A/N: I always personally find the Valentines/White Day sets to be the most fun, in general. So... Happy early Valentine's Day!

Disclaimer: Probably should start investing more in writing what would fund my life, but it is not this day.

From the corner of her eye, Risa watched Hiwatari-kun slip the folder into the cavity under his desk, push back his chair, and glide across the classroom to the door.

As soon as he slid the door shut behind him, she jumped to her feet, grabbed the bag that held the cupcake she had bought him, and darted over to his desk. Girls liked to use his locker to leave their anonymous gifts, but his desk rarely attracted such attention.

Although the small cupcake would have just fit, a panel like the front of a drawer blocked the space under his desk, too close to the opening for her to wedge the present in front of it. When she tried to move the panel, she only rattled the desk across the floor. She shot a hurried glance over her shoulder, then crouched down to peer into the shadowed cavity and figure out how he had put the folder inside and locked the drawer behind himself without fiddling with anything. Maybe it had only gotten stuck on something and she might wiggle it open.

"Do you need something?"

With a gasp, she spun around to stare at Hiwatari-kun as he loomed over her. "How did you get in here?" she demanded, whipping the bag behind her back.

"Through the door," he replied, gesturing behind himself to the panel that stood wide open again, as frustrating as his unnecessary answer, since she had listened hard for any sign of him returning to the classroom.

"But how did you lock your drawer?" she asked, flustered.

He stepped past her and slid his hand under the desk, then without any difficulty drew the drawer open. He removed the folder he had stored within before closing the drawer, finishing the action by raising his eyebrows at her.

She huffed, then swung the bag around to smack his arm. "Fine, then! Forget getting this."
