the fireball back at the Phoenix. The Heartless bird slaps the fireball away with its wing.
"Let's just say we are going to have more problems sooner than later," Kairi said as they roll out of the way for the beast regains air. The Heartless swoops down missing them but laying out firebombs under its large wings blowing entire buildings with the people going into a deep panic.
"We have to finish this thing fast or more people will get hurt," Luna seeing the destruction this Heartless alone is unleashing.
"Agreed, time to bring this thing down," Kairi rushes towards a flagpole and swing herself towards the beast to gain air to use her wings to go further into the air. She charges up her blade as she bores through the left wing of the Heartless making yelp in pain for it to be forced to land on the ground.
Luna dodges the lunges from the Heartless's arrow-like head for it to spit fireballs from its beak. Luna is her defensive spells to protect against the fiery orbs for them to set off fire pillar blowing her up. Luna hits the wall while Kairi catches her in her arms.
"You alright, Luna?" Kairi asked for her white dress has some burns and wear.
"Yeah, thanks," Luna said as Faris comes in and ducking under the bird's wing as she delivers several slashes to its body. Faris bats away a few fireballs but gets hit with one sending her bouncing across the stone pavement to regain her footing.
"I got your back, Flame Spear," Faris calls out her spell as a fiery energy lance pierce into the back of the Heartless for it to explode blowing a chuck of the body. Lenna comes in with her using an energy barrier to block the incoming stream of fire for Luna and Kairi regain their balance.
"I will help as well," Lenna begins to draw a magic line around the bird with Kairi, Faris and Luna fighting off the monster with lots of white magic and black magic spells
Lenna finishes her work as she creates a magic sphere trapping the Heartless bird for it makes the barrier implode as the blast badly injures the beast with the three charging up their spells and deliver the finishing blow. Its wings and head burst apart flopping onto the ground killing it instantly as its corpse disappears back into darkness.
"Okay, time to fight Ramuh," Kairi said as the four women go forward to see a tall Heartless in the form of an old male wizard with a long white beard and robes. Ramuh wields its staff to call down a wave of lightning bolts for the women avoid the spells.
The Heartless cast a passive barrier of lightning around it to continue its assault via summoning down lightning bolts at them.
"Firaga," Faris launches ball of flames to strike at the monster but nothing happened. "Shit, its barrier to preventing any sort of damage," Faris said as she got caught in a blast of lightning to send her flying into a building.
"Big sister," Lenna spins her rod around to make barrier to deflect the lightning bolts away from herself. A powerful bolt of lightning slams into Lenna to knock her into a wall.
Ramuh uses another bolt of lightning to deliver a fatal blow but Brina appears to catch the bolt with her sword and deflect it back to the Heartless to land a hit but no damage was taken.
"You okay, Lenna?" the android said as she uses Deflection Blade to bounce the lightning back protecting the white mage.
"Yes, nice save," Lenna said as Ramuh is casting orbs of thunder and spreading them all over the section of town to left behind large craters. . Luna and Kairi cast Curaga to heal their friends while they press on the attack.
"This is madness," Luna said as she, Kairi and Lenna combine their magic to make a powerful barrier to deflect away the Heartless's lightning bolt.
"Make way, Nullifying Dropkick," Prishe comes in to deliver a magical flying kick strong enough to negate Ramuh's barrier to floor up with a series of Banishga spells to pepper it into the ground. "Raging Fists," Prishe is unleashing a barrage of fast strong blows to push the Heartless back with each hit until she lands a mighty blow to send it flying into a building.
"Prishe," Kairi said to have a smile on her face for the dark elf.
"I am not letting you take all the glory," Prishe said as the Ulmia is nearby to empower the others with the sound of her beautiful voice for their morale is greatly increased. "Oh, Ulmia is here to give us a big boost with her magic voice," Prishe said as Kairi feels her power surge with the Heartless looks like it's getting weaker.
"What is this?" Kairi asked as the Ramuh's attacks and spells seem to be getting slower.
"Her magical voice can boost our morale while slowing down the enemy, very handy," Faris said as she is blocking incoming lightning bolts to note they're not as potent as before.
Kairi spread out her wings to cast Holy and land a powerful blow to knock the beast backwards. "Holy Flame," Kairi fires a small flame to land on Ramuh's chest for its engulfed in a huge pillar of white flames to burn it out of existence.
"Good work," Ulmia said to stop her singing for they see the weird looking generator and shut it down.
"Okay, time to aid the others in defending the town," Brina said as they go off.
Back within the Museum's basement area, the Keyblade Masters were fighting a fierce battle shaking up the whole warehouse area.
Umiko clash with Ophelia as Umiko blows the human away with a wind spell with Drake kicking Umiko in the head to knock her into a wall. "You and I would rule the worlds together but you went your own way. I know you want, what I want, its quite sad they don't know," Drake said.
Umiko uses her High Elf state to knock back both with an Aeroza. "Take this, Double Cast. Aeroza + Waterza, Typhoon," Umiko conjures an overwhelming gust of water and wind to head for Drake and Ophelia.
Drake only smirks to show no fear. "Null Magic," Drake emits a cloak of energy around him for he steps against the spell and nothing happened. "It is impressive but I have ways to make that form of yours useless," Drake goes in and punches through Umiko's barrier like it didn't exist and hit her in the face.
Umiko looks dumbfounded as Drake grabs her leg to smash her onto floor multiple times until he tosses her into the air. Ophelia fires a Flare to knock her out of the air and land onto a pile of crates.
"Null Magic, that is very rare technique and hard to master. With his Null Magic active, he is immune to all magic spells. He still is vulnerable to physical attacks or the aftereffects from my spells," Umiko trying to think of a new approach to charge up her magic to slam onto the ground to let out a shockwave to knock Drake and Ophelia away.
"I don't need High Elf state to kill you and you know it," Drake said as Umiko groans at that statement for she continues to protect the Keystones.
Elsewhere Riku is heading for Ifrit as he is craving his way through Heartless with his Keyblade to send out swarms of Dark Firaga to pepper the streets. Then a large Metal Troll hit Riku with its ax to knock him into a pillar.
"Firaga," Locke shoots a large fireball to blast the large Heartless back into oblivion. "Hey Riku, I got your back," Locke wielding his twin daggers to use his speed to slice up several lessor Heartless.
"I got your back as well," Celes comes in from the rooftop to cast Blizzaza to strike down another Metal Troll scattering it into icy pieces. Two Zip Slashers appear to engage the trio to use their twin blade arms to go onto the offensive with Riku dueling with one of them.
The two exchange swift blows and blocks with the Zip Slasher kicking Riku in the knee and slashes him across the chest to send him into a building. Riku catches a pole to launch himself at the Heartless and kicking the Heartless in the head to knock it onto the ground face first.
"Gravity Raid," Riku charges up his Keyblade with Gravity magic to toss it and slam into the Heartless to create a dome of gravity to force it down. "Bloody Lance," he summons a spear of Darkness to strike it down and unleashing a potent explosion of dark energy to kill it off. Riku gets into his Armored State to wield two blades to slice another Zip Slasher in half with ease.
Locke and Celes tag teaming to fight more Zip Slashers as they avoid their dual blades with Locke emitting flames with his daggers. He ducks under the swing of a Heartless to kick the blade out of the way. "Flaming Cross," Locke cuts up the air to make a burning X and launches it to tear through the Heartless to also stun it.
"Icy Edge," Celes to cloak her blade with frost to slash at the monster several times with both Celes and Locke performing a combined assault of slashes to finish it off with a powerful wave of ice and fire,
"More of them," Riku sounding annoyed by this but Rinoa comes flying in with her angel wings appearing on her back. She uses Thundaza as a barrage of big lightning bolts instantly kill off over ten Zip Slashers with Squall killing off a nearby Metal Troll.
"I am at my full health and I am going to kick these mean jerks back where they belong," Rinoa said as her body is glowing with mighty mystic power to see her powers as a Witch is coming to the surface. "Flare," Rinoa let out multiple balls of flames to destroy several Zip Slashers and another Metal Troll.
"Let's get to that generator," Squall said as the five move through the broken streets to see the mass destruction the Heartless are capable of. "This is nuts, this town will never be the same again," Squall said.
"It feels like Radiant Garden all over again. So many Heartless, they seem to never end," Rinoa said as they see a large muscular humanoid with flaming hair for the Heartless is on the attack.
"Ifrit," Riku said as he launches an Abyss spell but Ifrit leaps over it and slams into Riku to pound him into the pavement. It grabs Riku's leg and bashes him onto the street like a makeshift hammer. The Heartless tosses Riku into a building with Rinoa and Squall coming in with Celes and Locke behind them.
"Gravity Well," Rinoa cast a spell to entrap the monster in a dome of high gravity to pin it down. Squall, Celes and Locke leash out powerful slashes with them empowering their blades to strike the monster. Ifrit let's out a powerful roar to slam onto the ground to cancel the gravity spell and punch Squall launching him into the air.
Ifrit summons pillars of flames to destroy more of the town with Rinoa creating a large barrier to protect all four of them from the barrage. Riku comes in using his Dark Aura to catch the Heartless off guard to dash into it several times cutting into its hide and pounds his blades into the ground to conjures a pillar of darkness to knock the monster backwards.
Ifrit leaps on top of broken buildings to kick pieces of debris to head towards them. They avoid the incoming projectiles to leap onto the buildings to chase after the monster. "Runic," Celes sucks in the fireballs of the Heartless to power up her next spell.
"How about you dodge this, Renzokuken," Squall slides after a fireball which Celes absorbs with her blade with him using his Gunblade to slash into the monster.
With each slash, he pulls the trigger of his Gunblade to make his strikes do more damage per slashes with the last one using enough force to send the Heartless flying into another building.
"Fated Circle," he powers up his weapon and he spins around to unleash a devastating wave of explosive energy to destroy an entire city block to flatten all the buildings in that area along with the Heartless taking a major hit from Squall's attack.
Ifrit is summons pillars of fire to shoot out of the ground while jumping towards Riku. He manage to dodge its large foot and slash it several times to cause some damage. "Stop Raid," he tosses his blade to hit the Heartless to free it in place. "Chaos Blade," Riku is using a series of charging attack empowered by darkness to hurt it even further.
Ifrit jumps high into the air to cover itself in an orb of dark flames to begin shooting a volley of dark fireballs in all directions. The five heroes try to avoid or guard from it but the numbers were overwhelming to being pounded multiple times.
Ifrit falls onto the ground and delivered a massive wave of flames to burn through every building turning them into melting husk. Luckily Rinoa protects them with her Witch's power as she prepares to finish it off. "Let's end this," Rinoa said.
"With pleasure," Locke and Celes come in to distract with Riku and Squall preparing their own attacks.
"Mirage Dive," Locke using his raw speed to make afterimages to confuse the Heartless as its trying to shoot down only the illusions. Locke closes in and delivers a potent twin slashes to stun the Heartless.
"Triple Blizzaza," Celes fires three huge chucks of ice from her blade using all the magic she stolen from Ifrit as the all three shots hit their marks. The beast is covered in deep frost slowing down its movements and damping its flames.
"Apocalypse," Rinoa conjures large waves of light that shake the entire sky and raining down onto the large Heartless with her spell severely weakening it.
Both Riku and Squall unleash a huge string of combos to tear into the monster's hide with Squall empowering his blade with energy. "Blasting Zone," he slams his blade full force into the monster to create a huge explosion that sends the Heartless crashing into a building and severed its left arm leaking black goo on the ground.
"Zantetsuken," Riku performs an insanely fast slash to appear behind Ifrit to kill the monster instantly.
"It's done," Squall said to destroy the weird looking generator to go help the others defend the town.
Elsewhere Terra is in her Esper form flying in the air as she is using her magic to wipe out groups of Heartless on the ground. "This is crazy, Traverse Town is in ruins. These Heartless are on another level," she thought to see a swarm of flying Heartless.
She uses a Mega Flare with one massive blast wipe them out completely as she gets hit by the tail of a huge dinosaur like Heartless called Catastrochorus.
"Terra," an orb of lightning slams onto the side to the creature for Vincent is on top of a building firing his tri barreled shotgun pistol called Cerberus.
"Vincent," Terra said to be happy to see the red cloak of the gunslinger.
"Come on Terra, we got to get to Shiva and end this nightmare," Vincent said as he runs on the buildings with Terra flying above to fight off the monster. The big monster lets out a stream of flames from its maws to burn away at the ground.
"Barrier," Terra cast an orb of light to protect Vincent as he slides under the feet of the beast to pump buckshot into its stomach with the beast roaring in pain. The pellets were craved into the skin of the beast for they begin to glow and then a chain of explosions further tear into the Heartless.
"Frag Barrage," Vincent fire three buckshots infused with magic to let out a series of violent blasts to make the Heartless back away from him.
"Flare," Terra cast a series of magical fire orbs to collide into the Heartless causing large detonations to damage it further.
The Catastrochorus smashes its feet to spew out pillars of energy to rip into the environment from its back shoots out more fireballs to shower onto the ground.
"Guys, Wall," Minfilia comes in to create a large dome of mystic energy to protect them from hurt. "That was close," she said as the blond woman is wielding her short sword and round shield.
"Thanks for the save, Minfilia," Terra said as she strikes the beast with a Graviza spell to trap it in the dome.
"No problem, Banish," she conjures a hail of light bullets to cut into the skin of the monster with the beast breaks through the gravity dome and tackles towards them.
"Wall," Minfilia summons a large dome of magic to stop the Heartless dead in its tracks. "Ricochet Bash," she empowers her shield and tosses it like a disc. The shield bounces off the walls to slam into the head of the monster making it flinch several times.
Minfilia jumps onto the tallest building nearby the beast as she leaps over its head. He grabs her shield and bashes it onto its skull to bring the beast with Vincent and Terra using their combined attacks to destroy it for good.
"Come on, we need to get to Shiva and destroy this generator," Minfilia said as the trio go through the broken streets to see Nanaki and Serah fighting the monster.
Both are dodging incoming waves of ice spikes from the ground with Serah getting hits from her bow and magic arrows. "Good, some backup. This Heartless is pretty tough," Serah said as she is firing arrows at it.
Vincent is firing buckshot to stun the Shiva Heartless as Nanaki is shooting fireballs from his mouth to damage the monster further. "I can kill in one shot, hold it down," Terra begins to gather fire energy in the middle of her palms for it is getting bigger by the second.
"You got it," Nanaki is dodging incoming ice shards and ice spikes with him casting Slow on the Shiva. Both Nanaki and Minfilia go up close and slash into the beast multiple times. "Blood Fang," Nanaki cloaks himself in energy and he delivers a powerful dashing attack to knock the Heartless backwards.
"Rapid Lightning," Minfilia emits her sword in lightning energy to repeatedly stabbing into the monster's body until the last strike gives the Heartless a large shock stunning it in place.
"Iron Shot, Ultima Arrow," both Vincent and Serah fire twin projectiles to rip off the arms of the Heartless as Terra is getting ready to finish off the beast.
"Meltdown," she gathers an orb of flames in the middle of her palms and release it to slam into the Shiva Heartless to burn it away into nothingness.
The aftereffects of the spell cause a small earthquake they shaken the entire area. "These poor people loss their whole town to these monsters," Minfilia feeling sympathy for them.
"Well time to shut this down and find Maser Umiko," Terra said as she drives her claw into the black generator to shut it down. They see the black barrier is lifted and the museum is in the clear.
"Hey guys, the Museum is opened. We got to make a beeline to the building," Yuffie said as everyone rushes towards the museum to aid Umiko.
Within the vast storage room, Umiko and Drake are deep in combat clashing their Keyblades and casting powerful magic onto one another for Drake's Null Magic worn off during the battle.
"Holy," Umiko fire a big ball of light with Drake using Ultima for their two spells colliding with each other causing a massive explosion sending them backwards. Sora catches Umiko as his friends are all here. "Guys you made it," Umiko is relieved to see them unharmed.
"Yeah and now we deal with Drake," Kairi and the others draw their weapons as Drake is outnumbered for the lone warrior laughs at this bravado.
"You think you won, you might have turn off my generators but that don't mean I'm through yet," Drake pulls out a trigger with everyone getting ready to charge. "One more step and this whole world goes into the Realm of Darkness," Drake catches everyone off guard as Sora is empowered by Sylph to uses her speed to try and grab the trigger out of Drake's hand.
Suddenly Ophelia appears out of the portal and kicks Sora across the chin sending him flying back towards the others. They are encased in a massive cage made of darkness and thorns made by Ophelia who is beside Drake.
"As I was saying, these generators you shut down. They have a secondary function if shut down they will act as gateways straight towards the Dark Realm itself," Drake said as Umiko is beyond helpless at this point.
"So, what is it Umiko. Will you give us the Keystones or have this world become a Heartless buffet," Ophelia threatened as the Keyblade Master is put into a tight spot.
"Alright, I'll give you what you want," Umiko said as everyone is at protest with this.
"But Master Umiko, we have to fight…" Sora is stopped by Umiko.
"I know Sora but I don't want any more pain for these people. His deal is with us, not them. You can take them," she said as Ophelia takes the precious stones from the sealed container.
"Thank you, we will be leaving now," Drake and his partner disappear into the Corridor of Darkness as Sora and team are release from their prison.
"I can't believe Drake got away with this," Riku said.
"I know but we have not much time left. He has all the Keystones now and he is going to get Ragnarök very soon. We are heading out now, get into your Gummi Ships and head for the ruins of Radiant Garden," Umiko said as she looks outside to the people suffering from this. "I will make things right, I will return balance to these broken worlds after I am done with you brother," Umiko said as they all get ready for the final battle to truly begin.
Back within Hollow Bastion castle, the duo manage to be within Drake's personal chambers. "Now my dear, it's time to start the summoning of Ragnarök and my dream to unite the worlds as one," Drake said.
"Indeed, I am proud of you Master," she said to lovely kiss him on the cheek.
"Well, go guard the castle to prevent Umiko and her useful pawns from entering inside," Drake said.
"Of course, Me, Fenrir and Midgardsormr will be your guardians to aid Ragnarök to appear back within this world," Ophelia said to teleport away.
"Oh, that girl Kairi is a special one. More than she can believe," Drake looks up at a certain painting which has a woman in her early 30s with long red hair, piercing blue eyes and skin as white as snow. She is wearing a set of pink and white Keyblade Armor with her wielding the Destiny's Embrace.
"A mother that gave birth to a tool Umiko wanted to use to destroy me," Drake said as he laughs at this. "Doesn't matter, I will be the one who will claim Xehanort's Legacy and make his dream a reality. Use the Ragnarök's power to make the worlds one again and I will be the leader to lead this new world into a new golden age. Just what the master wanted us to do, right sister," Drake said to smile at this as he prepares for the final battle.
