(Biana's POV)
"I-"
No words.
Speechless.
Shocked.
Amazed.
"Bi for me? I mean-you love me and-"
Sophie took her hand. "Biana. I do want you. And I do love you." Her brown eyes sparkled with emotion.
Once again, there were no words.
Only actions.
And this was an action Biana knew she had to do.
Another risk she had to take.
She pressed her lips against Sophie's. Her lips felt silky and soft. When Biana pulled away, a slow smile spread across her face and her cheeks burned. "I want you, Sophie. And I love you, more than anyone in the world."
Sophie's cheeks turned bright red. "I love you t-"
"Oh, I walk into a girls room and see her flushing and exchanging cheesy lines with her best friend."
Biana shrieked, flipping around to see Keefe standing in the doorway. She saw his normal smirk, but she could tell it was forced. He looked fidgety.
"You scared me."
Keefe laughed. "Well, Foster, it seems that Biana has stopped, so someone had to replace her."
Biana rolled her eyes. "You can't replace me." She flickered out of sigh, appearing on top of Keefe, her heel against his next. "Woah, Bi. No need to get scary."
Biana released Keefe, returning to Sophie's bed. "So, are you two-dating?"
Sophie and Biana shared a look. "Uh, well…"
"I'm guessing by those emotions you are."
Sophie fussed with her tunic. "It's not official or anything, and-"
Keefe snorted. "Calm down, Foster."
Sophie closed her eyes, and by the way Keefe's gaze kept softening, she guessed they were having a telepathic conversation. When they finished, Keefe blew out a breath. "Take care of Foster, okay? You have no clue how hard it is to keep her from near death situations." He smirked, but Biana could see the frown twirling among it.
"I will, Keefe. And we'll always need you." Biana guessed that Sophie had sent him a message as he left, because his back straightened.
"I loved you, Sophie. Please, don't let a pesk like me bother you and your...special girl." Keefe's eyes welled up. "I really wanted you."
Biana felt a tear drip down her cheek. "Don't make us cry, Keefe. There are other people out there that want you hard."
Keefe snorted. "Sure. I'm sure they'd love to live with the name Sencen, remembering my mother."
Biana saw Sophie flinch. "Please don't make this hard, Keefe."
Keefe shook his head. "I'm going back, Sophie. Don't try to stop me. And this time, I'm not coming back."
