Chapter 52: Xehanort's Legacy Pt 4
The five are within the castle of Hollow Bastion for it is quite abandoned and lost to time. "This place used to be beautiful but now it's a hollow shell of itself," Umiko said as they go into the castle halls for it feels still and empty.
"Hey, look at this," Kairi said for her blue eyes were wide with surprise. The others come over to see a painting of a beautiful red-haired woman wearing Keyblade armor and the Destiny's Embrace Keyblade in a striking pose.
"Wow, Riku is this for real?" Sora asked.
"We can check out where Kairi came from," Riku said.
"Kairi this world Radiant Garden is your real home and this woman was your mother. You look like her when she was younger," Umiko said as Kairi felt overwhelmed with emotion which is making her cry.
"Kairi," Sora and Riku worry about her with Sora hugging her.
"Sora, Riku. I am here, home and this is my mother. I am so happy," Kairi said as Riku looks on to see Sora being happy for her but he felt uneasy for some reason.
"I should be happy too but this is bugging me somewhat," Riku thought as they go forward into the old castle halls.
"So, did you know my mother?" Kairi asked sounding excited about this news.
"Oh yes, she was a very powerful Keyblade Master who was kind, warm and loving. She cares deeply about her world and safeguards it from the Heartless but she died protecting her world leaving her only daughter to Ansem the Wise to take care of you until you slip away into the void when Drake ruined this world falling into Destiny Islands," Umiko said.
"I see, its good to know about where I really came," Kairi said as a weight is lifted off her chest. "Now, we take Drake down and restore my homeworld back to its full glory," Kairi said as they go deeper into the old castle.
Then they stumble about in a lab that has glass tubes filled with captured Espers and Magicites. "This used to be Ansem's Magitek labs, these are where SOLDIERs become what they are," Umiko said as there were a lot of Espers and Magicite here collected by Drake over the years.
Sora feels a powerful presence calling to him for he and Kairi go to a tank with a stone holding lots of power. Sora can feel its power calling to him.. "Mortal, I see you have the other three Great Elemental Espers within your being and Ragnarök return is near," a low booming voice appears in his head.
"You must be Golem, the Esper of Earth," Sora said.
"Very sharp, you need all of us to overcome the tough trails ahead and put Drake down for good. I will give you the power to be as steadfast as the Earth itself," Golem's spirit goes into Sora's body letting him absorb the Esper as his clothing changes to brown and hazel along with his eyes being brown. His Keyblade transforms into a round-shaped shield to be in his Guard State.
"How do you feel, anything bad?" Kairi asked as Sora reverts to normal.
"Relax, I gain Golem and have all the Elemental Espers now," Sora said as Terra can feel the power coming from his body sensing the Esper Spirits within him.
"Sora is quite amazing," Terra thought as she felt something else within here.
"Hello, who is there?" a deep male voice asked as Terra felt the voice for it made her strangely comforting.
"Yes, we are, who is this?" Sora asked for they follow the voice's echoes to a tube holding a Magicite within it.
"Terra, my sweet baby girl. You have grown up so much," the man said putting fatherly warmth into his voice as Terra's heart skip at his voice.
"This voice is from the past, it can't be," Terra feeling overwhelmed with emotion. "Father, is that you?" Terra wept as the stone reacts to his daughter's tears to let out a wave of warmth to comfort.
"Yes, I am your father, Maduin the guardian of the gateway to the Esper World. You are as beautiful as your mother was," he said with a deep yet kind tone to his voice.
Terra can see the image of her father projecting from his Magicite as a large muscular humanoid with large horns and long deep green hair forming a ponytail. Terra can see she gets her green hair from her father.
"I am so happy to see you, what is going on here?" Terra asked as Maduin looks over to Umiko to have cringed at her presence.
"Get away from me," Maduin said with fear in his tone as the others look confused by this.
"Well, I will stay here and help free the Espers. You four go confront Drake and take him down," Terra said as she begins taking out the Magicites out of the tubes.
"Good idea, let's go," Umiko said as they all go up the stairs to reach Drake's inner chambers. They see a tall sleek looking dark elf having white hair, red eyes and dark brown skin like Umiko as Drake awaits them.
"So you manage to kill my three guardians, good thing they stall you guys to buy me time for the Esper to come," Drake draws his Keyblade Ends of Pain to unleash a blast of wind blowing the four away as he thrust Riku into a wall with his Keyblade deep in her shoulder. "You must die," Drake slices through flesh and bone badly wounding Riku's arm with blood bursting out of the wound.
"NO!" Sora and Kairi shouted as Drake takes Riku and tosses him across the room like a ragdoll. "You're going to pay for that," Sora and Kairi draw their Keyblades with Umiko go up to Riku seeing blood rushing out of her arm and seeing bone sticking out.
"Please Riku, stay with me. I am going to heal you now," Umiko casting Curaga on his body but his severe wound closing up and pain disappearing.
"I was careless, I was clumsy," Riku said as he sees his arm is fix up ready for more.
"Come on," Umiko said as Riku collects himself and joins the others in their fight.
Drake blocks both Kairi's and Sora's strikes shoving them away with ease and the battle couple blasting him with Firaga spells. He deflects him away with Kairi shooting energy blasts at Drake as he creates a barrier to block her spells.
The dark elf burst the barrier to knock both Sora and Kairi back as he rapidly slashing Kairi and then punching her in the face to launch her into a pillar leaving a big dent behind.
"Umiko's apprentices like the others, they will fade from time as well. How fitting but now its time to let loose before my guest of honor arrives," Drake emits a powerful aura mixed with Light and Darkness making the five flinch from its sheer power.
"This power it's," Umiko is speechless at this with Drake wielding his Keyblade gathering both Light and Dark energies at the tip. He goes into his High Elf state as Ophelia's power infused into his own. He wields back his Ends of Pain and Ophelia's Spellbinder in each hand while magically donning his own Keyblade Armor with elements of a dragon imprinted on the metal plates.
"Eraqus was wrong, Darkness along with Light are eternal," Drake fires big balls of energy at the gang unleashing massive explosions leaving craters in their wake. Umiko activates her High Elf State as well to enhance her magic for she fires rays of lightning aiming for Drake.
He whacks them away with his Keyblades as he leaps and drives his blades into the ground emitting beams of energy out of the ground heading for the group. The trio goes into their power-up states as they roll out of the paths of the pillars but Kairi gets hit with one of the beams sending her flying across the massive room.
Sora in Power State launches himself at the dark elven man delivering swift blows with Drake easily matching his movements. Sora dodges a slash and sends rapid cuts across his armored chest with Drake punching him in the stomach following it up with a strong slash knocking him away.
Riku engages Drake in a swordfight with Riku swinging both his blades with Drake parrying his strike countering by kicking him in the face. He ducks under the kick and slashes his Keyblade onto his knee with Sora managing to hit him with a flying Oathkeeper across his helmeted face.
Drake's aura explodes and pushing it out with explosive force blowing the others away. "Shadow Needle," Drake creates volleys of dark spikes to scatter around them with everyone trying to dodge.
"Reflega," Kairi uses a barrier to deflect the spells back at Drake with the armored warrior weaving through the attacks to close in on the mage and slam his Keyblade into her chest making her fly into a pillar.
"Abyss," Drake fires a large orb of Darkness to slam into Kairi to be caught in a large explosion taking lots of damage.
He blocks Umiko's and Sora's blades to uses his aura to push them away as Umiko cast Aeroza engulfing Drake in a powerful twister.
Sora and Riku combine the twister with several Firaga spells turning it into a fiery tempest. Both Sora and Riku dash through the twister to slash at Drake afterward the tornado explodes in a fearsome blast leaving Drake high in the air.
Kairi recovers and draws a magic circle in front of her to prepare her spell. Kairi summons many energy orbs showering at Drake pounding away at him with each strong blast.
Drake took the hits but he is left unharmed due to his powerful aura, he speeds towards Umiko grabbing her by the throat and flings her into a wall. Drake shoots a beam of light engulfing Umiko in it as her body is in deep pain from the hurtful light.
"The Light, it hurts. It's not supposed to be like that," Umiko said to cough up blood on the floor as Drake is amused by this.
"Darkness and Light entwine into one another when Eraqus lost his friend Master Xehanort to Darkness. He believed Darkness should be destroyed but he is a hypocrite like the Foretellers before since a Keyblade wielder's main purpose is to keep the balance between Light and Darkness not upset it," Drake said.
"But you use both Light and Darkness to cause harm," Umiko casts Blackout causing Drake to go blind and fire three Blizzaga in a row causing damage to his armor.
"And you don't, you are acting like a hypocrite right now," Drake leashes out an explosive wave of magic to knock everyone away. Drake zaps Kairi with several Bolt spells to stun with the giant bolts of lightning to knock her away with twin sword strikes. "I alone will gain Xehanort's legacy and reunite the worlds like the age of fairy tales," Drake said.
Sora and Kairi both cast Balloonza creating many large water bubbles heading for Drake. Drake covers his body in a magic shield with the bubbles bursting on contact making smaller bubbles overwhelming his defenses.
Sora uses Sonic Blade dashing across his body leaving lethal cuts with Kairi casting Holyga gathering light energy into her blade.
Both Umiko and Riku unleash a barrage of slashes and blows making Drake go on the defensive trying to block their vicious assaults. Riku stabs his Soul Eater into Drake's stomach with Umiko bashing his blade into his armored face.
Kairi fires a massively powerful orb of light energy with the others moving out of its path to hits Drake unleashing an explosion consuming the Fallen Keybearer.
After the explosion stops, Drake cast Null Magic to be cloaked in a passive field of energy around him for the spell did no damage as well as cast a potent Regen spell. This healing spell is a passive spell allowing him to speed his healing factor to superhuman levels with all his wounds disappearing like they were never there before.
"Okay, time to go 100% power," Drake pushes his High Elf state even further with magical energy erupting from his body for the castle shakes under his hidden power. He transforms his End of Pain into gauntlets and shin guards with the Spellbinder becoming a pair of wings attached to his armored back to hover in the air.
Drake cast Stopza to freeze the whole room with only him still moving. He lets out several spears of lightning to stab into Kairi as he summons more lightning spears to pepper her body over 50 times. Kairi is still as a statue with Drake having a smirk on his face. "You will know true fear," he snaps his finger as time resumes and Kairi's body exploding with pain tenfold.
"Kairi," Sora said sounding worried as Kairi falls onto the ground to be knocked out of her Divine State for she tries to get up with her body covered in bloody cuts and burns.
Drake freezes time again to go for Riku to punch him several times for Riku is still in place unable to move from his blows. Drake unleashes more blows to increase the speed and power with each blow for he looks like a blur and looks like he is using 30 fists at once.
"Gatling Punch, 100 times," Drake delivers a final blow to be behind him as he unfreezes time. Riku felt every blow at once with blood bursting from his mouth and his bones breaking from every angle.
"Riku," Kairi and Sora said at the same time to see Riku get fling across the room to smash into a wall. Riku reverts to normal as his body is ruined beyond measure.
"No more games," Drake is using Stopza in combat to dodge and avoid their physical blows while negating spells with his passive Null Magic field. Sora is in Power State to land hits but Drake looks like he is teleporting while using his time magic to avoid his blows with little ease.
He uses his Gatling Punch to hit Sora over a 100 times to knock him away to teleport behind him to kick him into the air. He warps around the room to hit Sora around like a pinball to be on the ceiling to dropkick Sora back onto the marble floor. Drake grabs him by the leg to bash him on the hard marble floor like a hammer hitting a nail.
He flings him into a pillar to launch a dark lance to pin Sora onto the pillar for he reverts to his normal state due to taking too much damage. Umiko fires an Aeroza nearby Drake as he laughs at this.
"I told you, no spell can break this shield," Drake said as Umiko smiles at this. "What is so funny?" he asked as he felt the winds blowing him back.
"I can't hit you directly but you can't take the aftereffects like the winds of the twister," Umiko said as she uses Waterza to splash the floor with it covered in water to hit Drake's feet. "Kairi now," Umiko said as Kairi destroys the walls with a spell for electric wires falls onto the water.
Drake looks on with shock as he gets electrocuted by the wires zapping the water. "Guys, Curaga," Kairi flies over to him to cast healing spells to get Riku and Sora back on their feet. They power back up as Sora tries out his new form.
"I'll try this out, Golem give me strength," Sora emits waves of energy to merge with Golem's spirit wielding his Key Shield as he stomps onto the floor creating pillars of earth slamming into Drake knocking him into a wall.
Drake focuses dark and light energies into his fists and bash through an earth pillar. "So, you have all the 4 great elemental Espers within you, it matters not. It's only a few more moments until Ragnarök comes and changes the worlds forever," Drake said as his Null Magic is about to run out but his powerful Regen is still active helping him heal his wounds almost instantly.
Sora engages with Drake with his new shield to block incoming strikes but the sheer strength of the blows made his arms strain. "I don't think that defense is good enough," Drake twist the shield out of his hand and bashes it onto Sora's face to knock him away.
"Double Cast," Umiko activates it the magic skill as she prepares her very powerful spells. "Megaflare + Megaflare, Sunburst," Umiko fires a huge ball of flames at Drake for its too fast for him to dodge for his Null Magic is about to go dry.
"Foolish," he transfers the Null Magic into his fist to run at the orb to punch it and negate the spell like it never existed. Umiko has a look of surprise but she gets frozen in a Stopza with Drake hitting her body at lightning speed with his fists to be behind her. "Gatling Punch, 1000 times," Drake snaps his finger to end the Stopza as all the damages Umiko took happen all at once. Her body is broken and bloodied to near death as she gets knocked out of her High Elf state.
"Master," the trio said as Umiko is barely hanging on a thread unless she can heal herself.
"Umiko, will you let another group of young wielders gets dragged by your self-righteous crusade. Not knowing all the sins, you committed when you worked for me or what you did to the other Keyblade wielders," Drake said as Umiko gets back up for she felt her ribs were breaking.
"Curaga," she manages to restore her body back to fighting order but still feels very sore.
"What are you talking about?" Riku asked.
"Terrible, she holds many secrets but you will not be alive for it to matter," Drake said as a mighty roar shakes the entire world for the others like Cloud and Squall look up into the sky.
"What the fuck is that?" Prishe questioned as they finished mopping up the Heartless by the castle gates to see a massive summoning circle with power surging into the sky blacking it like ink.
"Are we too late," Aerith said sounding worried.
"No, we need faith in our friends can stop this," Hope said as even he can feel himself getting goosebumps.
"I hope so," Sazh said as they all on to give hope to Sora and the others.
Back with Drake's room, Drake laughs at this moment to return to his own Keyblade. "Finally, the time is nigh, prepare for your demise Extinction," Drake rises his Keyblade towards the ceiling for thousands of magic circles appear above them as beams of energy bombard the area everyone submitting to extreme pain.
When the beams stopped, the four were badly hurt with Sora being near Kairi seeing blood seeping through her combat dress from her sides. "You are going to be okay," Sora senses something from the portal as a great power is rising from it.
"Ragnarök has returned and I'm its successor," Drake is being empowered by the Esper with his whole body glowing with a strong aura filed with Ragnarök's power as he waves his hands sending a wave of energy to hit the four making everyone but Sora freeze in place. "Seems like you remain, try and stop me now, Sora," Drake said.
"Sora, you have all four of us. It's time to combine our strength and unleash it on this monster," Ifrit's voice echoes through his head.
"Time to merge Light and Darkness together to vanquish this fiend," Leviathan said.
"Merge them into Twilight and put this monster down for good," Sylph said.
"Follow our commands to merge with all of us," Golem said as Sora carefully repeat what they are saying with the others and Drake watching seeing his power rising to new heights.
"No, this is impossible," Drake fires multiple Ultima spells at Sora being covered with great explosions with the others watching helplessly.
"Sora no!" Kairi shouted wanting to help but due to Drake's new magic, she can't move one bit.
The explosions ceased as Sora is now shroud with energy from all four Espers mending with his very being. Sora draws out of his Keyblade empowering it with the Espers' energies. "Fire into Light and Wind into Light," Sora empowers Oathkeeper with Ifrit and Sylph on the left side. "Water into Darkness and Earth into Darkness," he enchants the Oathkeeper with Leviathan and Golem on the right side.
Kairi looks on to see the tablet in the museum coming true. "Sora. You are really something else," Kairi looking on with a mix of awe and concern as the shell break apart revealing Sora is in white and black colored clothing head to toe, his eyes were now bright grey with his blade turning into the Ultima Weapon Keyblade pulsing with power. Sora is within his Ultimate state with all the power of the four great elemental Espers merged within his very heart and soul.
"No, you will submit to me," Drake wields his two Keyblades swinging it at Sora for him to return his blow both connecting unleashing a potent surge of power sending everyone flying across the room. Sora's Ultima Weapon is emitting both Light and Darkness powering it up as Sora shoves forward for his weapon slices through Drake's Keyblades making the others shock beyond words.
"He slices two Keyblade in half, is that even possible," Riku questioned as Drake is without his own Keyblade.
"Damn it, fine I'll send you to oblivion instead," Drake teleports deeper into his vast chambers.
Sora goes towards Kairi looking at her sweet knight. "It's a good look for you sweetheart," Kairi said as Sora showing his big grin.
"Yeah thanks, are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. You worry about Drake," Kairi said.
"This is the end of the road, huh?" Sora said.
"Yeah but you can win this. I have faith in you like I always do," Kairi said as Sora give her brief yet passionate kiss.
"I love you Kairi," Sora said with tender warmth in his voice making Kairi's heart melt.
"I will always love Sora," Kairi said making the young man give her a grin.
"I promise, I'll be back before you know it," Sora goes deeper into the fortress.
Sora appears in a massive room seeing Drake floating in midair with a massive orb of energy with a faint image of the massive Esper appearing behind Drake uttering a powerful roar.
"Glad you came, because I'm going to destroy this entire world along with you and your friends," Drake is gathering more power into the orb and then flings it slowly descending towards at Sora.
Sora is wielding his Ultima Weapon gathering energy at the tip. "Ultima Beam," Sora fires a constant stream of energy mixed with Light and Darkness hitting the massive orb trying his best to push it away. Sora is slowly pushing it back with Drake firing more orbs into the massive one to shove it forward making it go faster than before.
"It's pointless, it's over," Drake shouted as the sphere is not stopping getting ever closer to Sora trying to stop it but to no avail.
"I can't give up, not yet," Sora can feel a warm glow in his heart.
"Sora," a woman's voice can be heard within his head.
"Leviathan," Sora said.
"You must use our full power to destroy him before he can use more of Ragnarök's power but are you willing to risk it?" she asked.
Sora has flashes of his friends, Cloud, Squall, Noctis, Terra, Umiko, Riku and… Kairi as his heart has chosen his path. "Yes," Sora said as the Esper female is quite interested in his answer.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because everyone is counting on me and I will give my life to protect their futures especially hers even if I'm not a part of it," Sora said as Leviathan is awed by this human's conviction.
"Very well, unlock your heart to us and all our power will flow through you," Leviathan and the others merge fully with his heart with his body supercharged with the Espers' powers.
"Time to finish this," Sora's beam is pumped with explosive energy to clash with the incoming sphere forcing it back up with Drake surprised. "You will not hurt any of my friends or anyone else," Sora's body explodes with vast amounts of energy making Drake quite afraid.
"No, no this is impossible. You can't win," Drake shouted.
"Twilight Buster," Sora shoots a huge sphere of Darkness and Light channeling through the beam slamming into the opposing orb pushing it right back at Drake. The two orbs hit Drake engulfing him in the orbs as he is getting to vaporize with Ragnarök roaring in anger and pain.
The orbs unleash massive explosions shaking the world itself wiping Drake from existence. "Oh well Umiko won in the end and she is the true legacy of Xehanort now," he said to fade away from the blast.
"It's over," Sora said to be on his knees to revert to normal with his body about to fall apart. Sora makes it back into the front area to see the others were free from their magical binds. Riku and Kairi were both quite proud of Sora.
"You did it, we defeated Drake," Kairi said as Riku looks over to see Umiko looking at the orb of power still floating there where the Keystones lay.
"No Ragnarök is still here. Drake only uses a tiny bit of power from the Esper," Umiko said as Kairi is nearby her master to look at the orb feeling the Esper's overwhelming power coming out of it.
"What do we do with it?" Kairi asked.
"I know," Umiko raises her hand with the Magicite to summon Bahamut outside to be beside the window. Soon enough the dragon is taking in the power of Ragnarök into himself for the trio looked dumbfounded by this.
"Why are you doing this?" Kairi asked as Umiko lets out a weird laugh.
"Finally, it's mine. It's all mine," Umiko said as she has a crooked smile on her face.
"Umiko, what is the meaning of this?" Riku demanded sensing something very wrong is about to happen.
"Oh Riku, I have to thank you all for getting rid of the only one who could have stopped me. You will have your reward," Umiko said as suddenly she stabs Kairi in the chest with a very weird Keyblade. Both Riku and Sora were beyond shocked and that quickly turned to anger,
"Kairi no!" Sora shouted as they see Kairi's heart being released to be floating above her body.
"Sora," she said flatly as she falls onto the floor with no life left within her body. Umiko summons a dark portal to kick her lifeless body into it to vanish from sight. She breaks Kairi's heart with her new weird Keyblade to scatter it into many pieces to flow down into the dark portal as well.
"If you haven't figured it out yet. What Drake was saying was correct; you were a useful puppet and I have to thank you for clearing my brother out for me," Umiko said as she is wielding a black demonic looking Keyblade with an eye on top and a goat's head on top of the hilt.
"Umiko why?" Sora cried to be on his knees shedding tears for Kairi as they felt betrayed by Umiko with Kairi gone away with Riku's anger boiling within his heart.
"That Keyblade is really yours?" Riku questioned.
"Yes. The Gazing Eye. My master's Keyblade and now I am its new owner," Umiko said.
Bahamut manages to merge with Ragnarök for it is brimming with power that is rocking the whole world to go back into his Magicite for it has changed to a golden gem. Umiko's body is radiating boundless power as Ragnarök's power is hers to wield now.
"Well, I will tell you the truth. You earn that much, Kairi is the key to everything I need for my plans. Kairi is not the daughter of that woman," she said as the two boys look awestruck by this. "She is a replica based on Kairi Hakimi the original Kairi. Two other replicas were based on your Kairi. The first one is called Xion and another girl who is my student," Umiko said as thirteen black hooded figures appear behind her and one girl with long blond hair and a face that looks just like Kairi.
"Kairi?" Sora wondered to see the girl looks very similar to Kairi except for her long blond hair.
"This is Namine, the second replica based on your Kairi," Umiko said.
"Why did this happen, why is Kairi a replica?" Sora begged to want to know the truth.
"It was a part of Ansem the Wise's last project. Project WOL (Warrior of Light), when my old friend Kairi died. The Heartless were pushing closer into Radiant Garden with the Sage King becoming desperate. Many projects like Project SOLDER and Project S which made Sephiroth trying to turn the tide against my brother. Kairi was a step up from Sephiroth to be the ultimate warrior of light to fight the Heartless," Umiko continued.
"She was born a baby and to be raised to be a fine Keyblade wielder. I was supposed to train her but due to the chaos, she was lost in the void and stumbled into Destiny Islands until I found you lot there keeping her safe. Ansem uses one of the 7 pure lights from the X Blade to make Kairi a Princess of Heart for his purposes," Umiko said as this stunned the two young men.
"Kairi was a living weapon," Riku can't process and Sora is barely holding in there as it is.
"I will give you three truths before I send you into the Realm of Darkness. That was the first one, the second one is the deaths of the Princesses of Heart. I was the one who killed the six princesses when I was in my brother's group," she said as Sora's and Riku's hearts sink deeper into their chest at this.
"Wait along with their worlds?" Riku asked.
"Yes, I killed all of them including cute little Alice. This sweet ten-year-old girl who had no care in the world while I see her little head roll off her shoulders with one slash from my Keyblade," Umiko said as Riku explodes onto her with his words.
"Are you kidding me, you murdered innocent kids," Riku yelled at her losing his cool.
"Their lives forfeit towards the greater good. Bringing the world back to its original state is above everything else, their lights are needed for my plan to move forward," Umiko said.
"What is the third truth?" Sora asked as Umiko snaps her finger for the hooded figures reveals their faces. Riku looks surprised to see ghosts from the past.
"Missing Keyblade Wielders are here?" Riku getting more dumbfounded by this.
"Aqua, Terra, Ventus, Lea, Isa, Skuld, Xion, Vanitas, Dark Riku/Shadow, Lauriam, Elrena, Strelitzia, and the newest member of my Keyblade club Roxas. These thirteen along with Namine and me make 15 Keyblade wielders who will help me guide this world into a new tomorrow," Umiko said.
"Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. Did they disappear along with the others?" Riku asked feeling so defeated by this for its draining his willpower.
"Well after they killed my master, they went after me but I beat them easily. I am using the same Magitek mind control device that Drake was using to control Rinoa and Seifer along with his gang. I made it and I am using the best version to keep these guys under my thumb," Umiko said.
"How are they still alive and not age at all. Terra, Aqua and Ventus disappeared over 100 years ago?" Riku asked still feeling dumbfounded.
"Stasis Pods, all of them I preserved to be at their original ages before I locked them up," Umiko said.
"I don't believe you, all my work for nothing," Riku said feeling defeated and on his knees for Umiko goes up to him and strokes his chin.
"Don't worry about it, you were very useful to me but you served your purpose. Oh, before you go, I have a bonus truth to share with you. I have my own army called the Cogna," she pulls down her gown from the top to show a small metal diamond embedded into her back. "They are the ultimate fighting force capable of wiping out the Heartless with ease. The module in my spine allows me to be the main controller of the whole horde of powerful machines," she said.
"How did you get that?" Riku demanded.
"When you were on the world of Futurepolis, my agent Vanitas was there to pick it up for me," Umiko said as Riku felt so stupid at all this overwhelming information. "Well goodbye," she cast a spell to blow them both into the dark portal to be trapped within the Realm of Darkness. "Now I will be the empress of a brave new world and I got a lot of work to do," Umiko said as she unleashes hell on Cloud and the others outside for they face off a powerful new enemy without Sora, Riku, and Kairi to help them out against Umiko's righteous wraith.
A/N: That is the end of part 1 of the story. This was the first story arc called the Drake Saga and now we are going into the second story arc called the Umiko Saga. This story is only just getting started.
