Yurovsky is in the guards quarters and is smoking a sigar when all of a sudden Maria breaks in with no authority.
"Hey you're not alo-" Yurovsky is then interupted when Maria picks up a peice of wood and begins wrecking the room while chasing Yurovsky.
"You murderer!!" Maria snapped as she swings the wood around.
"Stop in the name of- AHHH!!" Yurovsky said as he tried to outran Maria while she kept hitting objects around in an attempt to hit Yurovsky.
"You don't know the pain that I am suffering within!!!" Maria roard as she continued her attempt to get a blow on Yurovsky.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey maybe we ca-YAOH!! No, no! AHHH!!!"
Yurovsky kept avoiding Maria's weapon then he got hit on the knee.
"Owww!!!" Yurovsky screams in pain.
Maria picks him up with no issues.
"Wow! You are suprisingly strong than you look! AHHHHHHHH!!!" Yurovsky exclaimed then Maria threw him to a wall.
A guard heared the wreaking going on and he rush to Yurovsky's aid then he pulls out his gun aiming at Maria who is getting close to Yurovsky with her wood. As the guard is about to pull the triger Tatiana immidiently grabs the guard by the hand and pointed the gun at the ceiling as it fired.
"MARIA! THIS! STOPS! NOW!!" Tatiana angerly yelled.
Maria is then brought to the bedroom.
"What has gone into you Maria!!? Attempting to attack a person with a thick peice of wood that could've killed him!!!! Are you out of your mind!!!?" Olga angerly screamed at her sister.
"Im sorry, I din't know wha-" Maria tried to explain herself then she was interupted.
"What!? What Maria!? That you have no idea of what you were doing!!? You tried to murder Yurovsky and you're telling me that you don't know what you were doing!!? Huh, Maria!!?" Olga Shouted
"I...i...i.." Maria hesitates
"Im sorry!? Is that... is that what you're trying to say!!? You're sorry!!? Sorry is not gona fix Yurovsky's broken knee Maria and he could be limping for the rest of his life thanks to you!!!" Olga screamed
"Olga, I think thats enough." Anastaisa said as she began to feel sympathy for poor Maria.
"Be quiet Anastasia!!!" Olga turns back to Maria. "And you!! What you did was unforgivable!!!
"Olga... please..." Maria said as she began weeping and sobbing.
"Not gona work Maria, not gona work!!! I just have enough of you!!" Olga Shouted
Maria stands up and tries to hug Olga but Olga just shoves Maria to the floor and kicks her sister on the leg.
"Now you know how it feels don't you!?" Olga asked Maria sternly
Maria, sobbing and shedding tears, is begging for forgiveness and clutches on Olga's leg, not minding the pain on her own leg, then Olga just made a cold move by kicking Maria on the stomach and by the 5th kick Maria lets go and puts her arms on her stomach, feeling the intense pain.
"Sister...?" Maria trying to talk to Olga while crying and sobbing and holding her stomach in pain.
"You're not my sister!!! You're just a step sister!!!" Olga shouted. When she said "step sister" it had a big effect on Maria as she was called a step sister when they were little. "And you're a big fat disappointment in my life and I wish you were never born!!!" Olga yelled then she left the room followed by Tatiana.
Maria continued sobbing and weeping on the floor, feeling not only physical pain but also pain in her heart feuled by her sister's words. Anastasia comes to Maria and tries to comfort her by hugging.
"Shhh shhhh there there Mashka... You still got me." Said Anastasia as she strokes Maria's hair.
In a nearby clinic, Yurovsky's leg is examined by a local doctor.
"Yikes! Seems you sir, got a big blow on your knee cap." The doctor said.
"How bad is it?" Yurovsky asked.
"Not much, but it's fractured you're gona have to wear a cast and use clutches for few months until you're knee is recovered. But bad news.. by examining the kneecap that had taken a gargantuan force when it got hit, im afraid you're limping for the rest of your life." The doctor said.
"Oh god..." Yurovsky said in disappointment.
"Mind if i ask what happened?" The doctor asked.
"I rather have it kept to myself if thats alright to you," Yurovsky replied with a stern voice.
"Ok, ok, ok im just curious, we doctors don't know everything you know." The doctor replied
"So... are you a communist?" Yurovsky Asked
"Yes. Infact my brother is serving in the red army corps." The doctor explained "I believe Lenin would guide mother Russia to greatness unlike the Tsar... My beloved wife is one of the victims of the mass starvation he caused... all because of this costly war." The doctor continued.
"I feel you brother." Yurovsky said.
"All heil Lenin." The doctor salutes
"All heil Lenin." Yurovsky salutes
"Its only a matter of time... before Europe will be free from the tyranny of monarchies and will bathe in the freedoms of communism and our nations will bask in the glory." The doctor said proudly.
"With the Tsar and the heir out of the way there will be no issue but the Ural Executive Committee is still yet to decide the fate of the Tsar's doughters." Yurovsky said
"Why not shoot them?" The doctor suggested.
"Its only up to the Ural Executive Committee to decide." Yurovsky said
Yurovsky leaves a tip for the medicine that the doctor gave him for his other medical problem.
"Tsk tsk this is not enough. You have to pay me 100 rubles." The doctor said.
"But thats all i have right now." Yurovsky said.
"If you don't pay the dept im afraid i'm going to charge you, unless you pay before the deadline." The doctor explained.
"Which is...?" Yurovsky asked
"24 hours." The doctor replied.
"What!? I can't get that much rubles in 24 hours!" Yurovsky exclaimed.
"Well you're gona have to find a way." The doctor said.
Yurovsky groans.
Back at the household Maria and Anastasia are outside watching the sunset.
"Maria, tell me really... why did you do it?" Anastaisa asked concerned
"You wana know the full story?" Maria asked depressed and she took a deep breath. "I was walking down the halls carrying laundry minding my own business, when i heared Yurovsky talking to a guy in a room then he asks Yurovsky something and he told him he..." Maria paused and began weeping.
"He shot papa and Alexie... to death..." Maria covers her face with her hands as she cry.
"What!? Why did he!?" Anastaisa quietly yelled then Maria spoke before she could finish.
"They're a threat! We're a threat! A threat to their so called communist regime! Inorder for the regime to survive, we have to be out of the picture! Can't you see Anastaisa!? Were already doomed from the start!" Maria yelled as she sobbed. "I had a nighmare last night where we're all back at the Ipatiev house, then we and our family were lead to a basement where then all of us are shot! I let my fear and anger control me... I... I..I didn't mean to attack Yurovsky... even if he hates us." She continued.
Anastasia pats Maria at the back and Maria cries on Anastaisa's shoulder and Anastasia places her hand on Maria's head then strokes her hair. The sisters are at the dining room eating dinner without Maria. The room is in dead silence untill...
"Anastasia, how's you're day?" Olga asked casually as she tries to start a conversation but Anastasia ignores her.
"Anastasia?" Olga askes again.
"Tatiana, h-?" Olga asked Tatiana, she also ignores Olga.
"Hey, whats with the cold shoulders?" Olga asked as if like nothing has ever happened today. Then she realized. "Ah... I see is it because of Maria is it? Well that demon learned her lesson. Why don't we just get along like we always do." She continued.
"Demon!" Exclaimed Tatiana.
"Olga, how dare you call our sister a demon!" Anastaisa yelled.
"Then what should i call a person who tried to harm someone with a big peice of wood? And besides I'm only giving her discipline." Olga said.
"That was not discipline what you did back there, it was abuse!" Anastaisa yelled angerly. "Kicking you're own child or younger sibling on the stomach and the leg is discipline to you!? That's not how our parents disciplined us Olga, you just let your temper get full control over yourself!" She continued.
"Look, I know we got the wrong foot but things will smooth down soon." Olga sured
"Not for Maria it won't." Anastaisa said then she stands up and walks away from the dining room followed by Tatiana. Olga is left all alone in the dining room and led out a deep breath.
Yurovsky is in his wrecked room with only his chair and table replaced when he heared knocking on the door.
"Come in!" Yurovsky yelled.
The door opens revealing Maria with her arms on her back, Yurovsky immidiently flinched.
"No wait." Maria said softly.
"What are you gona do? Break my other knee!?" Yurovsky said in fear.
"I just want to say... I'm sorry.."Maria said.
"What..? Thats it?" Yurovsky Replied.
"No... I have more." Maria said.
Yurovsky eyes widened in fear of Maria pulling out a weapon but instead, Maria reaveles a basket and places it on the desk. Yurovsky takes the basket slowly and opens it and inside is cupcakes with chocolate frosting and half of the jewls from Maria's corset and 200 rubles. Yurovsky faces Maria with a suprised expression.
"Why... I...I don't know what to say." Yurovsky hesitates.
"No need for words. I just want to apologize for what i did too you're knee." Maria said
"I'm limping for the rest of my life. Thats how hard you hit it. So thank you." Yurovsky said sarcastically.
"Ouch... I'm sorry again." Maria replies with sympathy.
"I just don't know why you're doing this... after what..I." Yurovsky hesitated again.
"I just want to make up for what i did too you, because its the right thing. But this dosen't mean I forgive you for..." Maria dared herself not to finish her sentence.
"I understand..." Yurovsky replied with sudden guilt.
Maria leaves the room without looking back and after what she just did for him, he begin to think, is the family really not as evil as he thought?
