:::Epilogue:::

(Eight Months Later)

Stepping out onto the balcony, Serenity smiled as she rested her hand against her round stomach. Feeling the gentle movement of her baby moving against her hand, she silently turned at the sound of approaching footsteps. "My King." She said, watching Heliodor step out onto their balcony.

"Are you not cold my Queen?" Heliodor asked with concern, seeing she had no protective covering, shielding her from the harsh winter air.

"No." Serenity softly stated, then gently reached out taking her husband's hand. "The baby has been moving this morning." She said, pressing Heliodor's hand against her round belly. Seeing her King smile when feeling the gentle movement within her, she felt Heliodor gently caress her cheek with his other hand.

"Our child will be here any day." Heliodor said, watching tears shine in his wife's eyes. "I'm nervous too my Queen." He said smiling down at her. "You will be a kind and gentle mother to our child, the child will be blessed to have you." He said, brushing a stray tear from her cheek.

"Thank you my King." Serenity softly stated, tearfully looking up into his gaze.

"Let's go inside, I do not want you to become ill." Heliodor said, gently resting his hand against her back as he walked beside his Queen returning to their bedchambers.

(Meanwhile on Kinmoku)

"We will find her Seiya-san." Yaten said, watching Seiya tearfully shake his head at his comment. 'He's starting to lose hope.' He sadly thought, knowing Seiya had been searching for Usagi for two months and still had no reliable leads of her whereabouts.

"This is all my fault, I- I should have never left Earth." Seiya desperately stated, as tears streaked his cheeks. "I should have-"

"Stop this!" Taiki sternly stated. "She's out there somewhere Seiya-san. Do you still love her?"

"Of course I do!" Seiya angrily shouted, glaring up at Taiki. "How could you ask me that?" He demanded.

"Then stop feeling sorry for yourself." Taiki sternly answered. "Usagi-chan is out there somewhere, our Queen has already informed the council. The Kingdoms in our realm have agreed to inform us if they learn of her whereabouts."

"What of the Outer Realm?" Yaten asked, watching Taiki quietly shake his head.

"No, both the council and Princess Kakyuu have forbidden us from searching there." Taiki softly stated. "The Outer Realm is still at war with one another, if we were caught or seen in the Outer Realm, we could be accused of conspiring in their war." He said softly sighing. "It's too dangerous right now."

"What if-" Seiya asked, pausing for a moment to steady his voice. "I have to look, what if she's there?" He desperately stated.

"Some of the council members have spies on these planets, to help keep them informed of the ongoing conflicts between two Kingdoms on Arietes and Helaen. With the rising tensions between Sheratan and Mesarthim, it won't be long before the Council's spies are moved to these planets." Taiki said watching Yaten sigh aloud before shaking his head in revulsion.

"Why do they not form a Council like the Inner Realm? We have had no conflicts with any of the neighboring planets, since the reconstruction caused by Sailor Galactica." Yaten scoffed, shaking his head with annoyance.

"The four Kings in that realm are power hungry, each wanting to control the other." Seiya scoffed, watching his brothers silently nod with agreement.

"There may not be as much conflict from the King of Helaen in the near future." Taiki said, watching Seiya and Yaten look at him. "I've heard he and his new Queen are expecting their first child."

"That is true." Queen Kakyuu stated, watching her three guardians swiftly turn and bow. "Where did you hear this?" She curiously asked watching Taiki blush slightly.

"I may have listened through the door of the last council meeting." Taiki said, nervously chuckling as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Tsk...Tsk." Queen Kakyuu teased, noticing Yaten trying to stifle his laughter. "Have you had any more leads on the White Moon Princess?" She worriedly asked, turning her gaze on Seiya.

"No your grace." Seiya stated, blinking his tears back. "I've been all over the realm, I don't know where else to look for her." He said trying to steady his wavering voice. "I've lost her, I don't know if I will ever see her again."

"Do not give up hope, my Starlight." Queen Kakyuu gently stated, seeing how heartbroken Seiya looked at that moment.

"She's been missing for almost a year, I don't know if she's even alive." Seiya said, clenching his fists as stray tears streaked his cheeks. "If I had returned to Earth sooner, I would have known of her capture, I would have been able to find her." He heart brokenly stated.

"Her guardians?" Queen Kakyuu gently asked. "Have they attempted any searches?"

"They are unable to travel outside their realm without the assistance of the ginzuishou." Taiki answered, watching his Queen sadly nod her head. "Please do not give up hope Seiya-san, she has to be out there." She said, watching him sadly nod his head.

'Where are you Odango?' Seiya desperately thought, looking out the large palace window. 'Are you safe?' He worriedly thought, knowing he couldn't bear the thought of her light fading and losing her. Watching snow beginning to gently fall from the gray clouds above, he softly sighed wishing he had kept his promise to her. 'I will find you my beloved, I don't care how long it takes me Odango.' He determinedly thought as he clenched his fists at his side.

(:::Three Days Later:::Arietes:::)

Turning the page in the book she was reading, Queen Serenity shifted uncomfortably in her seat, feeling a sudden pressure in her abdomen. Lowering the book into her lap, she rested her hand against her round belly as she shakily sighed, the pressure becoming more noticeable. "Something doesn't feel right ." She softly stated, noticing Tourmaline immediately stood quickly walking to her side.

"My Queen? Are you feeling unwell?" Tourmaline worriedly asked, noticing the young Queen holding onto her very rounded belly.

"I'm not sure Tourmaline-san." Queen Serenity said, lifting the book from her lap and sitting it on the small table next to her chair. Carefully standing, she turned and faced her guardian seeing concern in his teal blue eyes. "I'm alright, I think I need to rest." She said, watching her guardian quickly nod.

"Would you like for me to send for the King?" Tourmaline asked, gently helping his Queen from the chair. Watching his Queen gently smile before shaking her head, he heard her gently speak as she looked up at him.

"No, my King is very busy with his duties." Serenity said, smiling up at her Guardian. "I do not want to bother the King with every little ache and pain I endure during this pregnancy." She said, gently laughing when her guardian blushed. "I appreciate your concern, my friend."

"It is my duty to protect you my Queen, if you are in-" Tourmaline stated, then watched in worry as his Queen suddenly grabbed onto her stomach crying out in pain.

Feeling an intense sharp pain, Queen Serenity quickly grasped her stomach crying out at the intense pain. "I- I think it's time for the baby." She gasped, feeling a sudden rush of warm liquid soak her legs. "My water just broke." She gasped, looking up at Tourmaline in surprise. Crying out as the pain became more intense, she felt herself sinking to the floor.

"Serenity-sama!" Tourmaline cried out, quickly catching his Queen before she collapsed to the floor. "I have you." He said, noticing how damp her gown was when he lifted her into his arms. "I'm taking you to the royal physician, your grace. I will have another guard sent to retrieve the King." He said, watching her nod as tears streaked her cheeks.

"This hurts!" Queen Serenity cried out, noticing her hands shaking from the intensity of the pain. "Please hurry Tourmaline-san." She begged, as her guardian swiftly carried her the direction of the medical wing of the palace.

"Damn them." King Heliodor stated, as he listened to his adviser speak of the recent attacks from their neighboring planet Arietes. "Prepare a fleet to send a counter strike, Morganite will be in charge of coordinating the attack. As soon as my Queen has our child, we will use the power of the ginzuishou to show them how truly powerful the Kingdom of Helaen is." He jeered, clenching his fist in anger.

"As you command my King." The royal adviser stated while bowing. "There is only one other matter to discuss, then that will be all for to-" He said, looking up as a guard abruptly pushed the Council Room door open.

"What is the meaning of this interruption?" King Heliodor angrily asked, while standing and angrily looking at the guard.

"My King." The guard stated out of breath, as he bowed. "The Queen, she is having the baby." He said taking a quick breath trying to calm his burning lungs from running. "Tourmaline-san is taking her to the royal physician as we speak.

"What?" King Heliodor stated in surprise, then turned to his royal adviser, watching the elderly man smile and usher him forwards.

"Go my King, your Queen needs you now more than ever." The royal adviser ushered, watching his Prince swiftly vanish from the Council Room.

"I can't do this!" Queen Serenity cried out, as tears streaked her cheeks. "It hurts." She moaned out, as her contractions began drawing closer to one another.

"My Queen, you need to calm your breathing." Variscite stated, turning and looking at the young Queen.

"Where is Heliodor-sama? Why is he not here?" Queen Serenity demanded, then gasped hearing his soft chuckle.

"I'm here my Queen." King Heliodor stated, hearing his wife's comment upon entering the room. Walking to her bedside, he watched her lean forward crying out in pain, as she experienced another contraction. "Soon this pain will be over my Queen." He said, watching her collapse back against the bed as tears streaked her cheeks. "Soon you will be holding our child." He said, taking her hand and gently kissing the back of her hand. Turning his attention to the royal physician, he watched Variscite raise the covering to inspect his wife. "Well?" He commanded.

"It's almost time to start pushing my Queen." Variscite said, lowering the covering and smiling at the couple. Rolling his chair over, he sat and prepared the medical supplies on the small table beside him. Hearing the Queen cry out in pain once more from another contraction, he raised the covering to inspect her and smiled looking up at the young Queen. "I need you to push, your grace." He said watching her raise and begin to push. "Well done, now we will need to wait for the next contraction." He instructed.

Lying back against the pillows propped behind her, Queen Serenity quickly raised once more feeling another contraction. Squeezing down on Heliodor's hand, she cried out at the intense pain as she began to push once more.

"You're doing great my Queen." King Heliodor stated, glancing at Variscite and noticing him quickly nod his head. "Now Serenity-sama." He instructed, tightening his hold on her hand as she raised and pushed once more.

"I can see the head." Variscite stated, watching his King happily smile. "Now my Queen, I need one more push." He instructed, watching the Queen raise and push with all strength. Hearing her scream out in pain, he smiled as the infant's cries soon filled the room. Gently taking the small infant, he carefully began to clean and prepare the infant, after finishing, he carefully swaddled the tiny infant before standing to present the infant to the King.

Crying out at the immense pain of the last push, Queen Serenity tiredly collapsed back and happily smiled hearing the cries of her baby soon fill the room. "What is it?" She tiredly asked, tears streaking her cheeks as she watched Variscite carefully wiping her baby down. Tiredly watching with anticipation, Serenity watched Variscite soon stand with a small bundle in his arms, the infant's cries no longer filling the room.

"You have a son my King." Variscite stated, watching the King happily smile up at him as he carried the small Prince forwards to the King. Watching the King hold his arms out, he gently set the small infant into the Kings awaiting arms, watching King Heliodor proudly smile down at his son.

"My son, Prince Heliodor-sama." King Heliodor proudly stated, while looking down at the small infant in his arms. Seeing their son had silver wisps of hair, he smiled seeing blue eyes peek up at him before quickly closing from the bright light in the room. "You have your mother's eyes." He said, looking over at his exhausted wife. Seeing how exhausted she looked, he watched her tearfully smile up at him, as he carefully lowered their son for her to look at. "He's perfect my Queen." He said, watching happy tears streak her cheeks. 'Perhaps you will have the desire to stay here now.' He thought, knowing it was the first time seeing his Queen truly smile.

"My little Prince." Queen Serenity tearfully stated, as happy tears streaked her cheeks. Wiping her tears away, she watched King Heliodor lower their son into her arms. "He's so tiny." She tiredly stated, watching their son peek up at her for a brief moment. "Helio-sama." She gently stated, smiling down at her son as she looked down at her child. 'I will do everything I can to ensure you're safe.' She thought knowing the Arietes attacks were becoming more frequent on Helaen. 'No harm will ever come to you my little Prince, I swear it.' She thought with determination. Gently kissing her son's forehead, she glanced up feeling King Heliodor gently resting his hand on her shoulder. Seeing him happily smiling down at her, she gently smiled up at him. Watching him lean down, she closed her eyes as his lips pressed softly against hers.

(One Week Later)

Humming a soft tune to her son as she nursed him, Serenity smiled as she watched her son greedily suckle from her breast. Continuing to hum as her son ate, she jumped in fear as the distant sounds of an explosion rocked the city. 'Damn them.' She angrily thought, carefully getting off the bed and walking to her balcony. Looking out, she felt tears shining in her eyes seeing the distant city had suffered another attack from the Arietes. Watching a tower in the distance was erupted in flames, she watched the dark smoke fill the air.

"My Queen." Tourmaline stated, abruptly turning his back to her when noticing she was nursing the small Prince. "My apologies." He quickly stated, blushing from seeing his exposed Queen. "You should be inside, it's not safe. The Arietes has sent an attack on the city. You and the Prince need to be inside where you will be safely guarded."

"Why?" Queen Serenity softly stated tearfully looking at her friend. "Why do they attack us? What has the Helaen's done to the Arietes to justify these attacks?"

"It has always been like this your grace." Tourmaline said keeping his back turned as he spoke. "As a small child, I remember my school being hit in the crossfires of a blast. One of my sisters, her classroom was near the blast." He said hearing the Queen's soft gasp. "She and her class were killed instantly by blast, she was only five. I was seven at the time, my class was further down the hall, we were injured, but we were lucky that we did not suffer the same fate as she did."

"I'm sorry Tourmaline-san, that's terrible." Queen Serenity softly stated as tears streaked her cheeks as she protectively tightened her hold on her feeding son. "I wish there was something I could do to stop this." She said her voice wavering as she spoke.

"There is my Queen." King Heliodor stated motioning Tourmaline away from the balcony as he walked to where his wife was nursing their son. Watching the tower burning in the distance, he softly sighed silently standing beside his Queen. "This is why I searched for the ginzuishou, my Queen." He gently stated keeping his gaze forward. "The Arietes, they must be stopped. I want our son to have a future where he and his people will not live in fear. I want to be the one who finally puts a stop to this senseless bloodshed between the people of Helaen and Arietes."

"I will fight." Queen Serenity softly stated, not noticing her husband's surprised reaction. "My son will have a peaceful future, I will not allow this bloodshed to happen any longer on Helaen. I am their Queen now, they are my people, just as they are yours." She said watching King Heliodor gently smiling at her as she looked into his eyes. "What do I need to do my King? Tell me how to protect our Kingdom."
